Too Sweet London

I haven't even eaten from here, I came from Instagram to see the truth 🤣🤣, I stopped buying food from our people years ago just for this reason, I learnt to cook it and I know I can always rely on my own service to be good. It's disappointing that it's been a thing for so long.... Do better, it's easy. Customer service is paramount and should always be the main focus along side quality and hygiene, all just as important to a food business!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was a public service to warn people away from this place. This wasn't just a bad meal, it was an ordeal. The "service" was beyond disrespectful. I asked a simple question about the menu and was met with immediate hostility. The server started yelling and arguing with me for no reason. To make matters worse, they were spitting all over the counter and the food while they were shouting. It was completely unhygienic and honestly stomach-turning to witness.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Extremely disappointing experience. Walked in expecting basic courtesy and professionalism, but instead was met with rude, dismissive behaviour and zero customer service. No greeting, no patience, and an overall attitude that made it feel like customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists. If you’re running a food business in London, good customer service isn’t optional — it’s the bare minimum. Sadly, this place misses that completely. Plenty of other Caribbean spots nearby that actually appreciate their customers. Would not recommend. Avoid.🚩

Absolutely awful customer service. The older lady staff member was extremely rude, impatient, and outright disrespectful. She spoke in a condescending tone, acted annoyed by basic questions, and made the entire experience uncomfortable. It felt like customers were a burden rather than the reason the business exists. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and completely ruins what could have been a decent food shop. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone who expects basic courtesy.

Waited over 10-15mins just to order and even then the person taking my order was so rude like she has been fed up although i was simply trying to get some food. I ordered my food and that was not even worth spending my money and time. Rude behaviour that dont have common sense, manners and customer service in essence. Avoid and do better.

Like the rest of the reviews the 2 older ladies have an attitude problem, if looks could kill mi woulda been dead.KMT.... first of all darling please never tell me prices like I can't afford it... If you had likkle sense when I asked for oxtail with no rice as I wanted to grab more sides as I wouldn't eat the rice... Tip of the day A smart person would have said ok but it's the same price 😂😂 ... Instead you choose to be more difficult when I said the smallest amount rice you emptied the full pot bottom meaning I brought less sides which is less profit , also I'm now throwing most the rice in the bin. Also never coming back to the store after reading this is regular behaviour, this is why we never thrive as black owned business and why some of us have given up on supporting them!

I ordered the stew chicken with rice and peas. It was delicious. The chicken was tender and flavourful. Cooked to perfection. Thank you Carolyn, for your patience but most importantly, excellent customer service. From the start to the end. I’ll visit again once I’m back in Hackney.

The women are extremely rude, and bad tempered. I know better behaved animals. It's just not worth the vist. They get mad when u can't understand the broken english.
