8 Great Restaurants Near Hard Rock Stadium

"Tony's Pizza has been slinging some of Miami Gardens’ best pizzas since 1988. This family-owned pizzeria serves New York-style pies with so many toppings you’ll need two hands to transport a slice to your mouth. We like the New York special with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and black olives that sit on a crust that crunches when you fold it in half. It’s not a huge place, but they have some counter seating, a long banquet, and a few booths along the windows. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a pizza with friends before heading to the stadium—your tastebuds and stomach will thank you for sparing them from concession food." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

Prince Street Pizza Miami Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"Prince Street Pizza is one of the vendors inside Wynwood’s Oasis, an outdoor food hall/concert venue. They serve big, thick square pies. But they’re overpriced and not worth your time. The spicy vodka pizza is, in fact, not spicy. The pepperoni pie is better, though only because of the crispy, cupped pepperonis. But both pizzas come on the same uninspired dough that tastes a bit like the pre-made stuff you can buy from Publix." - Ryan Pfeffer

Tony’s Pizza is a hidden gem tucked in a small strip mall off 441 — a classic hole-in-the-wall that’s been around a long time. Small, no-frills spot, but the food is always solid. I usually get my order to-go and almost always go for the Light Chicken — sautéed spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, and garlic in a light broth. It’s fresh, flavorful, and comes with generous chunks of chicken. Super satisfying and usually lasts me two meals! One small issue — I had to ask for plastic utensils with my takeout. They apologized and let me know they only had forks, but no knives available, which made eating the dish a bit tricky since it really needs a knife to cut the chicken. Would be great if utensils were included by default with to-go orders. I've never dined in— they have a few tables and benches, nothing fancy. I stop by about once a month when I’m in the area. Definitely worth checking out for a casual, hearty bite.

I loved everything from this place. Great pizza, great service from the ppl, with a great and chill atmosphere. Very quiet and pleasant. If you want to eat alone come here.

Google
Delicious and fresh. If you're a pesto lover, this is the best pesto pizza in the world. For meat lovers, the Pizza Lovers pizza is exquisite. The turkey sandwich is fresh and flavorful.

Everything about this place was awesome. It's a hole in wall type place but has big heart. The food is exceptional and the service was great as well. Definitely recommend for a slice or some pasta!

What’s great spot. Pizza was delicious. Ordered some mozzarella sticks while looking at the menu. Two medium pizzas. The pepperoni and the buffalo chicken, both were phenomenal. Lots of flavor and the dough perfectly cooked. The young man working at the cashiers was very polite and attentive. Free parking in the lot at front. They do lots of carry out as I was watching orders been placed. See you soon.

I've order delivery from this places for years. This was my very first time going to Tony's. I was impressed with the atmosphere. This is definitely a gem of a pizza spot in Miami Gardens. The service is unrivaled. The food taste great and the bathroom was clean. It's important to check an establishments bathroom. If they don't maintain the restroom, can you trust cleanliness of the kitchen? Check the pic as proof.

The crust is hard as a rock. Ordered a small pie and it tasted as if they cooked the dough first then added the cheese and toppings on it, as the toppings and cheese slid off of every slice. You can tell they were baked at separate times. The taste is also underwhelming. So make sure you have your own spices handy to make eating the pizza bearable.

First time here! Ordered a Stromboli, this can't be the large size. When I'd arrive the place was half empty. One server, and I guess 2 cooks. $21 for this, placed at 8:06p (not counting the mins getting the order and creating the account). Tip for whoever is the owner. Everyone blames the inflation, but is it really??? You charge more, give more FOOD. You charge less give less, is that simple. Waited 20 mins of the extra time of the assigned time online; 24 mins + 20 more mins a total of 44 mins of bad service. Paid online, never again. Left a tip, never again. I guess the cook can't handle the cooking or too much demand. Had to asked for a set of forks. No napkins, no sauce, no nothing. I was a server, if someone just bought something from the restautant and have to wait for some more extra time. The LEAST you could do is offer him some water at least/ small fountain soda. Fountain refills was $0.03 in 2005. I guess almost 20 years later is what $0.50 (exaggerating) per cup and you charge how much???? If someone is replying to this comment, I doubt it. Or maybe it's going to be a manager saying: "It's the right size, it's the right prize, we are sorry" like if being sorry: it's going to solve the problem. No marinara sauce, nothing. The online ordering system doesn't even let you choose any ingredients on the stromboli. I don't even know what's inside. I will update to let everyone know. $21... more like $12 at max, this is what it should cost. Including tip and tax $26 something. Really. Really. I would've gone to Domino's and have the 2 medium pizzas and breadsticks for that price. First time here and last one. In reality I paid for something I didn't even liked. Black olives (don't like), a stromboli that looks more like a Calzone to me. No meat or little, some green peppers and cheese, no sauce, mushrooms like 2 o 3 little pieces, and 2 or 3 onions. Flavor is not even that great. Don't come here really... you are better off eating at some other pizzeria. Lastly, I am cancelling this payment on my card, I will file a dispute.

Yelp
It's a chill little spot, clearly the bulk of the action is take out. The owner is a great waiter, very attentive. They have several beers on tap, and a wide selection in cans. There is a big tv playing the game of the day. The food was great, simple tried and true Italian-American. The mozzarella sticks are homemade, and The sauce on the pizza?! Divine. The garlic bread needed a touch of salt, but otherwise delicious. My husband loved his pizza. And I forgot to take a pic of my eggplant parm. Very tasty. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it five stars was the music. It was like techno elevator music. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We were out of towners- this was very good! We got the meat lovers, rolls and salad, all was delicious! It was a little bit of a wait when we ordered (Friday night at 7:00pm so prime time). They deliver but took even longer so we picked up and the restaurant was full of firefighters which always means it's a good place. I would recommend this place again! However they did not cut up the meat and cheese salad.
google avatar

Yelp
Food wasn't what I expected. Contrary to the reviews I read before ordering it was mediocre. Could use more seasoning. Spaghetti and chicken Parmesan was bland. Garlic bread was okay. Maybe I should've ordered regular serving because $14+ for "lunch special" was not enough. Me and baby inside wasn't satisfied. Maybe I'll try the pizza next time since that must be their specialty lol

Yelp
Solid pizza and service . Service great foe 6 XL pizzas for a company meeting. Everyone loved it!! I will go again!!

Yelp
This place reminds me of the North American cultural arts (dancing , music) produced in Japan , which is as good as that produced in the U.S., but is missing something that you can't quite put you hand on. ITS decent italian food , just missing something , even though there is no such thing as a bad pizza, the pizza here could use a bit more cheese. Very friendly service and very quite ambiance . I will be coming back and ask for extra cheese on my pizza
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
My go-to take out place. Ordered takeout for my family visiting from NY and we ordered 2 Greek salads and XL pie and everything was outstanding. The Greek dressing is something special, seriously!

Yelp
Located in a vast and barren food desert, Tony's Pizza and Drafthouse is a cool and delicious oasis in the middle of Miami Gardens. I ventured in for lunch during the week and was surprised to see a crowd, which I knew was a good sign. I was seated immediately and ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana sandwich. It was also available as a lunch special served with a side of spaghetti. The sandwich arrived after several minutes and I first noted that is was served on Ciabatta bread and not an ordinary submarine sandwich roll. I was pleasantly surprised. The Mozzarella cheese was hot and overflowing and the eggplant was tastefully breaded and the tomato sauce tasted great. It was a big sandwich so I took half home. It was even better when I reheated in my air-fryer. I plan to return for pizza which looked and smelled amazing.

Synn W.

Yelp
Pizza was decent not the best not the worse but I could not eat the garlic knots with cheese as they were soaking in a cheese bath and looked nothing like the pics they advertised had I know I was getting a cheese bath with some garlic knots I would have ordered regular knots . It was very disappointing as garlic knots are my favorite what a waste of money

Yelp
Tonys is the perfect place to eat. The food is awesome, they will not waste your time because they know you're working so the service is perfect. This is the place you come to eat and take a break from all the noise,!441 is noisy. But this is like a Library with delicious food. You're also likely to see many of our police officers enjoying a healthy meal. Keep up the good work!

Timmoen S.

Yelp
Food very good. Especially the garlic cheese rolls. Bradford our server was very nice and efficient. Atmosphere was calm and very clean. Would definitely come back if in the area. Glad we stopped here.

Yelp
I know I spoke clear when ordering @ 644p 1st pizza suppose to have extra cheese & sausage. Disappointing. I got pepperoni. 2nd pizza NY special. It was ok. The bottom crust could been a cook a little longer CRISPY not burned. I had to have my patience hat on. I arrived to pickup my order730-745p, wasn't ready. Still I tipped.....Its cool. They seriously got pass. IT NOT NYC.

Freddie C.

Yelp
Food Great ! Service Great ! Waiting time Great ! I will be visiting this place often. Hidden Gem for sure.....

Yelp
Somewhat of an institution in the neighborhood. I've been an occasional customer for 20 years. Not sure if it changed hands though it's clear Tony's not making the pizza any longer in the evenings when I pass by. Tony was a welcoming guy. It's less friendly now. No Italian touch. More of that guarded Miami vibe. They also don't sell by the slice any more... being from NY, that's difficult to get past. It's still infinitely better than the chain/fast food pizza, just fell off somewhat from what it was back in the day.

Yelp
I called in my pizza for a large cheese and they said it would take 20 to 25 mins. I get there a little early and notice an old cold pizza sitting behind the counter. As I was paying I saw other pies in the oven and thought nothing of it. I see the pizza maker throw cold pre cooked pizza in into the oven and still thought nothing of it. Figured mine was in the back almost ready. 5 mins later my pie was ready annnnnnd... They sold me the f#$king reheated pizza!!
google avatar

Fernando L.

Yelp
An ABSOLUTE MUST TRY! This place is Ahhhmazing... the Food is Delicious... the Staff goes way above and beyond .. The best pizza in town
google avatar

Jill S.

Yelp
The food here is amazing, BUT their delivery is horrible. Every time I have a delivery there is always an issue. Wait time is longer than they say. Well today I ordered way in advance online, I get a call at the time the order was supposed to be delivered saying it will be another hour! I had ordered my meal an hour prior! Shame on you! Get your delivery in order!
google avatar

Blair S.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza place closest to my home. They also have a nice Stromboli and they have a thing they called low-carb meal It's spinach mushrooms broccoli I add garlic salt and oil and chicken but it's one of my favorites.

rebecca r.

Yelp
The first maybe 2 times I ordered from here it was pretty good. After that they stopped listening to instructions about extra sauce and small requests like that. They try to be stingy with the sauce and the food was very subpar.
google avatar

Stanley L.

Yelp
If you want your pizza this is the best place it taste exactly like New York pizza I've been there once and I've been going back there for the last 15 years it's the best of the best and I'm from New York City
google avatar

andrew g.

Yelp
Had their ravioli and cheese. it was pretty good and the packaging is pretty fancy. My only negative of this place is the parking. In the afternoon there is hardly any place to park I have to park at the supermarket and walk to the store.
google avatar

Maurice R.

Yelp
I was in the area and wanted a slice so this had a ton of reviews on google. Not bad good crunch not much flop. I think if we got a pie fresh it woulda been much better.
google avatar

Quantavia L.

Yelp
Love this place. The pizza and wings were amazing as usual. Today was our first time sitting inside. Great service.
google avatar

Charlyne R.

Yelp
Well... nothing to do with the picture! Not even the same base, supposed to be a white pizza but got tomatoe, not to mention a delivery time of 1h30mins!! (Leaving only 5mins away) Very disappointed and bad customer service as Sebastian argued and never assumed the error, will not order there anymore, Anthony's pizza or Steve's pizza are so much better and friendlier.

Maria F.

Yelp
Food never disappoints. Only reason could not give 5 stars is the temperature inside to dine is set a little to high for the heat in Miami. Making dinning in uncomfortable due to the warm temperature inside... but the pizza/salad/meatballs are a 5 star

J R.

Yelp
Good place recommend Thin Homemade crust and great sauce cheese and other veggies just right
google avatar

Bianca R.

Yelp
I had originally rated this place 5 stars because without a question their pizza is the best in the area (Miami Gardens). However, I order from them frequently and I have no idea what the issue is as of late but the last few times I've ordered, my pizza arrives extremely late. I'm not talking an hour from the time I place the order, that's expected! I'm talking two hours late, I think that's ridiculous but really what bothered me the most is not even that they took so long, it's that when I called to try and get an update on my order it went straight to a busy tone. I ended up driving there and having to ask to have my order cancelled, which could have been avoided had they simply answered the phone. It also didn't help that another customer came in about 10 minutes after me to complain about the same issue, so clearly it's common theme for them. Moral of the story: if you want your pizza to arrive within a reasonable time frame order else where. Needless to say I will not be ordering from them again.

Yelp
Excellent Food, Great Service. Consistent Quality Product..! Tony's Pizza Has Been Our Neighborhood Place As Long As We Have Lived In This Area. The Owner Has A Top Notch, Always Pleasing Business.
google avatar

Magie S.

Yelp
I live next door and have used them for almost 10 years- today the owner answered the phone (seems he had a sore throat and maybe he should have stayed home). I ordered a large calzone and they only gave me one small sauce container, that's not enough for 1/4 of the calzone. I called pizza place and told him that I always order same thing and they put 3 small sauce containers if he could please send some with the next delivery -I am a street away!!! . He tells me it should be only one sauce container -I guess I imagine the others I got before!! He hangup on me! I couldn't go back because baby is asleep and they fup the order anyways! least they could do !! He Lost a 10 year customer for been rude!! I called back and he claims place is crazy - 3 tables is busy !! Not recommended is not like his pizza is the best anyways !!

Viviana C.

Yelp
The best pizza and meatballs I have ever tried. My company orders lunch for everyone often from this place due to their quality. I recommend this place
google avatar

Tu M.

Yelp
I order take out bake ziti , comes with 3 garlic rolls and side salad. It was delicious it remained compact, strong and elastic even after hour it was enough food for my lunch and dinner , Service was great , I will definitely order again from them. Garlic rolls were great.
google avatar

Katrella S.

Yelp
I ordered lunch for myself and a few of my coworkers. It was a pretty sizable order but not enough to get it over 40 min past delivery time. Mind you they are only 5min from my office. Late delivery and the order was incorrect. Instead of bringing a slice with pepperoni they brought one which had egg plant and spinach. Really!!! Not sure if the usual cook was in today or not but the stuffed shells was short on taste and sauce. The pasta was under cooked and just poor quality overall. The garlic rolls were just bread and over cooked. This isn't what I expected from one of my favorite lunch spots. Truly disappointed.
google avatar

Shan G.

Yelp
The yelp reviews on this place was a little off putting. However, I decided to check it out on my lunch break. The pizza is super affordable. I was shocked to see how nice of a pizza place this was. The dough was freshly made and I saw him toss the pizza & make it right in front of me. A whole XL pizza was ready in 10 minutes. Enough pizza for the whole office (with leftovers & lots of toppings) and a soda for everyone came to less than $30. Great deal and Ill definitely visit again!
google avatar

Beverly W.

Yelp
We ordered curbside on the websithe. We arrived at 7:00 as instructed. We waited outside for 10 minuyes and then I called. I was put on hold for another 7 minutes. When the employee returned to the line I informed him who we were and that we were waiting outside. After another 5 minutes, my husband finally had to go inside to get the pizza. When we got hold of course the pizza was cold. When I called the restaurant, I was informed that they didn't offer curbside service and I should call back tomorrow to speak to the owner! Wont be doing business with Tony's Pizza again! Way overpriced COLD pizza!

Yelp
I have been driving past this place for over a year now, it sits in nonchalant mini-strip mall about 3 min's from my office. Over the last two weeks curiosity had been gnawing at me...Read the reviews and decided to give it a go. I so regret not coming here before, I saw sandwiches and other dishes go by, everything looked good and the place was full. Sat at the counter and ordered a small half-pepperoni pizza, which was freshly made right in front of me. What can I say but that, this has become my new favorite place in the area. If you can stand a bit the wonderful smells of italian food this place is for you. There is plenty of booth's and a few table in addition to the counter, two large screens and great customer service. On a side note I can understand some of the complaints about the timing of orders and delivery, but everything is being made fresh, this is not domino's. if you want good food, you need to wait a bit and since the place gets busy order with plenty of time :)

Sheena A.

Yelp
Just ordered a calzone and it taste like pure garbage, no ricotta. I asked for chicken and broccoli. It smells good but has no flavor at all and taste horrible, worst calzone I ever had. It was just broccoli stems no top green leafy part. And there is no chicken. Do not order. I hope I don't get sick from this I only had a few bites and had to spit it out. So mad that my bf wasted his money. Now I need to find something else to eat. I was so excited for nothing.

Powell P.

Yelp
If you live nearby Tony's, becoming a regular is way too easy after your first visit. Relaxed environment with great food

Carlos P.

Yelp
I order a lasagna when I got it didn't like right. I called and they said sorry he will give me credit. I told him I want to show him. He told me to bring it in and he would make right. When I got there and showed him he give me a new one plus fixed the one I took back. Super great service. Carlos

Yelp
We ordered a large lunch today from Tonys and as always.....magnifico! I used to go into Tonys once a week for lunch, but now work restraints hinder that for me. I try to order delivery when I can and I quickly suggested Tonys pizza when coworkers were discussing a group order. Glad that the timing was perfect and the pizza was outstanding as my suggestion was on the hook. I was born in NY and my father was born in Sicily....so I have an idea of good pizza. Thank you Brad and continuing to produce quality Italian food. Hopefully I can make it back in there soon.
google avatar

Ronnita W.

Yelp
So I have frequently eaten at Tony's and return because I like their food and service. But this week I order delivery and saw another side of Tony's. My office is five minutes from Tony's expected delivery time was an hour. At one hour and twenty minutes we had to call for a status on the order as it had not arrived. When it arrived we had four salads three dressings...garlic bread burnt...a slice of eggplant pizza we didn't order...missing a pepperoni slice we did order...pasta was plastic like and all food was room temperature. Of the six people in our order no one was pleased with lunch. When I called back about the missing pizza it took almost 45 minutes for that delivery. Just disappointed all round on this experience! I'm giving an extra star because I know Tony's can do better and look forward to writing a better review in the future.

Anna A.

Yelp
New to the area and I came across this pizza place. Great wings and very good pizza. 2nd time here and everyone seems to be nice.

Shannon E.

Yelp
The fries were uncooked and it took 2 hours to be delivered. Customer Service should be number 1 priority this is really unacceptable.

Wendy S.

Yelp
food is not bad but but the prices are ridiculous for the type of place it is. $9:95 for two small stuffed shells on a paper plate. $5 each. that's insane. Owner is always rude. so done with this place.

Dennis S.

Yelp
My office ordered over $150 in Pizza for a company lunch at Tony's Pizza on 2nd Avenue in Miami Gardens. The pizza arrived over one hour and a half late. They were Cold and soggy and tasted acidy. Manager was extremely rude and unapologetic. We will never purchase from this place again. Don't know how they're even in business.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Best pizza around! I stop here for lunch whenever I'm in the area. Always very fresh and very tasty. Very nice staff too. Everything I've tried is good. Their wings are true Buffalo style too!

Erin R.

Yelp
Tony's has been a family favorite for years and I have tried so many things on the menu. Great pasta, pizza and the wings are the best! Garlic rolls are also amazing! Service is great in store or for delivery .
google avatar

Britnie A.

Yelp
Decided to stop in here while my car was getting serviced next door. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions. I ordered a 12 in veggie pizza. While I waited, they were preparing dough for future pizzas and I really enjoyed watching the process. They also had two flat screen TVs playing which I also liked. Now for the pizza review: This was the BEST pizza I've ever had. This is saying a lot because I am very picky. Idk about their other dishes but the pizza is bomb. I have found my go to pizza spot and couldn't be happier.
google avatar

Michelangelo C.

Yelp
The best pizza in the area. Veal milanese is also great. Prices are very acceptable and fair. Service is good. Maria is a great person and she in quick. If you are looking for a NY style pizza very crunchy this is the place if you are in the area.
google avatar

Tracy T.

Yelp
Just NO! ordered pizza at 6:37, called at 7:41 asking where the pizza was, they said it was next for delivery, called again at 8:25 they said it was 3 minutes away. Called again at 8:35 still no pizza. This is a FULL 2 hours after i placed an order for delivery to a place that is less than 2 miles away from my house.

Dee T.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the soup. Minestrone soup should be more than just broth. There was four pieces of macaroni, a few beans and a few other vegetables. Was really looking forward to the soup.
