I am a disabled veteran. TopBox is one of the benefits that we get so I signed up for it. I chose the shrimp in the first box that I received. The box arrived and the shrimp was very smelly. I chose not to eat it and called Top Box to ask them to change me to chicken for the meat choice. The woman that I spoke with was super rude and told me that I had to call the VA and tell them. I called the VA and they told me that shrimp was the only choice because they were out of the other meats. As far as the rest of the stuff in the box, they didn’t deliver the eggs because they said that they ran out (the following week the eggs were delivered but not until after I purchased eggs myself. One of the vegetables in the box was something that I don’t believe most people would eat. It was a squash that I did not recognize. There was a nice sweet potato but it was small and barely enough for one serving. As far as the fruit, the bananas were a weird brownish green and actually never ripened. The oranges were light orange/yellow with lots of lines and were not sweet. The apples were bruised and looked old. The only thing I can say that was good is the fact that they contact you several times to let you know that they are coming. They text the day they are coming and send a second text when they are 30 minutes from arrival. I am scheduled to receive another box today and will review it fairly when it arrives.

I have not been getting any meals from this company unless it were delivered from my child school unless I walk in to local free community pantry

I have had a great experience with Top Box. Very friendly and helpful. The food was incredible good. I love getting my produce and meats. Very good quality. Will definitely be buying from them. God bless the people who make this happen. They are incredible.

It should never be this difficult for consumers in need of assistance to reach staff that will reply in concise and timely fashion. They don't seem to care and can't manage websites and phones as well as our elementary students. No one takes charge anywhere we could find after numerous attempts. We're sorry we referred shoppers to this which we thought would help them access better foods easily instead of being ignored or misled by online claims. Worst local marketing mess we've found since pandemic Fall started our months-long search for helpful contacts.

My personal schedule was fluctuating so much and these guys were SO responsive and accommodating for delivery and pick up. The 50% off for amazing local produce for EBT users is excellent - poor folks deserve quality food too !! Thank you again so much.

I made an order online and received a confirmation email that stated "Your order will be processed immediately and delivered as soon as possible, with items being delivered as early as the same day and no later than the next day by 5PM." It's three days later and I'm still waiting. I can't get in touch with anyone either. I've tried calling, emailing, and messaging via FB. It's really OK if the delivery time stated in the email is not accurate, but please just keep your customers updated with some form of communication.

Starting getting TopBox delivered after the markets closed during the pandemic. Always impressed with the box and excited every time it comes. The staff has been great!

The food was great! It was all fresh, clean, produce, protein. It was Easy to prepare. Nourishing, no fat, sugars, or chemicals. The biggest blessing was that they deliver. I have no vehicle and cannot get to my local food pantry. I am elderly on a fixed social security income. I have chronic heart issues, AFib, and osteoarthritis. Their food help is life-saving.

This awesome service is currently (pandemic times) offering delivery of produce boxes to your house! I first learned about this great service because they are partnered with Crescent City Farmer's Market to bring boxes from their purveyors. I had a box delivered a couple of Fridays ago. I knew it would be on a Friday (ordered on Tuesday, I think) and they called me midmorning and told me when to expect the box. Then the delivery person called and said they would be at my house in a few. The box was left at my front door and was chock full of amazing fruits and vegetables and even some backed goods. This week I'm going with the combo box which will have both fruit and veggies. If the box you want says sold out or not available. Then try again next week, they only take a specific number of orders per delivery day for their boxes. When we're not in a pandemic, they deliver to community partners and that's where you pick up. This helps get fresh food to areas without grocery stores and can help get discounts via bulk buying. I'm so grateful for this service right now!

Always been curious about what Top Box was like, but I've never had a car to get to one of their pick-up locations. But, since they're delivering right to your door to promote the health advisements & I'm in desperate need of some healthier food during quarantine, I placed an order with them late last night. Less than 24 hours later, they delivered their18lb+ veggie box. For $20 they gave me a 2 yellow onions, 2 heads of garlic, a head of Boston lettuce, 3 (beautiful!) tomatoes, 2 yellow squash, 2 sweet potatoes, 2 zucchini, 2 red bell peppers, 2 green bell peppers, 1 lb of muschrooms, 1 lb of celery & 1 lb of baby carrots. & everything looks like it's at its peak!
