Great for groups. Awesome view of downtown with a community feel. Tony's patios rock! The view is divine. Everyone welcomed me and kept the good vibes flowing. An amazing family good folks with big hearts.

Great alternative to the Montrose district, especially when you don't want to search for a parking spot! Easy parking, outdoor patio/deck with bar, pool table, frequent drag shows, dancers, interesting historical archives and GREAT pours. Strong drinks at frugal prices. As you can see, there are several reasons to give this place a try. Come after sunset and get a wonderful view of the skyline. The best reason to visit is the owner, Tony. He is a stand-up guy that truly gives back and supports the community.

Was taking care of some one that like to drink and there is a guy there that puch my friend at the bar very prepotent said that he knows the owner that he have 30 years of been there. for me was the first time and I, was working taking care of this transgender person and for me the place is good for those that love to drink and see Cubans and Venezuelans strippers Im A very young person still and for me I don't like the place the atmosphere is to tense the owner or the management have to watch and take care new costumers with respect and courtesy that no one because have signiority disrespect Houston police should be hired there to be more controlled the security guys try the best owner need to hire Houston police to have your business secure and safe for all your costumerd and employees also I suggest that.

I love Tony's because I always feel welcome. The bartenders are the best, and the show is amazing. I would recommended Tony's any day, to anyone.

let me start with this .. I have been here countless times n every time I’m in here I do nun but support the workers and sprinkle bills across the floor . this specific bartender needs to taught some etiquette . the way he spoke to me was beyond disrespectful & utterly unprofessional . being an industry professional as well, I would *NEVER* say what he said to a client (me) — ever. I normally wouldn’t go out my way to post a negative review on any business but I was just so taken aback by his harsh words. one of my fav spots .. now making me feel uncomfortable , in a space that usually makes me feel like I can be me and be safe . Tony y’all never miss it’s always been a 5 star experience here for frasc me .. pls make this right

Wasn’t very happy with my experience tonight, I came in by myself to enjoy the show and waited over seven minutes for a drink, which I never received. I politely walked out. The bartenders are too consumed with gossiping and trying to be the star of the show, they are missing out on good and new business.. maybe need to hire more bartenders for the overflow just a thought.

On Sunday, November 19, at dawn on Monday, November 20, 2023, I went with my friends to have a nice time at Tonys, but at the moment the dancers were applauded, a person from the audience continued applauding and shouting non-stop and This bothered the presenter Regina and she began to hit the client abruptly, this bothered the entire public because we are not going to Tonys to see violence from a person who works there. I hope the owners become aware and we will not see Regina working again. because it is violent and aggressive

Came here after pride and the ambiance was great! Wasn't too loud and wasn't too packed either. There wasn't a cover charge to get in!! Drinks were yummy and strong and the drag performances were great!

I've been coming to this place from out of town when I visit my sister for at least three years. She has as much fun as I do. Always a good time always plenty of security for the parking lot. A amazing view of the skyline at night. that makes beautiful pictures from their decks, amazing shows and beautiful strippers who are kind. The building is old but you don't even mind you have such a good time. I made friends with a couple of the strippers and not in the proverbial way. They're both gay and straight and one that I really connected with introduced me to his girlfriend as we left for the night. Between Christmas and New Year's the last time I went my sister was sick and not able to go with me and he actually remembers us from the 2 to 3 times a year I get to go and said to let her know he wished she was not sick and couldn't wait to see her next time And he made it. I've got to give props to this place highly recommend if you want to have a good time and you are gay, trans gay friendly, and just wanna have a good time and it doesn't cost a fortune!

My favorite go go dancer/gay strip club, whatever you call it in all of Texas so far. Hottest male dancers, decent drag shows, and good drinks. Patio area is nice but if you're going to the show make sure you reserve a seat early so you can see the show. Place gets crowded very quickly. No private rooms for lap dances unfortunately but the dancers are good giving table dances. They could also use a stripper pole as well but I'm being nitpicky.

Nice bartenders, homey feel, heavy pours. It's always fun to come on Wednesday and Sunday nights for drag performances and the amateur strip contest. One of the first gay bars that I visited in Houston and it's my favorite of all

I love going here with my friends it's always a great time! The community is funny af but also respectful. I'm straight but the jokes never cross the line it's always good laughs.

Good time with nice people. Last week, I was in Houston for only one night. I had never been to Houston before and was happy to find this bar. I was there Monday night between 6-8 or so, so non-peak hours. I enjoyed some drinks by myself but enjoyed company and casual conversation with the bar tender and other patrons, all of who were extremely cordial and welcoming. The bar tender in particular was a very sweet and enjoyable to talk to, and always made sure you had a drink when you needed one. If I ever come to Houston again, I will definitely return here.

The atmosphere is relaxed but fun. There is something for everyone here. Gay, straight, or married or single. All races and sexes are included. Ann Marie Gale is a wonderful hostess and makes everyone feel welcome. Been to this place a few times, and I've enjoyed every time. The owner is kind, the dancers are entertaining and energetic. Something for everyone if you're open to this type of party. Be careful with the ATM machine, it has been reported that cards have been copied.

We love the shows and the drinks are always tasty. Tony is such a sweetheart,always has a smile on his face. It's a perfect boys night out/ girls night/ any night!

Been here a couple times. It's a strip club, all of the dancers are absolutely beautiful. For the most part the bartenders are busy, yet friendly. Got to remember these people deal with drinks and aholes all night. Drinks are affordable, but the dancers really steal the show.

Every night at Tony's is a good night. Did you know that they're open every day of the year? I had the honor of meeting Tony on one of the slower nights during Harvey, and learned that his vision was to have a place for the community to come together for a drink, no matter what day of the year. On one of those rare, slow nights, you'll get to personally know the bartenders and Tony, and have a fun time doing shooters and dancing to the jukebox. On most nights, you'll have your wretched fun with all the fabulous dancers, who will be wearing almost nothing and shaking their bootay thing trying to earn some $ (for college tuition?). If you're prudish and can't handle a little friendly flirting, you probably won't like it here. There is also a nice little patio space, for when you need a little break from the craziness inside, and enjoy a beautiful view of downtown Houston while lazily conversing with your friends.

I enjoy coming to Tonys. It's a good time and a nice place to relax and enjoy the shows. The dancers usually change a bit every few months and most of them are very friendly (obviously), but some have been known to have some ego issues. I think the staff does a great job reminding dancers who the clients are and what kind of establishment it is. Drinks are affordable and the staff is friendly. The hosts do a really great job and Ann Marie engages the audience really well and keeps their attention so things don't get stale. Lots of talent and good views. The only thing I wish they had was more space on the inside...sometimes it can get very packed and it can take away from the enjoyment of the evening. Their stage remodel turned out really nice, but took away space that they desperately need. However, still a great establishment and you can always expect a good time.

Is this a Gay bar? Too many straight females here for the guys. Good looking guys but they only show attention to the infestation of females. WE are just extra. Get them out of here. Dance for US! I'd gladly tip if one of the guys would bypass a female and show me attention. Tony I've know you for years. Fix this. No girlfriends allowed. Geez. Luv u tho.. Ps as we speak some "healthy" looking girl just scooted me out of the way. Sigh... I miss true GAY bars

Fuck yeah. This place is one warm cuddly hug -- from a half-naked, greased up, hard bodied man. Hey yoooo. My colleague and I were barhopping around town, hitting up all the gay hot beds (pun intended), and of all the places, Tony's pulled out all the stops. No lines, no cover, no divas -- well, there were a few queens, but that's just part of the show -- and no parking fees. Drinks were cheap, the fellas were more than friendly, and best of all, they loved sporting our Yelp sweatbands on stage. I was so impressed, I had to pull out some cash. Yes, it's a dive. Don't expect lasers or fog machines. Just cold drinks, some good music of all genres, cheap lap dances, and a kickin' patio.

I am a visitor from another city and I just want to say that Tony's Corner Pocket is the most inviting and friendly bar/club that I've been to in several years! The employees were so accommodating that I felt as if I was part of the staff! Everyone welcomed me and kept the good vibes flowing. Shots, and drinks were very affordable and the other patrons were also very nice! I will consider this bar my home-base every time I visit Houston. Bartender Chris Mac-Donald will be in my top 4 for as long as it takes to find another Bartender as knowledgeable and friendly as he was to me! I cannot wait to come back to Houston as it has been ages since I've felt so welcomed. Come by and experience the welcoming family vibes of Tony's Corner Pocket! You won't be disappointed! I don't have enough exemplary things to say about McDonald. In the 1950's he would have been described as "Top drawer"; he is a true master of his craft and is second to none in my opinion. McDonalds abilities far supersede those of any bartender known to me in this day and age. He has the perilous ability to concoct the most magical libations from the most rudimentary spirits and mixers. Only the greatest of craftsmen can be inspired to achieve his level of paragon. Outstanding admiration is given every time I am graced with his service. Outside of being an exceptional bartender, I would rank him as first class in service. Just because you serve dose not mean you're ruled by those you serve. McDonald transcends the conventional aspects of service to deliver a sound and resolute experience to any patron who he has the pleasure to be in his grace and presence. If I could bestow a trophy exemplifying the well deserved accolades; The trophy would dwarf that of national monuments built to honour great men. Jordan, the bar manager also deserves equitable footing. When called upon there is no task too petty or great for which he will tackle steadfast and resolute. In the face of great adversity he acts with honour and serves at the pleasure of his trade with grace, determination and above all else dignity. Tony's Corner Pocket is a home to ALL and exceptional performances and lavations.

I moved here about six months ago from the northeast. Tony's was the first bar I visited and I enjoyed myself. I visited twice before. Fast forward to coronavirus era. Bars finally reopen. I visit, enter, attempt to go into the main bar/performance area and there a line (capacity/ social distancing rules). At the top of the line is an old man massaging the shoulders of every guy he allowed inside. It was my turn to enter. He attempts to massage my shoulder and I gently kept his hand away with my hand and said "please don't do that". Guy turns out to be Tony, the owner and was apparently offended. Kicked me out of the bar. Fuck that guy.

Great Downtown Bar open 7 days a week! Offering great drinks, relaxed day environment, fun evening entertainment shows by talented Drag Queens & professional/amateur strippers, patio seating with a beautiful view of Downtown Houston, and friendly staff members. Tony the owner has the biggest heart by giving back to the community and participates in local charities throughout the year. Thank you TCP for always hosting a fun night out!

I am new to the neighborhood and decided to give the neighborhood bar a try. I ordered my drink of choice and the bartender Andy shook an empty bottle and said "this is what we have". When I tried to order another drink eyes were rolled. I was cracked in half. I was like "wow Bethany wow". A drink was had and Andy's attitude was as awful as can be.

Who doesn't love male strippers? This is the go to place in Houston for male strippers. It is usually amateur men just trying to make a few bucks on the side. Nothing sleezy here... just fun times. Drinks are crazy cheap and strong. $20 will take you far with two drinks and a few dollar bills in the thongs.

This was my first time here & I loved it. The drinks were really good! The staff is very welcoming. The dancers obviously look GREAT & know how to entertain. Ann Marie ( apologies if I spelled it wrong) is a great host! She has a great and fun vibe to her. She welcomes the newbies. The view from the patio is a plus. I'm a straight female & I loved it here. I like to be respectful of the dancers. They're all gorgeous! There's no way, you wouldn't have a good time here.

I had a wonderful time! The owner, Tony greeted and welcomed us with open arms. They are all inclusive and they support PUT communtiy.

This has to be one of Houston's hidden gems. My partner and were a little skeptical coming to this place, but we are glad we did. This place is awesome and the atmosphere is very laid back. The place is clean and the drinks are amazing. The bartender there, Chris, was awesome. He was friendly, respectful and courteous. He gave great drink recommendations. The drinks this guy made were some of the best I have ever had, and that is says my something given the fact I have traveled extensively. He introduced to this drink/shot that tastes exactly like a Starbucks coffee. The only downside is there were no dancers and there was one bartender for the whole place. The bartender that was there made up that. We will definitely be adding this place to our regular list of places to have a drink. We will be back very soon.

Ok, so me and my friends are regulars here. How do you tell if you're a regular? If you know most of the dancers' names and even have nicknames for some of them (there's Leech, and Ratchet, and there's Flat Ass -- just to name a few), then you're probably a regular. And if the bartender (our favorite is Josh, who mans the back bar) has a special drink he makes just for you and your friends, then you're probably a regular. Fridays and Saturdays are when they're busiest and when most of the dancers are out. Thursdays and Sundays are more relaxed, so if you don't like competing with others for the dancers' attention then those two days are your best bet. Like others have mentioned, if you're a prude or if dive bars aren't your thing, then Tony's is probably not for you. Otherwise, this is a great hangout just to chill at or to stare at half-naked boys. There's a few regular creepsters who I always stare down and make slashing gestures at when they try to approach us, but otherwise everyone is friendly and just looking to have a good time. And the boys always try to make sure you're having fun, so make sure you tip them because they work hard (har har). Just please don't play pool on the pool table -- that's not what it's there for! (pet peeve of mine, sorry).

What a great surprise to find Tony's Corner Pocket. Andy the bartender pour me the perfect martini, filled to the rim and super chilled. Great neighborhood friendly bar. Even Tony was there with a great smile and welcome.

This is one of those spots that after being there for an hour you realize that you are having a great time, but don't remember deciding that this would be the choice. So...the drinks are very strong and they are cheap. The crowd is...ummm...interesting. On my first visit some months ago, I found myself literally sitting next to a mature gentleman that had an oxygen bottle and was playing Angry Birds on his tablet. I have also seen the 'hipsters' of the community stroll through having a blast. There is a drag show with Ann-Marie and she is a hoot. However, Tony's is pretty much known for their strippers - some of which can be a little rough around the edges, but aren't most strippers (gay or straight)? A good thing that I like about Tony's is that you can go there and not feel like you are a) being hustled by the strippers or b) being hit on by others. The view of downtown Houston from the upstairs patio is breathtaking and a great place to enjoy a drink away from the boys on stage. This is a low-key kinda spot and everyone is welcome - gay, straight, male, female or in between. It is just a good time.

If you like your bars just a little on the trashy side, this place is for you. I dig it. But I like a little raunch now and then. And it's the other side of the spectrum from the gay bars in Montrose, of which I only like one. This place is friendly. In Montrose you either get uppity or creepy. I don't get that feeling from staff or patrons here, aside from maybe one or two of the dancers. It's a wild Saturday night out. Lots of fun, unless you're an uppity prude. And if you are, I'm sure Montrose will welcome you with open arms... I mean catty stares.

Sat down at a table up front at 9pm and when then dancers were about to perform the drag queen ran us off. Said the table was reserved with no signage after dropping money on drinks and shots I will not be back. Bye Tony!

Too divey and cheap of a bar for my taste, unfortunately. Sketchy area but close enough to Midtown. On the other hand: good prices, free parking. The patio outside is decent though.

Hung out with my *Judy(gay best friend). This place was so much fun. We laughed and threw singles and got drunk on well liquor. Okay the place is on Dallas St between Montrose and I45. I recommend GPSing it because going from my apartment it sent me through downtown. So the parking lot is 5 bucks. The front lot is paved. Additional parking is dirt. It's cool if it's not wet out. If you get there early like I did there is street parking available if you can find it. Okay so when you walk in. The front door is hard to find. You walk through a fence then to a patio. Then the door is around the side. I'm sure someone will direct you. The inside isn't very glamorous. It's just an old montrose gay bar. With a bunch of gyrating strippers. They are very touchy; so do not get offended. I was a little at first when my ass was grabbed. So I just grabbed his and kept dancing. Lol So ladies. If you just want to go to a club without all the men hounding you. This is the spot. And the gays love buying drinks and telling you you're fabulous! They might grab your ass but it's a cool trade off. I'll be back. Oh, and bring singles to tip the dancers. And guys if you feel like you're sexy and want to test it. Amateur strippers definitely is the trend here. So wear cute underwear.

I loved this bar! The drinks are cheap and strong. The atmosphere is very electric. The bartenders were nice. The dancers are friendly. They walked around talking to the customers. If you want a good time and and some fun come to Tony's Corner Pocket. I will be back here when I visit Houston. The guys there were hot as well. no complaints. The music choices is on point.

My husband and I had a great time last Friday night. The bartenders were super friendly and the drinks were great. They had a dance competition that was a lot of fun. The outdoor patio view is out of control and the place overall had a great vibe. Looking forward to coming back!

This Bar is awesome! The price for drinks is reasonable and they had an event when we got there. Staff is friendly and the event hostess was hilarious. I had a great time and it's not cover to get in. This is the perfect place for a bachelorette party.

I went to TCP for the first time last night, and had a great time. The employees made themselves very available, and were super friendly. The owner greeted me at the door, and was so gracious all evening. His bartenders pour strong drinks so I felt like I was getting a great value, and his DJ was great to talk to. Looking forward to coming back here again! Thanks Tony!

Oh where oh where do I start?? Well, this is a very hole in the wall/divey bar and if you like that and the combination with strippers then this is your place. I was thoroughly shocked when I walked into this place and have to say I will never be back. The inside is dirty and nasty (I really don't want to know what is on the floor) and one of the polls was coming out of the ceiling as a guy was on it. Maybe it was me being a prude (I don't like strippers or strip clubs) but this was not my cup of tea. And although I did not like it the rest of my group had a blast and it seems so did all of the other patrons.

Loved it! So fun, so welcoming. Make sure you bring your dollars!! If you're a female going with your boys just an FYI they only have a unisex restroom - just because I know some girls are uncomfortable with the whole idea.

I was attacked by one of the strippers tonight . He said I bumped into him. He waited for me outside of the bar and wanted to fight me. Very aggressive. I called 911 and they took my report. The owner Tony came and apologized and said the guy worked with him for years and that it wouldn't happen again. So random and violent. But I support gay bars so hopefully they correct the issue.

I have been here a few times and the last time was a so so experience. This was a while ago and from what I have gathered the management has really stepped up and care about there customers. It is an experience to go here, so be prepared for a wild time!
