TonTon

"Located in a quiet residential street, this cosy, bistro-style restaurant is testament to the fact that travelling the world is always an enriching experience. Proof comes in the form of owner-chef Gustavo Rozzino's delicious international dishes, which take their influence from Brazilian, Italian, French and English recipes; this unusual culinary combination representing the various countries in which he trained as a chef." - Michelin Inspector

Great little French restaurant packed with charm. The food and service were excellent. The steak came out a little more cooked than I appreciated and they replaced it. No questions asked.

Tonton Sadly a review is necessary. The food quality offered by tonton is terrible by any possible evaluation aspect ( quality, taste, presentation, value for money ), i will leave the staff behavior aside, all of it make it unworthy of being an inspector’s favorite for good value. My fiancee and I had both the executive lunch on the 10/1/2025. The entree was well below any acceptable standard, it was mediocre. The main dish, picadinho “a la boeuf bourguignon” was literally barely edible: someone had oversalted the spinach, we left part of our dish untouched. The desserts were so bad that we just tasted one bite of them and decided we were better away from that place, that we’d probably get sick from eating anything more there. The icecream was served melted, the brigadeiro tasted nothing like a brigadeiro and looked like a dog dejection ( picture available ). Whoever is looking to eat and not being disgusted has to avoid that place. The Michelin guide should review the restaurant now ( maybe the staff changed ? ) or the person who vetted it.

I don’t understand why this restaurant is in the Micheline Guide. We arrived 5 minutes early and a grumpy man met us at the door and barked at us to stay outside (even though there were other customers seated at tables). That pretty much set the scene for our evening. The service was laughably bad and the food was mediocre. The cocktails were the only positives. Micheline needs to revisit this one.

Good value and excellent service! I had a Moqueca TonTon and it’s flavours were very complex. There was a good balance of sweet and savoury from the coconut milk, grilled banana and seafood stew. Also don’t leave without trying the pink guava and cheese dessert. 🤤

One star Michelin definitely. For my taste, the chorizo plate was a bit too rare but I guess that's ok. Entries and wine were spectacular. Price is very high.

It's a Restaurant. Not a Bistro. Unless you lunch by the Executive Menu. Then you will have a bistro experience. Please reserve upfront. That should be the mantra. It's expensive as align with the Michelin star. Great ambiance, marvelous food. But prepare your pocketbook and reserve!

Yelp
Great restaurant if you are looking for typical Brasilian food. They have the best Moqueca in São Paulo, some other amazing plates and great desserts.
