Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse with vintage vibes prepares to open on the Las Vegas Strip | Eater Vegas

"The seven-year-old Center Cut Steakhouse closed in September, and Bugsy & Meyer’s now occupies its former footprint as part of the larger, 11,242-square-foot footprint that also absorbed the Café To Go and Laurel Lounge spaces." - Susan Stapleton

First time at Top Cut for an anniversary dinner. Excellent experience from start to finish. Enjoyed a few expertly crafted cocktails at the bar by Stephan. Jason our server was attentive and helpful in suggestions for our 1st experience. The rolls were like clouds...soft and delicious. We enjoyed the scallop with mash and brown butter appetizer. The chopped salad was also excellent . I got the duck which was huge and perfectly crispy. My husband got the 22oz dry aged ribeye which was a beautiful medium rare. We had Mac and cheese for a side....just wow. We were treated to carrot cake for our anniversary by the restaurant (it was literally 1/4 of a cake). The best carrot cake of our lives. The candied pecans nessled into the cream cheese frosting. I may just go back and get the cake! Needless to say we had quite a doggie bag and enjoyed the leftovers. You why what you do at for....high price point, but worth it for our special occasion.

Great food in general. Steaks are so good. Appetizers are great too, except for the raw oysters that are really small in size. This is our first in this place so I have no idea why we waited so long for our main course to be served. Good thing we have our server Shawn to apologize & explain everything. Actually, there was a gentleman who was not welcoming in the front desk when we came in. Ambiance is well fair enough for a fine dining restaurant. For the desserts, the Carrot Cake are huge & delicious including the cheese cake. If you have leftovers they provide you with a decent bag & not a cheap looking brown bag compared to other places. Overall a recommended place for fine dining restaurant.

Google
The food took a little longer to arrive than I would’ve liked. That being said, the kitchen did look like it had a lot of tickets at once and they were fighting to get out of the weeds and they did a great job in recovering. From being in the industry, the most important mark to hit when you’re backed up is making sure the food comes out perfect and they hit that mark spot on. The server Dae was very nice and even gave us the biggest piece of carrot cake I’ve ever seen for our anniversary. Having had a great view of the staff I could tell they all work well together as a team. Great restaurant and we will be back.

One thing about PAXOS is that their restaurant decor is spot on. I went to Top Cut for our anniversary, and I must say, our experience was beautiful. The ribeye steak I had was the best I've ever had; it was well-seasoned. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the lump crab cake was outstanding. My cucumber cocktail was also really good. Additionally, we received a complimentary slice of carrot cake, which was delicious! Thanks to Anthony and the Manager

Google
Really if you want a magical place, both the place, the good and magnificent attentions of the staff, in addition to the person in charge of the place, this is the best restaurant for it. Very good service from John thanks to everyone and for the excellent steak cuts.

Google
We went here for a date night on a Saturday. Very lively atmosphere. The server was very attentive. We went straight for the steaks and sides. The meal started with the dinner rolls that very warm and soft. I have to say the steak experience was one of the best we’ve had in the Lehigh valley. While it does come with a higher price tag, I think it’s worth the cost. They have ample amount of seating for larger groups as well. Scores an 8.5/10 on my personal scoresheet.

Google
our waiter David was amazing. The food was amazing cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was very beautiful. We went there for our wedding anniversary.

Google
The staff was very helpful and nice. Sean our server was very good and made sure to check in on me and my gf periodically. The general manager stopped by our table to see how things were. I appreciated the check ins as this is very important in the food industry. Food was cooked perfectly. The only thing was the steak was a bit salty but the flavor and seasoning was so good that I am not concerned. Overall I would highly recommend. Prices are good for the fine dinning.

Yelp
Very nice steakhouse in the middle of a shopping area. We went to 2 different host stations before figuring out that it was upstairs. Once we got upstairs, smooth sailing throughout dinner. The servers are very friendly and accommodating to some diet restrictions. We ordered a few different appetizers and shared it family style. The wedge Caesar salad had a different take on it with anchovies sitting on top of the salad. Very tasty. The truffle fries were amazing. The steak was cooked extremely well. The bone marrow crust was surprisingly good. The ambiance is warm and inviting and the pl e is very clean.

Yelp
So I'll caveat this to provide credentials. I've been blessed with the opportunity to eat all around the world and I live in NJ and work in NY. So steak houses are not rare. My best experiences being actually in Chicago. This was good. Nothing special. The meat was a little undercooked and my dinner date had his overcooked. The sides needed to be a little hotter. The waiter was competent and nice. Acceptable but forgettable. The ambiance was like a Marriot designed it in the middle of Iowa and everyone there thinks it's special. It's not. It's not a great ambiance. So why not a higher rating? The price is higher than any NYC or Chicago Steakhouse I've been in and it's in the middle of nowhere PA where they are importing the meats. With a drastic reduction in price I would say go there all the time. But at these crazy prices it's just okay and I, personally, will not return. Ie. In Chicago at Bizzarre Meats or Gibsons, etc you get a team of five serving you. Wine connoisseur etc. Here in PA, There were two of us with no alcohol, no appetizers and no dessert and it came to $208. $258 with tip. That's $130 a head and we left to get dessert elsewhere. I'll pass and leave it up to others if they agree to spend that. This area has some faux rich people who think going here gives them clout. So the locals say that is what keeps this going. A hefty ego and stay at home wives who want to feel special once a year. The restaurant depends on the local clientele who have zero good options in the area and people who don't tend to know what good food and fine dining is because in this part of PA they haven't been exposed to it. I personally have had more fun eating steak at an authentic Portuguese restaurant in Newark, NJ for a fourth of the price and better quality. I think it would help for the owner and the patrons to visit NYC and you'll know immediately what a high priced steak houses can offer. It's not even close. I want to pick out my steak.

Yelp
This was my third time eating at Top Cut. I finally remembered to take a few photos so I can do a proper review. This restaurant is one of the 3 best steakhouses in the Lehigh Valley. The ambience lends itself to fine dining, it's just beautiful inside with some great views. The staff goes above and beyond to make its guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The food is exceptionally prepared and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a few drinks while waiting for our meals and it was well worth it. The wedge salad was very tasty and fresh. Then the steaks, so well seasoned and prepared. Top Cut is a must for all steak lovers.

Yelp
While this place is called Top Cut, I have to rave about the bread for a moment, lol! It was SO good! Everyone here was very kind and accommodating. After a long day of travel, my dinner here was top-notch.

Yelp
Our third time visiting Top Cut steakhouse together with my wife for our anniversary. We chose a small table along the windows as our reservation that evening. It's usually spectacular service from the moment you step off the elevator. It was a bit colder since we were by the elevator, so then that would open and close there was a draft coming around the corner, but was still very cozy. We had a waiter who seemed newer to the restaurant. He never asked us about any specials that night, which no big deal to us since we chose other items off the menu to enjoy. Bread for the table is warm , soft and delicious. They offer a very extensive wine selection along with many other options for cocktails. I had the top cut old fashioned, my wife chose a lemon drop martini. Both very good. We selected the crab bisque and clams casino for appetizers, which were both outstanding, very tasty. For mains my wife chose the 10oz filet steak topped truffle butter. Cooked to medium perfection. I had the dry aged NY Strip steak , again cooked perfectly to medium, with truffle butter. Sides were roasted baby carrots and the smoke Gouda Mac and cheese. Sides are family size to share with the table. So they are larger just something to consider when making decisions. We had another round of drinks , and this time we were offered the dessert menu. It confused me , since when you visit for a special occasion, they bring out a slice of their house carrot cake which is to say the least " GIANT"! So I figured that they weren't doing that anymore since it's been some time from when we last visited. So we just ordered the cheesecake. But to our surprise in fact they brought out the cheesecake and the massive piece of house carrot cake. So I'd assume that our waiter forgot about us being there for our anniversary celebration that were to get the cake to finish our dinner that night. Still a great night , very good food and service. Just a small bump in service that night since we think he was a newer waiter on staff that night. That's the reason for 4 stars. Recommend reservations if you plan to visit on a weekend.

Yelp
We LOVE Top Cut! Last night was our third time there and I am already looking forward to our next visit. The hostess that greeted us was warm and welcoming and sat us promptly. Our server, Anthony, came quickly to introduce himself and offer us his service. He was attentive, friendly and helpful throughout the evening. The manager, Janie, also stopped by, greeted us graciously and asked us if she could do anything for us. So the server and ambience is 5 star. What about the food? Does not disappoint! My husband loves the Wedge Salad. I love the Grilled Caesar Salad. We love the Filet Mignon. There are different sauces available. I have tried three different ones. My favorite is the Bernaise. The side orders of baked potato and mushrooms were perfect as well. The grand finale is the world's best carrot cake. NEVER had better. Thank you everybody at Top Cut!

Yelp
Anniversary dinner with Hubs tonight. The menu is pricey - but the food was worth every penny. He has the shrimp cocktail - the shrimp were sweet and cooked to perfection. Came with 3 sauces. Was very expensive for 3 shrimp in hub's opinion. I had the Top Cut Chopped salad. It was HUGE. Delicious dressing wonderful assortment of veggies. Was well worth the price. On to dinner... Hubs had the Halibut with charred cauliflower and arugula with a sherry beurre blanc. It looked cooked perfectly - and was a wonderful portion. He wasn't a fan of the sauce - honestly he's not a butter or cheese fan (and that's ok) - but places like this are wasted on him....lol. He ordered a side of truffle fries. I'm not a big truffle fan, but the fries were crisp and nicely salted. I will stop here by saying all of the a la carte sides are large enough for two people.... suffice it to say he brought fries home. I had the 16 oz. Ribeye with the marrow and crispy shallot crust and a side of wild mushrooms. The steak was amazing and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The mushrooms were delicious. I finished half and will have a wonderful lunch.... They gave us a huge piece of complimentary carrot cake - even though neither of us are fans (the neighbor lady is in for a treat). I ordered the coconut creme cake to go. The piece is more than large enough for 2. It was delicious. They serve hot dinner rolls with butter as well. The view is probably spectacular on a sunny day. The dining room is well lit. It is noisy. Music is playing in the background but other patrons' conversations drowned it out. There is an ample bar with a fee televisions. They have duck, chicken, lamb and fish on the menu as well. Everything looked great on the menu. Very extensive wine list and specialty drinks. Service was great. Our we did not have to wait long for any of our food. If you are looking for a special night out give them a try.

Yelp
Great food, great service.I highly recommend the dry aged rib eye with white truffle butter, an awesome steak with amazing flavor. I wouldn't recommend the baked Gouda Mac and cheese with Shortrib, overpriced and really not impressive, just ok. Be prepared to not be able to talk with people at your table because the noise level is very high with poor acoustics. If you're with relatives you don't want to talk with, this could be a bonus. This is the main reason I gave only 4 stars. I do hope they'll add some noise control in the future. Worth the experience.

Yelp
Not too many 5 star reviews are actually deserved. It is in the case of Top Cut. I love having ALL of the amazing steak house experience with all of the amazing food and the incredible service but without the pretense. Of course I judge every great steakhouse by the creamed spinach, not the steak. This steakhouse staple is less creamy here with nutmeg. OMG! It kicks it up a level. But, do try the shallot and bone marrow crust on the steak of your choice. You carnivores won't regret it. I won't suggest that you save room for dessert, because you won't. But, the carrot cake is special. It's big enough for 3 people. So be ready. You might want to order an extra for the road. We did. But, as good as the carrot cake is, I actually liked the Coconut Cream Cake better and I really wanted the Dark Chocolate Almond Decadence. I'm not even a dessert person normally. Frankly, this is a great place to simply have dessert, coffee, and an aperitif. My coffee days are over. But my son said it is amazing. Frankly coffee is just as easy to make amazing as it is to mess it up. Yet so few places actually try. I truly appreciate it when a place tries to make great, not just good or even passable coffee.

Yelp
I went to Top Cut with my wife to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. I called about 12 days in advance to request a location far from the bar area as the restaurant tends to be noisy. Well, you guessed it, they intended to seat is IN the bar area and by the elevator door. When I said I had called almost 2 weeks previously to get a quiet table the waitress said that's all they had even though it was 4:45 pm. There were plenty of available tables near the back but they refused to seat us there. As such, we left the restaurant and had to find another place to go on a Saturday night which was nearly impossible. No one apologized or attempted to rectify the situation. Considering that this would have been over $200 for dinner, you'd think they would have made some effort to make this work. Also, we eat there often enough that they knew our name as it coordinated with our phone. I doubt if I would try to go there ever again! Don K., esq.

Don K.

Yelp
We have eaten at Top Cut several times and although it's noisy the food is good. My wife and I were intending to celebrate our 38th anniversary and called almost 2weeks in advance for a reservation FAR from the noisy bar area. When we arrived we were seated at a table right in the bar area and near the elevator. It was 4:45 pm and room to be seated where we originally requested but they claimed they couldn't do it. Since I had made a specific reservation almost 2 weeks earlier, we decided to leave and go elsewher. This was outrageous and caused us to find another place on short notice. I will be hard pressed to ever make reservations there again. It was completely rude and unnecessary. We ended up at Melt where the service was perfect, the food excellen, and the accommodation perfect! They even gave us dessert to celebrate our anniversary. What a breath of fresh air and cordiality! Food was great! Don

Yelp
The food was great! The waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything. The place is beautiful. The stuffed lobster was amazing!! I will definitely be going back.

Hillary W.

Yelp
First time and both felt quality of steaks and sides did not match price point. Service was good, but surprised how young, inexperienced the GM was when checking up on our meal. She didn't really ask the correct questions...felt like she was just going through the motions. Seems very slow for a Saturday night before the holidays...maybe there is a reason for that.

Walt ..

Yelp
Unless your buying wine for hundred or dollards, do not expect good service. . Cold food, drink order not served for over fifteen minutes. Had to go up to bar and get on our own. But the table of ten, had four people serving on them, including the manager.

Joseph M.

Yelp
Great place, the best service and atmosphere...a little pricey but still the best we found. Only go a couple times a year but surprised that the waters remember your names and we are created by them everytime we go there as they walk by.We must be good toppers! Lol
google avatar

Kelvin A.

Yelp
Very pricey but good bang for your buck , my bone in NY strip was under by a lot so be careful of that, service is pretty normal but slightly on the slower side. Great ambiance very classy location. Manager and server were awesome when they found out my steak was under, aside from that 8/10

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere, the food and the service. I wish I lived closer to go here all the time. Everything was delicious! I'm looking forward to going back next time I am in town!

Yelp
Came for dinner to celebrate a Lehigh college graduation. The food was superb, fresh, and beyond tasty. We split multiple appetizers such as the bacon steak, salad and escargot. Perfectly flavored and delicious. For an entree, I had the filet mignon with white truffle butter that was cooked perfectly. The short rib Mac n cheese as a side was a must have. The restaurant was beautiful and the customer service and attentiveness of the waters was great. I would highly recommend if you're in the area and need to celebrate a big occasion. Not one single bad thing could be said.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday. Our waiter was very knowledgeable in the menu, especially with wine selection. Appetizer: 1. Foie Gras a la plancha - smooth and buttery, though standard. 2. Seared U-10 sea scallops - WOW!! The truffled puree was exquisite and the scallops tasted very fresh! Entree: Filet Mignon and rib eye - both flavorful and juicy. Also large in size, so I was able to take some leftovers home. Highly recommend getting the asparagus and macaroni as sides. Macaroni was my favorite side...I was impressed. Lastly, because it was my birthday they gave me a complimentary carrot cake that was HUGE. It was greatly appreciated and I honestly wish I had more of that cake now. Not overly sweet and good cake consistency. Good experience overall, but be mindful that it is expensive.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
We were there the other night for a birthday celebration, all the appetizers, drinks and steak dinners were delicious. The service was very top notice and everyone had great time.

Lisa M.

Yelp
The food was quite good. But in my opinion, the prices are too high. The food was under seasoned, the carpaccio app was disappointing. Service was excellent, as were the cocktails. In addition to the pics, we had the Asian short rib app which was very good and the soufflé for dessert- also excellent. My husband had the filet mignon and we had creamed spinach, wild mushrooms and gratin potato sides. Very good. I dont know if I'll go back. We went with our friends who had a gift card. But if I was paying full price, I just don't know. It's good, but not sure it's THAT good.

Yelp
Wow! A great steakhouse outside of DT Philly and KOP located in Lehigh Valley county. I was shocked. Some neighbors had recommended this place and fiancé took me out for a birthday celebration. I started with the French onion soup and not gonna lie, it was kinda salty. And I usually don't mind salt. Steaks were of great quality and cooked as requested. I enjoyed the earthy white truffle butter on my porterhouse. Mac and cheese was BOMB. This place even makes the shell pasta fresh in house. Baby roasted carrots were just ok. That carrot cake. WOAH! And it was complimentary for this bday girl. Ayeee! My fiancé doesn't even like carrot cake and was impressed by this dessert.

Yelp
It is a very upscale place--perfect for a special date night. My wife took me there for Father's Day. The waiters were very attentive, and the food came promptly. So far, so good. The wagyu short rib appetizer, perfect. The main course however wasn't as great as I hoped. The dry aged bone-in prime rib was visually appealing, but alas, it was overcooked, dry, lean and but for the oscar-style topping and bear naive sauce, tasteless. I've had more exciting steaks from Texas Roadhouse. But to end on a positive note, the side of creamed spinach almost stole the entire show. There was no spinach left anywhere by the end of dinner. But I don't know if I would go here again.

Yelp
The food was delicious, steak recommendations was medium well done. Potato au gratin was delicious. The service is exceptional. Our waiter checks on us every so often to make sure we didn't need anything, came and cleaned the table at every stage of our meal. It's a pretty fancy place and super expensive.
google avatar

Candice S.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate The New Year. We have two little kids so we came early and there was not too many people there.. perfect for us. Our server was great, knowledgeable and attentive. He took out order and had everything out as soon as it was ready. We had scallops, foie gras, ribeye, sea bass, chop and caesar salads and a special mac and cheese with short rib. The chop salad was amazing. I didn't care for the scallops they were pretty rubbery. I loved my ribeye and my husband's sea bass was melt in your mouth fantastic! I would recommend coming here for a good meal.

Yelp
Got turned away because I was wearing work boots and my jeans from work, and a carharrt plaid shirt. And as soon I walked in felt like I was being judged. My money is good anywhere, just because I don't drive a Porsche or Range Rover shouldn't be looking down on me. I'm a local trucking business owner in the area, and I was there for a business meeting taking my contractors I work with out.

Joy S.

Yelp
Great food and service. we both had Excellent filet mignon along with delicious sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus. We couldn't get a reservation, so we sat at the bar which is first come, first serve. The service was great. We will be back, preferably at a table!

Yelp
Let me start off by saying that Top Cut has been our go-to spot for every birthday - anniversary - special occasion for the past several years - because we have always had a great experience. We had a 6:45 reservation for my birthday and arrived about 10 minutes before and checked in. At around 6:55, a group of 4 came in with no reservation but there was nothing available. They proceeded to hover and then one of the party walked past the hostess station while the others kept pressing for a table. It's now about 7:00 and the person who left found someone over by the bar, came back .... and all of the sudden everyone was scrambling to get this party a table. They got seated - and we were still waiting. When the hostess was questioned why we were still waiting and everyone scrambled to get them a last minute table there was no response and another person came over and said that she would going to have to ask us to leave if we continued to be rude. By the way - we are a party of 2 and there were multiple tables open ... one of which we would eventually be seated at. When we did get seated, our waitress and her service were wonderful, but the overall treatment from the hostess staff was so beyond disappointing that I won't come back, nor will I praise this Restaraunt to everyone as we've done time and again. Last - this was a birthday reservation and the first time that Top Cut didn't give us the complementary piece of carrot cake. A few weeks before Christmas - the same staff was working when we came to buy a gift card. We stood waiting patiently in front of the hostess station with no acknowledgment for over 10 minutes. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Yelp
Food was amazing staff was awesome especially Patrick J our waiter. He was super professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be coming back

Marla L.

Yelp
We love the upbeat, vibrant atmosphere at TopCut- but the last time we were there we experience a few disappointments. We sat in the back area of the bar which seemed to be unusually loud, our server seemed rushed though very pleasant and even the manner that the dishes were coming out seemed rushed by the waitstaff delivering it. I guess for the amount of $$ that each item costs, I hope a certain amount of decorum would match it. As for the food, the scallops were delicious, the crabcake not so much with a very off-flavor we couldn't quite describe. The salad was extremely fresh but consisted mostly of chopped peppers which was a little strange. We split a steak entree which was very good. The carrot cake was amazing and a great end to the meal. Overall it was very good with a few hiccups along the way!

Yelp
Enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration with my wife last evening. Restaurant has everything for a high-end experience. Great wine list, ambience, professional service and of course the food. We shared two appetizers... Oysters Rockefeller and clams casino. Both very good. And we both got ribeyes but mine was bone in. Of cooked perfection with a side of roasted mushrooms. Wine list is large and diverse, and we settled on a nice bottle of Stags' Leap Cabernet Savignon. To top it off we were treated to a piece of their monster carrot cake. It's so huge that most people just take it home without even putting a fork in it. it's incredible though. As I said earlier, the service is always very professional. Or server, Ariana, a young woman who had recently been promoted into the role. She was great and made our dinner all the more enjoyable. We have been here a few times now and I would say it is consistently excellent.

Amazing service, steaks, and bourbon. Came for my birthday and even got a free desert!.

Yelp
My wife and I visited Top Cut on our wedding anniversary. We knew that it would be more expensive than other alternatives, but you have to treat yourself once in a while. Fantastic service, amazing food and a really nice atmosphere. Our server was both informative and attentive. You definitely get what you are paying for here. An added bonus to our visit, my wife and I had already decided on sharing a carrot cake dessert... imagine our surprise when a HUGE carrot cake with "Happy Anniversary" was brought out to us, free of charge! It was delicious but there was no way the two of us could eat it all. Needless to say, we agreed Top Cut will be our special occasion venue from now on.

Bob R.

Yelp
we love this place. we couldn't give it 5 star because of the appetizers but everything else was totally excellent. the service was very nice even though our waiter did try to take our dishes before we were finished two times as we were eating. they were in a hurry to take the rolls basket also. the steaks were probably the best we ever had. tender , tasty, and done to perfection . the duck also was well prepared with a delicious sauce. the sides were excellent also. the only thing that was below par were the appetizers. the oysters in the oyster Rockefeller were so small, we truly thought two of shells were missing the oyster. they were basically a shell filled with spinach and cheese. At the price we paid, you should be able to taste or see an oyster. The foie gras also was hard to find in the appetizer Dish. On an ending note, The carrot cake was awesome. The four of us couldn't finish it and we tried. Perfect ending to the meal.

Yelp
Went for a graduation lunch today. Beautiful restaurant with nice, accommodating staff. Started off with the crab cakes and the tuna tartare then each ordered an entree. Steak was very good as well as the bernaise sauce. Definitely recommend for a nicer lunch/dinner.

Yelp
Everything was amazing as always. David was very knowledgeable and made our experience very memorable. The kitchen really outdid themselves tonight. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Special Event Dining for sure! Starting to become exorbitant! We even had a BOGO coupon!!!

Yelp
Awesome NY bone in steak. I wish I didn't add the truffle butter but oh well. Went on Thanksgiving and got a seat at the bar ... bar tenders were busting their hump but were still nice and made sure I enjoyed my meal The coconut cream cake was beyond awesome... I ate the whole thing which is amazing.. because it was huge I want to go again

Jessica V.

Yelp
Steak and crab cakes were delicious, ambiance is perfect for a date night or business dinner. We took my niece for her birthday and the carrot cake was to die for. Definitely save room for a slice when you go for dinner, it's huge.

Yelp
When my parents told me it was just another steakhouse, I was excited to try it but little did I know, I was super underdressed for this elegant 5 star restaurant. First you take an elevator up to the third floor and you are presented by these nice hostess. They all smiled and even did a coat check. At first glance, I thought I was either at a 1940's bar or a wedding reception. The lighting was nice and not too harsh on the eyes. Everything was matching of white, black and brown. Even the music was very elegant. Just an all around nice ambience. So to start out with drinks, I got a water which was super fresh and a Jaded Mule. First off I just have to say, the jaded mule makes it one my top 5 favorite drinks. It was so fresh and exploded with flavors of ginger and lemon. It was also presented in a nice copper mug just like other mules. However I could do without the paper straw. For an appetizer, I got the French Onion Soup with Gruyere Cheese. The cheese was literally out of this world! I would do anything to taste that cheese again. The onions were nice and tender and the whole entire soup had a great flavor. It was also a good portion for an appetizer. Then came my main dish which was a 10oz. Filet Mignon. All I got to say is wow. In the past I've had some shitty steaks and some of nicest restaurants but this one actually blew me into the water. My family and I also got the asparagus and mushrooms as sides and we shared them. I asked my steak to be medium and it was received medium. It had a great flavor and was really tender and easy to eat without too much chew. There was no fat and it went perfect with the house steak sauce. One thing I got to say is that the sides of the steak were a little dry. But still really good. The asparagus and the mushrooms were great and the asparagus had a light orange taste to it. All I got to say is thank goodness I wasn't paying because myself and two others cost $280 with tip. So make sure you got some money if you go. Also make sure you dress nice and don't wear a hat. I screwed up.

Yelp
Service was always slow. We've been giving this place multiple chances but service was always slow. Last straw was when we went there for a special occasion. I ordered rare but got medium rare. Instead of replacing the steak, the server said "we cannot do anything about it anymore".

Yelp
Extremely Loud. Cold by window seats. Food is about a 4 out of 5 but everything very expensive. I'm not sure why they call it prime.black agnus. It's either Prime or it is not. Not seeing it before it was cooked I couldn't tell. It was Avery good steak. Cp7ld have mayne been trimmed a little more. So it's a nice place just bring a sweater ear plugs and a suitcase full of momey.

Yelp
Simple put..........outstanding. Although it's pretty pricy the food, the staff and good time is definitely worth it.

Yelp
What a splendid dining experience! Our serverwas awesome. He gave his expert and direct recommendations on the menu and he was SPOT ON. The bone-in rib eye with the bone marrow crust was by far the best steak experience I ever had - and I've had lots of steaks so I'm speaking from the heart. The corn maque choux side dish is an upscale cream of corn that complemented well. Definitely worth future dinners!

Yelp
The atmosphere was nice but the food was mediocre at best. Stick with 3 Oak, much better quality of food and the managers aren't "entitled". The Steak tartar I never should have eaten, the meat was "grayish", definitely not top grade and only two toast points. My dry aged NY was expensive and tough, not much flavor. My partners filet mignon was average and the other meals we personally did not try. The carrot cake tasted fine but was hard, I would not order that again. The staff was knowledgeable and nice, but overall I would not go back For $400. We ate at 3 Oak the week before and the week after, great service much better food, all around worth the $400. Top Cut, not so much.

Yelp
Came here for a private event so had a room on the top floor overlooking the rest of the mall. Staff is very friendly and always willing to come and top your glass off. Started the meal off with the Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon Steak. I could have really had this as the meal instead of the appetizer. Perfectly smoked with the right amount of crisp to it. It is a very large slab of bacon so depending on the particular cut - you may have a lot more fat than expected. Entree was the Filet Mignon with house steak sauce. Amazing, really seasoned well and had a nice crust to it. Inside was cooked to specific request and had good amount of flavor and juice. Served with Asparagus and Potato Mousseline. Finished off with the Chocolate Tart to go - chocolate crust with a chocolate mousse. Very good.

Yelp
Overall I would give this place 4.5 stars. Took my 11 year old son out for a special dinner. The place is really beautiful on the inside and located on the 3rd floor of the same building that houses Melt. Really awesome glass wall of wine, and nice views of the promenade throughout. The hosts as well as our server were really great, helpful, and made my son really enjoy the experience. The food overall was very good. I had the fois gras and my son hade the French onion soup, both which were very good. For the mains, my son had the French chicken and I chose one of the nightly specials which was a 14oz bone in filet. Both were great. Ordered the carrots and potato au gratin as sides and although both were good, not really special. As far as desserts, I ordered the soufflé and my son had the creme brûlée. The soufflé was ridiculously big, wonderfully light, and came with 3 accompaniments: blood orange creme, a chocolate ganache, and raspberry sauce. It was awesome. The salted caramel creme brûlée was also very good. The only reason that I would not give this place 5 stars, is that I believe it's probably about 15-20% overpriced on the menu. If I was in a high end steak house in NYC or Vegas...ok, but for the Lehigh valley, a bit overpriced. With that being said, if I'm looking for a good steak and nice night out, and not worried about blowing a few extra bucks I would not hesitate to come back.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to be invited here for dinner with family. We have eaten at a lot of wonderful places, and Top Cut is probably one of the top 3! With every course, we were blown away. The french onion soup and wedge salad, plus the wagu short ribs were melt-in-your mouth delicious. The filet mignon and steaks were done perfectly. I order medium well and places never get it right. Top Cut made it perfectly. Others were equally pleased with their medium rare being done perfectly as well. The shareable sides are substantial enough to serve several. The baked potato came with bacon, cheese, sour cream and butter side bowls, and the gratin potatoes and macaroni were amazing. Another surprise were the dinner rolls: buttery, sweet pillows with a touch of salt. The wait staff was pleasant, well trained, and professional. We never had to ask for anything, and their entire staff is exceptional. Toward the middle of the meal, the manager stopped by to be sure that we were enjoying ourselves. I saved the best for last. Their carrot cake with cream cheese icing is the size of a small car, and as delicious as any I have ever eaten. Needless to say, this is a favorite.

Yelp
Terrific restaurant with great menu and staff. A true pleasure and the Lehigh Valley is lucky to have the restaurant.
