Food was AMAZING. Every thing was delicious especially the lemon pepper chicken wings. My husband and I came here on a Friday afternoon to enjoy our dinner and we left stuffed. The employees are friendly and polite. Definitely recommend.

First time customer. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Pizza freshly made and fresh ingredients. Cheese bread was delicious as well. Their homemade chocolate chip cookie was fresh, soft and buttery. Loved it and we will definitely be going back.

Fresh off the plane from L.A. to H-Town, linked up with my buddy for lunch and wow. 🤯 Ice cream 🍨 , Philly cheesesteak, pizza 🍕 , wings 🪽 , chocolate chip cookies 🍪 ... every bite was showing off. I’m picky with food, but the new chef? Different breed. Nothing but excellent food and excellent service. I've been back a few times, always high quality. Ask for Nick or Ozzy for their special! They'll take care of you. Yeah, I’ll be back again.

I forgot how good this pizza is 😮‍💨 highly recommend getting pesto! Cookies were BOMB btw. Greek Salad was really good too! Ordered pick up and my order was ready in 20mins!

I can truly say that Tony's Pizza and Grinders has the best pizza in town! I guess you can say I'm a regular customer that frequently visits this establishment to the point where the staff knows me on a first name basis. The Tony's Pride is what I usually order and it's nothing short of amazing! The staff is very friendly and always greets me a smile. If you're ever in the area, and want some authentic pizza, please be sure to give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

I'm surprised I don't see any recent reviews but this place is in our neighborhood. We love pizza and wings and decided to get a pick up order and WOW. Really good 3meat pizza. The cheese pull is crazy!! And can't forget the spicy buffalo wings. Really great will definitely recommend.

Hidden Gem. Family own restaurant and huge supporter of the military. I have been here a few times, walls decorated with the flags of all the branches of the military. Everything I have ordered has been great. Pizzas, cheese bread and grinders are my go to's. Love the different pizzas I've tried so far... Tony's pride - basically if a supreme and a meat lovers had an offspring Bacon cheeseburger- definitely reminded me of the name on every bite Mrs. Marie - time to add a little jalapeño spice The Mexicana - Yessir don't order if you can't take handle spice, because is topped with oodles of Serranos. Plain Cheese and pepperoni are great as well. Goes over real well with all my friend's kids that don't like toppings. If you go ask Tony of his story on why he is such a huge supporter of the military. They also have an app that earns points and for easy ordering.

The pizza taste like little ceaser pizza it wasn't worth 30 dollars that I spent the wings where good but very small and I was the only person there and they took 45 minutes DO NOT COME HERE

Best Damm pizza in Houston. I'm not from Texas. I'm from Los Angeles. Los Angeles is not known for great living or the best people but the food and weather is really good. This is the best pizza I have ever had. The restaurant is small but very patriotic with a good staff. Wait time is a little long, but it is way worth it for the food.

This is my first visit since the new management team has taken over. I want them to know that the calzone I had today and the turkey sandwich I had today were fantastic. Find the change in flavor. The taste of flavor and quality of the food is great and I will be back and I will tell my friends that there's a new management team and get by and see Tony's thanks a lot Your credit to the community

Consistently outstanding. The staff is friendly, they always remember us. The pizza and the calzones are so good. Usually cheese pizza from anywhere else is just average, but I will specifically go there for their cheese and to make my own slice. Their cheese pizza is top tier. Their pizza is on par with the best of the best in NYC. The ingredients are always fresh, the food is always hot. I tell everyone I know to go try them out.

This has got to be the best pizza in town!! They have halal options too which is great! The owners are super sweet too! It's truly a mom and pop shop and they make you feel so welcome!! I came here to grab a couple pepperoni pizzas for my family and really love the crispness of the crust. They're fast, friendly and have great fresh pizza. I love this little gem of a place in the neighborhood.

Family owned and operated by super kind and humble guys. Piece of advice- you can get any pizza by the slice and it's actually 2-large slices. The grinder had the most delicious bread known to man. Also, the sauce and toppings weren't overdone or overpowering. Absolute perfection at a super affordable price. We sort of, accidentally, ordered enough food for 5-6 people and it was under $60 with tip!

Don't have the heart for 3 stars. Casual place with a huge sign on the door about not being allowed to bring outside drinks in. Like alcohol? Or am I not allowed to bring my water in with me while I wait on my to go order? A tad bit overpriced for the size of pizza you get. I enjoyed it, the rest of my family did not care much for it but preferred it over all the chain pizza places.

I'm sad to say this but the quality has gone way down. I used to get pizza here and it was so delicious! Tasted like a real pizzeria. The pizza that came to me tonight was just like the local chain places that do not taste great. It was dry, lacked enough cheese, so disappointing. Won't be back.

Excellent Pizza Pies here!! Today I tried the Margarita pizza and my man Dior made it to perfection! Not just a great local pizza spot, great pizza period! If you're one to stray away from major chains like myself, this is a great option and you're supporting local business owners in your neighborhood!

It seems that with all the glowing reviews a simple sandwich would be easy. On Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2 pm I arrived at Tony's and a black guy took my order for small turkey grinder, no tomatoes, chips and can drink. I paid $7.81US and sat down to wait. I was the only customer. There was a heavy dark hair guy and a short hair blonde woman working the kitchen. 30 minutes later, no sandwich or chips. I announce "I had no more time and I had to leave. They can eat the meal." No one spoke to me during the wait time. It was like I wasn't there. They stood around a lot talking. I saw very little food preparations. I am out $7.81 and out good feelings for Tony's. Keep the money and lose the workers. I can't come back until I am convinced no one will spit in my sandwich. 30 Mins, only customer, three employees, no sandwich.

I walked in to order the Philly cheesesteak that was so awesome on my last visit. While there I said to myself- self order a slice of pizza. Well I got my slice of pizza and it was way bigger than a single slice of pizza from anywhere else. Did I say that it light and greaseless? If not I should have. It was so good and so much that I could not dive into my Philly Cheesteak. I took a picture of a slice of pizza- you must check out the crust around the sides - made to order. The crust on the outer edges simply shows that it was not part of another pizza but specifically made. Bedtime-- nighty night

We decided to give this place a try because our normal pizza joint was closed. Well I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the taste of the pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, supreme pizza, cheese bread, and Chicken Fettuccine. Large pepperoni pizza, the crust itself was really good, The sauce on the pizza was a fairly simple sauce, exactly what you want to see in well-made pizza. Small supreme pizza, still that great sauce and crust accompanied by some great toppings. 7/10 The cheese bread is slightly different than it sounds, it is basically a pizza that is loaded with cheese only. So if you love cheese this is sure to satisfy. 8/10 The chicken fettuccine had an excellent flavor and disappeared extremely fast. Served with toasted garlic bread. 7/10 Overall, a really awesome family run pizza joint. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Here is my review of the reviews. I would really like to believe the glowing reviews but then there are those that really hate the place. I do not see much of the in-between crowd. What this tells me, this place has the ability to produce a really good pizza. It also tells me I can never be sure if I will be one of the happy customers or one of those with legitimate complaints. That lack of trust is something I cannot get around. It is too bad since these guys are in my neighborhood and if i could rely on consistent good service and good product I would be a regular customer. If they can good it right some of the time, then they could, if they worked at it, get it right all of the time. Sorry Tony, I just cannot count on you. I guess I will just go back to Dan's. Gary in Bellavita Ok guys, I am back after my last review and I in fact ordered a pizza from Tony's. In fact, I did so a couple hours after my initial review. I have only to tell you that I should have stuck with my original inclination. But now I know why they will never come to my expectations. The operation is too far away from any form of artisan. The pizza ovens are those little affairs you see in the bars with a little conveyer belt in a short little oven. Nothing like the old brick ovens or at least the actual big hot ovens in other pizza places. The crust leaves a lot to be desired and the toppings are skimpy at best. So now it is final Tony's is not on my go to list. I am actually done with this review Oh by the way my heading says I am in California but that is so wrong. I am in fact in Tony's neighborhood. I will correct that now.

We were on this side of town for a concert and visited Tony's based on reviews here. We were pleasantly surprised (even with the great reviews)! I had an Italian grinder and my husband had a calzone. They were both sooo good. You can tell they use the best cheese...the kind that does a pull for yards and is just so tasty. The *housemade* dough and bread from my sandwich, was perhaps my favorite part. I'm seriously contemplating going back next week even though it's almost an hour away. The customer service was top notch and we really enjoyed chatting with the worker, who we found out was the owners' son.

Super good! I love the pizza here! It was our first time ordering pizza and we absolutely loved it!

I will say that they do have good pizza. My only issue is that the crust was a little too thin for my liking. They give you a ton of toppings which is great. The crust was really thin which made it really greasy. The service was great and the pepperoni and sausage pizza was good but not my personal favorite. I do recommend because I think it's a personal preference so try it.

Worst customer service ever! Called and spoke to Eddie to let him know that the order was wrong, asked to speak with a manager and was told that the managers didn't have time to speak with me. Nothing resolved. Will never order again

This place has really amazing pizza! We have tried many pizza places around here and they all seem to fall flat. The pizza was delicious! They didn't skimp on cheese or sauce and the crust was so soft and full of flavor! Really took me back to my childhood when pizza on a Saturday night and a movie really made the world great! They delivered quickly, the pizza was still hot and fresh and it was a good price! Definitely will order again!

All i have to say it's AMAZING!! We can here awhile ago and just wasn't really happy with the food so it was never on our list of options again, today we had a garage sale right by Tony's and just decided to grab something there... holy cow! We usually get the calzones and it not only looked so much better it tasted freaking amazing! Me and my husband were full but didn't want to stop eating it bc it was so good! I also want to add that the service was phenomenal, we felt welcomed and just a positive energy the moment we got there. Thank you Tony's for the amazing food and service. Will be coming back!

I've lived in Houston for about 5 years, and this is the best pizza I've had since moving here, at ANY price. The hot toasted sandwiches are delicious (and gigantic!) as well, but the pizza is the star of the show. They have ice cream as well that I've been meaning to try, it looks great but by the time I finish the pizza there's no room left! I'm very lucky to only live about a mile away, so we go for lunch at least 2-3 times a month.

The pizza was completely over baked. There was next to zero sauce on the pizza itself. I ordered jalapeño poppers, they gave me mozzarella sticks and those were absolutely trash. Breading was bland and didn't taste like anything, the cheese wasn't even warm. It's like they were pulled straight from the fridge. I definitely wouldn't ever come back to this place, and I recommend you don't as well.

Been living in the area for about five years. Finally decided to give it a shot and Man I wasn't disappointed. The pizza was amazing the customer service was A1. I still can't believe how big the one slices was and of course I couldn't leave without trying to two scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough.I came only but I will be bring my girlfriend next time.

Dear self, I'm disappointed you took this long to try this gem. Stopped by to try Tony's Pizza & Grinders today and could not speak more highly of the quality of pizza and sandwich (freshly baked bread) as well as the hospitality of the family who own the place. They could not be nicer.

Came here the other day for pizza it was movie night and my brother where hungry for pizza, I wish I would have done the review earlier I had the Sicilian 14" while I waited I also order a cannoli while I waited and I must say wow, the ambiance is good if you are stopping by to watch a game or just stopping by to get ice cream a must try!!

I liked what I saw in reviews and hubby wanted a sub so this place sounded in his style. It was busy and I will definitely order ahead next time, but it was worth it. Staff was working hard and friendly. The grinders as they call them were delicious!! The cheese bread is to die for. You don't need to get anything else but that. Yum, yum!!! Don't miss out on this neighborhood Pizza and sandwich shop!!! Journey was playing in the background, too!!!

We tried Tony's for the first time tonight after seeing some good reviews and after a recommendation from my nephew. It was every bit as delicious as I'd imagined. The hubby and I both went with grinders for our first visit; he had the Chicago steak and I had the Italian special. I loved,loved, LOVED the Italian special! It is stuffed full of my favorite combo of meats and veggies. The bread is really fresh and flaky on the outside but warm and soft on the inside. My hubby's Chicago steak was hot, crisp and flavorful. It was served flattened, sort of panini-like. The only thing I think it could have used more of was the garlic aioli but otherwise, it was a yummy sammy. The crew working there on Friday night was super friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely like to revisit and try some of the other items on the menu. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked really tempting!

This new neighbourhood joint has the best pizza in the Southbelt community, absolutely no greasiness that you receive from Jet's or even Dan's pizza. The pizza is fresh and delicious! We ordered the bbq chicken and supreme pizza; I only sampled the chicken pizza of course and loved how the chicken wasn't that gummy, chewy, fake chicken. Full of flavor and not saturated in grease or butter. However, the last time we came we ordered the buffalo or alfedo chicken and it was salty and gross. The prices are sky high for the amount of pizza you get. Pizza Hut is a whole lot cheaper with a similar taste palate. I don't order too much from here due to that reason. The staff is friendly, it definitely feels like it's a neighborhood hotspot. Aside from Pizza Hut, I'd say this is the best mum-pop pizzeria in the area. It beats Sicily anyday any time. If you haven't given them a try yet, I would.

I ordered delivery to my hotel, as I have a bit of a headache and needed to get some more work done. The online order gave slices of pizza as an option and Coke Zero as an option. They no longer do slices, but have not updated their order form. They were out of Coke Zero. No call to let me know and give me an opportunity to change/update my order. They told the excellent delivery driver about the drink change so he texted to make sure it was okay. They did not tell him about the pizza and just removed it from my order. I still haven't seen an updated receipt. Poor customer service. Update: asked for no tomato or lettuce, both on the sandwich. No napkins.... The sandwich is decent but not enough to try them on a future trip.

I highly recommend this local pizza spot. The pizza is reasonably priced and taste really good. Their menu offers a variety of toppings to choose from. I like the pepperoni pizza and the sauce is flavorful. I am eager to try a pasta dish. I have tried the tasty wings and I wasnt disappointed. I like the fact that the delivery fee for the neighbors in close proximity is fair unlike the commercial pizza chains. I suspect the owner may have served in the military due to my observation of the wall decor. Another reason to support this pizza joint. Give this local spot a chance, you won't regret it.

I recently discovered that this pizzeria offers halal options and checked them out for Super Bowl catering. With our party being small, two large pizzas and one medium more than sufficed, and all the different varieties hit the spot in their own way. The Pesto Chicken specialty pizza brought that saucy texture and a subtle pesto flavor that one would expect, whereas the classic pepperoni focused on keeping it to simple meaty goodness. Perhaps the favorite was the buffalo chicken specialty, which brought some heat with it as well! The crust isn't outstanding, but gets it done in conjunction with the cheese and the toppings you choose. Dior, the owner, seems like a very friendly young guy as he took special care of my fully halal order and assured that there was no possibility of cross contamination either. He also threw in a couple of cookies on the house to sweeten the deal (quite literally) and was super nice about making sure I consider revisiting soon. Next time you're thinking about a local pizzeria with lots of options (including halal ones) in the Pearland or Clearlake area, this is one to keep in mind. Prices can be somewhat high but overall, my first takeout experience proved to be worth it.

Looking to support a local business. Found Tony's via Yelp/Google. 4.5 stars so had to try. Reasonable prices! Online ordering! Delivery! Pizza showed up way quicker than I planned for, hot and fresh. Crust has the brick oven taste. Not so much sauce it's over powering the toppings; you can taste all the ingredients. Wish we'd ordered from them sooner! Will be ordering more often!

Worst customer service ever. Very very slow service. AND lady at the front is so rude. I went today to pick up my order after 20 minutes of placing it, she says it's not ready yet needs 30 more minutes. After about 35 minutes of waiting I finally got it BUT missing one item. She was so rude and basically said you have to wait another 20-30 minutes to get the missing item?!!! I'll never come back!

So I eat here about three times a month. The pizza are awesome, and the staff are super friendly. Al of my items here have been great.

If i could give no stars i would to start off the food is not good at all and the pizza is practically cardboard. Secondly how is this establishment going to refuse service to a girl with a blind guide dog because there are "no dogs allowed" their reason was because it was a dog in a restaurant which is understandable if it wasn't a service dog. I could promise you this dog was way cleaner than the establishment and is trained to behave and would mostly only be touching the floor and it's owner. Not to mention is illegal to refuse a service dog even if it is in training if they have their card and papers which she did and she would have ever right to sue this establishment. I am also extremely upset on how this family decided to approach this situation and and told the young lady she was only doing it for her own good when she is being selfless by training dogs for the blind. Last time i checked there was no sign on the door for no dogs. Very poor management and behavior. Those dogs could potentially save a life so next time stick to something you know.

Great pizza in the mont! I've ordered a few times for pick up and the food was ready with generous toppings. The crust is not too thick and the sauce has good flavor and they don't over load it. They have awesome specials. I was disappointed in the delivery service. I was told 45min but it took an hour and a half. But it was dinner time on a Saturday night.
