Love love love Tony. His care and attention to detail along with his desire to stay current in hair is the best. I’ve been going to him for over 10 years. He’s professional, attentive and the best at what he does. He’s also honest on what he will not do!

I have been getting highlights for 20 years and Tony is the best colorist and stylist I have ever seen. And you will👏not👏believe👏 his prices! He's half the price of the downtown salons and twice the talent. I've been going to him for about 6 years now, and I see him about 4x year. I have never--not one time--been disappointed. Tony always knows how to evolve and change my hair color to keep it modern and fresh. Most recently, he added some subtle rose gold hues that I loved (see the pic with red earrings). He's also just a joy to be around and when I leave I feel like I'm leaving the spa. He also understands if I have to work straight through our appointment, which happens often. 😂 Tony is THE BEST for blondes (and everybody, honestly). My mom and several of my friends now see him, too. Thank you, Tony!

I always leave Tony's salon chair feeling extra handsome with my fresh haircut! He's cut and styled my hair a number of different ways over the years - slick fades, fauxhawks, mohawk fades, and asymmetrical side parts - and he's always delivered incredible results. With clear explanations about how my hair sits on my head (hair density, funny little cowlicks from wearing bandanas, etc.) he's also saved me from some of my bad haircut ideas, or talked me through how we can get to my idea eventually. Also, on some days I'm really lazy when it comes to doing my hair, and I love that he gives me a haircut that is low maintenance and looks good even without any styling or product.

Men's cut here: I have been going to Tony since I came to the city over 10 years ago. Needless to say, I have been following him wherever he takes his skills. He is very thorough and thoughtfully considers how certain cuts will work for individuals. He gently communicates and asks the right questions so he can understand what his clients are looking for. The beauty is in the details and he always delivers, which is why I always go to Tony.

Tony is so friendly and kind, and i always leave his chair feeling like a million bucks! he does a great job turning my vague requests into actual nice looking haircuts and more often than not i pretty much just ask him to do what he thinks will look good. overall can’t recommend Tony enough, i would give more stars if i could!

Tony did an amazing job. My hair looks FANTASTIC. I have short grey hair and I’m an older lady so we went with an ashy blond/white color and I love it. My daughter says I look like an Eileen Fisher model. 😃 Thank you soooooo much!!

Tony is a true professional and takes great pride in his work. He is thoughtful about his design choices and personable through and through. He is also ready to chat about any and all topics during the cut, including his deep knowledge of Yoga & fitness. I highly recommend him!

Tony Barbuto is simply incredible. My top five favorite things about Tony, because there isn't enough room for them all: 1) HIS COLOR!!! No one can do blonde like Tony. I have seen dozens of colorists and stylists in my life and no one has half his talent. His prices are exceedingly reasonable considering his amazing talent (I only pay $240 for a full head of balayage and highlights plus a cut, blow dry and curls). That's half of what some colorists in SF charge! 2) HIS CUTS!!! My best advice when Tony is doing your hair is to just let him do whatever he thinks is best. He understands what works with different face shapes and textures of hair better than any stylist I've ever worked with. I have long, straight hair but my friend who also sees him as tight curls and is equally as happy with his color and cuts. Both of our moms also see Tony now. 3) His knowledge. Tony is constantly studying the latest best practices in hair color, so he always has something new to try. Every time he does my hair I like it better than the last time. I'm amazed by how skilled he is at gathering new color ideas online but then changing and shaping them to make them his own. 4) His help with my routine! Tony doesn't just make you beautiful at the salon. He has single-handedly transformed my hair with the products and routines he's introduced me to. My hair used to break off by the time it grew past my shoulders. Now it reaches past my waist and is soft and healthy. 5) His culture. Tony and the larger salon cultivate a warm, welcoming culture of love and happiness. Don't get thrown by the kitchy decorations... trust me, you'll never want to leave Vierra and Friends once you're there. It's clear they love each other and love their clients. I've been going for five years and I am one of their "newer" clients. TONY FOR HAIR POTUS!!

Tony has been cutting my hair for years and I have never walked away from a hair appointment feeling even a little unhappy! He is a skilled and trustworthy hair stylist who always asks what kind of look you're going for, while using his expertise to steer you in the right direction. I've had both short and long hairstyles with him and he is equally good at both!! Plus he is a lovely person, I love chatting with him during our appointments. The Park Salon in general is a great facility with a smooth operation, esp. concerning COVID. They take temperatures at the door, everyone is masked and spaced out, and there's plenty of hand sanitizer. 5/5 star experience

I have been going to Tony for about 6 years now. I am someone who has always felt a bit nervous about having my hair cut; I really wanted to find someone who could look at my features, the structure and shape of my face AND listen to what I wanted. Tony really listens and consistently gives me cuts that flatter my face. Tony gives masterly cuts that always grow out beautifully. There have been times (hello, COVID) that I could not get a cut for several months, and the cut always stands the test of time. Tony clearly enjoys what he does, which you definitely want. Also....he is not judgmental when I have done stuff like give myself micro-trims or cut my own bangs. He just takes excellent care of my hair!! I will follow him wherever he goes. Highly recommend!!

Tony has been cutting my hair for a few years now. He does a great job with my haircut even though it's not the easiest head of hair to cut! Aside from making us look good, Tony is easy to talk to, he's funny, and has interesting stories to share. Overall, I'm a big fan, enjoy my visits with him, and recommend him highly.

Tony is absolutely AMAZING. He has incredible intuition about hair - the length, texture, color, and overall look for both men and women. His precision is remarkable - true artistry, which is no doubt related to his masterful abilities as a super skilled baker and cook. If you watch him work a pastry knife, you can see pretty quickly how that skill translates to absolute perfection with hair cuts. For colors too, I have dark hair and am the sort of wash and go (but look professional for work) sort of gal. After years of coloring my hair with the best stylists in San Francisco and Boston, Tony was the first and ONLY person to work that color so that it looked great even after 7 weeks. Of course, it is time to go back and touch it up, but it doesn't look terrible the way it tends to when you have dark hair and are usually sporting a skunk look for a little while! He managed to color it in a way that fades into the change of color so that it doesn't make me feel bad about how it looks between colors. So it's all GOOD news - feel MOST fabulous when I leave Tony's hands and still feel pretty darn great until it's time to see him again! I'm not sure how he managed to do that - it's like he's a magician :) Apart from all of this, I can't underscore enough that going to the salon - especially when you have to because your hair colors just needs it - wasn't usually my favorite thing because just color takes so much time. But Tony is sweet, engaging, kind, and just a really interesting person to talk to. I feel like I leave every conversation having learned something new about the world while smiling for almost the entire time I am in that chair. I feel so very lucky to get on Tony's calendar and will walk out of the salon feeling great about myself - hair, heart, and mind! And that's coming from a person who is usually pretty quiet about anything related to how I look - not a thing I like to really think or talk about. If you are someone who LOVES to get your hair done, you are in for the best cut/ color your life!

Tony has been doing my hair for the last 3 years! I moved from the UK and was worried about finding a hairdresser who'd understand what I wanted! Tony got it right first time and every time because he listens to what you want and then discusses your options and advises you on what will work! I've now referred 4 other friends! And I was a referral from one of his previous clients! He's a diamond!

This man is BRILLANT. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, you will absolutely be AMAZED! And, he is a super nice guy! Soo glad that he has his own spot!
