Top Burger Drive In

Writing a bad review so I’ll keep it short by saying: extremely poor service (cashier is a mute), and overpriced tasteless burgers. $10 just for a dry ass burger (their Top Burger). Could’ve went to McDonalds and spent less to receive more. Top Burger was trash 6 years ago when I ate here last, and it has gotten a lot worse, 6 years later.

This place used to have a 5 star review from me, but unfortunately I think they changed owners? Or something? I’m not even sure.. we walked to the outside window, like we used to. And some older woman said before we could even get there “if you don’t have pets, go around” I’ve never ordered inside.. Once inside, we were being rang up by some teen, who was learning, and half way through our order, he was replaced by the same old lady who just randomly decided he’s being too slow. Once we’re ordered, paid, and waiting, we’re asked if we’re going to-go to wait outside. Like what? After waiting 30 minutes we receive our food, and we’re both extremely disappointed.. burger patties are very obviously frozen, and over cooked.. I asked for no tomato, or pickle, got both. My fiancé asked for no lettuce, and got that as well. Ordered a LARGE tater tot, and got this sad bad of soggy tater tots.. and their ranch went from good home made ranch, to now just seasoned mayo? End of the day we spent the same, or more than 5guys, and the food was painfully worse than 5guys.. very sad to see another old local place go down hill, and will not be back.. and will no longer recommend them.

Me and my wife decided to stop in to our favorite burger place for lunch. Was very disappointed by the food, service and price for what we got. My wife got a “burger on shredded lettuce” if you could call it that. It was like they threw an over salted patty with a tablespoon of shredded lettuce and slice of tomato and no sauce. Used to love this place but would not recommend.

Order at the counter. No combos, everything is ala cart. My onion rings were thinly covered in panko and fried crispy. Tasted fine, though I prefer a corn meal batter. Chocolate shake was thick as I like it. The kitchen and dining room were very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of parking and quiet country setting.

Really nice older drive in. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a drive thru. Service was great with friendly faces. My son had a burger and fries and I had a bowl of chili and fries, all was good and very tasty. Thank you! Will be back again!

Went in on a Summer Tuesday afternoon, it was not very crowded so very quick service. Our cashier was a bit behind in our order but other than that the service was very fast! I would not recommend the lemonade it was quite nasty and warm and very sour. Other than that the chicken sandwich was amazing!

This place was great when I was a teen, 20 years later this place is still great. Super burger comes with half pound patty and massive buns. Good with sautéed onions and jalapeños added to it. Jalapeños were actually spicy. Yum

From the moment I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted and promptly asked if I was ready to order. The friendly staff suggested the barbecue pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, which I eagerly accepted. The sandwich was accompanied by a side of flavorful fries that were perfectly seasoned. Despite the cozy dining area, the cleanliness was impressive. The service was incredibly efficient, and my food arrived swiftly. The short drive to my work site was filled with the mouthwatering aromas of my meal, and I couldn't wait to dive in. As soon as I parked, I devoured the tender and delicious pork sandwich. Every aspect of my experience, from the welcoming staff to the pleasant ambiance and exceptional food, was truly excellent! I snapped a photo of the menu and can't wait to return and try their burgers next

The service is amazing. Food is good also. The owner is such a sweet and caring person not only to the guests but the employees. Definitely a place I would want to work for in my younger days. You don't find places like this anymore.

My daughter is home from San Diego for Christmas and was craving Top Burger. She ordered, then went to pick up her food. When she got home, she discovered that they bun on her burger was covered with mold. She calmly went back and told them. She got nothing from them. No apology, not gift card for having to go through all of that, nothing. I have heard not great things about the ownership there, and now I know that they do not train their employees to properly serve their customers. We have been regular customers fo over 30 years. NEVER againn will we go back.

Top Burger is wonderfully convenient to enjoy a meal before or after a visit to nearby Round Lake or Lacamas Lake. Both the building and the menu have classic drive-in features, making it feel welcoming and retro satisfying. While waiting to place our orders, there were signs informing customers that everything is cooked to order, so this is another point in their favor, differentiating themselves from fast food. Even though we were placing a simple order, there was a heartening array of choices to be made - fries, tots, or onion rings, seasoning or no seasoning on the tots, multiple cheese options for the burgers, raw or sautéed for the onions. The folks working at the counter were friendly and efficient, just what I hoped for. Looking forward to a return visit so I can try their shakes.

If you're looking for a classic burger place in camas then you might want to check this place out. The food is great, especially the ice cream , the whole vibe of the place is very cool as well with a whole bunch of 1950's style decor, my only gripe is that the service can be a tad slow on occasion but I can understand due to how small the kitchen is. Overall I would highly recommend whether you're in the mood for a burger or maybe you just want some ice cream, it's the perfect summer stop. Overall I would highly recommend!

Ate here while visiting family and it was so yummy! The seasoning on the fries was a surprise but it was super good. I got a lavender milkshake which was amazing! Now i'm on the search for one near me. Service was very nice as we ordered at drive thru and even though the parking lot was packed our food came out very timely. Would recommend as a good burger joint for here.

Well it all depends on who is working. Staffed by high school students, this place is a complete disorganised clusterfunk if there is no adult supervisors. Stand around, look cool, chat to your friends..... Work? What's that? Seriously ordered a milkshake. That's it. There were no other customers in the drive up or inside. 15 minutes later I go inside....."well the ice cream is hard"......... Must be waiting for it to liquefy...... 4 stars when adults are in charge, 1 star when it's the Kiddie Klown Show.

Such a disappointment! Had a $7 hamburger (see photo)and an ice cream cone. I was charged for water (well actually the cup), and sprinkles (about 50 of them)on the cone .. 25¢. I spoke with the owner and she had every excuse why she was charging so much and nickel and diming her customers. Prices ridiculously high given the quality.

I really had high hopes. First and definitely last time here. It was way too expensive for what you get. $40 for three people to eat 3 burgers, Large fry and 2 sodas. Dried up and over cooked burgers that were suppose to be quarter pound of beef... this is debatable. Maybe we came on a bad day but I won't be back.

Absolutely love this place! So much better than the chain fast food places. I go out of my way to go here because the food is really good, the service is good.

It was amazing!! I've been craving jalapeños for the past couple months and this is the only place that did it for me! I've had jalapeño burgers at sooo many other places and none of them even compared to this place.

Top burger is a staple of the camas community. Reminds me of the way burger shops are supposed to be. They offer chicken, fish, hot dogs, burgers, corn dogs, and everything is really tasty. My daughters love the corn dogs while am a fan of their burgers, fries, and milkshakes/malts. It's an important note that this is not some McDonald's that throws together the food for you in 2 min. They make the food fresh. It tastes delicious, but I'd they're busy I'd be prepared to wait a bit. There's a work around though if you know what you want in advance. Give them a call with 15-20 notice and they'll have the food ready for you when you arrive. If you use their drive through, they'll have you pull into a spot and bring it out to the car! Great service, tasty food, I'll be back for sure.

Locals always give 5 stars, well earned well loved reliable freshly made food and great service. Sure the big companies are faster but here in the northwest we ain't in no hurry. Great food is so worth the wait. Can't beat the fries! Come on now locals.. I know there's a lot more local support for this local iconic spot. This shorter rating of 3 stars is just to keep others away.., We know better. Worth every penny

Small Town eatery with drive thru service. Service was great and the staff was very friendly and polite. Although my fries were OVER salted I would definitely recommend TB and love supporting small business such as this. So let it be written... So let it be EATEN.

This is a great spot for dinner. We like to come after sports or a trip to the park. Or order ahead via phone and pick up at the drive thru. The burgers are better when you add the grilled onions. My kids love the corn dogs and chicken nuggets. The iced cream is always great especially the Maui waui. They always give so many fries too so it's great.

The local favorite drive-in burger joint is alive and well in Top Burger, churning out better burgers, baskets, seafood, salads, sandwiches and shakes than the franchise titans duking it out just down the street! Restaurant quality burgers at fast food prices are moments away, available via their drive-thru, dine-in and walk-up ordering stations, as well as a superior selection of sides, many of which you won't find on a competitor's menu. Slap on some sauteed onions, a side of seasoned fries, and your favorite shake, and you'll be fat, happy and waddling around for the rest of the day, without breaking the bank!

If I could give zero stars I would. This place used to be soo good. Terrible service, didn't get my order right, overcooked the food. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I've only been here a few times, but each time I have left feeling very happy about the quality of their burgers, fries, and shakes. Plenty of parking on site and the service is both fast and friendly. This summer the dining room is not open, but at least they have picnic tables and umbrellas to enjoy your meal just outside. The one downfall I see, is the price. You'll spend on average anywhere from $15-$20 per person. That said, I'll be back again and again.

Service is garbage. Gave them three different cards from three different banks and they didn't go through. They then have the audacity to say that it is '"my bank." Ignorance at its best.

10$ for a 16 oz shake and a small handful of fries? What happened to this place? Won't be back.

Possibly the worst food place in Camas. Management seems to be awful and abusive to the staff. Food is incredibly slow. Burger is very small and mediocre. Fries are soggy. Gross food, slow service, amazingly high prices. Let this place disappear. Not worth anyone's time.

No wonder I haven't been here in a decade. They told us twice that the lobby was closing even though they don't close for another hour. Who closes the lobby at 6pm on a Saturday night when it's busy? Finally get to the counter and I'm obviously ordering for three people... And before I can even get each order out, the girl behind the counter is like, is that all? Then I pay 46 bucks for our food, and she says again that the lobby is closed! Like we got it the first two times! Can we not wait inside for our food? So rude. Everything was so bland, like they didn't even use salt. I didn't know onion rings could taste bad. No seasoning on tots and they were so overcooked they disintegrated to dust when I chewed them. The ranch was like straight Mayo with no ranch flavor. The milkshake was good but that's pretty hard to screw up. Guess I'll wait another decade to try it out.

Stopped in for a burger today, I love supporting a local small business but this place is a no go. A 30 minute wait for a $20 burger and soggy fries? Literally could have gone to Five Guys for the price. And burger was not great. Gross veggies, gross fries. Beware of this place.

Great burgers and great service. I ordered a 20 person lunch for a work crew and Top Burger was able to provide us all the burger/fry meals in a timely manor.

I love this place. The food is consistently great but during our most recent visit, the customer service was exceptional. After ordering and paying, we were told our wait would be 25 minutes. We had tickets to a play that started a short time later. They offered to refund our money if we didn't get our food in time. The manager then came out and we told him our time crunch. He offered to cook himself so we could get to the play on time. And he did and we did! Great food and great customer service!!!

I ordered 1 jalapeño burger with sautéed onions. Order placed at 1:26pm, I went up to the pickup window at 1:43 because I thought maybe they had forgot about my order. Workers would open the window to hand food to the 1 million kids that order food after school (probably what sustains their business). I would try to ask about my food and they would rudely hurry to close it without acknowledging that I was standing there. After the third attempt I was finally able to say something before they closed the window on me. I told them I wanted a refund because I had to go, they said okay and closed the window again. Came back at 1:48 and said my food was 3 tickets away I said I needed to leave. Then an older lady in the background says 30 more seconds for it to be ready..... I told her I had been waiting 25 min for 1 burger. Her response "well yeah, we're busy" I finally get my burger, leave and of course it's cold bland and without my sautéed onions. If they were working on it as they were speaking why was it cold literally a minute later? I will never, ever go back. My son goes to Liberty and spends money there a few times a week, he is no longer allowed to spend my money there.

They have the appearance of a short order drive up, with quick service. The experience was anything but. a burger, fry, and drink cost almost $20, I waited 40 minutes for my food and it was cold by the time I got it. Decided to eat it anyways Only to realize that it wasnt what I had ordered (missing bacon and onion I had ordered) Honestly wont be going back to this place. Save your money, go anywhere else.

Drive through was awkwardly staged, was parked as the only car in the drive through and finally the food was dry and bland as well.

1st time at this little restaurant. We were driving through and saw the reviews were really good. We really enjoyed our food it was hot it was fresh. It was really good and we live in Oregon but we plan on coming on a weekend and just having a really good meal. The young lady who helped us at the window was super sweet. I just really appreciated the fact that the French fries were hot and fresh , and I'm not a big onion ring person my husband is I would actually order these for myself they were very good and they were hot. Yeah a lot of places give you some of your food is cold this place really made me happy with the freshness of the food. Would definitely come back again.

Who needs in n out burger. Who needs 5 guys. Who needs Nancy Jo's. Top burger is the best burger joint in the area. Burgers, tots, milkshakes, they have it covered. The only place I can compare this to is Skyline burger. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly. The only downside is the space is small two the seating is limited.

Restroom unavailable due to restroom sink out of order. No indoor seating until repaired, Owner could supply a portable along with a washing station. One of our family favorites but it needs some TLC.

I took my niece here to get her some ice cream and a grilled cheese for my last day in town as a special lunch. I ended up ordering a papa burger with onions and pepper jack cheese. My burger came out but they forgot her grilled cheese and we ended up waiting an additional 10 minutes after the 25 minutes for the burger to come out. My burger was so dry and chewy it was like a dog jerky treat, except I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. No onions were on my burger either. The fries were drowned in salt so I went around to the side window to just ask to buy 3 bottles of water and the girl working told me to wait in the line of 8-10 people who kept cutting one another and didn't know what they wanted. There's no sense of order or structure with this establishment. They will not save you any of your time, they move at a glacial pace and are so disorganized. I'm done with this place, I will not come back. They quoted me 15 minutes just to scoop my nieces ice cream so we're off to somewhere else to get ice cream! What a joke.

What a flashback for me! Out cruzin' and hangin out like all of us did way back when......hop in the Hot-Rod and make your way to the local burger joint. For all you youngsters, places like Top Burger were everywhere. Now only a few remain. Great food, atmosphere and memories abound. Treat yourself and make Top Burger a future food stop!

I really like this place. The food is super cheap for what you get. The staff is really nice and friendly. The food is honestly really good. I daydream about their chili fries! So good! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they got my order wrong a couple times. I wish they would pay more attention, and if they are out of something, tell you when you order. Not just make you something completely different, and just say "oh sorry, we were out of what you ordered so we made you this other thing". Why not ask if we want something else before making the food? You know where we are.

Would be nice if this BUSINESS answered its phone! We have tried many time but it rings off the hook.

Been coming to top Burger for years. Used to bring my kids here after Little league ballgames. They have a great diverse menu and delicious hand dipped shakes and ice cream. At this time they are doing takeout window and drive up only.Today I had the top burger add cheese. Also onion rings :-) strawberry shake to top it off! If you have never been here before, then you should definitely get up here and do it! A neighborhood restaurant that hits the spot.

There is this one employee who is old and short I think her name is Debbie and I saw her mistreating her employees and their burgers taste like Dairy Queen. The establishment was kept very dirty and unswept. Shouldn't eat here :(

We waited at the drive thru window for almost 10 min with no acknowledgement whatsoever. The girl inside was taking orders from people who walked in well after we were in line, there were 5 of them total. When she finally opened the window, we were told any food we ordered would take at least 25 min. Needless to say we left. Terrible customer service.

very rude long. Wait time when I got there there's somebody getting arrested. I don't really like the customer service and I think it could be a lot better.

3rd stop on my 2018 PDX Take Out Grilled Chicken Sandwich Throw Down. Here is how the scoring went: Venue: clean, fun, retro drive through burger joint. Small parking lot but easy street parking and has a drive through window. It's also dog friendly!!! 8/10 Service: really nice and helpful staff. 8/10 Bread/Bun: it was a decent bun, nothing special 6/10 Other Stuff: comes with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and mayo. Very fresh vegetables. 7/10 Chicken Taste: the chicken was tasted fine but could use a little more seasoning. 7/10 Chicken Tenderness: This was a very moist and tender chicken breast 9/10 Value: at $5.99 the value was very good given the size of the portion, however, if you add $1.99 for fries to be comparable to others it brings the total cost to $8. 9/10 Score: 54/70 (77%) This is a really good grilled chicken sandwich. This sandwich is very basic but the chicken is cooked to perfection. With a great piece of chicken, you don't need a lot of other stuff. It is one of the most popular venues in Camas. Check it out.

I'm not sure how I bookmarked Top Burger in Carson since this is an area that's definitely out of my way. But that's alright, coming to Top Burger gave me an opportunity to explore an area of the state I haven't been to. I got a deluxe type burger here which has all of the toppings. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions and all of that. Also included in the burger was a thin slice of ham which I thought was unusual but wasn't offputting with the burger. The french fries were good along with a special sauce as it was called which amounted to a pretty solid diner style meal here. The staff was friendly and we had prompt service so no complaints there.

Better plan ahead to spend an hour waiting for your measly little burger. Or anything. No matter what you order, it will friggin take friggin-for-friggin-ever

We've been here several times. We LOVE the burgers and fries. They have low carb/keto options. You can add bacon and caramelized onions to any burger. We did try the fish and chips once but it was very average. Highly recommend staying with the burger menu. Our 9yo who doesn't usually like burgers really likes Top Burger. She says the food is fresh and the fries are delicious. The staff are always nice and cheerful.

If you are looking for an amazing milkshake, this is the place! Enjoy a hard ice cream milkshake made to order. Personally, I love the chocolate and fresh banana milkshake. It is always flavorful, creamy and smooth with small chunks of the banana which is a great added bonus. To really top off the order, get the seasoned french fries or tater tots! Their burgers are also great for an old, classic style hamburger. To add to your experience, walk up to order your food and then take it across the street to Crown Park to enjoy the setting as well as a great meal.

I've been meaning to leave a review and I'm glad I waited because the service I received was not just a one time thing. This is a family owned business that cares. The food is amazing. Fresh with great flavor. I can't wait to go back.

Our go to for shakes, chicken strips, fries and tots for years and years. Would always stop and grab lunch to take on our walk around Lacamas. Just sad that the lake area is so crowded now it makes it miserable. Every single time my daughter comes home from college it still won't stop her from going to get her usual. Service and quality has not changed since covid though so it will be a mainstay with our family.

Had to wait more than 20 min for 2 milkshakes so I knocked a couple stars off. However, the milk shakes were delicious and I would still highly recommend getting a milkshake from here.

We LOVE Top Burger the food is amazing and the staff is really nice. The reason I am writing this though is because while we were there last, they seemed rather busy. Our order was taken and while waiting for our drinks we heard - what we assume is a manager or higher up staff- absolutely berate the cashier very rudely in front of us for not asking if we wanted sauce. I work in food service and understand it's important to ask all the questions to make money and keep up sales/deplete stock. However, it is never acceptable to be so rude to staff, especially within guest ear shot. It can be stressful when busy and easy to forget things. Next time please calmly remind them about the other items they need to ask for without the rude "well you need to open your ears"/etc comments.

Insanely bad customer service. I would fire any employee who acted this way in my business. I asked for dipping sauce for my fries "$0.49" was the response. Ok, that's silly but i handed over my card to pay. "I'm sorry, we can't run a card for less than a dollar" This is after I watched someone who I believe is the owner bring several bottles of extra sauce to a table behind me, for free. How is a place who will treat their customers this way still in business? Maybe this is why garbage like McDonald's are putting these places out of business. I'm never going back, and this was our regular stop before my daughters scouts meeting. What a great way to treat a customer who actually tips at your drive through burger joint. SMH

Great place for a burger, fries & a shake! Service is always great so stop by especially during the summer!
