Great spot for authentic Mexican food. Large portions. Great prices. Plenty of great choices for everybody. Had the tamales, street tacos, carne asada burritos, chips and salsas. Everybody in the group at their whole thing. We will be going again.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was our first time at the restaurant and they helped us choose from the large selection on the menu. We enjoyed the patio seating surrounded by trees. The food was delicious and came out fairly quickly. The portions are large.

Driving through town and we wanted tacos! Pretty busy so slower service. Waitress was not overly friendly. Although the food was delicious and worth the wait. Tamales were delicious and tostada yummy. Other son had the smothered fries and they were so good.

Tony’s is awesome!!! I’ve been coming to Tony’s ever since they first opened. I live down in Salt Lake and have been to all of the top Mexican joints. I go back to Tony’s for their consistency and awesome food. I’m not in Heber as much I used to be but every time I am, you better believe I’m hitting up Tony’s. Anthony is always there and you can tell he loves what he and his dad are doing. Thanks for running such a great place guys!!

Excellent authentic Mexican food! Very delicious and affordable. Wonderful, friendly service that encourages repeat visits. It seemed like the owner was on familiar terms with several of his guests which leads me to the conclusion that this quaint little place has a lot of regular customers. That's how you know the food is good! We really enjoyed the street tacos! The steak and chicken ones were our favorites. Very filling and savory! We will be coming back!

Always great food here, we especially like the tacos and the chimichanga. Owners are very nice and service is great even when they are very busy.

In town on a business trip, always looking for that little hole in the wall place to eat, because that's often where the best food is. Well, Tony's did not disappoint. Had the number 3 Carnitas plate and it was outstanding. Salsa was good, chips were crisp, and the server was friendly and efficient. What more could one ask for! I just may go back tomorrow.

I am literally sitting here at Tony's Tacos in Heber City, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. We have been waiting over an hour for our food, which is super frustrating given the lack of communication from the staff. During our long wait, we received only one basket of chips, and our water glasses were never refilled. To make matters worse, our waiter did not check on us at any point, leaving us feeling neglected and unappreciated. While the food might be worth the wait for some, the poor service certainly overshadowed the experience. With 11 people here I would think it would be easier to get people taken care of. Horrible. They have catered our office several times this might be the last Taco I eat here.

Great people and good food. It is by far the best Mexican food in Heber. The carnitas, Tony's Tacos plate and chimichanga are always good.

I had a fabulous tamales here. And the street tacos are interstate size! The tortillas are to die for! A must do in Heber City!

We have lived here for two years and finally tried Tony's Tacos. I'm so upset we haven't been here before. It was amazing!!!! We are from Texas and have been on the hunt for good Mexican and Tony's Tacos was exceptional. We had the carne asada street tacos with chips salsa/guac. The meat was very good quality. The red and green sauce they bring to the table was so tasty. This is our new favorite spot in the valley.

Help they have me locked in their basement. They said they wouldn't let me out unless I gave them a 5 star review. I haven't had food in 3 days. I did get some panda cookies. There are more of us, SEND HELP (Just to be sure, this is a joke never been but probably a good restaurant)

The food here isn't bad. The price is low but the service is absolutely horrible. They act as if you're bothering them just by walking, at least the two younger employees/servers. It's really sad when you into a family owned business like that numerous times and you get treated like a piece of garbage no matter polite you are or how well you tip. I hope someone from there reads this and the servers get their attitudes adjusted but I don't think it will happen.

This Mexican restaurant as OK but nothing to write home about. They are a family run operation and have a friendly vibe. You can order at the counter and then take your number to your table or you can have a waiter take your order at the table. They have beer only which was not what I wanted - tequila and lime shooters was what I really wanted. Ordered the carnitas plate and it was very good - well seasoned, fresh homemade corn tortillas was the hit. Rice and beans were not tasty but edible. House made fresh salsa that comes with the chips was very good - I ordered 2 more bowls to go along with the carnitas plate.

Delicious!!! Street tacos are amazing, the steak tacos were exceptionally good. Will be back for sure!

Great food! And the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Authentic dishes are on the menu and some of the best Tex Mex out there too.

Stopped by and ordered some carnitas tacos around 4pm and it went pretty quick. Person taking my order was very nice. Got my food in about 5min. Came back around 7:30pm, it was much busier and it took about 15/20 minutes to get 3 tacos. The food was great. Interior of restaurant looked a bit dirty, could use updating. BUT the food I ordered was good!

Food is always delicious, especially the tamales. Enjoy sitting on the patio! We stop anytime we're in town.

Not sure they are still even in business. Stopped in there for lunch today and it was locked up tight. Nobody inside.

While driving to Wyoming, my family and I stopped by this little restaurant for a quick lunch. I really enjoyed their food and service and so did my family! The waitress was very nice. Every worker was wearing a mask; however, many of the customers were not. Nonetheless, the seats and tables were spaced far enough that my family and I felt fairly comfortable eating here. I just wish the mask regulations were a little stricter and more enforced.

Great atmosphere, server was super friendly and very patient with us. Their chips and salsa were nothing to write home about, but are great at holding you off while you wait for your food. I had their al pastor plate, it's a slow-cooked pork , served with pico de gallo, beans, mexican rice, and corn/flour tortillas. The food was amazing and very filling. Couldn't find anything to complain about, this is the spot if you want to get mexican food in Heber.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Heber City. I moved here from Las Cruces, New Mexico, so I prefer the rich chile red and green sauces famous to that region. I haven't found the sauces anywhere in Heber City, so I make my own, but Tony's is where I go for tacos, tamales, and al pastor plates. The service is friendly and fast, the prices are reasonable, and the place is clean. They serve chips and salsa with your meal, they offer homemade tortillas, which are served properly in a tortilla warmer, and their plates are at least warm, if not hot, to keep your food warm. I have never been served a flat soda here, and their lime wedges are always juicy. It's sad that I feel the need to mention these details, but if you eat in Heber City restaurants, you know that the details are often overlooked. This place isn't fancy, but it's warm and welcoming and incredibly consistent in quality.

Best tacos in town! I could eat here every night, in fact I'm usually here 1-2x week. The service is always on point and it's great to go to a place where they know you by name and know what you like to order.

The Tony burrito is awesome and so are the steak tacos. Make sure to get the green sauce it is awesome!

This place is bomb and probably the best food in Heber in my opinion. Delicious Mexican food, the BEST chips and salsa, and a nice chill vibe for just stopping in and being served quickly. I was here on a Saturday around 2pm and holy cow it was a madhouse, so busy, but the only two female servers in the entire place did incredible. They remained calm, served me as quickly as they could, and were polite despite the chaos. This is always where I stop to eat in Heber!

We ate lunch here today and it was absolutely delicious. Our young waitress was slammed but was right on top of our order and came back several times to ask if we needed anything. We are traveling but wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend. I had a tostada and my husband had an enchilada combo plate. We even brought some home.

Holy tacos. I am a huge fan of street tacos and Tony's tacos didn't disappoint. I got the #10 taco plate with one beef, pork and chicken. They are simple with meat, onions and cilantro but they give Yoo-hoo this sauce to put on them. It is so good! Love the atmosphere and I was served quIckly. I did come right before the lunch rush but they are very efficient. The staff was super nice and helpfull when deciding what to get. I will be a frequenter here when I am in the area.

Tony's menu is typical offerings. The employees are busy but friendly. Food is always 8 or 9. Restaurant is clean. Prices are typical. I recommend the tacos they are simple not over done.

There are better options for tacos in town. Tony's Tacos are OK, but I didn't find them worthy of frequenting.

This probably my favorite Mexican food place in Heber City. I've been coming here for over 10 years - before Tony's was in its current location. I probably like the Carne Asada taco best - especially smothered with the green salsa. Ambience definitely isn't too fancy but the owners are really nice and the food is good.

Ordered a carne burrito and the meat was not fresh and hard like it was made on Saturday and today is Monday. How do I know because they were closed yesterday. Very sad and they didn't wrap it properly so I fell out the bottom. The rice and beans were scorching to make up for the old meat. Save yourself and go elsewhere I won't be returning.

Poor service - impatient and unhelpful while deciding what to order, took 30 minutes for them to bring chips and salsa and another 15 to bring two entrees. Other groups who came after us had their food much sooner. When the food finally came it wasn't what I expected. When I brought this to their attention, one server just stared at me then abruptly brought me the bill. Another server tried to argue with me about it. I won't be going back.

Food is good and the service is ok most of the time. They get really busy and sometimes it's better to order ahead of your in a hurry. Love the street tacos!

Absolutely worst service I have encountered to date. Not sure about the food as we never got to order in 30min.

We found Tony's by accident a few years back. We were looking for grub along Main Street and turned into to Tony's. It is great traditional Mexican you would expect. The burritos and chimichanga are the go tos. Recently had the enchiladas and they were good , not great. I know is sounds weird but the beans are fantastic. I would love to have a plate of beans cheese and tortillas. We have been several times and have not missed with any decision we make.

Came here last night with my brother and his family to celebrate my niece's award recognition ceremony. The place closes at 9 and we walked in at 820. The main dining room had all the chairs on the tables like they were closing up shop. My brother had started ordering food for the 7 of us in the group and asked if there was a table we could sit at. The female server was super rude and nasty giving the guy taking our order dirty looks and telling him he shouldn't let us sit in the dining room and that we had to sit up at the front of the shop where there was only a table with 2 seats. The two workers kept going back and forth and my brother said if we can't sit we will just cancel the order ($80 worth of food). The guy didn't say anything so we just went and pulled down chairs and pushed 2 tables together (we also had another 3 people join us from the ceremony as well and about 8 other people walked in after us). We had to go back up to the counter after almost 10 mins when we still hadn't received our drinks or chips and salsa. The gentleman ended up bringing it to us after the girl gave my brother another dirty looked and went to serve the people at the front. My experience within the first five minutes gives this place one star for me. If you don't want to serve people up and until 9pm, close your doors at 7 or make it clear that you can only do take out after a certain time. The only thing that brings it up to a 3 is the food and the guy who took our order. If I based it on the girl alone it would have been a 0 if that was even possible. Way disappointed in the experience because the food is actually really good and the space is decent. If I get to go back the next time I visit my family I hope it's a different experience so I can update the review. My brother and his wife and son all ordered the street tacos (chicken, steak, pork, el pastor) as that is their favorite dish at the restaurant and the reason they wanted to go here for dinner. They were little double mini tortillas with the meat on top and then topped off with cilantro and onions and limes on side. The boys loved the green sauce that was on the table to add to their tacos and my brother noted that the color was different than last time so they must make it fresh. My nieces ordered the tamales and I ordered the vegetarian burrito. The street tacos were all devoured and the girls enjoyed the tamales although the red sauce was a bit too spicy for them. The burrito was as big as the plate and it was packed with ingredients: lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese, rice and beans. The cheese was so melty and the flavors all combined together well and it was filling enough without any sides.

Food is good authentic Mexican! I had Tony's Tacos. The chicken and beef were super flavorful. Rice and beans were exactly what you'd expect from a classic Mexican joint like this. They give you chips and salsa every order over $14. Staff is friendly but our food took forever to fome out. By the time out food arrived the other two families we cake with had already finished their plates and needed to head out. That's why I'm knocking off a star. We started at the take out window and placed our order. After a while we had to go in because no one was giving us attention when we were waiting to pay. When we went in we finally got someone to swipe our card. I'm assuming they were understaffed because of COVID and I'm understanding of that. That's why I didn't take off two stars. Over all a good place to go when that south of the border craving strikes. P.S. Give the cow tongue taco a try. Tender meat. Tasty stuff.

A tiny gem in Heber City when it comes to Mexican Food. I've tried all of what Heber has to offer and I can legitimately say this tasted the best and most authentic. Is it in a beautiful restaurant? No, atmosphere is basic and clean family run place. The portions aren't over done to the insane size America's have become accustomed to which is GOOD thing! I was able to finish my food and not feel like a bloated pig or take half of it home to die in my fridge later. The rice and the beans ( which I not normally avoid) were full of flavor and complimented the steak corn shelled tacos I got. The home made sauces were spicy and I loved the pickled jalapeños. You have my attention Tony! I'll be back and I will recommend with enthusiasm to others.

One of the few places we've eaten at that I haven't Yelped in advance, but we were not disappointed. We had an early lunch so were the only patrons for awhile, but took it as a good sign that construction workers and Latinos started filling the place by the time we were packing up. Favorite part: BEST RICE AND BEANS that I've had in Utah so far. (As a CA native, authentic Mexican food has mostly been a disappointment here aside from the occasional burrito joint or Red Iguana, which is a totally different type of food.) The main dishes can be good, but if the rice and beans aren't up to par, it's hard to not write off a place. Tony's Tacos wins. Big time. When I couldn't decide between the carne asada and the carnitas, the waitress recommended the asada and asked if I wanted onions with it (I did.) The meat was served differently than I've ever had it - diced up pieces of beef on a sizzling skillet - but the flavor was good (no weird grisly pieces like you sometimes find) and the portion was huge. Not the best carne asada I've ever had but it was solid and I enjoyed it. Served with generous side of those magical rice and beans, avocado slices, some shredded lettuce (basic but fresh), and the other total plus of the restaurant: house-made tortillas. The flour ones were beautiful and I wish I'd ordered more to take home with my leftovers. My husband's chicken enchiladas were very tasty as well, though we wondered at the limited choices (chicken or cheese). The red sauce was surprisingly good, and again, the rice and beans!! Got a chicken taco for our toddler, and it was standard but a huge portion of diced-up meat on a hand-made corn tortilla. Prices are totally reasonable - we got out of there for less than $20 and a big box of leftovers. We also really liked the fresh salsa served with the chips, and the bottles of salsas/sauces they brought out with the food - a spicy verde and a smoky chipotle one. It looks a bit dingy and in need of some updating, but we found the restaurant clean and were happy with the authenticity - it made us overlook the worn-out dining room. Plenty of high chairs and seating. Good selection of bottled Mexican cokes and Jaritos, and some desserts. The service was polite and fast - you can order at the counter or at your table, and though it was a bit confusing how we should pay our bill, we ended up paying at the counter, too. Don't forget to tip! We definitely will make the trek back here from Salt Lake, even just for a big plate of the rice and beans and the tortillas!! Excited to try more of the dishes too.

Basically a Beto's with margaritas. The food was bland and the hot sauce options weren't even spicy. Not sure how low the bar has to be to have 4 out of 5 stars in Heber but if this is rated so highly it leaves little hope for other food options in the area.

A small fabulous Mexican restaurant in Heber City is not to be missed. Tony's is very casual and everyone seemed to know each other. It almost felt like a little village in Mexico. The sigh by which we judge them is how good and how hot the salsa is. It is very, very, very hot. The green salsa is supposed to be slightly less hot but I couldn't tell the difference. I had the flautuas and they were great. They came with beans and rice and they were huge so I had some take out left. I washed them down with ice cold Mexican Coke in a bottle and will be back to try more items on their menu.

This place was actually super good. Kind of a hole in the wall and the seating, in my opinion, was a little bit awkward. You either order at the counter and get your food faster, or use it down and it takes longer for someone to come over and take your order. The food was really good and the street tacos with onions and cilantro were exceptional. The cheese enchiladas were pretty much your basic Mexican restaurant enchiladas, but I think I liked the sauce better than your typical sauce. They don't give you a ton of rice or beans, but maybe that's because people don't really eat them? I don't know. Fast service, good food, get in get out, yummy.

Because of the positive reviews I was looking forward to this restaurant. I ordered a Chili Relleno and on my second bite realized that I had a sharp wooden skewer in my mouth. Glad I didn't choke on it. Wouldn't recommend this place at all!

Tony's is the place for some real Mexican food in Utah! It's legit! The street tacos are awesome and a great place to dine in Heber City.

This is our favorite street taco place in all of Utah. We drive 45 minutes to eat here. Food tastes fresh and authentic. Service is great and portions are generous.

Five star! Night before Thanksgiving, we struck out two other Mexican restaurants that were closed, and have Tony's a try. Holy crap, the best shrimp fajitas I've ever had. Perfect hand mags tortillas, salsa, guac and hot sauce they made as well. Everyone in my group was stoked with their burritos and chili rellenos. Nice service, legit, authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended!

I love this place. My fiancé is Mexican and we've been hard pressed to find a good place in Heber with vegetarian options to satisfy his cravings. The food is fresh and delicious, always comes out quickly, and they make amazing mixed drinks. Super friendly and personable staff make it that much better. Special shout out to our waitress Gisselle, who we happened to watch handle an upset customer (who was mad they were busy and couldn't sit CHILDREN at the bar) with kindness and class. We will definitely be back.

Great place for its location in Heber City! Solid Mexican food for a fair price. Enchiladas, street tacos, tortillas- all were excellent! The corn chips weren't to die for, and the salsa was very mild, but tasty nonetheless. If you like spice you need to ask. They do have jalapeños and other sauces available. Plenty of parking on the side of the building and on the street. TVs to watch, music playing, beers and sodas to drink. Nice place! Will go again!

Tony's Tacos is a homey Mexican restaurant right off the main street of Heber City. It offers all kinds of varieties of Mexican food, from Tortas to Tacos. They range from about $3 for a single item all the way up to $10ish for a meal, so they are pretty decently priced. All entrées come with a free side of tortilla chips. I thought the food was pretty good, definitely got what I paid for, however I am a little disappointed in the tortilla chips and in the salsa, they do not hit the spot for me for some reason. I like their small twists on usual Mexican items, such as their choice of Tortas bread and the way they prepare the meat such as their carnitas/pork.Overall, I give it 4 stars.
