Tony's Pizza and Restaurant

During my recent trip to Springfield, I couldn’t resist stopping by Tony’s Pizza with my family of 12 (plus a baby, lol). I can’t even begin to express how impressed I was! The pizza was absolutely fresh, delicious, and more than enough to satisfy our large group. The wings were perfect too—just the right amount of breading, and the buffalo wings weren’t overly saucy, which made them even better. But honestly, the best part wasn’t just the food; it was the incredible service we received. Despite our huge group, everyone was so kind, patient, and understanding. My mom, who’s been gravely ill, has always loved Tony’s, so I made sure to bring her a combo slice to the hospital after our visit. Even in her condition, she savored every single bite—it took her over an hour to finish, but she kept saying how delicious it was. Thank you, Tony’s Pizza, for being amazing in every way. You’ve been our family’s go-to for over 30 years, and this experience just reinforced why we’ll keep coming back. You’re the best!

Absolutely fantastic, wicked great staff and the pizza was the best I have had in so long!!

Excellent pizza. Just got it by the slice and they basically give you two of their regular sized slices for the price of one. Not knowing that, I got two cheese slices, paid $8, no problem. No more than three minutes later the very friendly guy handed me two boxes, looked like each of the boxes could fit a personal size pizza. And each of the boxes had two slices in it! I couldn’t finish it all. And it was so good. Fresh out the oven, the crust and bottom had a very nice crunch. The sauce is really tasty too, with real tomato pieces in it, though just a little more spices couldn’t hurt- but still great. Cheese was good too. Cashier and cook were both friendly and the place was clean. Really great first experience here.

Tony’s Pizza & Restaurant has long been a favorite of mine for takeout, known for its delicious pizzas, grinders, and party food. One thing I’m going to say is that I love Tony’s pizza. Pizza is my favorite thing to eat. This place is so good. This pizzeria is family friendly. The service is outstanding. You can taste the Italian in how they cook their pizza. Every-time I come to Tony’s I am greeted with so much warmth. Tony’s has my heart as the best pizza in Springfield ! Please never change the culture that you guys have.

Stopped here for pizza on a trip. The pizza was fantastic, you get your money's worth, that is for sure. The service was excellent. Our waiter was kind, quick, and helpful in finding some activities for us nearby. Atmosphere, clean, chill, and would highly recommend.

Delivery Driver left food in the rain without making any attempt to Alert anyone inside. Not a knock or a doorbell ring. Then when I called I was told nothing can be done. Horrible service and a waste of money. Be careful ordering here during bad weather!

Best Pizza around - ordered 10 party size pizzas - every single one of them was amazing- It’s not too salty. It’s perfectly seasoned. The amount of toppings is incredible and they’ll make you any type of Pizza you want- I’ve known Aneilo and his family for 40 years and they never disappoint. Thank you so much for all your hard work yesterday for my grandson‘s first birthday.

Tony's has great, delicious pizza ( I always get medium dough). My co worker and I ordered from work and I had a taste for chicken wings. I got plain because I laws get honey bbq or a flavored and wanted to change up to start trying the regular plain wings to review. These were good to the bone! I never eat wings down to the bone due to some wings containing the veins partially cooked and so forth. Not Tony's! These wings will have you nibbling the ends due to the good seasoning, and perfect fry. 5 stars!

Amazing veal parm and great Pizza . But I will travel to Tony's from Enfield for their pasta fagioli as it is as close to my 100% Italian Moms as I have ever had . Amazing ! Nice place & cozy environment

Hands down, Tony's pizza is probably the best pizza spot. I've moved away years go & have not came across a pizza that reminds me of home. I grew up eating pizza from Pizza Palace which is no longer around. My brother told I must try Tony's & yes he was right, OMG their pizza's are the best. 20min wait time just like they said.

Stopped in for pickup on the way back from basketball game. This was on or list while in town, Nice vibe inside restaurant and the pizza was excellent. When I say large it was huge and really good the boys loved it.

I grew up on Tony's and unfortunately I'm only able to get to once a year but when I take that first bite of the combination pizza I relive the good times of my childhood all over again . Just love the crust. A little salty which I enjoy. Great salad and my friend always gets a meatball grinder and says best around. They are always working hard to provide great service. Only minor issues are the parking and very limited beer list.

Came here for a quick lunch. Had great reviews so we had to try! Glad we did. Just got a small pizza to share between the 3 of us. Half cheese , half Tony's combination. Delicious! Plenty of food for 2.5 meals. We eat lightly :) the crust has a faint garlic taste to it which makes it even more delicious. Maybe it's my imagination:) The staff are super kind and you can tell it's a staple in the community based on the traffic of take out customers. If we ever find ourselves back in Springfield we will eat here ! I want to try their bruschetta!

I love Tony's veal parm and I order it a lot but I don't like it when I order blue cheese dressing and I get house dressing . This has happened twice.I am mad.

Wow! Our card group gathered at Tony's last night. Wife and I shared a large vegetarian pizza as we often enjoyed at Tony's. This one sucked! no tomatoes, little cheese and OVERWHELMED WITH red peppers. I like red bell peppers, but the skins made the pizza bitter. I even like the burnt crust as long as it's a little burnt, We've had Tony's vegie pizza a lot. This wasn't his regular vegie. Nasty. We threw out the leftovers. Sorry Tony. Not sure if it was listed in the menu like we got it, because we didn't look at the menu. if it was listed as no cheese, no tomato sauce, then mia culpa!

Rude and disrespectful.. order is wrong missing items blaming everyone else . Refused to authorize a refund .

We've enjoyed Tony's on Boston Rd since moving into Springfield. It may look small from the outside but the inside is nice and they do an amazingly busy to go business. With their helpful, friendly staff, easy onsite parking, and delicious food, we encourage you to give them a try!

This restaurant has been a family favorite for well over 20 years. Recently I wanted to give my 16 year old son small party with a few family and friends. I went in a few days before the party (poor planning on my part) and they were able to accommodate myself and 25 guest. We were given a small banquet room, complete with cloth napkins and banquet chairs. We had a private entrance, private bar and private restrooms. There is a speaker audio system where you can steam your own pandora music. Let's talk about the service: outstanding! We were able to order the pizzas of our choice and they came out quickly. Salad , dressing, water and soda was left on the table. My guest did serve themselves buffet style to the pizzas but this was flawless. Thank you Tony's for accommodating us for a very reasonable price and with amazing service!

So I'm not taking away from the fact that Tony's is one of the best pizza places that I know of in Springfield besides Red Rose where I should have gone however that's $52 on burnt pizza the problem for me was it was overly burnt now I went on Tony's website left a review no one has contact me so now I'm here

We went to Tony's to celebrate my sister's retirement (17 guests). From the minute we sat down, our waitress was on top of everything; we did not wait for anything; she consistently checked on us to ensure we had everything; a huge round of applause! From salad to dessert, everything was soooo delicious; we started with calamari, fried mozzarella, and sausage and peppers for appetizers; the calamari and mozzarella were fried light; you savored the taste of the food and weren't eating breading! The pasta with meat sauce was delicious; the sauce was perfect! The Chicken Francese was so tender you didn't need a knife; it melted in your mouth (we souped up the Francese sauce with the bread, it was so good)! Tony's is a gem; if you haven't tried it, you must!

Best pizza on the east side. Great place to go and have a great Italian meal. The service is great. They redid the inside and it is very cozy. Bar is beautiful and there are some regulars that love to talk to the new patrons.

This place had really big proportions, so you will be filled with food. The food is really good and tasty. The waiter was super nice about everytime and recommended some gas food!!!

BEWARE TONYS WILL BURN YOUR PIZZA. They have burned three consecutive pizzas all within a two month span. I kept saying maybe its an off night but after three thats my im a sucker limit. They used to be quite good a year ago but something awfully insidious is going on these days so again BEWARE. My son and i actually took the last one to the park and used it for a frisbee. It really brought us together even if we had to go to burger king after.

Best shrimp scampi in Western Mass. Jumbo shrimp and the sauce was flavorful and perfect. Ample portions for any pasta dish here and staff are always open and accommodating to customizing your dish, great service!

Favorite Italian food in the area. The guys are friendly and make some delicious food. Eggplant parm and the pizza are always spot on.

Go to place for everything Italian american food. Been coming here for years. Just keeps getting better. The renovation is beautiful and the family is too. Never had anything that I didn't absolutely love from here. It's all delish, fresh and wonderful. Keep up with the great recipes flying out of the kitchen. Always clean and friendly no matter what time of day, busy or not.

While at college there want much good food around but the portion size and decent taste at Tony's always kept me coming back. When my family visited we dined in restaurant. I normally did delivery via DoorDash which was very quick and easy! I think it is just a local pizza/Italian place that every town has, even my town back home. But that makes it the best food. It means it's made with love. I wish there was a 4.5 because I just want to take off for the sort of laid back hosting, there was no greeting or goodbye, sort of a "sit over there and I'll get you a beer" sort of thing. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a restaurant vibe.

I have been here 24 times, that should tell you something about how I feel about this Italian Springfield area restaurant. The rich sweet San Marzano tomatoes used in the sauce are simply prepared using only extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil and that is it, for me nothing could be better. I have tried many dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed.Their pizza is one of the better pies in the area too. If you are looking for a good quality Italian family restaurant which is affordable, please by all means give them a try, I am confident you won't be disappointed. Oh, don't forget the cannoli's, you are in for a surprise.

Love coming here when I come to town. The pizza is outstanding. I'm just happy to be able to say "I want a grinder" and not be looked at funny.

On Xmas eve I was waiting in the parking lot for my husband. I was verbally attacked by some men using racial slurs towards me. I am white. When I brought this to the attention of the owner he dismissed my concerns and called me a racist. He refuses to acknowledge that drugs are being sold in his parking lot.

Tonys is a family favorite. We mostly take our pizza to go. We're simple pizza eaters... Half cheese and half pepperoni. We ask for fresh garlic on the pizza and for the crust to be extra crispy. It is mouth watering delicious. We also get the wings and the anti pasta salad...both excellent choices. We've only dined in a few times, service is good. The grinders are tasty and my kids love the tortellini soup. The food is good too, I've only tried a seafood dish once and enjoyed it. Overall a great pizza place in our area... We only get pizza from here!

Fantastic pizza! I've been getting my pizza here since they had their original spot up the road a bit (almost 50 years ago... used to play Asteroids while I waited). Always consistently great. I can say, without exaggeration, that this is the best pizza you'll find!!!

Good food, big portions, friendly people. I'll venture into Springfield for that! We went for family dinner....$72 for four people (meatball appetizer, turkey grinder, pepperoni calzone, chicken marsala, chicken parm, 2 beers, 4 sodas, 2 cannoli & 1 cheesecake). All of us left with enough food for lunch tomorrow because the portions are that big. And the food is that good. And we are all stuffed! Meatballs were soft & delicious, covered in a tasty tomato sauce & cheese. Melt in your mouth. Kids had the grinder & calzone. Both were HUGE & stuffed to the bursting point. Dinners come with salad & bread. House dressing was very good. Portions were huge on the entrees. Marsala was very flavorful, loaded with chicken & mushrooms, mixed in with al dente pasta. Very nice. Chicken parm was cooked perfectly. Nicely fried crunch with tender meat inside. Two huge pieces in a nice tomato sauce with sauced pasta on the side. The pasta did make the sauce a little watery but I stole some of my daughter's calzone dipping sauce. Delicious. We almost skipped dessert but I remembered a wise yelper saying their cannoli are some of the best. Wow were they delicious! Crunchy, creamy, perfectly sweetened. I'm sensing we might make regular stops at Tony's.

I lived and worked in Springfield for 12 years and this was one of my favorite places. They make what might just be (no, is) the best chicken parm sandwich (grinder for the local folks) that I have ever had in my life. Their Italian dishes are pretty darn good too. Beyond everything though my favorite thing about Tony's is the people who work there. This is a family run business. As a regular, they knew my voice on the phone when I'd call to order, they were always friendly and welcoming when I walked in the door, and even when I saw them outside of the restaurant they were always quick to say hi. This is one of those cases where it feels really good to support local business and a terrific family who make some great food. Check it out if you're in town.

Growing up we always had Tony's! There was no other restaurant that topped it! It was always a bit!! Recently I have been feeling like it's a hit or mess!! Few weeks ago we ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza it was so darn good that I ordered it again on Sunday. Sad to say it was not as good as a few weeks ago. Today I order a toasted ham and cheese with lettuce, Mayo and pickles. There really wasn't any lettuce on the grinder and it was toasted so hard that I could barely bite it. Im not give them a low number because I still love Tonys Pizza.

We called for reservations for 13, set up perfectly. Ordered apps the owner Frank came out to greed us, such a nice guy. All the food came out hot and within 3-4 minutes so we were all dining at the same time. I ordered the chicken parm along with 4 others in our party. We all agreed it was fantastic. The sauce was very flavorful. My wife dined on lasagna, two hugh pieces I tried a bite it was excellent. My brother got the hot sausage dinner, said it was the best sausage he's had. Everyone was extremely happy with dinner. Can't wait to return. Thank you Frank for a wonderful night out...see you soon

This is the real deal Italian pizzeria with everything your heart and stomach desires on the menu. Portions are big, taste is good, price is just right. Couldn't finish the small grinder but had to get a cannoli and an espresso. That's all I'm going to say just try it for yourself and you won't be sorry.

This place is just awesome. Been about 5 times and loved everything. Best marinara sauce I've had in a long time. They could sell it as soup. Huge portions, pasta is always al dente, and waitstaff is very courteous. Good place for big parties as well. Only issue here is parking. Definitely a headache but in the end it's worth it - just park across the street in the open lot.

Fantastic! Tony's is the best in the area, their sauce is top notch, their pizza and grinders are delicious! The people who work here are wonderful and very personable. If you haven't tried Tony's yet, give it a shot and enjoy their food and good service.

I used to come here with my dad and brother and sister as a kid my dad recently passed and I moved from around the corner but this place is nothing but good times and good food please keep it up so my daughter can enjoy it when she is older

Best PIZZA ever! Tony's Pizza has been our pizza place for the last 30 years. Our family moved out of state about 10 years ago and we still have to stop and pick up a party size pizza if we are back in the Springfield area. This is the pizza that we compare all others to! The owners are friendly, the servers are efficient and the food delicious! The Pizza is a medium thickness crust that is delicious, tastes like fresh Italian bread. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of pizza that you receive. We really love their wings as well! We love Tony's pizza! The Fontaine Family

The service is great. I had chicken marsala and it wasn't that good. Small chunks of chicken, maybe two ounces worth. Thin marsala sauce.

Hadn't been to Tony's in years, but when I found out they were available on delivery express, I was pleased to go back to them. Big mistake - 2 orders in 2 weeks, both screwed up!!! All I ordered where grinders; How can you NOT put sauce and cheese on a dish named "parmigiana", The word itself dictates SAUCE AND CHEESE! Even my order confirmation from Delivery Express listed sauce and cheese as an automatic on the food I ordered. I received eggplant on a roll today!!! Last weeks order ended up being pepperoni and eggs on a roll; Again NO SAUCE, NO CHEESE!!! WHATS WRONG HERE??? Very disappointed, and out a total of $40.00 I would really LOVE to return as a regular customer, because their food was always so good, but I don't know if I want to go for the "3 strikes you're out" rule! I've been in the restaurant biz for over 40 years; What a shame to see a really good restaurant negatively affected by poor execution!!!

Best Pizza in Springfield! When I'm back home getting a pizza at Tony's is mandatory. For 20+ years I have never been disapponted. Can't wait to go back at the end of February!

I consider myself an avid pizza eater, maybe a better choice of words would be pizza enthusiast. However, I digress, if you would like to eat the most delicious pizza this side of Massachusetts, go no further. Tony's pizza sets the bar for other pizza places. The sauce to cheese ratio is elegant and down right amazing. Eat here! You will not be disappointed.

Tonys has always been good. Just moved to area and have eaten from there a few times. The portions are large and priced very well. Food is always great.

Best Pizza in the Boston Rd area. The Buffalo grilled chicken Pizza is awesome. Reasonably priced dinners and they serve beer too!!!!
