The Best Halal Restaurants In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"The famous Tony Luke’s has officially converted their Brooklyn location into a fully halal establishment for the first time. You’ll find a selection of beef or chicken cheesesteaks with an assortment of gooey cheeses you can pick from like provolone, American, or the classic Whiz. And make sure to order some of their fresh, crispy fries that are seriously some of the best ones we’ve ever had." - jiniya azad, sameen choudhry

I was having issues finding a food option for eats at the airport. Ultimately decided on this one since they had one veggie option. I also opted out of cheese. And it was pretty good. I paid around $17 which is still expensive but not as expensive as eating at other place that might not be good. (I also had my own potato chips. Highly recommend having one lol) I walked all the way from the Gate A area because I had 3h layover. And the walk was pretty okay. It seems this Gate F area might be newer? Or just less people coming through? Lots of airport workers are hanging out and I liked the relaxed vibe.

Google
OMG, on of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The three cheese Cheesesteak - American, provolone, and cheese whiz. If you are at the Philly airport, head over to terminal F immediately!!🤤

DE JA

Google
First and last time getting a hoagie from here. They laid single slices of turkey across the hoagie..it was more toppings than meat… I used my own sauce and hot peppers to add to it because it was incredibly thin and bland. A $15 hoagie w/ barely any meat is insane!! I honestly wish I could’ve returned it, but I didn’t have time after I already waited for them to remake it for using the wrong cheese the first time.

David Blumberg

Google
Best of the best cheesesteaks in the Philly Airport! Located Terminal F in the food court. Manager Mustafa was great! So delicious - Liscio roll makes a big difference - perfection!

Google
Get to this concourse when you land, Walk there and get a Cheese steak. This made the 4 hour layover worth it. Even just the plain fries were also exceptional. Best Airport food decision I ever made. If you have the time, stop here and get anything... it will be worth it.

Rayme Long

Google
The single worst cheesecake I have ever had. The amount of grease coming off it was disgusting. The cashier advised me against the cheese whiz. I chose provolone instead and I am wondering where it is. I can't see the cheese or taste it. The meat tastes wierd also. No flavor. I bet McDonalds could make a better cheesesteak.

TKizzle

Google
Worst cheesesteak EVER! Read a review on the plane while heading to Philly. Author said best Airport cheesesteak was Tony Luke's. NOT. Meat was dry as a desert, cheese wasn't even noticable. And, the dry ass meat had ZERO seasoning. Packets of salt and pepper couldn't revive this dead ass sandwich. Don't waste time or money.

Luis Chirino

Google
I would not recommend this place!! First time eating here and the food has zero flavor! The piece of wrapping paper I accidentally ingested had more flavor than the sandwich! Also, I was surprised to see that several of the toppings I was told that came with the sandwich wound up being extra charges. Stay away....

Yelp
On our way back to Toronto, I wound up stranded at the Philadelphia airport for hours on end. At least, I thought, I should treat myself to an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. I hadn't heard of Tony Luke's but they seemed to be well regarded and were serving up cheesesteaks, so I made my way into the terminal's food court. I wound up keeping it simple by grabbing a cheesesteak with cheese whiz, along with some sautéed veggies. The sandwich was ready within minutes, so off to a nearby table I went. It's a heck of a sandwich. I initially unwrapped it and was surprised by the lack of grease. But then I discovered it had been wrapped twice, and underneath that first layer was a layer that was now basically translucent. Nice. I also didn't notice any cheese but my first bite revealed a veritable lake of cheese whiz on the bottom. But the star here is the plentiful steak, which is super tender and very beefy. It's so good. I was full until I got home many hours later, so Tony Luke's turned out to be a very good decision indeed.

Yelp
Can I tell you how much I love Tony Luke's? I've spent a lot of time in Philly and I've been to all the places. I've even evolved as a cheesesteak eater over time to the point where I now understand that there are certain cheesesteaks that call for Wiz (like Pat's) and some that call for provolone (like Jim's). Still, as much as I enjoy a good cheesesteak, my heart belongs to Philly Italian Pork, with sharp provolone and garlic studded broccoli rabe. Tony Luke makes a great one. Mind you, not my all time favorite, but good enough that I was willing to traverse to the far side of the airport just for a taste while I was in town on a layover. Now my expectations were modest. It's the airport. Not the original location. I get it. And I read the reviews. I was prepared to wait. I steeled myself for the 3% employee wage and benefit fee. Still, this was a staggering disappointment of a sandwich. If I wasn't opposed to food waste, I would have tossed it. But I soldiered through, and ate the whole thing full of regret and dismay. The dismay that some folks passing through might try the venerable Tony Luke's and think this was even a shadow of the real thing. Flavors. Textures. Temperatures. Everything was off. $17 lighter and full of carbs and grease, I hoofed it back to my gate vowing not to return. However much Tony Luke's is getting for having an outpost at the airport, it's not worth it. It's severely tarnishing the brand. I would implore them to either cut bait or work like hell to get this place up to the excellent standards that made them local legends.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this spot has low ratings, but the 8am crew here today are great!! Hubby got a breakfast sandwich and I had to test the cheesesteak! Neither disappointed! There's plenty of seating in the food court and ambiance this Sunday morning was calm and quiet. Definitely a go to the next time we're in Terminal F in PHL!
google avatar

Christian G.

Yelp
Im extremely baffled by the fact that the best Philly cheesesteak I've had is in LA, this place is said to be the best in Philly, how ???
google avatar

Ivy S.

Yelp
WTH?!? 3% wage and benefit fee that the employees do not receive?!? Airport prices are overrated!! The food was cooked made to order so expect to wait at least 15 minutes for your sandwich to be made, when it's your turn. Customer service was great! There are tables and chairs right in front so that you can sit and wait for your number to be called. The ambiance is, dang it, I'm hungry, and my flight is 3 hours--better grab a hot sandwich and have them wrap it twice so the juices don't leak everywhere!
google avatar

Jon K.

Yelp
Reddit recommended this place as the best Philly cheesesteak at the PHI airport...but man, it was disgusting, and I'm not sure I'll ever eat a cheesesteak again. I opted for the "pizza cheesesteak" as I wanted to try something a little different, but this cheesesteak had no redeeming value. The bread was soft and soggy. The steak and sauce looked disgusting and tasted bad. I would advise everyone to just go to Geno's at the food court and get something more serviceable than this.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
6 minute wait in line to order. 21 minute wait for food Ordered sandwich with some items deleted. They gave me sandwich with those deleted items on it. 4 more minutes to remake sandwich correctly. Wrapper is all greasy. Cheesesteak was average at best. $1.99 for sweet peppers? Really??
google avatar

William G.

Yelp
Located in terminal F, Philadelphia International Airport The order was fast, the wait was not, about 10-13 minutes wait. I was beginning to regret my decision until I tasted the oh so good cheesy spinach with ample egg. The bread tasted of slight garlic, fresh, worth the wait. Note: terminal F is a shuttle or walk from the main gates. Not a bad choice if your flight takes you here.

Yelp
Had to get an Philly Cheesesteak while in Philadelphia - even if we were only here for a short layover. Tony Luke's had the best reviews for our options in the Philadelphia Airport, so we headed over to Terminal F. The Philly Cheesesteak lived up to its expectations - delicious! Had to try it with the Cheez Whiz - I had no idea what to expect, but it's 100% worth it and the way to go. No wonder so many people love it this way. Also tried one with the American cheese, and it just wasn't as good. I was surprised by how much meat they put inside as well. For the food alone, it would've gotten a 5 star. For an airport restaurant, the food was great. That being said, service wasn't the greatest. Cashier wasn't too familiar with what she was doing, but she was friendly. Prices were also a bit high. Granted you are in an airport, but on top of the cost of the sandwich, they charge you an extra $4/sandwich for peppers and mushrooms. They also add on a mandatory 3% charge for employee wages and benefits - it's not that much, but they do not tell you they're charging you for it until you see the receipt after you pay. Overall, a good stop to grab a delicious Philly Cheesesteak while at the Philadelphia Airport.

Yelp
I don't think it made me sick but there was very little flavor. I was so hopeful to be able to experience a Philly cheesesteak on my layover and I should have gone with anything else in the food court. I added peppers and mushrooms and my sandwich and fries came to $26! Insane for the cardboard I received. The service was great and they were kind in the couple of moments I interacted with them. This place feels like a mall food court but lesser quality. There's no ambiance.

Steve M.

Yelp
I got a cheese steak with mushrooms and onions. Came to $17.90. I taped my card and touched no tip on the screen. as I put $2 in the tip jar. The girl touched the screen on her side and when my receipt came out it said $20.31 adding a $2.41 tip. When I said something she said the screen didn't like what I touched. Then it took almost 10 minutes for her to give it back. Beware. I'm adding a picture of her.

Yelp
I waited over 20 minutes. Other orders being mine were being called. Finally I went up and they realized they forgot one of mine while the other sat getting cold. The server that I asked didn't seem overly apologetic. They made my turkey hoagie with mayo when I originally ordered it with no mayo. The server and one of the cooks seemed bothered that they had to make it over. Now Turning into just under 30 min. Finally. Glad I wasn't in a hurry. As for taste, turkey was so so. The cheesesteak was pretty good. Very tasty.
google avatar

Ceelee N.

Yelp
Food was savory. Chicken steak hoagie was good and the pizza Philly was also good. Large portions. Service was prompt and pleasant. Not much to expect from an airport eatery but local was clean.

Yelp
Do not waste your $17 bucks!!! I don't normally write reviews, but I'm at the Philadelphia airport, terminal F and I just had possibly the worst sandwich I've ever had in my life! Heed my warning and do not order an Italian sub from this place!! I don't know who this Tony Luke character is, but he should be ashamed-- It was basically a little bit of ham with some cheese and way too much bread, a few raw onions and limp peppers and absolutely no flavor - yuck! Maybe they know how to do Philly cheesesteaks (although it looks like they get pretty bad reviews in general) but they really need take this poor excuse of a sandwich off the menu! Not to belabor the point, but the sandwich was so bad I threw the second half away and bought an entirely new one from somewhere else just to get the taste out of my mouth--totally worth the extra money! The cashier was very sweet and offered to make me another one, but I politely declined. I tried to tell her it was not her fault, I just needed to register my complaint. I hope she didn't feel too bad!!

Sapphire M.

Yelp
Tasty and filling breakfast sandwiches! I've only ordered a few times when catching flights out of the F terminal and found Tony Luke's to be a convenient option with fast service. You can't go wrong with a regular egg and cheese sandwich, but I decided to try the spinach, egg, and cheese this morning. The spinach was sautéed, and added on top instead of being mixed with the eggs -still good, it just gets a little messy this way. They use a melted cheese, I guess like what you get on a Philly cheese steak. It's so good! Something so simple to bring so much happiness. Loved it. A lot of food places in the Phl Airport are overpriced, but this little counter was a good value.
google avatar

Yelp
One must have one or more Philly cheese steaks in Philly Friends recommended Tony Lukes' and now we recommend this restaurant Very messy 10 napkin delight w mushrooms, peppers, cheese,... A competitor nearby offered cheese steaks, but through an outrageous ordering process that we in no mood to abide Just learned that Tony Luke's has tax problems and property is renamed Tony and ....

Yelp
Great cheesesteak, hands down. First things first - not to sound snobby, but if you read any reviews here from MOSTLY anyone who doesn't or hasn't lived in the PA/NJ/NY tri-state area, take them with a tremendous grain of salt. Anyone calling this a "Cheesesteak Sandwich" has clearly never had an authentic Philly cheesesteak, and I don't give their reviews much weight, and neither should you. (Born and raised in South Jersey for 30+ years, so yes, I know a good cheesesteak) That being said... Is this the best cheesesteak I've ever had? No. I'll let the Geno's and Pat's people fight it out. Was it a darn good cheesesteak, especially in an airport? Heck yes! Freshly made, well-seasoned, tender steak, with onions, mushrooms and authentically "wit wiz" (or "wiz wit", YMMV), and only took about 5 minutes to be ready... in an airport... what more can you ask for??? Every time I connect through Philly I try to make sure I have enough layover time to grab a Tony Luke's cheesesteak (except for that one time I had to eat it on the plane - sorry seatmate!). Don't listen to the haters on here. They wouldn't know a good cheesesteak if it slapped them in the face.

Yelp
I was in the mood for a roast pork sandwich, and it was between Genos Steaks or Tony Luke's. Service wasn't that great and I was the only one in line and the only one there that ordered while I waited for my food. The pork seemed a little bit old and was way too salty. But damn was it delicious. The cheese and the rabe really went well with this salty pork. Sandwich was still a decent size and was very filling. Half of the sandwich made it back home and my wife and son each took a couple bites and enjoyed it.

Erick W.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast sandwich for the air port, lots of bang for your buck loaded up with bacon and eggs and it's got plenty flavor definitely would recommend!

Tyler P.

Yelp
My first ever Philly cheesesteak. Customer service was speedy and friendly, food was delicious. This place did amazing! I give a ton of credit to the management A+ experience!!

Yelp
Drove into AC late Friday/early Saturday and was starving! This restaurant was one of the few that was still delivering after 2am. We ordered and were told it would b e 45-60mins before delivery which was fine gave us time to get settled and take showers. However, after an 90mins still wasn't there so had to call and still wait an additional 15-20mins before the driver arrived. We ordered 20 buffalo wings and steak and cheese which was enough for the 4 of us. However, the wings come just fried and than you have to add the sauce onto them yourself. The steak and cheese had no flavor and the blue cheese was sour. The best part of the meal was honestly the mozzarella sticks. It was enough to be nourished but wouldn't purposely return.
google avatar

Jeff D.

Yelp
Good Cheese Steak, I got it with roasted peppers and Wiz! The service was quick and and friendly!

Yelp
When in Philly, eat a cheesesteak. Right? We had a long layover at PHL recently when flying home from NYC, so Nate and I sat down to get a bite to eat at Tony Luke's. We ordered a cheesesteak with whiz, a side of fries, and a Diet Pepsi. The food was fresh and hot, which was great. The Diet Pepsi was actually a regular, which was unfortunate, but certainly not the worst thing that could ever happen. Plus I enjoyed the food so much I didn't really mind. The sandwich was pretty large and greasy, with a good amount of meat. I'm glad Nate and I split one. It was really flavorful and savory, with lots of gooey cheese and tender meat. The bread was soft but held up to the meat well. The fries were super hot and fresh, seasoned well. Just a really great fast food experience - I'd stop here again! The employee who took our order was polite, and the one who called our name was even nicer.
google avatar

Anil G.

Yelp
Not sure why this joint had such bad reviews. It was damn good, especially for an airport restaurant! Delicious cheesesteak and cheese fries. Wait was a bit long, but the guy at the counter gave everyone a heads up before ordering.
google avatar

Carl W.

Yelp
This is the best choice in the food court. $15 turkey hoagie was plenty for my wife and I to split. Plenty of meat. And when tip screen came up cashier ignored and just rang it up without forcing me to select a tip. Bonus star for that one!
google avatar

Lindsay H.

Yelp
Quick and friendly service at this food court staple in F Terminal. Our cheesesteaks (we both ordered original with meat and whiz) were cooked fresh, wrapped well, and were hot and steamy upon chowing down. There was not a ton of meat or whiz on the sandwich and some chewy portions of meat. Amazing bread and super fresh fries (think-McDonald's fries on the off chance that they're actually fresh). The bread was the star to the point of us googling if we can order the bread for delivery at home. Don't expect a mind-blowing sandwich but it is a tasty option if you can't venture off into the city. We would try the roast pork sandwich next time.
google avatar

L L.

Yelp
3-star cheesesteak. It's at the airport so +1 star for not taking advantage and exploiting the ability to price gouge and serve 1-star food like everywhere else. I'm from Philly, I expected total crap food at the airport so I was definitely pleasantly surprised. If you're expecting a Food Network creation at an airport, um grow up. Prices were way reasonable for the usual extorted airport costs. I try to never eat airport food but some flight schedules make it unavoidable. In this case I was traveling with a child on American at lunch time and needed to make sure we ate. Cheesesteak only had one wad of inedible gristle I had to spit out. Fries were made to look like fresh cut but tasted like instant mashed on the inside. Idk how they achieve the potato skin look on something that tastes reconstituted but this feat has been accomplished. The fries were thrown out. 4 stars because my expectations were so low that throwing out half a meal still wasn't nearly as awful as I expected.
google avatar

Brendon N.

Yelp
I think giving this a 2 star rating is generous. Got the Philly cheesesteak with wiz. The bread was good, the wiz was good, but the steak was very lackluster. It had zero seasoning on it, and did not taste fresh at all. I had high hopes for this place being even a fraction as good as a real Tony Luke's, but unfortunately, it is not.
google avatar

Sharon T.

Yelp
Here at the F terminal it is hike coming from terminal C, by passing all the food court with Geno's and other hoagie joints. So I headed home to terminal f. Low and. behold I had my chance for a philly steak! Coming here u will need to take the F train shuttle to get here quicker or walk 10 min. There stony Luke's was... memories of going to the original spot in downtown Philly on numerous occasions.. hoping to bring me back down memory lane and order my usual. There was a a bit of people waiting and somewhat slow in the kitchen. But I was the first in line so I was excited that I wouldn't have to wait too long. The cashier tried her best in understanding my English. But it seemed she struggled because she mistook my order. Sadly i later found this out when my steaks arrived and only saw two steaks wit wiz in the bag. I ordered three and was told I need to go pay to get my third one. Since I was pressed for time I didn't have time to reorder to get the third. She also didn't get the root beer i asked for an got me a sierra mist. When it was time to eat I was hoping to get the satisfaction of the steak wit wiz and onion and mushroom flavors bursting in my mouth only to find out I got the plain steak wit wiz that was wrongly labelled. My kids didn't want to eat the cheese steak I chowed threw and didn't want to give me a bite of the wrong steak they grabbed. Watching my kids completely satisfied with my cheesesteak was priceless. They were overjoyed and I knew I could not take the cheesesteak away from them.. All in all.. I wish I could've tasted my steak wit wiz along with the mushrooms and onions. But the flavors of having just the steak wit wiz was ultimately still satisfying. The service has room for improvement...

Yelp
Ordered a cheesesteak as it comes. 13.99 on the menu. Bill was over 20.00. I asked why it was wrong. Apparently when he asks if you'd like peppers onions salt and pepper, those are up charges. I had him remove everything that wasn't included and was still overcharged for $1.50 for cheese. Not coming back, I don't even want the sandwich now.
google avatar

Alan J.

Yelp
Came in at 8:45am and asked for a cheesesteak and fries very nicely. The chef in the back said 'no'. I walked away and then decided I was going to ask again! The manager smiled at me and then had them make me what I wanted! I'm at Tony Luke's! Why wouldn't I want a steak, local Philadelphian here! Anyways, delicious as always, first timer to Tony Luke's. Got the hoagie steak with ketchup added and bbq chipotle fries. Didn't get a picture of the steak but would Reccomend to a friend. Not the best steak, but for airport food, 10/10
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
Had to try a Philly Cheese while in Philly! Service at counter not good. Guys working in back seemed like good guys. Guy in front on his phone non stop. Sandwich had no flavor. Definitely a Chicago Beef girl so maybe my expectations are high!

George M.

Yelp
After a 3-minute wait at an empty counter at the airport the guy working the grill asked what I wanted... Asked for a pizza cheesesteak with salt and vinegar fries "We don't have salt and vinegar..." "No problem... I'll just take plain fries..." Another wait... Guy working the grill whispers something to the other guy working... he comes out to tell me they don't have any marinara... so, no pizza cheesesteak... He seemed to be genuinely surprised that I didnt want any of the other things they may or may not have had on their menu! So, no review on the food... service was slow, but it's Philly and the airport... so, you take what you get... Or in this case, don't get!

Yelp
Salty, ill prepared crap. I ordered the legendary pork sandwich end it was in fact legendary - legendary as in one of the worst salt sandwiches I have ever had. On top of that I ordered broccoli Rabe. It had so little broccoli Rabe that it was not even visible. I've seen more parsley on potato salad. The french fries were cold mushy it tasted like frozen turd. It was so bad I made the trip back and returned the entire meal. That is when the manager kicked in as well as the grill team. They accepted responsibility and made me a new sandwich. I have eaten enough meals to know when it is corporates fault and not those on the ground. The food was not fresh and the recipe is overly salty. Cold fries is on the staff. They are a rare treat and should be served hot an crisp. I eat oatmeal in the morning. The second sandwich was just as bad. It's the ingredients - terrible. The fries were hot and crispy this time but again way to salty. Note to Tony Luke - you can add salt, you can't take it off. Also the broccoli rabe was tasteless and mushy. You got an extra star for the staff and store manager. The food is crap.
google avatar

AnnaMarie A.

Yelp
Probably the worst service I've ever received at an airport - which I guess doesn't say too much. The workers didn't speak a bit of English, which I'm usually very sensitive and understanding to. I placed my order, and for the next 30 minutes watched as the eight people behind me got their food before I did. When I asked for a refund, the manager had to come out and tell me that they do not offer refunds. At this point, my flight was already boarding. Conveniently, my food came out 30 seconds later. I don't even care if the food was good or not, I was so upset with the service that I know for a fact I will never go back.

Shana M.

Yelp
My fiancé and I got the Philly cheesesteaks with provolone cheese. The meat had zero seasoning and was dry. The bread was soggy and the sandwich was overall lacking flavor. Save your money and go elsewhere.
google avatar

Phillip L.

Yelp
Airport food is usually rushed and over priced, but there are some items that are worth it. I'd argue that Philadelphia cheese steak is one of them. Now, I am no fan of PHL airport. I don't really enjoy the shuttle services between terminals, but if you find yourself in Terminal F do yourself a favor and make your airport experience a little more enjoyable. Grab a cheese steak? Yes it is a little more $, and yes there may be a wait, but if you have the time and the taste buds go for it. At least you won't be hungry on your travels.

Adam J.

Yelp
Holy crap, over $20 for a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and a water. Bland, nothing special. I am in Philadelphia and thought this company would have some type delicious recipe. Very disappointing. I am giving it two stars because I haven't felt any food poisoning symptoms kick in....yet

Average Joe ..

Yelp
I recently visited Tony Luke's Cheesesteaks at the Philadelphia airport Terminal F. Being a location in an airport food court I wasn't expecting much, however I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and juiciness of the steak. The seasoning was spot on, and I especially enjoyed trying Whiz for the first time. The service was fast and friendly, which made my experience even better. However, I felt that the amount of ingredients was a bit light. The roll was good but lacked the amount of Steak and Whiz to do it and the price justice. Overall, I liked Tony Luke's Cheesesteaks for its delicious steak, friendly service, and convenient location at the airport. Probably a 3.5 star rating but that isn't possible on Yelp and the need for more of the good stuff made the decision to round down instead of up.

Yelp
breakfast review. first the bad coffee is terrible no pepper no jelly jam or butter fot toast good omelet hash browns come on Tony, get your condiment on.

Yelp
You can imagine the hunger I was facing as my flight was canceled from 10am to 2:49! So looking around the food court i debates what I could eat. I usually go with chipotle but decided to try something new. Tony Luke's Im sure we have all seen on tv so I took the leap. There isn't to much to choose from steak, chicken, veggies, roast beef or pork. Once you pick that base then you can choose how to customize your sandwich. I ordered the hoagie which is lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickles (I ordered it without pickles.) I also got a side of fries and a drink. The food took some time which I can appreciate as I like fresh cooked food which this definitely was. The fries were crispy, the sandwich was some of the most delicious cheesesteak I have had. The Mayo, veggies just made the sandwich. The bread was still crusty so it didn't get soft and mushy. All in all it's airport food so I paid $17+ but it filled me, satisfied me and because of that it gets my 5 stars

Stephanie M S.

Yelp
Too much fat, no condiments included, and not much cheese. Supposedly rated number 1 in Philly. It was very dry, and cost extra for onions and peppers. Who makes a cheesesteak without onions and peppers? Wasted $14.46

Yelp
Not sure if I'm more disappointed in the sandwich or the staff specifically the young lady at the cash register. I know it was she rude but she was dismissive Sandwich struggle to be just OK. As for egg ham and cheese was told very rudely brought a ham I ask what do you recommend Harris but I don't eat pork make a choice Total disappointment. My only hope is that the lunch support at this counter for food in the terminal F is much better much friendlier much more attentive to the customer clearly the morning crew doesn't care Lastly I have to have a water bottle filled I was told that young lady could not fill the bottle but she could give me water and a cup I think he brought a cup of water after a short wait my bad but short band when I get the water it was yellow Since I'm getting on a plane and I don't know what yellow water means I didn't drink it Would not recommend this restaurant at this location. I have eaten at Tony Luke's in other areas of the city and always had a fabulous experience this is disappointing

Yelp
Had to try a Philly Steak with cheese. Opted for American cheese onions, and peppers. Great sandwich. Pretty large too. The service was friendly and speedy.

Yelp
Look people, if youz think your gonna get the best cheese steak in Philly at Terminal F, then you deserve to be in Terminal F. Just appreciate that if youz was too stoopid to find a good cheesesteak among the million or so places OUTSIDE the airport, you can still pretend.

Yelp
Tony Luke's was good! I wasn't disappointed! I got the cheesesteak with onions and cheese whiz. This was my first time having Tony Luke's. I understand why it is mentioned in the category for Best Philly cheesesteak. Tony Luke's is in the F terminal. Luckily you can walk between terminals to get there. Definitely is worth trying out Tony Luke's if are trying to find one of the best Philly cheesesteaks!

Yelp
It's like Pat's and Geno's had a baby and named it Tony. It's chopped steak, which I prefer, on a substantial roll. God forbid the bread be 3 minutes past stale, because it would render this sandwich inedible. I don't understand the local obsession with "crab fries" because if I'm getting something with "crab" in the name, I want actual crab meat. The dusting of crab boil spice/Old Bay was actually pretty good. The fries were very hot and crispy. The dusting of the Old Bay was generous. As far as the location goes: it's in an airport. Don't expect much atmosphere. Except for the people watching while waiting for your number to be called out. Would I eat here again? In a wit onions and Whiz heartbeat.

Yelp
I did not find that Tony Luke's was a great representation of Philly Cheesesteak, steak is frozen there is not much of it, sandwiches are small and I just felt like it lacked the flavor of Jim's. I recommend despite the flashy ads to skip Tony Luke's and go to the places outside of the airport.

Yelp
My usual airport indulgence: Tony Luke's Terminal F at Philadelphia Airport. The staff here is actually very pleasant contrary to the general atmosphere of this airports staff. Are usually opt for the same sandwich beef, Liz and provolone or American. Left off them mushrooms this time round them up today and two sweet peppers. Fast, hot, served with a smile. TIP: if you're traveling with more than one person, have them cut the sandwiches two were four slices which is more than enough. Unless you are a professional eater, this sandwich can easily get the best of you.TIP 2: This is the best place to charge your phone at Philadelphia airport. One of the only places you can find a working outlet.
