I love this place. Love love love their deep dish pizza. So much cheese so much flavor! I usually order half pepperoni half canadian bacon/hawaiian.The owner is super nice. He was nice enought to cut my pizza in half and put it in another box so I could split it with my friend. All the workers are nice. I've been coming for quite a few years here you wont regret it if uou live cheesy deep dish and mouthwatering tomato sauce!

First time here, and I was disappointed. Pizza is mediocre at best. Crust tasts like Pillsbury dough. The sauce was too bitter. The wings and the antipasto salad were decent. The employees were very nice and the service was great! The place has kind of a weird vibe. I don't think anybody in SoCal really cares about any of the Chicago sports teams. Especially in the greater LA area/OC. The pics look way better than the food really is.

Found this place in 2018 a year after I had moved to California and I have to say there is no other pizza place in California that can compare to this place. This is definitely a hole in the wall that only locals know about, the deep dish will always be worth the price and nothing in socal is better.

The people running it are super friendly and the service is excellent. The dining room is kind of small so please plan accordingly. Decor is cool, too. My wife who was a resident of the Chicago area for many years says it's at least as good as the deep dish she remembers but obviously food native to the area will always be superior. The beers on draft will perfectly complement the hearty deep dish. When I went there was Stella, Bud Light, Kona Longboard, and Space Dust. Definitely a must try.

Location is very small but seems cozy and friendly. The staff is super nice engaging and well just plain ol friendly. We ordered to go and the pie was still hot by the time I got it home. I learned about Tony’s from KTLA and an article that rated Tony’s as one of the top places in all of the US for Deep Dish Chicago style pizza. Well I don’t have many reference points. I have had pie in Chicago and I can honestly say Tony’s Pizza is better. The sauce is superb, the tomato is fresh and you get plenty of cheese. They earned their reputation. Do your taste buds a favor make a stop to Tony’s.

Being a Chicago transplant, I crave a good Chicago pizza. Living in Riverside, I don't have too many choices close by. Decided to give this place a try after watching a Facebook or Instagram reel. Didn't look promising from the pictures I found online, but it said it was one of Yelp's top 5 Chicago pizza places in the nation so had to go try it out for myself. It was a good 45 minute drive for me. Hoping it was going to be worth it. Once I arrived, I noticed the place was very small. Only a few tables available inside the Pizzeria. A couple more outside on the sidewalk. Of course it was on a Sunday when I went and the Bears were playing so no where to sit inside. It was nice, however, seeing other Chicagoans rooting for our home team sporting their game day gear. We ended up sitting outside, at least it was a nice day and was able to watch the game through the window front. We ordered a large stuffed spinach pizza. The wait was quite a while. Longer than any other place I've ever been to. Especially having only a few customers there. I did, however, see a lot of people picking up their orders and leaving. We waited close to an hour. It finally came. The pizza was fresh out of the oven. We let it sit and settle for a few minutes. When I finally cut into it, the center cheese came rushing out. It was a very messy pizza. Never seen one that messy before. Hoping it tasted better than it looked. The spinach was skimpy. I think they could have put more spinach in it, but oh well. Took a first bite and was pleasantly surprised at how good and fresh it tasted. Not quite as good as a pie from back home, but definitely better than any I have had here in southern California. Worth the drive there. The sauce, I think, could have had more spices added to it, but definitely savory. Not sweet like some other places. I think the sauce is what differentiates a true Chicago pizza from the rest. More zesty than sweet. I loved the crust. It was very crispy throughout and buttery. Not flaky, which I'm not a fan of. This crust had good flavor and crunch. Not easy to find in a stuffed pizza. The undercarriage was still firm, especially for being stuffed. Very difficult to find that in a stuffed pie. My biggest disappointed was when I asked for a side of giardiniera peppers. They said they didn't have any. What respectable Chicago Pizzeria does not stock giardiniera peppers? To me, they simply go hand in hand. If I ever go back, I will take my own jar of peppers. Overall, I was very pleased with this pizza. I want to go back and try the thin crust. It is a bit pricey, almost $50 out the door for a large stuffed, but then again everything has gone up in price. I did feed 3 adults and 2 children, so not crazy expensive, but it is just a pizza. Take it as you may. I would recommend Tony's Little Italy for their pizza. My favorite here in socal for sure. I did also enjoy all the Chicago sports paraphernalia on the walls. Very reminiscent of my hometown. If you haven't gone, you must give it a try.

Good deep dish pizza. We enjoyed it very much. The sandwich not so much. The host was pleasant. Knowledgeable of all product. Place is a bit small. Has 4 tables. Call ahead of time for pizzas. Can take up to 45 minutes for the pizza to be ready. The owner, Tony was working at the oven area still. He has a lot of passion. Nice guy. Place is located in a strip plaza. Lots of parking. We will be back. We will not order the sandwich but more pizza.

Wow this place is so great! It is very hard to find authentic Chicago deep dish. This place delivers a very close representation of the real thing. One of the best things about this location is that it offers an excellent dining room area with artwork of Chicago. Since this is traditional Chicago style pizza, the pizza will take awhile to prepare. Overall it's a great pizza and a delicious meal.

A friend mentioned he is ordering a deep dish pizza so he could watch the Lions game. It sounded like a great idea. I ordered wings and a Tony's Special deep dish, Chicago style pizza. I only have Geno's pizza in Chicago to compare it with. I wore my Chicago Bears hoodie and ball cap to pick up the pizza. I used to go the area, and didn't know Tony's served deep dish pizza! I chatted with the staff, and took the pie home to eat. I got a medium pizza but could only manage two slices. It was really flavorful, delicious! I poured a Lite Beer from Miller to commemorate the late Bob Uecker. I saved some pizza so I could watch the Rams game...I highly recommend the Chicago style deep dish pizza from Tony's!

Had wanted to try Tony's for some time now and finally did. Craving a good deep dish and Tony's was the place. We ordered a Mushroom, olives and pepperoni deep dish and it was very good. Oddly, this place was empty on a Saturday night. The pizza was good and made for good leftovers the next day as well. I'm sure we'll be back.

I've had this on my bookmark for some time, but didn't realize how close it was to home until a friend of mine recommended it again. This was a perfect spot for our friends to spend some time after work to catch up. This hidden gem is a small little pizza shop tucked in a strip mall shared with large businesses like Crunch Fitness and the Dollar Store. I let my friend handle all the ordering so we got to try the medium wings, meat lover's pizza, and the deep dish pizza. We also paired it with some beers, and Coke Zero. The total came out to be $142 which isn't too bad for 5 people. I don't know if I'd say the pizzas were out of this world or anything, but it was pretty darn tasty! I also really appreciate the comforting service they provided. I was definitely shocked to see how large the pizza's are, especially the deep dish. One slice of deep dish was enough for me. Even with five people, we had 8 slices left over. Glad I got the chance to try this super popular pizza spot.

I have been a regular customer of this amazing place for a very long time and it is because they are one of my top 3 pizza restaurants. Their Chicago style deep dish pizza is especially phenomenal. I never get sick and tired of it even though I order it every week. Either it is only cheese or with pepperoni, you will never get disappointed. This is a family owned business and they work very hard making such an incredible food and keeping the customer's satisfactory priority. It is always a pleasure either I dine-in or take out. If you would like to dine-in and watch sports, they have a TV so you can not only enjoy your food but also your favorite game. It is a small restaurant but the more crowd, the better since it has that Italian family vibe. Just a heads up, the Chicago style deep dish pizza takes 45 minutes so plan and order ahead. It may seem a long time but it is totally worth the wait. You won't regret.

Good pizza. Tasty but very low on pepperoni next time I'd rather just get a cheese pizza it's almost the same. The wings... big mistake. The wings were burnt yet chewy on the inside and had no sauce at all. Wouldn't recommend. The service was good but they charge you extra to use your card.

This is the best deep dish pizza I have had outside of Chicago. Made the correct way, our entire family loved it.

This was my first time here and overall it was a good experience! We got the garlic bread and sausage and green pepper deep dish pizza. The garlic bread was buttery and toasted very well, but could use a stronger garlic taste. We had it brought out first while we waited for the pizza to be made. Once the pizza came out, we waited a few additional minutes for it to settle as instructed. Once we dug into the pizza, each slice had a satisfying cheese pull and the crust held on the mountain non cheese and sauce very well! Tip: we went when it first opened and they got a decent amount of customers and to go orders around that time, so expect a decent wait time.

Definitely the best deep dish pizza I've had in southern California. One slice will fill you up, two slices will have your gut busting. The only drawback is it is pricey and they skimp a little on the toppings. Everything else is great. Just make sure you order about an hour before you're ready to pick it up

Pizza takes a while, (took about 45 minutes) but if you're in the mood there's not much better in OC. Pizza is super cheesy and the sauce and toppings are super delicious. Worth the wait!

This place is hands-down guarantee the best place if you're looking for any type of Chicago style food pizza pies are out of this world you can't go wrong 45 minute wait if you order any deep dish, but it's worth the wait, the customer service is excellent. The sun now owns the business as he's doing an excellent job. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. This is definitely a Chicago style landmark and so Orange County area. I'm from Chicago and this is the real deal. Enjoy bon appétit.

You don't need to catch a plane to enjoy Chicago pizza when in Orange County. I lived in Chicago for four years attending school and loved Chicago pizza while living there. I have always been on the prowl for Chicago pizza in southern California. I found a place in La Jolla, but never anything close in LA or Orange Counties until now. My wife suggested I try Tony's while I was with her at work in Fullerton and I was blown away with the Chicago pizza at Tony's. We ordered the sausage, mushroom, olives, and spinach 10 inch pizza and it was just like and better than some Chicago pizza joints. I now have my go to Chicago pizza place a few miles from my wife's work. Anyone that has enjoyed Chicago pizza in Chicago won't be disappointed when eating at Tony's

A coworker told me about this place, and even though the drive is out of the way from both work and home, I knew I had to try it. And I must say, these guys totally deserve the hype. Their deep dish pepperoni pizza was SO. GOOD. Seems like they have the technique down to make the deep dish crust withstand the sheer volume of sauce and cheese without being soggy or mushy. I thoroughly enjoyed the thickness and textures of this specific pan-pizza style. The sauce was savory and not overly tangy, which I love. There was a generous amount of cheese, which I also love. The only thing I'd wish for was more pepperonis on top of the pizza to add a crispy element since about 98% of them were under the red sauce. It's pretty pricey for a pizza (I think it was around $35 for a medium), but I feel like specialty pizza shops that use quality ingredients and are meticulous about their work tend to be expensive anyways. Also, one slice is probably over an inch thick and is very filling, so it's worth it :] I placed my order over the phone and was told to give it 45min-1hr and that cash was preferred. I'm not sure if that meant a surcharge for using card, though. Service was right down to business yet friendly. The shop was easy to find in the small strip mall that has a shared parking lot with the rest of the plaza.

The best Chicago style pizza in Orange County! The owner is from Chicago so he knows what he is doing. And I'm originally from Chicago so I know what I'm eating. I've tried other places that claim to serve Chicago pizza, but they don't even come close to Tony's! For those who don't know, Chicago Deep Dish pizza is basically upside down. You start with a nice thick but light dough. Then add toppings, then tons of cheese, then sauce. It's so substantial that it can feed more people than you think. You eat it with a fork and knife. My wife is only able to eat one slice of medium size before she gets full. I can only eat 2 or 3 slices of medium size before I'm full. That means a medium can easily feed 3-4 people. It takes at least 45 minutes to cook, so I suggest you call ahead and order before showing up if you're planning to dine in. It's also a very small dining room so you might have to wait for a table, even on a Sunday night. Weekdays are less busy. The Medium Deep Dish with pepperoni, mushrooms, and extra onions was great! They don't have Sauvignon Blanc nor Pinot Grigio, so we usually bring a bottle of wine and incur the low corkage fee of $5. Very friendly cozy place!

I have to mention that I was not a big fan of deep dish pizza until I went to Chicago a couple years ago. I was mostly disappointed the couple times I've had deep dish in LA at places that were recommended. My partner had a hankering for deep dish pizza out of nowhere this past weekend, so I cautiously agreed to come along. Man oh man was I pleasantly surprised. The cheese and sauce here takes your typical pizza to another level. The BEST part was the crust. How is it so buttery, crispy, flakey, and so well-seasoned all at the same time??? We can't wait to go back. Probably should remember to fast for a couple days before and after though! Oh and don't forget to call in your order ahead as it takes 45 minutes for a deep dish!

Love Tony's Little Italy Deep Dish Pizza. It's all about the sauce!! Usually, I regret eating pizza due to the high sodium levels in the premade sauces and ingredients. Not here!! The pizzas are crafted quality ingredients and love. You can tell when you meet the owner! We ordered our favorite toppings, pepperoni, mushroom and olive and it did not disappoint. It was equally cheesy and saucy, and I wish I could've taken a video as I experienced the most beautiful cheese pull ever when taking my slice. While Deep Dish isn't cheap, it's very reasonable for the portion size and how filling it was. I would eat here again in a heartbeat!

This place is great. I've been going here since it was on Kramer and Bastanchury. I remember when the kids were small and working in the back. I'm glad they took over and the mom and dad retired. It is no wonder that they are so popular in the community, the good is always top notch. My only wish would be the return of the lasagna. Keep up the good work. You are a staple in the neighborhood.

Was feeling a tad bit hungry so after searching for about 40 minutes for a pizza place, I decided to go with this place! Glad I did!! From our phone call in to order to picking up the pizza, the employees were super kind. The restaurant was clean which is always important. We had the deep dish pepperoni pizza and were not disappointed! I usually drench my pizza in ranch and this pizza did not need a drop of it! The cheese was so creamy, the bread was airy and soft, and the marinera was not bland!! We ordered the medium size for 3 adults and we still had slices over! They are definitely well proportioned!!!

In my humble opinion. This is most definitely an authentic and worthy Chicago style pizza. Being in the Navy and based in Chicago I've been exposed to true Chicago pizza. But as I have explored and tried pizzas all around the states. I would say perhaps my pizza taste is different. I wasn't big on the pizza having a mountain of cheese little toppings and lots of sauce. I personally think the balance could've been better. To top it off it was our date night choice. As we arrive at 8:15pm we are being told only carry out. Still take the chance even though 10pm is the closing time. We see other tables around us being served and thought it was odd. Because we would've most certainly finished by 10pm. And the pizza did take 45mins leaving an hour or so to eat. All and all try this place and form your own review and opinion.

This place has the best deep dish in So Cal. We have driven out there from the South Bay twice. Worth the drive!

Probably one of the best deep dish pizzas I ever had. We always get the Tony's special 10" deep dish and still have leftovers between my wife and I. We ordered pizza bread for the very first time today and was not that impressive. Maybe if the bread was crispier or if it was like a garlic bread with meat sauce and cheese. I wonder if we can make suggestions I really want to try other items on the menu but can never pass up the deep dish pizza.

The service was impeccable and the food.... absolutely delicious!!! This will definitely be our go-to place for authentic deep dish stuffed pizza from now on.

The service - great! They were friendly and welcoming. My order was complete at the specified time. The lid was loose on my Italian dressing and it spilled in the paper bag onto my car seat, so I didn't get to enjoy my salad. I got the Tony's special deep dish. The sauce savory and sumptuous and toppings were a great quality. There was ample cheese as one would expect of a deep dish. And the crust was firm and held up well against a plethora of toppings. Not as buttery as the crust you would find at Giordano's, but worthy of its own recognition. The salad dressing got all over my car seat so i'm a bit salty about that. Otherwise this place would have 5 stars.

Tried their Chicago deep dish pizza.. it was a little too extreme for me with the really deep thick sauce. Unable to really taste the sausage or cheese. I think next time I'm going to try the thin crust and request minimal sauce so I can see the toppings and cheese. Round two soon I'll let you know

Ever since my trip to Chicago a few years back, I've always craved a deep dish. I've tried a few places back at home and from other vacations, but this one comes closest to what I had. It's a quaint little place with a handful of tables. Lots of fun Chicago sports articles, flags and jerseys all over the walls. We were hungry so we decided to get a few things. Of course a pepperoni deep dish, some wings and garlic bread. As we were placing our order at the front, the donut shop owner nearby came to pick up an order of fresh French bread. Wow. It takes a while for the pizza, so we were glad we got the wings and bread. Wings were nice and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. Went amazing with the cool, thick ranch. The garlic bread was amazing. Using fresh bread makes a world of a difference. Crunch crust and the bread is sooo soft! Now for the star... the pie. I would advise not to do what we did and eat it immediately. It's best to let it sit and rest a little bit so the cheese can solidify just a little. But because we're impatient and so excited, we immediately took a slice. Haha. You can see the steam rising in my pic. Ooey and gooey with cheese, sauce and pep. The crust was nice and crunchy but not doughy. Perfection. Will hands down come back the next time I'm in Cali.

First time visiting this neighborhood gem in the OC. I've never had Chicago style pizza outside of Chicago and let me tell you, this place will transport you there. The interior decor is as Chicago as it can be and if you look closely you'll see all the awards they've won over the years. Service from the gentlemen who picked up the phone was super nice and paid very close attention to detail. I got a deep dish and thin crust pie to be able to try both styles. Both spot on from quality of the dough, cheese, and toppings. I'll definitely be back and recommend this place when wanting the deep dish pie

I heard about this spot through social media. I had gone to Chicago some years ago and loved the Chicago style pizza. You don't often hear about Chicago style pizza that much out here on the west coast but I came across this online so I thought id try it since I work in the OC. I wanted enough food for myself and coworkers, I was told that each pizza feeds about three to five people. While delivery is free, its only within a four mile radius. They do not offer delivery through any other food delivery app(grubhub/ubereats) so I had to pick it up myself. I ordered two pizzas Chicago deep dish style. One a meat lovers and one the special(which could be considered supreme). These pies were heavy! The guy at the counter told me they had weighed these things beforehand and I didn't believe that the food would be that heavy. Quality was amazing. From the two, I loved the meat lovers the most! They do not skip out on ingredients here which leads me to my next point. The cost for two pizzas was an unexpected almost one hundred dollars(after tip). So the next question, is it worth it? For special occasions or once in a while I would say so. This is definitely the closest experience I had to the pizza I had in Chicago. Amazing customer service and my food was ready when they said it would. There was many people eating in and the restaurant itself really had those Chicago vibes.

We picked up two deep dish pizzas for takeout, which was plenty for 10 people. When it comes to deep dish, usually 2 slices is more than enough per person. We got a Cheese and Tony's Special, which includes sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. I actually enjoyed the cheese more as it had more cheesiness to it. The pizzas range from $31-34 for a 14inch deep dish. The best part of the deep dish is actually the crust, which I like to drizzle some honey over too. Great place for deep dish pizza.

Food is amazing. Very fresh and delicious. The guys that are working there are friendly. The place is a little small and it's prices are high. I ordered too much too but it was good to take home.

This review is exclusively about Tony's deep dish pizza and oh my God is it so so bomb. Tony's definitely gives hole-in-the-wall hidden gem vibes. It reminds my of my family's mom and pop restaurant growing up -- the family that owns the place seem to be very present and often the ones serving you. Tony's got a fairly small seating area, and we've only picked up to go. I love that everything seems very authentic and old school, down to the hand-written notes on the counter. The deep dish pizza is so filling and delicious, the dough itself is *chef's kiss*. I love how it's almost slightly undercooked and soft on the inside while crisp at the outer crust--the elite crunch to chewy ratio that keeps us coming back for more.

I've had deep dish pizza all over California,and in Chicago. Tony's is the best by far,nothing compares. Can't wait to visit this local spot again.

It's setup for takeout orders. There is about 4 picnic style tables inside, that can be used to wait for your to go order. I suggest ordering ahead over the phone. The deep dish pizzas take about 45 to 50 minutes. Call ahead and place your order. The pizzas are not so "little." Staff are very friendly. They greeted me right when I walked in and I paid for my phone order. I waited about 10 minutes for my deep dish pizza. I got a deep dish pizza, stuffed with mushrooms and pineapple. It was delicious!!! And that cheese pull is top notch. My only complaint is the dough. It's a bit on the dry side. The bottom and the crust are dry. But maybe that's necessary to hold the large amount of deep dish filling lol Overall, amazing pizza. I do wish they had Alfredo sauce as an option instead of tomato sauce. That would be great. Mushrooms and pineapple belong on deep dish pizza. Don't agree? Change my mind. ;)

The food is always Great. The service is always kind and welcoming and the ambiance has gotten better than last I went but that's never been a negative for me. Love this place and love taking folks here.

Gotta say, found this spot by chance on Yelp and it's probably the best decision on a football Sunday. Not only is the pizza authentically great, the staff is amazing on point and especially accommodating to my disabled step daughter, come and get a great pizza by great people

One word to describe....DAMN!!!! On point. We randomly found this spot heading home on Saturday and wow, it did not disappoint one bit. The wait for the deep dish is a little long, but thats just part of that process. Very friendly staff and the place itself, while small is very welcoming. Great find!!!

Legit deep dish pizza straight out of Chicago !! Since the younger guys took over, customer service has been nicer lol. But I do miss the hardcore Chicago vibe form the OGs People cheer when I bring their pizza to parties. You can be a hero too

This place is definitely a gem. I had just come back from a trip to Chicago and was still craving some legitimate deep dish. A good friend recommended this place and it was absolutely spot on. Just as good as the real thing. The service inside for my pickup order was very friendly and quick. Will definitely be back soon and will definitely recommend to everyone and anyone I can think of. OMG best and most authentic Chicago deep dish I have ever had. I love the owners here. Italians from Chicago. I'm Italian and from the Midwest myself. But I digress. This pizza is incredible! Try it, you'll like it!

For me probably the best deep dish pizza around. I don't usually have deep dish but this is good pie. Super heavy and filling. Takes a while to make so give yourself time if you're just swinging by to pick up a pizza.
