Great food court there’s more than enough space for people to eat. The lady who took my order was rude she was trying to rush me into my Philly cheesesteak. It was still worth the wait. Whenever I come back to Las Vegas, I’m stopping there at the Rio to get me another Philly cheesesteak. #vangoughpicasso

Tips From A Bellman

Google
One of my coworkers asked me if I had come here yet and did a review about a month ago and I hadn't. So the other day I finally made it in and had a $10 Comp from the Rio , so why not. We both go to Pop's a few times a year and a few other places too. I got the Cheesesteak with provolone cheese and added roasted peppers and no onions. I had to wait a few minutes for the bread that was baking in the oven. No problem , fresh bread , yes. Well , I got it home and it looked pretty good. The bread tasted pretty good , but the meat was a little plain tasting. Good thing I got the roasted peppers to add some flavor to it. As I was eating it and it was getting cooler the taste got worse. As others have said it reminds you of steakem's and this was after eating less than half of it. I did finish eating it , but I was not very happy with the sandwich. They also sell a chicken version , but I can't see it being any better than this one. I can't recommend this place and probably won't try anything else there since this is their signature sandwich it should be the best thing on the menu.

The hoagie was excellent. Great roll, fresh veggies, savory steak and cheese. The fact that you cannot order at the counter, but have to use a kiosk or scan a QR code, is pretty lame to start with. The fact that the interface the QR code takes you to is unintuitive and janky—starts to sour your meal before you even complete your order. In the end it works—but it’s not a good experience, and it certainly does not speed up the process. The managers that think eliminating a human (while ordering) will net them a a few extra basis points of profitability are fools. The workers making the sandwiches are great, and they did a great job. But next time I’ll find a place that hires humans to take your order as well.

The young lady taking our order was friendly and professional. Our order was quickly ready. The steak and cheese was great but the veggie was overly oily leaking through the paper and on to the table. The veggie tasted good but was so oily!

Google
Absolutely essential for Vegas! Your service is consistently excellent, and I'm grateful for it. As someone from the East Coast, I can truly savor the authentic taste of Philly that you provide. It's high time we see more East Coast eateries making their mark in Vegas!

Actually, the BEST thing about my experience at Tony Luke's Rio Hotel, Las Vegas, was the service! I came to (RUSHED to) this spot after a show that put me arriving just prior to it closing. The crew of two was in processof shutting down, but after pleading with them that this Philly born guy HAD to have a cheesesteak hoagie, they agreed to squeeze in my request! Huge thanks to the crew, and my sandwich did not disappoint 🥰

Google
I was craving a cheesesteak so I went here. Waited 45 minutes and paid 26 for the smallest cheesesteak I have ever seen in my life and a drink. Im still giving 3 stars because the roll was good, they applied the whiz the right way, and had long hots.

Google
A really average sandwich. Expensive for what you get. Service was hella slow. I ordered from the kiosks located around the area took about 40 minutes to get my order. Was about $23 for a Philly combo with tip. Tasted fine but cheese wasn't fully melted. You can do better at something elsewhere.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh made on the spot bread. Service was fair and they are not busy when we went at 11:30am. No ambience as it's a food hall. Each sandwich with tax and tip is about $18. So not cheap. What I would like to see improvement is donate the 1 inch bread that they cut off (so every sandwich is exact in length) to the shelters instead of dumping the extra bits into the trash bin. That's so much waste everyday and it could have helped the shelters if they donate instead of throwing away food. Do better and be more sustainable in your brand and help out the community.

Yelp
Maybe the casino should Luke to add an Emmy's, a Grammy's, and an Oscar's... Tony Luke's is a Philadelphia concept that may largely consist of franchises and certainly tends to be placed at captive dining sorts of areas (casinos, stadiums, airports). This location is in the Canteen Food Hall of the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and has remained open since the whole concept debuted about a year ago. I finally decided to check them out after the Rio gave me some food & beverage credit to use via their Rio Rewards program. Rather than waiting in line for the cashier, I went to a kiosk that services the whole food hall and made my order and customizations there. Payment is via a card reader, and the Rio players card is supported and fairly straightforward to use. My order took a few minutes to get ready only because there were a few people ahead of me in line. I know people tend to flock to the cheesesteaks, but I have had a history of experiencing bland sandwiches when I've gone that route. Instead, I went for the Roast Pork Italian ($15.00) with broccoli rabe, sharp provolone, and additional roasted sweet peppers ($0 fee for all of those). The sandwich came out hot enough that it lasted the drive home to Henderson. I dug in promptly once I got back, and it was still warm. The bread is soft, the roast pork comes in reasonably thin slices, and the broccoli rabe is a good pairing that retains enough crunchy character. The flavors might actually be slightly too strong, thanks to the sharp provolone (note: a potentially viable option on a cheesesteak) and the roasted sweet peppers which I found surprisingly spicy. I wouldn't mind having another roast pork sandwich in particular from Tony Luke's. It's the first time I've had this particular regional sandwich, and some intense flavors aside, it was good.

Yelp
I was underwhelmed by my stop at Tony Luke's. I had to go to the Rio box office. I looked at the area where the wonderful buffet had been and looked at the replacement--so sad and disappointing. On my way to leave for a play nearby, I stopped for dinner at Luke's. There are three ways to order--if there's someone at the register, you can order with them; above the register, a cardboard sign with a QR code hangs. You can scan the QR and place your order that way; finally, you can order at one of two ordering panels on the casino side of the food hall. There was a person at the register working with something on the floor. I asked him if I could order from him and he said he'd take my order. He would not win any congeniality award. After ordering, I went to pay using Apple Pay. Like many such terminals, you can't pay until you do the tip thing. I selected the amount I wanted, paid, and then was given a paper printout of my order to sign. Use CARE here. The sheet they give you get has a blank for tip and then the total line. If you're not careful, you may tip twice. As one of those poeple who is getting very tired of the tipping explosion, I'm getting to the point that I have no trouble pressing the no tip option. Just be aware of this. The sheet they give you has a spot you sign to make the purchase "official" I guess. Most Apple Pays don't require signing. I had not seen the sign Pick Up Here because I was in a different spot. I took a seat and waited for my name to be called. When it wasn't, I got up and went to the other side and saw the pick up sign. I watched as the cook made a couple of cheesestaeks. He puts a frozen rectangular shaped slab of pressed beef about 1/4 inch thick on the grill. After the grill has heated enough, he breaks down the slab with a spatula. For me, he put a long slice of provolone on the grill, put the meat on top, and then placed it in the bun. Another employee, a very pleasant woman, wrapped the sandwich and hande dit to me. The thing about this is it's the same thing I do to make cheesesteaks at home only instead of a rectangle, my frozen beef comes in an oval. Two of these in a pan, some heat, and I can break it apart and then stir it around to cook the beef. I use more provolone but that's my preference. For $17.69 with tip and tax, I can make four sandwiches at home not counting the cost of the rolls and it would be as good or better than Tony's. I sat and ate my sandwich. I had opted for some fried onions. There were a few, but they didn't add to the sandwich. This is a definitely a one and done place. It's good Tony stayed in South Philly or he may have ended up in the Roundhouse when it was used.

Yelp
Got a Philly cheese steak and it was Bland and no flavor.. I would try other food spots there.

Yelp
This place is a machine with pre measured portions cooked to order so every sandwich is just perfect. I came after both WNBA playoff games trying the cheesesteak first and then the roast pork. Both were authentic and a bargain meal at under $20 with tax and tip. Different employees both nights were all super nice.

Yelp
Who says you have to go to Philadelphia for an authentic cheesesteak? Tony Luke's has finally brought these award - winning sandwiches to the West Coast. Located in the Canteen Hall Of the Rio Hotel. These cheesesteak sandwiches are worth the hype. I ordered a cheesesteak with provolone ($13) and it was so delicious. I almost ordered another one. Sandwich was a good size, wait was not bad, and the cashier was friendly and pleasant. It's in the hotel food court so seating was not too bad. I recommend if you're into cheesesteaks
google avatar

Yelp
This one is located in the Rio food court (where the buffet used to be). I only ate there once and it was pretty good. I had the cheese steak. It was pretty good and not too expensive. I do wish, however, that they had French fries, but that's just me. They do have chips and you can get a cup for a drink at the soda fountain station. I thought the bread for the cheese steak was very good along with the meat. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm here.

Yelp
What an excellent addition to our city! I hope the rio stays open just for this sandwich spot! The must have is the Italian roast pork with the spinach and not the rabe. But it's your preference. The aggressive flavors of the sharp provolone with the garlicky spinach and juicy pork combine to make something truly special. We got a cheesesteak too because science. It was delicious as well and better and more authentic than anything you could get out here. The young man that took care of us was friendly and knowledgeable. We need more Tony Luke's in town at more convenient locations for locals! Will be back for sure though.

Yelp
There are so many food halls popping up in Vegas, I haven't really had a chance to explore. I was craving cheesesteak the other night so I figured I'd try Tony Luke's at Canteen Food Hall inside Rio. I got my sandwich with onions, both wiz and provolone - which some people may not agree with but hey - this is how I prefer mine. I really liked it - the meat was tender and juicy and that bread was nice and crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. As you can see, size was not an issue - the prices are standard for Vegas - inside a hotel/resort. No, I don't think I paid too much for what I got. My sandwich was pretty big and it had a lot of meat and cheese in it. Whether we like it or not, It's now *normal* to pay an average of $15 for a sandwich. I would definitely go back. Maybe add mushrooms and peppers to my cheesesteak next round. What would make this cheesesteak 5 stars for me? Fattier meat - which most people probably don't want. So, I will take it as it is. P.S. The people working the stall were so nice!

Yelp
Greatly appreciate they are open late NYE. The apathy by staff is palpable. I ordered a sandwich, but after watching someone cough while prepping food, I am in search of another place.

Yelp
I am on a mission to gain weight this trip, and I am understanding 100% that Vegas meals will be somewhat expensive. At the Rio's basic restaurant, a burger was over $20. I plan to blow my budget on fancy-ish restaurants, so I walked over to the Cantern, where prices are a little more reasonable. I decided on this fine establishment. It is what it is. Cheesesteaks, chips, and a few other selections. $20 for a combo, and for a QSR place, the staff was pretty friendly. Yay on them for that, as opposed to treating this like "just a job." My cheesesteak was full of meat and cheese, so it delivered on its promise. The meat tasted fresher than most cheesesteak restaurants NOT in Philadelphia. My only request....season the meat a little more. While not totally bland, once you got through the cheese, flavor was sometimes lost. Overall, for what it is and for a first meal (lunch) off the airplane, not bad

Yelp
Stayed at the Rio 3 times after they remodeled and always wanted to try their foodhall style cheesesteaks. Finally did and got their standard cheesesteak with provolone and onion. It was pretty plain and dry. Didn't have much flavor, but at least I had points to cover it.

Yelp
Waited over an hour. it was busy I guess that's OK it was a Saturday lunch. I got the text to come up for my name literally within the same minute. I come up the young black kid told me that my order was given away. I was there within a minute.i ask the Mexican cook guy what happened he says he doesn't speak english. place is a joke. more like tony pukes.

Yelp
Delicious "Hoagie" cheese steak sandwich + a tropical flavor Coke (I'm not aware if this is available in the OC) + tip for a total of $22.00. That's a deal in LV. The bread is exceptional. Hoagie is made fresh to order, ready in about 5 minutes. Rio's new food court also has ramen, sushi, and hamburgers. While you are here, catch the Comedy Cellar 7:30 or 9:30 show. $35.00 for 90 minutes of nonstop fun from 4-5 awesome comedians.

Yelp
After going around the food court all places look inviting but husband and I agreed to split a Philly cheesesteak and ended up at Tony Luke's. Great disappointment, they were out of bell peppers for the sandwich, the grilled onions were non existent, cheese was not melted all the way and the meat was dry and like warm at best. Oh may I add that it took way too long to prepare and there was no one else ahead of after us. We grabbed some waffle seasoned fries from across the way and that was basically our best part of our lunch.
google avatar

Jigs T.

Yelp
Got excited with an opportunity to have something a little different for the day. Unfortunately the cheesesteaks missed the mark. Understaffed. He was alone, didn't have a cashier, so he couldn't take cash...order from the "QR code". People were waiting in line, didn't know that was the thing they needed to do, until he was available to answer their questions, after cooking an order. Food: The bread was ok, pretty warm with good texture...that would be the best part. It tasted like the meat was cooked without seasoning and just relied on the cheese, that I guess wasn't mixed well enough to incorporate it into the meat. Idk. I've never had Tony Luke's...was the person who had no help sticking to the formula? With the price I guess I was expecting higher quality & better taste. Ambiance is good, it's part of the football with great style & decor to give you the "street food" feel. They did a great job.
google avatar

Will M.

Yelp
Extremely clean! Polite and efficient staff manning it. The bread is nice and soft and the meat cooked to perfection with big portions making it worth the price, which is not that bad for being in a casino.

Larry W.

Yelp
I finally got near the Rio at lunch time and wanted to try a cheesecake as I tried to order they told me no steak available what a way to run a business next time I will go to POPS
google avatar

Corey B.

Yelp
Got the Philly cheesesteak is was alright. It tasted like a steak'um and looked like the same thing. No seasoning on the beef, the bread was good not too thick or thin. Good crust and soft on the inside. Those guys Pies is much better! Inside is nice clean Rio is trying to revamp the interior.
google avatar

Carlos M.

Yelp
Had the traditional steak sandwich. Bread was fresh and great. Steak and cheese was also good. The employees are super nice and that's always positive for a business. People on Yelp who are complaining are just your typical complainers! Listen it's not a cheesesteak from the corner shop in Philadelphia. It's fast food in the casino and the price is good and the product is good. Check it out for yourself.

Yelp
I wrote a review when I first went to the place many months ago and it was phenomenal. However I went today and this was what the staff and cooks were doing and I am so upset with this place. I will tell everybody about We always go in and order a cheesesteak american cheese, light mayo, green peppers, fried onions, mushrooms, two of them And because we work in a medical field they always give us a 10% discount includes a drink... so then we were told that this discount was discontinued but yet were the people that come and save your lives. All you have to do is ask for a military discount. It's the same discount. And the bill came to like $33. I can post a copy of the receipt. The young tall cubby kid working at the register, was too busy carrying on with all the other workers to pay attention and I had to tell the kid three different times my order over and over because he was too worried about talking about what they're doing after work as he's ringing me up After I paid for the sandwiches, he then proceeded to just look at me and I said oh are you gonna give me the cups? And he proceeded to say "I'm sorry what are you talking about we charge for drinks" I explained to him that all of us in the medical field. There's a group of us that come we can clearly go to many other places and take our business which we are probably gonna do now that they always give us. The drinks included with our meal and I looked at my phone and I said we were just there last week and this is what they charged us and it included a drink which was $33 for two sandwiches. The boy charged me an additional $9.97 for two drinks. But the top off is once I got my food and I was walking from getting the drink, (I hope to God they look at the camera and see it, It was today approximately 4:41 PM) The Asian Guy that was the cook was stuffing his face with food around the corner from the grill and he had so much in his mouth he couldn't even chew it right. It look like a cow chomping away And he gloves on and turned around to the grill started cooking somebody else's food and NEVER WASH HIS HANDS OR CHANGED HIS GLOVES!!! This is definitely health department violation and I definitely sure this is against company policy!! I am so upset not knowing if the gloves he had one because he didn't put new gloves on when he started cooking my food as you can clearly stand there and see it was he eating before cooking my food and did not change his gloves I am so disgusted with this place. I'm calling to Rio. I'm file official complaint and I'm also calling to health department to do a surprise visit. When you work in the emergency medical services (like we do) and you see this type of stuff go on we have a direct contact to call into the health department and trust me we did. We called and told them exactly what we saw in a description of the short little Asian Guy . I cannot believe what I seen guys if you go to this restaurant before even begin your food stand here watch him and ask him to change your gloves first. Also, I'm gonna complain about the pricing because I have paid in the past (and have proof, as we get a receipt and turn it in for reimbursement while we're working so we make copies of it so I have my) I asked the employee if I could speak to a manager for the food court area and they said "oh they're all on break right now". "They won't be back for an hour" How convenient is that .... well that's OK cause now I'm gonna blast this on Google and we're gonna notify the health department of what we saw and I'm calling to Rio management and complaining Absolutely disgusting and I hope to God they look at the video and they see what's going on with that small little Asian guy and white tall lady older late 40s with black hair a little bit of red dye to it look like with the baseball cap on with a clip holding her hair up. She was standing right next to shoving food in his mouth , absolutely disgusting Do not eat there !!!!!!

Yelp
I just want to give a special shoutout to the staff from Valentine's Day night. They were getting ready to close for the day and I REALLY needed a water and fountain drink for the night. The gentleman staff worker gave both free of charge and with a smile on his face. I truly appreciated it and it deserved a review just for the exceptional customer service just minutes before closing. THANK YOU TONY LUKE'S!!!!
google avatar

Richard W.

Yelp
Cheesesteak was real good, temperature needs to be hotter though . But, it was really tasty and authentic! Roll was spot on South Philly! I'll come back In a few weeks or so once the kinks are worked out. I'd recommend checking it out.
google avatar

Rafa N.

Yelp
Worst cheese steak sandwich that I've ever eaten. The over salting was the first clue, then having the excess oil seep through the bun and the wrapper was the closer. Even if it didn't look like the Exxon Valdez and resemble an oil spill, the salt would have been enough to kill the algae in my pool for a year. Threw out after the first bite. Spend your money elsewhere folks.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
We liked the food hall, definitely a different layout and vibe from the typical food court. It's on the west end of the casino. Ordered the roast pork Italian with provolone and broccoli rabe. Great roll, generous portion of juicy, flavorful pork. The broccoli rabe really cuts thru the richness of the pork and offers a great textural contrast. Very solid effort. Will go again.
google avatar

Richard R.

Yelp
It was OK but only for a captive audience here in the Rio. Nothing like the real deal Philly Cheesesteaks. $13 for a sandwich was an OK price but food prep/quality was only fair.
google avatar

Deb L.

Yelp
As a native South Philadelphian, I was disappointed with the offerings at the new shop in the Rio. First off, the prices are outrageous. It was $33 for two sandwiches and to upgrade both to a meal (chips and a soda) totaled $47!!! Are you kidding me? $14 for soda and chips?? Come on guys really? Now for the sandwich. I was looking forward to a good cheesesteak and couldn't wait to get there. As I watched the guy slap the meat on the grill, I couldn't help but notice its was Steakumm! Um that's not how we roll in South Philly. So that was out I could do that at home. So I opted for a chicken Italian wit. I watched another guy slap my provolone onto the grill, along side of the chopped up broccoli rabe, then proceed to pile everything onto the cheese and put it in the roll! WTF? One the cheese goes on not under and two who chops up broccoli rabe??? I mean are you guys trying to save money or something? The last straw was the sliced cherry peppers. Come on everyone knows you eat em whole! A bite of sangwich a bite of pepper. The sandwich itself was mediocre, been there done that won't go back. This place has nothing on the original but I guess if you don't know you don't know. Keep the steakumm, there's better cheesesteaks in Vegas.

Yelp
At the time of my review there was 34 reviews with an average of 3,4 stars. I don't know if they had a slow start or the food court setting turns some people off but I thought it was pretty good. In fact better than a 3.4 for sure. 28- 29 years ago the Rio was the place here for locals on this side of town for sure. Obviously times and things change but this new ownership group is really starting to whip the Rio back into shape. Yes they have a ways to go but it is really coming along nicely. So they took out the World Carnival buffet and put in a this new food court and this is where Tony Luke's has a new home in Las Vegas. First off the bread is really good that they tell me is flown in. I went with a regular cheese steak with fried onions, mushrooms and wiz. Those that know of Tony Luke's from all the way from Philly will have to let us know if it is as good. I can tell you that you will pay a premium at the Rio. Two cheesesteak combos came to roughly 54 dollars. Other than that it was worth a try. The food court itself is small but has several good looking offerings.

Yelp
I am an East Coaster here for work... Every other east coast chain out here SUCKS... our bread cannot be recreated out here... that being said my first question was... Is this real Philadelphia bread? They said yes and gave me a wiz wit that had me feeling like I was at the Original Tony Lukes in Philly
google avatar

Yelp
I was hoping for something special but was kinda underwhelmed. I feel like your local Jersey Mike's turns out basically the same product and quality without the tourist trap $20 sandwich price. Why the cashier kiosk asks for a tip when I'm the one standing there ordering and have to walk up to get my own food adds insult to injury.

C C.

Yelp
Stood at the counter for approximately 8 minutes, with no acknowledgement from the two employees working. Finally another person came up and said that they had a large carry out order that they were working on and would not be taking any orders for about an hour. I will never return!

Yelp
Best Cheesesteak I've had in Las Vegas. I have eaten a ton of them. Here and elsewhere. I got Provolone, with. I will explain below why I felt this way and how things could be even better. 1. Their bread is great. Everything you would want from a French Roll. 2. I do not like overcooked meat. Their meat is cooked low and slow. It's treated with precision and that's my preference. If you prefer piping hot meat that needs a few minutes to cool down before it burns your mouth this place is not for you. 3. It is not over seasoned. Now if your preference is the overcooked meat this will also be an issue. I prefer adding my own salt and pepper to my food. I do not like it when the chef decides how much salt and pepper should be in there. Could there be any improvements? Yes. There should be different onions based on preference. Raw or grilled. The grilled onions should have more caramelization. The onions in my sandwich felt like it was in between. if anything I wouldn't mind an option for Well done onions. Fantastic experience, and highly recommended if your preferences meet the qualifications I listed above. Why no picture? Well unfortunately I was on really low battery and my S.O. would kill me if my phone went to 0 for pictures. I will definitely take pictures when the Roast Pork sandwich is available!

Yelp
$40 bucks for 2 substandard sandwiches? Charly's Steakeary is 10x better quality. And $7 for a fountain soda and a bag of chips? Someone needs to take a look at pricing and quality control.

Yelp
I heard that the Rio had a new food court called the Canteen. I went to check it out and decided to try Tony Luke's sandwich place. There's seating available, and everything was pretty orderly and neat. Staff was okay. I ordered the Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwich. It was a bit price-y, and all you get is the sandwich. But....it was probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Tender, deliciously flavored chicken, somewhere between shredded and chunky. So actually five stars for the sandwich! Would have been great if the price was not so high, or a small side vegetable like celery came with it.

Yelp
The good. The bad. The ugly (actually no ugly going on here). This is pretty spot on to any Tony Luke's you visit back on the east coast. My one and only complaint is the size of the sandwich you get for the price. Visited weekday evening. Staff were pleasant. Located inside of the Rio which seems to be getting a little much needed attention since new ownership. The food hall where Tony Luke's is located is a nice new addition to the property replacing the old buffet. Will visit again

Yelp
Excellent! Had the Steak with provolone. Kids took a bite of mine (they ordered elsewhere in the food court) and said it was heavenly. Will be back.

Yelp
Definitely not like Tony Luke's in Philly. Since moving out to Las Vegas, we miss a good sandwich on a good roll. I always got the pork and broccoli rabe with sharp provolone sandwich, so that's what I ordered here at the Las Vegas location. The pork was some sort of sliced lunch meat, the broccoli rabe didn't taste right. (I think it was plain broccoli)The roll we expected it not to be like Philly. My question is if the pork was lunch meat, what did they use for au jus? Sandwich with water or soda for 4 ppl $80. My SIL got a cheesesteak and saw the cook put frozen steakums on grill. Won't go back. They'll stay in business because they're in the food court in a casino so tourists will continue to go. But, TONY LUKE! You need to get out to Vegas! Your reputation is on the line. And the cashier has no clue what she was doing!

Yelp
I went to Tony Luke's last night and had dinner with some friends. I have to say we were all very happy. The food was extremely good. For all the naysayers who say it doesn't taste exactly like home, go back home. I am from Philly, and I am happy Tony Luke's opened in Las Vegas, my hometown for the last 25 years. When visiting Las Vegas, try Tony Luke's; you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Quite possibly the worst cheesesteak I've ever had. Not good at all. I ate a quarter of it and threw it away. The steak was not chopped up like you'd typically find on a cheesesteak. It also had a weird taste and consistency. No flavor, and had cold cheese barely melted on it.

Yelp
Roast pork sandwich was good - however, don't chop up the broccoli rabe to save money - It's not the way they do it in South Philly. Agree with another Yelp comment that charging $50 for two sandwiches, a drink and chips is ridiculous! Service was very good otherwise. Hope TL Jr. is aware of these comments and makes some changes.

Yelp
Finally they touched down here in vegas and they did not disappoint. It's located in the cantina area of Rio casino. Park in west side entrance and it's right there.

Yelp
I went to Tony Luke's at the new Canteen Food Hall in the Rio casino/hotel just west off the strip on Flamingo. Easy free parking at the Carnival World Garage of Vally View just north of Flamingo. I got there at 11:00 am. I ordered my cheese steak with onions and provolone. Just like I have done many times in South Philly. The sandwich was the same size , quality and price. It took 10 minutes from order to pick up. FANTASTIC. Next week I will get the pork with provolone and broccoli rabb. Best cheese steaks west of South Philly. The staff said Tony Luke himself was here last week to make sure everything was the same as in South Philly. I'll be a weekly customer!!!

Yelp
Went to try this place out. Being from south jersey,I've frequented the original Tony Lukes. Well let's just say, this place has a lot of catching up to do. I watched as cook threw steakums on the griddle, oh boy, Loving Bride and I both ordered the Italian Roast Beef, not even close, bread fell apart, meat was not chopped, could barely taste the extra sharp provolone, broccoli rabe was kinda mashed in the middle of sandwich, only sold sandwiches, drinks and chips, had to go to another venue for fries. Oh well,we came we tried,we won't be back

Yelp
THIS IS NOT Tony Luke's! No Amoroso Bread and the cooks are not from Philly! No seasoning on the steak! Looks like Steakum's again! No fries, Lays chips instead of Wise chips!

Yelp
A solid steak. Meat is good, pretty authentic. Bread was good, but not Amorosso's, which is fine, because how would you get it to Vegas? They make their own bread and it's a close facsimile. My criticism are that the grille was not hot enough (you can see them cooking it). It could tell because it took a while to make it it wasn't sizzling, like in Philly. I also got an errant two pieces of broccoli Raab, and hardly any onions, even though I ordered onions. The biggest problem was that they put the cheese wiz at the bottom of the roll with the steak on top, which means you only get cheese in the lower bites, and even then, half of it soaks into the roll. This is an amateur mistake. The wiz should be poured on top when served, so it soaks into the middle of the meat, so each bite has cheese. Had to take a star off for that. Overall, pretty good, just minor issues.

Yelp
Tried again a week later, in true Rocky Balboa form, they got hit, and got right back up. They have the pork now, was amazing as always. Tried a whiz pepper onion cheesesteak, much better flavor this week. Staff from the cashier to the cook were friendly to interact with. I'll be hitting this place up anytime I'm in the area.

Yelp
The young lady taking our order was friendly and professional. Our order was quickly ready. The steak and cheese was great but the veggie was overly oily leaking through the paper and on to the table. The veggie tasted good but was so oily!
