The Best Restaurants in Beaverton

"The Beaverton location of this Portland-based Burmese restaurant group may be one of its most popular: In a lush dining room filled with monsteras and pothos, visitors drink flower-topped cocktails while waiting for plates of sweet mango wings and crispy, golden-fried samosas. Regulars typically head straight for the thokes, tea leaf salads dotted with nuts and seeds, though the restaurant’s nuanced coconut noodle soup — the restaurant’s take on khow suey, a relative of Southeast Asian soups like laksa and khao soi — is a perpetually popular hit." - Krista Garcia

We stopped in for a lite lunch. Ordered some small plates to nosh on. During this visit, we had the entire place to ourselves. Small plates came out fast and they were great. The tumeric fries weren't what I was envisioning, but good none the less.

Google
I give 5 stars for ambiance. Very nice tropical setting on dim lighting. The mango chutney wings could be crisper, and the chicken curry could cut back the salt by a third. I loved the crispy garlic pea pod...delicious. Really enjoyed the coconut and avocado ice cream combo...perfect!

Have tried this restaurant recently for a dinner dine-in. Pretty cozy ambience with dim lighting. Good vegetarian options. I Have ordered samosas, shan noodles with Tofu, coconut noodle soup - khao soi (tofu). All were pretty good, must try’s. Don’t miss out on strawberry falooda at the end. Pretty good service. No Complaints.

We went at 4 pm, definitely an odd time, on a holiday Mon afternoon. We were the only table there and got our choice of seating. Opted to sit indoors since it was a warm day. Street parking BTW Decor is a little overdone but fun for someone coming from out of town. We opted for a Khao Soi and a family style meal for the rest. Khao Soi portion seemed ok but the curries in the family style were definitely small. Don’t know what their regular portion size is. Was a little on the pricier side for what we got. The taste and flavors were not something to get excited about. Was pretty close to what you would get eating at home. The robot server was cool but again part of that overdone decor

Love all the food here! The curries are so delicious and I love the drinks too! It’s always so flavorful and I love that they have non-spicy things for me and very spicy things for my friends.

Google
Ordered Tamarind hot wings. 2 Wings are good but got 2 leg pieces in same plate. That was hard and dry looks like old meat. Then Atho was ok for kids but too sweet not for adults who likes spicy food. Then ordered fallooda is just strawberry ice cream that’s not fallooda.

Google
The food here is delicious! The wait staff is super friendly, too. The atmosphere is pleasant. When I went with a party of 3 on a Thursday evening with no reservations, the wait was about 20 min. There is no parking at the restaurant, so you need to fend for yourself by finding nearby street parking. There are free public parking lots just a few blocks away. Stop in when you're in the neighborhood. The food is so good!

Google
Very disappointed with the food quality. The quality and quantity both are lacking here. Also, the specials here are another level joke. You charge $40 bucks just for salad and main course. The tea that we ordered wasn’t even the tea. At least didn’t taste like a tea. Very overpriced food but lacking quality and taste. I gave 1 star for service. Didn’t get to sit inside so zero star for ambiance. In-short Over priced food with no quality/quantity whatsoever. Look at the dish in the picture. If you are charging $25 for that, then at least present it in the coconut like Asian fusion. Horrible! Never coming back.

Yelp
Friday lunch time and it wasn't too busy. Most people were coming to pick up food they ordered to go. Burmese food always tastes fresh and not too heavy. I've been to NW location and this place was just as consistent. Wings & Samosa Platter, Salad, and Curry was enough for 3 people. You can't go wrong with any of their options with in.

Yelp
Service: unknown we got take out Ambiance: 8/10 loved it, so cute. Nice lighting lots of plants. Food: 3/10 I got take out from here but the flavor was the issue. I love salt but way too salty. Good quantities but overpriced for the lack of flavor. Chicken coconut curry: 3/10 way too salty, not a lot of flavor. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Coconut noodle soup w Chicken: 3/10 the chicken was very very salty. This is similar to a Kao soy but it lacked flavor. Paratha: 7/10 super buttery and flakey. Very nice. Bermese Dessert Cake: 6/10 dense coconut cake. Really unique spongy texture.

Yelp
Top Burmese in downtown Portland was one of my favorite restaurants. The flavors were bold, the plating was vivid, and the authenticity was on point. Unfortunately, in their expansion down the highway to Beaverton, something was lost along the way. I was so excited to have the Burmese food so much closer to my home only to be disappointed. The "Shoo Share" Salad, my favorite dish, has lost its spicy splendor. The "Eggplant Curry" and the "Fried Fish Filet" tasted mostly of salt and little else. To be fair, there are still some standouts. The "Tumeric Fries" we were fighting over for the last crumb: perfectly fried and seasoned. The "Gold Samosas" were perfectly proportioned and stuffed with fluffy, delicious potato. And the "Khao Soi" is just as rich, creamy, kind of buttery it's always been. I'll always love Top Burmese for providing so many exciting vegan and vegetarian options. The plating is still chic, and the expanded store in Beaverton gives way more room to breathe. The vibe sort of feels like a fully realized and fleshed out Pok Pok (rip), with retro styling that's part elegant part retro Burmese pop. The servers were incredibly attentive and kind. But sadly, the Beaverton location lacks the crackling pizzazz, zest, and soul that I felt in the original Top Burmese.

Yelp
Bistro Royal Top Burmese in Oregon is a dinner experience like no other! As soon as you walk in, you're struck by the futuristic vibe, as robots are serving your meal. One of the most memorable moments was when my salad arrived--not only beautiful and so colorful but accompanied by a glove for me to mix the salad by hand! It added a fun, interactive twist to the meal. I love me some quirky touches. If you're up for something different, Bistro Royal Top Burmese is a must-visit!

Yelp
Four stars for vibe interior and energy from both hosts but only had two servers and after a long wait finally got our orders...? Still not sure exactly why but this spot is always crowded and everyone speaks highly of the food? Outside of the pickled cucumbers and fried tilapia...Everything was just ok, sadly? Really wanted to love this spot but will try once more and if anyone has suggestions please lmk?

Yelp
What a fantastic spot to try fresh, bright flavors! We were a group and shared our food family style. The GLP wings and veggie samosas were a big hit among the appetizers. The coconut noodle soup was by far the most loved main and everyone enjoyed the coconut ice cream with chunks of fresh coconut. Yum! The only thing we were not thrilled by were the cocktails and mocktails. They all sounded incredible but none of them were enjoyed at our table and we tried 5. I would love to give a big shout out to our waiter, Abdul, who was very attentive to our group and took excellent care of us all evening, even with two tired kids in tow.

Yelp
The atmosphere is great and so is the outdoor seating. On a nice day, you may be able to snag a parklet table which is covered so it won't be too sunny or windy. Though I love the atmosphere, I can't say the same for everything on the menu. I appreciate traditional Burmese food very much so for me it's a disappointment to not have a lot of options to choose from such as: Mohinga or shan noodles or fermented rice. I have eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed the non-fried dishes like the shoo share salad. The grass jelly drink is also one of my favorite drinks and they have a pretty decent bar if you're looking for a cocktail. During my last trip I did experience mild food poisoning so I'm hoping the owners and staff will do a better job keeping the cleaning supplies away from the food supplies as the meal had a somewhat 'sanitized' smell. My most serious criticism would probably be the dress-code by the staff. Many times there are people working who just looked like they rolled out of bed or haven't washed their clothing in a while which is a little off-putting as I would want my food handled by people who take their jobs seriously in that they wouldn't want pet-hair etc. falling into the plates of food.

Yelp
Im not sure why they mention robot servers. I didn't see that (though I sat outside). I ordered the "day off" drink, which comes in a whole coconut. It was ok, looked cool but seemed inferior to similarly flavored cocktails at Farmhouse Thai. For food I got the beef curry. I'm insane for a beef/rice dish from Bali. Granted, Burma is not the same as Bali, so I shouldn't necessarily compare them. But despite similar ingredients this was definitely a simpler flavor profile, less epic. And a little oversalted, even after adding the rice. Servers are young and nice enough. It's a pleasant scene. I might come back and give them a second chance with the chicken curry.

Yelp
Came on a Tuesday night just before close and was able to be seated and order before the kitchen closed. The star of the show were the quail eggs! So good with the lime squeezed over and mixed with the chili crisps and cilantro. Veggie samosas were crispy and flaky which I liked. The eggplant curry wasn't bad but I felt like it was missing some flavor - like it was a bit muted. Overall I really liked this meal and would come back to try their other items.

Yelp
The service was great went at 1 today so it was a bit slow. The restaurant is beautifully decorated great lunch date with my wife. The food was presented beautifully though it wasn't quite to our taste not saying it was bad but a bit too salty for our liking. Great experience.

Yelp
As first-time visitors to a Burmese restaurant, we were blown away! The Khao Soi was creamy and comforting, the Fried Fish was crispy and flavorful, and the Samosa Soup was a unique and satisfying starter. We loved dining outdoors with our pet and can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Yelp
This was mr first time trying burmese food. It felt to me like a mix of thai and indian food and reminded my me of my trip to Cambodia. Regardless, the food here is delicious and there are options for everyone. Even our very picky guest was happy. The waiter was incredibly nice and helpful, and food came in an ideal amount of time. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a carefully curated aesthetic. Highly recommended visiting!

Yelp
What a treat! The ambiance, food, experience, all was fantastic. Staff were friendly and welcoming, plus the restaurant was accommodating for a larger group. As many of us had not been before, we ordered quite the array of food to try. The lemon pepper wings were cooked to perfection and had a slight vinegar taste that was incorporated. The samosas were light and very flavorful. Green tea salad was unique and delicious. Chicken curry was good, but really salty. I wasn't as much of a fan but flavor was still OK. Beef curry was tender. I didn't see any veggies in the curries? All in all food was well received and the drinks were the stars of the shows. Many with butterfly tea to give a fun visual for the "mood changer" drink. Also don't forget about the robot food servers! So much fun.

Yelp
Raven, our waitress was so Amazing! Her bubbly personality made up for the other servers! Her knowledge about each food item was so helpful to all of us, we were all very happy with our food choices. The food is delicious, and flavorful, not too salty, but has some spice!
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
I really did not enjoy the food, it was much too salty. The service was okay, which is why I rated it 2 stars. The ambiance is chill, and nothing too fancy. I truly just did not like the food. I have been twice now to ensure I just didn't order the wrong thing on the menu, but it just is not for me. There are much better restaurants I would recommend, and for better pricing as well.

Yelp
Delicious and unique Burmese meals. Very fun to get service from the robots :) They have a pink watermelon martini that was very good as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Authentic Burmese food served in a modern establishment complete with robots that move through the darkened restaurant interior to deliver dishes. It was a pleasant evening so we opted to sit outside in the covered patio section, and had the most delightful human server, Kennedy. Her recommendations and service were spot on. I enjoyed the pumpkin curry dish with steamed rice and a vegetarian appetizer, and they also have a variety of meat- based dishes, which my husband enjoyed. Reservations are recommended because they get busy. Parking is as you can find it on the street, but we found a spot within a couple of blocks. Friendly staff who seem to really enjoy introducing folks to Burmese cuisine.

Yelp
Never disappoints! My favorite is the okra curry! The ambiance is really fun and their drinks are good too. I always look forward to eating here

Yelp
Finally tried this spot to see the robot-servers in action! Ordered their Samosas, Beef Curry, Chicken Khao Soi, all were so tasty- their Chicken Samosas are a MUST order for me! The entrees were a bit heavy for my liking, I had to bring both back home to eat with more rice! Super flavorful curries I would definitely come back again, perhaps order an extra side of rice or flatbreads. The inside seems very luxe with the dark environment, but I love all the greenery inside :)

Yelp
This is a must-try restaurant for vegan food! The veggie samosas are the perfect blend of spice without being overpowering. I always get their coconut noodle soup with tofu.
google avatar

Santiago M.

Yelp
Yummy food, brought to you by a funny robot. The samosas, chicken appetizer were tasty and the tofu soup dish was delicious. Overall nice experience. Wish the portions were little bigger but is seems most restaurants have smaller portions now.
google avatar

Yelp
Restaurant was decorated and well put together. Food was good as it was my first time trying Burmese food, however I unfortunately got sick right after eating here. I could have just had a sensitive stomach but overall a great spot!

Yelp
Top Burmese Bistro is truly a staple in Beaverton! It's gotten so much recognition online and on Yelp. Everytime I go here, I always get the sense of authentic Burmese food since it's always so homey and flavorful. Loved the robots that serve you. I feel so awkward anytime anyone brings me food so this helped haha. The service was great either way though! We got the: Samosas which were AMAZING with the sauce Tamarind Wings - would come back just for this Coconut Noodle Soup with Chicken Young Coconut for fresh coconut juice and meat Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Burmese cuisine!

Tony N.

Yelp
Food was good but didn't seem as tasty as the Beaverton location. Service was very good, as expected based on previous experiences. Nice little restaurant with a fun ambiance. I will go back, especially to the Beaverton location.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times, and have had good experiences. Last night was a bad experience, specifically with the lack of hospitality from the hostesses. I came here for dinner last night with my Burmese family who's visiting from out of town. I was so excited to bring them here, because they love Burmese food. Upon checking in with the hostess for our reservation, we were taken to one of the tall tables with barstools. My mother-in-law is 4' 10", has vertigo, and had a really difficult time trying to get up onto the barstool, despite assistance from two other people. She became dizzy, almost fell off the barstool due to its height and how much the stool moved around on the slick tile floor, and ultimately told us she could not sit there. So, I went to the hostess and told her that we couldn't sit there because it was unsafe for my MIL, and asked to please sit at a shorter table. We were told our only option was for a table out on the patio, but it was chilly and my in-laws get cold very easily, so that was not a good option. I pointed to an empty, short table indoors, directly behind me, that would work perfectly, and asked to sit there, but was told that the table was reserved for a party of five (we were a party of 4). I then asked if the party of five had specifically requested that table, and was told no, they hadn't, but we still couldn't sit there because they had already added an additional chair to the table to accommodate the fifth person. Mind you, there were four hightop tables available that they could have easily added a fifth barstool to. After a little nonsensical back and forth with the hostesses, and them being rude and less than understanding to my MIL's health concerns, they rolled their eyes and sat us at the short table I had requested. Cool, thanks for doing the bare minimum of your job, and being bitchy the whole time...WTF? Our server was decent, nothing spectacular, and was the only server for the entire restaurant. Our food and drinks were a little pricey for the portion size, (our bill was $200) but they arrived in a timely manner, and were yummy. I probably won't be back to this restaurant. Yes, the food is good, but it doesn't outshine the bad vibes and rudeness of the hostesses. There are plenty of restaurants in PDX that have better food and superior service, so I'll take my money there. Oh, and the party of five that the table was reserved for never even showed! LOL all that fuss from the hostesses for nothing.
google avatar

Ankita T.

Yelp
I ordered Shan noodles. The menu doesn't specify it comes with ground chicken. It was hard to decipher the chicken flavor from the rest of the dish. It is served cold too. Not a fan. We were a big party so gratuity was already added but I wasn't happy with the service. It was slow and we waited to order our entrees for a long time. Cocktails are expensive for what they are. More stress on how they look but lacking in flavor combinations. The place left much to the desire.

Yelp
Technically I give them a 3.5 but there are no half stars. We drove past this two weeks ago and wanted to try them but instead got sushi. So we finally made it here. As you walk the ambiance is nice kinda dark but nice. We were seated immediately. As we ordered we asked our waiter what's good so she gave her recommendations and we tried it except she didn't try the biriyani as it was the first day on the menu. We started off with the quail eggs, and the chicken and vegetable samosas. The quail eggs fell short in flavor a little lack luster. However the samosas were great you really can't tell the difference in the chicken and the vegetable as they both have lots of potatoes. For the entrees I will say it's pricey for the portion. We ordered the chicken biryani and the chicken curry. The biriyani was just ok. But when we tried the chicken curry that was delicious could had more sauce but nonetheless the flavors were there. I don't think we will be back but they have another restaurant that we would be willing to try because it's on our list to try. Hopefully that one is better. They probably would of got four stars but the service was horrible. One they don't have any plastic or Togo utensils, nor do they have salt shakers. When we ordered dessert we asked to get our table cleared no one came to clear it. And when the gentleman gave us the dessert he held the spoon on the eating part with his thumb pressing on it kinda gross.
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
Had a chance to come back! Today had the Shan noodles, a gorgeous yummy dish with veggies and chicken curry. Once to mix it all up it was fantastic! So savory! The prices definitely went up since 2020 but it's totally justified! Love the beautiful atmosphere and the delicious food!

Cheran W.

Yelp
Always great food and service this is one of our favorite restaurants to take our guests to when they visit from out of town.
google avatar

Yelp
What an awesome experience! Not just the robots and setting... The food and server (Abdul) were equally delightful!!! This was our first experience here and it really could not have been better! Abdul suggested the lychee beer- it was so flavorful and smooth. My husband had the Pilsner which he said was pretty good. We then had the samosa and chicken wings platter. Highly recommend the sweet mango wings - yummy! Samosas were very good too... crispy and cooked perfectly. Then we had the tea leaf salad and pumpkin curry - two great choices to round off our meal. But wait, we couldn't leave without trying dessert - the strawberry falooda was not too sweet but definitely the perfect dessert to end on. Can't wait to come back for Valentine's Day dinner!!!

Yelp
Top Burmese Bistro is one of the best restaurants in the Portland area. It's got a great ambience with moody lighting and exotic decor (and the delivery robots are a fun and unique addition). The food is not only a window into a culture that isn't always well represented in world cuisine, but also has a creative flair all of its own. The samosa soup is a particularly good example -- the actual liquid portion is served in a pourable container so that the ingredients that are best served cold or crispy (the fried samosa bits and the fresh veggies) don't get soggy on the way to the table. The result is a dish with a wonderful blend of flavors and textures that remain distinct from one another in each bite. The quail eggs are also an exciting dish, and like many things on the menu, are something you've likely never tasted before. Myanmar (formerly called Burma) is situated between India and China, and their cuisine is a rare blend of the culinary traditions of both. If you're in the mood for a fresh and adventurous meal, it's hard to beat this unique classic Portland spot.

Yelp
Honestly this place is a vibe and just that. I feel like the prices are high just for the atmosphere and drinks. The drinks were bomb , I can say that. It's nice to feel like you're in a little boujee hole in the wall place. The food was definitely mid as hell for the price that it was. I got the chicken curry noodle soup and it was alright but just didn't come with enough . My friend got the samosas soup and they literally cut up one samosas with chickpeas and gave you curry on the side. I was like .... Giiiirl how was that even 20 dollars lol I can say that even though it was busy the service was good. My server was running around busy but she had an amazing attitude even though she was all over the restaurant. And lastly the robot server is very underwhelming and kind of weird that it just pulls up and you're like ???? Is this my food? Do I grab it? It could be mine or the folks next to us?? what is this lol I also don't like that it'll come near your table and then your food is just in the mix of being around people waiting In line or even right In front of the cold door opening and closing. But ayeee it was super busy for a Monday so obviously people like it for some reason. I'd probably go again for drinks and the vibe and just stick with appetizers next time.

Yelp
What an amazing place, I was trying Burmese for the first time and it was so warm, got me closer to my home, India. One of my friends suggested I try the place and so glad that it didn't disappoint at all. Went for dinner with friends and food was so good. We got Samosas, Parathas and Chicken curry, Okra curry and Tofu curry coconut noodles. Everything tasted so good, okra curry was a surprisingly so good. Decor is the winner as well, surrounding with lots of plants and greenery, definitely my kinda place
google avatar

Jen V.

Yelp
Overall this place was a fun experience but can't say I'm eager to come back. The robots, drinks, and appetizers were a success. As someone who loves curry - this is where I was disappointed. The beef curry was very overwhelming and the chicken curry - although yummy - lacked a punch. If we are in the area I'd come back and stick with the whiskey sour and appetizers.

Yelp
Great atmosphere | delicious food First time coming here to do a to-go order. I felt like we stepped into a beautiful lush jungle when we entered. Lots of plants with tasteful decor. I was surprised to see robots navigating to and from the kitchen with people's drinks and orders. Neat! They could use that extra help since this place seems like a popular spot. We ordered the Shan noodles with chicken and the chicken paratha with coconut rice. We also ordered non dairy iced Burmese tea and a rose and cardamom lassi. The dishes were nearly $20 each but the amount of spices and flavor makes it worth it. The chicken is tender, moist and flavorful. The curry wasn't even spicy, so it is perfect for those that can't handle spicy dishes. What we ordered is also dairy and gluten free because of my food allergies. We plan to come back and take friends and family here. I can't wait to try more items from their menu. Parking is on the street or in little lots, like one right across from the restaurant.

Yelp
Let's get one thing straight, the vibes are immaculate. When you first walk into Top Burmese it feels like walking into a garden at dusk. Beautiful plants in every direction and perfectly dim mood lighting. I tried the tea leaf salad, the vegetable and chicken samosas, and the chicken curry with coconut rice. Everything was delicious, but the salad was the star of the show. It was so nutty and the crispy garlic added a perfect finishing touch. I wish I got a photo before I started eating because the presentation was beautiful. I also loved that they have these cute robot "employees" run your food to you.
google avatar

Tyler H.

Yelp
There's nothing more authentic about Burmese cuisine than being served by robots. Pretty sure that's never been said in the history of man. You laugh, but someday when we are serving our robot overlords, it'll be because of the indignity of needing to shuttle around pumpkin curries on a tray, and this will be the ground zero. But seriously, the robot minions are actually really cute, and is part of the draw of this place. The little emoticonical faces as they beep-boop around the place does have its charm. I wish the food we ordered lived up to our expectations, but sadly they did not. We ordered a variety of curries, mine being the beef curry with coconut. Look, it was...fine, but I found the meat was a little tough and tasted to me a touch salty. I'm not saying that in a terrible way, more like a leaning that made me only want to eat a little more that half the dish. I think my expectations were just higher. The non-robot service was good. Friendly, helpful, patient. No complaints there. Humans - your job is safe with me. Maybe I ordered wrong. Perhaps there's just better entrees and I chose badly. The ambience of the place is nice, so I'd go back to try something new, and perhaps go for cocktails too. It has a great vibe in a cool and up-and-coming area of Beaverton.

Yelp
Robots serving your food has to be next century, so cool! The Coconut curry noodle soup is beyond good and took me back to Thailand when I was playing basketball there. I don't think it gets any closer. The waitress had a great sense of humor. She had plenty of jokes. The ambiance was so cool. I told me VP we must have a team dinner here because my teammates wouldn't know what to expect. My first time here it was super cold but the second time is was nice and toasty in the cold winter of Oregon. I definitely love the food here and will be back again and again.

The laphet thoke - tea leaf salad is the one thing that I have been searching for in Northwest...and this place delivered just the taste i was looking for. I liked the ambience, its cozy , small yet very inviting. The service was decent as well. But the samosa soup and tea leaf salad is what got this place the full 5 stars by themselves. The laphet (fermented tea leaf) very perfectly tarr, bitter and nkt overpowered by the citrus that most other places do. Also the galangal (or ginger no sure) along with chillies gives a well needed kick. I also got their chicken curry and okra curry. These two particular dishes were average but not something i would come all the way from seattlw for. So to end with a strong recommendation Yes the shoo share tea leaf salad and samosa soup are worth a visit from anywhere that you may be reading this. I live in seatt

Yelp
Took my partner here for his birthday and it was awesome! Love the ambience, the service was great, and the food was delish. Not to mention the cocktails, which were so fun. Mine had a light attached to illumine the drink. Both of our dishes were fantastic. The kneaded fish sounds a little scary, but trust me. It works! I would recommend making a reservation if you plan to go on a weekend, as they seemed pretty busy.

Yelp
Pretty baller place. Ask for the spicy when it comes to the curry.. you won't be disappointed. servers are knowledgeable and will make your dining pleasant. Mood lighting all over the restaurant, take your dates here.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I love the casual romantic ambiance of the place, it feels like a trendy Portland restaurant. They have many vegan options and a large cocktail bar for whipping up fun drinks. Plus it's fun to have a robot serve you. They updated their menu since the beginning of the year. A must get item is the salad, either the Green Tea Leaf Salad or 'Shoo Share' Tea Leaf Salad. There's so much flavor and it's perfectly savory. I tried the All-Star Okra Curry this time. The curry was packed with flavor and lots of yummy veggies. The beef curry is good as always. Definitely a must visit when in the Beaverton area.

Yelp
We used to LOVE this place. But recently prices went up and we've been greeted with poor service- very rude waitstaff! We waited 45 minutes for veggie samosas, they came COLD and were filled with chicken! We are vegetarians. They did let us know after we'd taken a bite that they made a mistake. We waited another 20 minutes for average curry and noodles. We won't return to this location. Bummer!!

Yelp
Such a joke. I order a beef curry with coconut rice, and 2 samosas for delivery. I get beef curry, no rice, no samosas. It was $35 for this order and I'm left with an inedible lunch. I had to fight to get a full refund. First, how hard is it to check against the order that is stapled to the bag that the order is complete? Second, why was it so hard to get a refund? It's inedible without rice.

Yelp
Vegan Coconut Noodle Soup - 3/5. Good but tofu was a bit sour--not sure if that was intentional but I didn't enjoy it. Broth was flavorful & noodles were tender, but small portion. Vegan Tea Leaf Salad - 2/5. This was pretty bland to me. Maybe because it was vegan, but I've had vegan renditions elsewhere and it's been delicious + on par with its omnivorous counterpart. Work on the sauce, toppings are fine. In terms of service, we ordered on the phone but had to wait 30 minutes after we arrived for our order. Waiters looked stressed and short-staffed. Recommend making reservations if possible and avoiding rush hours. Overall, the food was mediocre at best and does not justify the pricing. You're paying for the experience of having robot servers and a date night ambience. It was extremely busy so I'm assuming their omnivorous options are good, but if you're vegan, I suggest skipping. Tip: check in on Yelp for a free nonalcoholic beverage. Got the ice vegan Burmese milk tea. Very small serving (4oz). 3/5

Yelp
Not sure about the other Top Burmese restaurants but this one has been consistently top quality. I've visited them four times and it's been consistently fantastic. I've not had their rice-and-curry dishes, primarily because I love the Burmese noodles so much and you can't find anything close to this style at other ethnic restaurants. And unlike Thai or Vietnamese, there aren't that many Burmese restaurants. For those who are new to this style, think if it as a fusion of Indian, Thai and Chinese recipes. At the last visit we tried their Samosas, Khoi Soi and San Noodles. From the looks of it the only choices on protein are Tofu and Chicken.

Yelp
Nice restaurant in downtown Beaverton. Not many places were open on July 4th at dinner time but glad we found this place. It was highly rated by lots of people on other forums and it didn't disappoint. The prices are a bit steep, but the portions are large. I got the chicken curry- a big bowl of boneless chicken thighs in a yummy sauce. My friend got the okra curry and enjoyed that too. The service was a bit lacking, though.

Yelp
The food is deliciously rich in flavor and warmth. It was incredibly comforting and perfect for a chilly evening.
