Top Dog

The 1/4 lb hotdogs definitely don't feel like 1/4lb and aren't truly worth $5 a piece and the tater tots were mushy but other than that the food was pretty good. They need to work on their outdoor seating for sure. Would probably stop by again if I'm in a hurry but ultimately I can get a couple hot dogs for cheaper at any gas station with a drink and chips for around the same price.

First time high hopes they say they use Nathan hotdogs I’m given them the benefit of the doubt. ordered chili cheese dog. The bun was a bit stale not steamed or grilled Right out of the bag the chili and cheese was non existent a tablespoon at best with a sprinkle of Shredded bagged cheese overall disappoint, with a little more cheese and chili and a good steamed or grilled bun it would be 100 % better we’ll give another go and try one of there specials Hopefully with a better outcome

I’ve been driving by this place for several years always wanting to stop, well I did yesterday and it was excellent. I just had a regular hotdog with mustard, mayo, and onions and piping hot tater tots that were just delicious. I will be back.

My husband and I stopped to get a quick bite before heading home. We had never been. Hot dogs are perfect.You can tell they are all beef . Had a nice snap to them.Chili was on point.. hint of heat.Bun was soft,warm,fresh and delicious. Also had the chili cheese tots! Also perfect! Will be going back! Definitely recommend for a great dog!

Food was less than good it was very bland the people running it lock themselves in and only serve through the windows when the building is large enough to have a walk in station, the hotdogs are beef but they boil them in water and they are very small portioned I ordered a slaw dog and a large tater tot and the dog was not bun length and the tots were just 10 tots as if they sold that many specifically for that order designation, there was no specific flavor on the tots nothing special about the dog I paid almost 8 dollars without a drink and left feeling highly ripped off what happened to the days when you could get 2 hot dogs with chili and fries and a drink for 5 dollars or less, I know those days are long gone but if all you sell are hot dogs, step it up, if the only hot side you have are tots step them up, thanks for wasting what could have been a good memory, @southerfriedfluffychef!!!

We stopped by a few minutes before 11am, but Jan was happy to take our order before open. She was sweet and helpful, and had our food ready so quickly! The hot dogs and chili cheese tots were hot and delicious! 😍😋 She also had some amazing red velvet cupcakes for Valentines day! We are definitely adding Topdog to our list of favorites!

I made 2 trips in 1, the 1st and the Last Average Hot Dogs over priced. Owners are pretty cut and dry, Didn't feel to appreciated as a customer

Stopped in at Top Dog for the first time today and ordered two slaw dogs. They were very good. The Chilli was just right , and the slaw was good. No onions in the slaw. I don't like it when they put onions in slaw. I recommend this place for a quick lunch. .

Top Dog has the best hot dogs that you can buy in our area and the workers are always so nice!! If you're anywhere close to them near the racetrack then I highly recommend stopping by and trying them out!

Easy on/off Volunteer Parkway; ample parking and outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas. Two walk-up service windows: one to place order, the other to receive order. Inside of building appears to be reserved for the operation/employees, no customer access. All areas may prove challenging for those in need of any combination of smooth, flat, paved surfaces. Parking area is not paved nor is the area around the "upper level" picnic table. There is a paved ramp leading down to additional picnic tables, but no handrails and it is rather steep for wheelchairs/walkers. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. All areas appeared clean and tidy. They serve Nathan's all-beef hot dogs, chili cheese Coney dogs, cheddar smoked sausage dogs (also in "pizza" flavor), slaw dogs, pizza dogs. All dogs offered with choice of up to 3 toppings (included with the price): select from ketchup, mustard, onions, chili, jalapeños, relish, mayo, cheese. Chips are available as is a side of baked beans (confirmed with server these are simply canned Bush brand beans). Menu also lists chili cheese nachos, nachos with cheese and Fritos chili cheese bowl. Paid $16 cash for four items ordered: Nathan's hot dog, chili cheese Coney dog, cheddar sausage dog and corn dog bites. Dogs and toppings were tasty, buns were soft but not soggy. Corn dog bites were not appealing at all. Place does not appear to have deep fryer, must use an air fryer for corn dog bites as the batter was not crisp. Side of "cheese dip" that came with the corn dog bites was virtually without flavor, just a container of orangey goop. Thankfully, the cheese on the Coney dog was real shredded cheese. Wiling to return for more dogs (and perhaps the Fritos chili cheese bowl provided it is made with the real shredded cheese), but will avoid anything with the "cheese sauce/dip". Overall, pleased with hot dogs; good value all around.

Name says it all, TOP DOG! Excellent hotdogs!! They use Nathan's hotdogs and Malcom's Chili. Soooo good! Family owned and operated and they are exceptionally nice and helpful.

Great hot dogs! They use Nathan's , which in my opinion, are the best! They have lots of choices and variations. Definitely recommend!

Nice people, cool place. I got a hotdog with chili, mustard and onions, and the chili was so bland. I expected something homemade, like an old Mamaw's recipe. It tasted like chili out of a can and I was so disappointed. Maybe introduce a slaw dog as well? Just a very bland place, sorry.

Im so excited to have a new place in Bristol to grab a quick bite. I tried a hot dog and the nachos and cheese and both were delicious. My daughter loved her corn dog bites. We will be back to try other stuff on their menu. They have great prices and friendly employees.

Love hotdogs. This place did not disappoint. The hotdogs were great, the folks were super nice and the place was very clean. I will definitely be going back (tomorrow).

i just went there today an have to say that the hotdogs were some of the best i've had in a long time quick service ladies there very friendly if your out an want a great hotdog i suggest you stop by an give this place a try i'll be a regular visitor there myself it's a 10 in my book
