Overall I would give this place 4.5 stars. Took my 11 year old son out for a special dinner. The place is really beautiful on the inside and located on the 3rd floor of the same building that houses Melt. Really awesome glass wall of wine, and nice views of the promenade throughout. The hosts as well as our server were really great, helpful, and made my son really enjoy the experience.
The food overall was very good. I had the fois gras and my son hade the French onion soup, both which were very good. For the mains, my son had the French chicken and I chose one of the nightly specials which was a 14oz bone in filet. Both were great. Ordered the carrots and potato au gratin as sides and although both were good, not really special. As far as desserts, I ordered the soufflé and my son had the creme brûlée. The soufflé was ridiculously big, wonderfully light, and came with 3 accompaniments: blood orange creme, a chocolate ganache, and raspberry sauce. It was awesome. The salted caramel creme brûlée was also very good.
The only reason that I would not give this place 5 stars, is that I believe it's probably about 15-20% overpriced on the menu. If I was in a high end steak house in NYC or Vegas...ok, but for the Lehigh valley, a bit overpriced. With that being said, if I'm looking for a good steak and nice night out, and not worried about blowing a few extra bucks I would not hesitate to come back.
