3/5 Stars: Great Entertainment, But the Vibe, Price, and Service Are a Letdown
I visited Tony's specifically to support a friend who was performing, and I must start by saying the entertainment was genuinely excellent—it was the absolute highlight of the evening. That, unfortunately, is where the positive experience ended.
The service was disappointingly slow all night. When it came to the menu, everything felt expensive for the quality, and the food itself was distinctly mediocre. The margaritas were no better, costing a steep $12 for a small glass. We even had to chase down the staff just to get chips and salsa, which, when they finally arrived, were disappointingly saltless.
Beyond the basic dining issues, the logistics were frustrating—parking was incredibly scarce, forcing me to park several blocks away and walk. Most critically, the general atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and I was disappointed by what appeared to be an anti-LGBT attitude.
While I appreciated the performer, the combination of high prices, mediocre food, slow service, and an unwelcoming environment means I will not be going back. Save your money unless the entertainment is absolutely worth the trouble.
