Google
An excellent spot for 1-2 unique cocktails and maybe a side. Chic atmosphere as well. But in terms of a full-fledged dinner date I'd avoid it. The food is admittedly excellent but sparse. I ordered the octopus entree and it came with three 3/4-inch pieces. The plate was more of an artistic statement. Total bill broke $115 for two. Grab food somewhere else, come here for the ambiance and a cocktail.

Google
Top Flr has great service, an excellent menu of rotating dishes and cocktails, and a great atmosphere. I live nearby and it is my favorite place to go around the O4W/Midtown area. The Scallops and Mac N Cheese are delicious. Plates are smaller, so getting a couple sides is recommended.

Sunee LaClaire

Google
The service and atmosphere were excellent! I went with a vegan friend and she was delighted that she was able to find things on the menu to enjoy. My only complaint is that our starter, the Navy bean and peppadew hummus was VERY salty. We still managed to enjoy it though. And I recommend the Janz Brut Rose from Tasmania as well. Was a great bottle of sparkling rose.

Google
I've been here about three times now. The vibe here is great, hip and relatable, the music could be a bit loud at times, but otherwise I really liked the atmosphere. The food was very salty though. The last time I went here, I had the tuna tartare and my friends had the scallops, both items were a bit too salty for our liking. I remember the past few times I've been here, the food was salty then as well.

Went for the first time on a Wednesday and there was a dj playing music I'd never heard, but nothing ridiculous. Awesome vibe, not very loud and EXCELLENT service from everyone we encountered. Our server, Tyler, was FANTASTIC - very honest and descriptive about food and drink recommendations. I loved this place and hopefully it gets the well deserved attention, plan to dine outside on the "patio" on my next visit. I just hope it doesn't get TOO crowded as it is kind of small.

Google
Great ambiance - hidden treasure. The food is really good and small plates. My favorite dish is the mussels in this creamy sauce. The macaroni is very good with a white cheese base. The parking is hard to find but it's behind the Resturant. It is two levels and behind Papi's Cuban Resturant. Great choice for date night.

Google
Let me start by saying that the food was great in all levels, taste, presentation, etc. My problem is the actual restaurant, they want to sell it as a "trendy bohemian" place and is just an ugly unadorned house. It creates no ambiance and it clashes with such great food. I would love to take the food to go. Service wasn't that great either.

Google
I've been here twice now. First time was ...meh. Not sure if it was the date I was on or the restaurant itself but I wasn't impressed. However!! I went recently for a happy hour/networking event and MAN! Redemption! I only had drinks (and nibbled on some appetizers my friends had) and was very very pleased. The bartender was skilled - to say the least - and knew her stuff! I couldn't stay for the entire happy hour, sadly (actually had a City Experts event right after!) but I went straight to my bf after (not said date lol) and told him we will DEF be back for drinks...and food. Check it out for sure

Yelp
Omg!!!! The food was so good and the vibes were chefs kiss! The crab legs were smoked and seasoned to perfection. I had warm butter on the side. The service was good, they got busy really fast. This place is a hidden gem in Midtown. I will definitely come back when I'm in town from Los Angeles! It was worth an Uber ride.

Yelp
If you experience Bon Ton and do not immediately tell everyone you know how good it is, there is something wrong with you. I had the gumbo, crab and crawfish boil with potatoes and corn, and the fried apple pie with ice cream. Every bite was incredible and I'm contemplating a move to Atlanta to be closer to this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive as well.

Jonathan B.

Yelp
I recently found a great low-key spot that's perfect for a date night. The ambiance is cool and dark, creating a nice intimate atmosphere. Our server was very chilled and accommodating. I ordered the catfish and opted for the double portion because I was really hungry, but the single would have been just fine! The catfish was incredibly tender and flaky--and it fell apart to the touch. I also tried the spiced broccoli as a side, and it was delicious. Overall, I give it a 4.5 out of 5!

Yelp
I love when a restaurant is able to stand out from the rest and when you hear Bon Ton is offering Cajun-Vietnamese cuisine, it's easy to see what makes them so distinct. If the uniqueness isn't enough, wait until you try the food. Everything I've tried has a familiar, Southern taste but with an extra unfamiliar depth which I love. The Mac and cheese with crawfish is spectular, the Po Boys are so damn good and the fresh seafood is absolutely worth trying. You're going to want to keep eating if you're drinking too and the drinks are GREAT.

Marni M.

Yelp
My sister had found this place and wanted to check them out. There is a private parking lot but with limited spots available on a Friday afternoon. We were lucky to grab a table but it was directly at the front so space was limited there too. Their house boil was tasty but on the sauce was more of a broth. The ettouffee was rich and well seasoned. I really liked their 5 spice broccoli since it retained its texture. The pickled vegetables were more vinegary than expected. Overall, food was pretty good but the portions are small especially for the price. Staff were kind but very busy. May come again in the future!

Yelp
An unexpected find while on a walk off of Peach Street. In fact, conveniently located to the local favorite (Mary Mac's), Bon Ton offers something fun. Almost like a speakeasy! Vibe is eclectic, yet, welcoming, with a fusion of Cajun and Asian flavors. Service was engaging. Ordered the 5-Spiced Broccoli (it's okay) as well as the Crawfish Mac and Cheese (a restaurant favorite for sides).

Megha D.

Yelp
I've been coming to Bon Ton for years and I can't rave enough about this place!! There's parking behind the building for Papis and Bon Ton, or you can park residential. I love the vibes inside and I recommend a reservation if you have a larger group, otherwise I've always been seated relatively quickly. Their menu is so fun and all their drinks are so good (we love the mai tai and hurricane)!! Everything I've tried on the menu has been phenomenal. I've tried everything from the oysters, crab claws, gumbo, jicama/papaya salad, to all the po boys and burgers! Overall, great spot and HIGHLY recommend checking out!!

Keia R.

Yelp
Soooo the food was good. The server was awesome and answered any questions we had about the menu. They need to clean the ice maker. I noticed little black pieces on my ice. He brought another cup of ice water out, and it was on that ice too . So we opted for bottles drinks. I like the vibe with the colorful dim lighting; it was chill. First time trying etoffee and it was bomb.

Christina D.

Yelp
Always a great experience with flavorful eats and just a chill vibe. From the bartender who can share a million stories to the simple and quality service, I really enjoy all Bon Ton has to offer. Some of my favorite menu items are the oysters, gumbo and the sticky chicken is just perfection. You honestly can't go wrong with their sticky chicken for the picky eaters. I also love the decor and intimate style of the restaurant, it's very cutesy!

Amanda S.

Yelp
Bon ton is a very cute Cajun Vietnamese fusion spot in midtown with good food and service AND has free parking which is a huge plus! When we came, it wasn't super busy so we were able to get seated quickly. I had their in house lemonade for my drink and then my friend got meatballs for the table to split. The meatballs were just fine, but I would highly recommend their seasonal lemonade! I had a burger and hushpuppies as my dinner and I wasn't expecting it but the portions were HUGE! The burger is pretty good, since it's a beef/pork blend so it has to be cooked to a specific temperature, it loses a lot of the juiciness that you generally want with a burger. Hushpuppies were absolutely amazing though so I'd definitely recommend them! Overall bon ton was maybe a little expensive for the food, but you did get decently portions and the food is generally pretty good!

Melita T.

Yelp
I don't know why I've never written a review for this place. I've been going for years and it's definitely top tier. The dedicated parking lot is a bit small but there's also paid street parking. Reservations are recommended as they can be pretty busy and the location is quite small. The charbroiled crab claws are to DIE for! So freaking delicious - I'm dreaming about when I can have them again. I wish I remembered the name of the frozen beverage I have but I recommend as it is super balanced and not overly sweet. I also had a fried catfish and shrimp basket - delicious! Overall 10/10 - no complaints whatsoever!

Mike R.

Yelp
To the owners: please, please, please retrain your wait staff. The food, drinks, and ambiance at Bon Ton are still fantastic. I've always loved how it transports me back to New Orleans. But over the past 6-9 months, the service has noticeably declined. It's not everyone -- I've had great interactions here before. But it only takes one or two bad apples to ruin an entire restaurant experience. On our most recent visit, our server showed no interest in us, ignored three requests for water, and made it clear they didn't want to be there. When I moved here three years ago, Bon Ton was one of my go-to spots. I came often, brought friends, and genuinely adored this place. But hospitality matters -- and right now, that piece is missing. Bon Ton hasn't just lost its shine -- it's lost my loyalty. And that's how great restaurants fade. Not from bad food -- but from bad service.

Jay D.

Yelp
I can't believe I had never been here before but Bon Ton is such a gem and I'll definitely be going back. The food was *chefs kiss* made perfectly, the space has that NOLA aesthetic, and the service was great! There were people here as groups, on dates, and I imagine it would even be a cool place to go sit at the bar alone. We started off with some oysters to share which I enjoyed, they were mild but tasty. Then we had planned to split the catfish banh me and the shrimp banh me, we accidentally got 2 catfish banh me's, so one was complimented to us and we still got the shrimp banh me. We absolutely DEVOURED all three (hence why I don't have a proper picture of the catfish one). Trust me when I say the catfish was soft, delicate, seasoned to perfection, and the shrimp was crispy, very clearly fried fresh, also cooked to perfection. Everything was amazing, I hear the bar upstairs has some fun events but I couldn't find it on the website, regardless, I will be back!

Dave K.

Yelp
The shrimp burger was absolutely delicious. perfectly cooked and full of flavor! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

D R.

Yelp
The smoked crabs are delicious, but the add-on prices are outrageous--$8 for half a sausage, $7 for a small piece of corn and one potato. When I raised my concerns, management was dismissive, and our waitress, Jasmine, yelled at me. With an automatic 20% gratuity, there was no way to push back. Ruined my entire experience.

Taylor W.

Yelp
This is an interesting place serving vietnamese-creole dishes! Aesthetic is so pretty inside. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time especially if you don't want to sit at the bar. Vibes were great. We got the truffle mac n' cheese, crawfish etoufee bowl, and Bo Kho Bon Ton Rice Bowl. The etoufee bowl was so flavorful and my favorite of the nice. My partner also really likes the rice bowl and found it to be a good size to eat. The mac n' cheese was mediocre. They also seem to have a lot of interesting mixed drinks to try here as well!

Ashley J.

Yelp
Food: I had the etoufee, it didn't take long to be served, was flavorful and filling Service: Marcus was a great host/server, he had recommendations and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything Parking: I didn't drive but they have a small lot and street parking nearby

Felicia W.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised upon entering, Bon Ton is so cute inside.. My friend and I had 2:15 reservation. We arrived on time and was seated immediately. Our server Holly introduced herself in a timely manner. Holly was great at explaining the most ordered items on the menu. PROS Menu Variety Food - I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Burger and Red Beans & Rice. They were both good however, I'll try something new when I return. My friend ordered the House Boil and 5 Spice Broccoli which she enjoyed. The entire staff was really friendly. CON Parking

Yang C.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a business trip. Found this place on yelp and really want to try Cajun food, especially the etouffee. Got the seasonal drink - yellow snow, which is the pretty fruity. I like it! I got the crawfish etouffee. It was very tasty. Doesn't seem to be a big portion but I felt pretty stuffed after finishing it. My waiter was nice, checking on me occasionally but not too frequently. It was nice inside the restaurant: I sat close to the bar but it wasn't noisy. It was pretty crowded in a Thursday evening.

Art V.

Yelp
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! Very disrespectful & distasteful environment! From the manager sitting out front smoking marijuana to the smoked crab legs being extremely overcooked idk what is worst! I feel like I was scammed my crab legs had NO MEAT! Due to being overcooked. The manager approach was "we had at 75%" so she can't refund. NO MAAM nothing was really eaten the shell were already empty to begin with due to the cooking process. She was very rude screaming yelling & asked if I wanted to "step outside" I will NEVER come here again!! I'm the photo I'm attaching she is smoking!! Just disgusting

E F.

Yelp
Food was excellent t creative and nice variety! Service extraordinary! Ambiance very cozy, and be romantic or just intimate evening with friends - has a bit of a masculine flare

Dorothy B.

Yelp
Everything went well. I finally tried this restaurant after hearing so many positive reviews from friends. I tried the catfish sandwich, the Mac and cheese, the broccoli and the chickpea etoufee. All were delicious. I added crawfish to my Mac and cheese. The broccoli was one of my favorites. It was very flavorful and fresh. The server was nice and the food came out quickly. I hear there's even a lounge upstairs for more chill vibes. The ambience was very pleasant and unique with the red lights. Plenty of parking in the back.

Crystal C.

Yelp
BonTon is cute and unique! Its a vibe. I love how they have the restaurant lit in the evening. I had smoked snow crabs for the first time here. I don't think they're actually smoked, but instead a smoky liquid they are cooked in. Either way, it's the BOMB. I've had many snow crabs, and this is definitely the most unique preparation I had. I accompanied my snow crabs with oysters and they were tasty. They were fresh sitting in ample liquor. My waiter didn't know which variety they were, but that's not his fault. He was still kind and joked with me. I was a bit hesitant to try anything outside of the seafood, but I'm sure it's also good.

Tyler B.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! You have to try the charbroiled crab claws. Drinks are good and strong, ambiance is nice! And Joseph is an excellent and attentive waiter. I had the fried catfish and my wife had the shrimp po boy! You really can't go wrong with anything here.

Jody M.

Yelp
This place is a mix of cajun and vietnamese food. Strange combination, but it really worked. I ordered the oyster basket. The oysters were fried just right and the fries were really good. And I'm not a fry person. The brother that waited on us was fantastic. He always had a smile on his face and was fast. It's not cheap by any means, but it was so worth the price. I'll be back.

Subira J.

Yelp
Okay stop the food was so good here ??? My man and I came here for a night out, very chill, and low maintenance. The vibe in here is so cool, there's actually a speakeasy upstairs and we decided not to go. We did grab a drink at the bar. Standard grey goose martini with olives for me of course. Ms bartender did her thing! I like my martini with no ice chips so I appreciate the extra strain. I ordered the shrimp étouffe, it comes with two hush puppies, and the five spice broccoli which had a lot of flavor. I had no idea étouffée was this good, and unfortunately have nothing to compare it to, but it was rich and creamy without having milk, and the shrimp was well seasoned. The rice was not over cooked, which is worth mentioning in my opinion! The broccoli was yummy, and crisp but I could not finish it all on account of being full from my main dish. I'm excited to come here again for another date night or with the girls and maybe even try the speakeasy upstairs!

Seema Z.

Yelp
I love this spot for its Cajun creole seafood creativity. I come her often and was happy with my oyster house po boy and fried catfish Buford hwy sandwich. I was not happy by the default gratuity added to a party ot two. Our server was MIA A Lot and I had to flag her down. I expect good service if gratuity is added. Else please change price of the entree so we Know what to expect.

Cam S.

Yelp
Good food and Fancy Service always! Love the experience Had the PO boy and a broil with great drinks

Shermika D.

Yelp
I've been to both bonton and their speakeasy located upstairs, the waiting room. I found the drinks at the waiting room to be better and much less sugary. The crab claws at bonton are very good as was the shrimp poboy. Overall this was a great late night dining experience. Both places have such a cute vibe.

D'onica S.

Yelp
Count your days Yelp! you catfished me again! Don't you dare walk into this establishment expecting good food! I was utterly disappointed from start to finish! This establishment exudes a chic and stylish atmosphere, perfect for capturing stunning Instagram photos. The staff and servers perfectly complement the trendy ambiance of the establishment. Now let's get the food. red beans and rice 3/10 OK on flavor nothing to write home about it Smoked snow crab 1/10 was extremely bland and lack flavor. Matter a fact it had a terrible after taste. I've had smoked crab all the time in Nola and make them often myself! I was truly disappointed! Seafood and sausage gumbo 0/10 No comment! Charbroiled oysters 0/10 We didn't finish our oysters. Undercooked, lacked flavor. sent them back to be redone only to be left further disappointed. Even though this place is right around the corner. I wouldn't return.. I rather buy a gas station hot dog from than eat at bonton again! . Nothing hurts more than being catfished by FOOD! By a man, I can handle it! But FOOD!??... I'm in tears!

Joy C.

Yelp
I had dinner here with a friend, and they chose the restaurant... my friend has good taste indeed! Location and Parking Bon Ton is located in Midtown near Mary Macs. There is a small free parking lot behind the building, but if you go on the weekend like I did, you might have to park one street away and walk over. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant is small, however it has two levels. The restaurant is on the main level and the bar is upstairs. The bar is bathed in red light with furry couches and a chill soundtrack. The main restaurant is bright with creole inspired decor. Restrooms are located both floors. Both levels were packed when we went on a Friday night. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages I started with a half dozen oysters. The oysters were slightly salty but I fully dressed them as usual. I then ordered a crawfish étouffée entree. The dish was delicious and flavorful with the right amount of heat. The roux was also cooked perfectly. I sipped on a bourbon mai tai with my meal; it was strong yet sweet how I like it. Verdict I'll certainly be back during the week when there's less traffic lol.

James N.

Yelp
Ok first of all, they said their crawfish is "fresh". As someone who lived in New Orleans, I can in fact confirm that this is false, unless by fresh, they mean fresh out of the freezer. Their crawfish is definitely frozen, and the meat is dry and shriveled and not good. I will say that the sauce they put it in is delicious, but $15/lb for frozen crawfish is robbery. It was also an extremely small portion, it couldn't have been more than .75 lbs. The shrimp is much better in their sauce. Shrimp is headless so a pound is a good amount for one person. Their boil sauce is a bit spicy, very good, and not overloaded in oil and garlic the way many Cajun/Asian boil places do it. Ordered corn and it was still cold lol so they use frozen corn too and didn't heat it all the way. When I say cold, I don't mean not warm, I mean actually like it could've been sitting in the refrigerator because it was chilled. I still ate the cold corn because the sauce tastes good, but jeez between the previously frozen crawfish and frozen corn, this cannot get higher than three stars. Our server was very nice but wasn't the most knowledgeable. Especially since she insisted the crawfish was "fresh". The atmosphere in the restaurant was sort of fun, a bit loud and music blasting. 20% service charge is included. Drinks were good. I got a sweet frozen drink and it was definitely very sweet but good. The smoked snow crab was definitely interesting. It was $38 for 2.1 clusters. It was fine to split between two people, but the flavor overload was too much for one person to eat all the crab alone. With all the smoke plus Cajun seasoning and salt, it was great to try and a great dish to split amongst 2-3 people, but would've been overwhelming to eat more than one cluster. Overall, I might come here again for drinks, shrimp, and maybe try some of sides - if I feel like spending a lot of money for not-fine dining. But definitely avoid the crawfish.

R B.

Yelp
I was just looking for a place to kill an hour while I was doing laundry. This place was cool. Service was good. Food was good. Atmosphere was chill. Beer and a friend (old forester) and the beef something po boy were just what I was looking for (bread in Atl is still terrible). I may come back during the dry cycle. lol

Niaz P.

Yelp
This place is a great hip spot to grab food at. We made a reservation and we were seated quickly. Parking is a bit difficult here. We parked on the street bc there were no spots in their small lot. I got a iced coffee which was delicious. The rest of the food we ate family style. I think my favorite was the mac and cheese. I liked the oysters as well. The amount of food for the price is kind of small, but it tastes pretty good. Their dessert is quite yummy.

Melanie H.

Yelp
You know how it feels when you go to your cousins house for dinner? That's what the service was like for us here. Our server Saaghir was A M A Z I N G! He was friendly, funny, personable, knew the menu inside and out, and made great suggestions. The food was also super good! We ordered the Shrimp Étouffée, Shrimp Po Boy, Shrimp Burger, Shrimp Bahn Mi, Mussels, fries, and broccoli. I would recommend any one of these items. The broccoli is seasoned with five spice and is so good! Everything was seasoned to perfection. High five to the kitchen staff! Y'all doing it back there! We will 100% be back for more and I highly recommended trying this spot 10/10!

Rochelle S.

Yelp
Been waiting to try BonTon for quite some time. I hate to say this, but o was truly underwhelmed. I must say I expected more, but it just wasn't there. To start the boiled peanuts in crab boil was not what I expected. Living in New Orleans for over 10 years I thought this may be a nice touch. Truly it was a bowl of hot peanuts soaked in salt. The crawfish mac and cheese seems to be what many patrons rave about. I will give it a 1/10. The 1 is for being piping hot when it came to the table. It's more or less velveeta shells and cheese with crawfish. Definitely not what I anticipated. The one item that made the experience work it was the shrimp burger. Delicious. Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned and paired with the right condiments. In addition, cute little restaurant. Great ambiance and great selection of music.

Gina F.

Yelp
I found a hidden gem! Well it was hidden to me and a lot of others knew about it because it got pretty full as we were in there. I was looking for a place to celebrate a friend birthday dinner after work, that had good crab legs. Bon Ton came up on my Yelp search and after reading reviews, made a reservation. The building front is of pink color and they do have their own dedicated, free parking, which is such a plus in Atlanta. Walked in and they had just opened and there was one other table occupied. I was greeted and asked if I had a reservation, which I did and was late for, but she was so pleasant and said that's ok and sat me and then brought me water while I waited for the others to arrive. Such a cute, eclectic environment inside that I was enjoying just looking around at everything from artwork to light fixtures. It's not a large place, but it never felt overly crowded and there is available outside seating. They have a full bar, but they do have some specialty cocktails on the menu and I ordered a smoked bourbon Mai tai, which was a great choice that one of my friends ordered it for her second drink after tasting mine. We ordered three appetizers to share for the table; charbroiled crab claws, charbroiled oysters, and hot sticky chicken. All the appetizers were beyond delicious. The flavors were amazing that I just knew the entrees were going to be fabulous! For entree I ordered the smoked crab legs and everyone followed suite and ordered the same thing. lol! I have never had a smoked crab leg, but I will definitely come back and have them again. The only thing to make note, the broth in the bowl for the crab legs is super spicy, so if you add potato's and corn and they are soaking in that broth, you will definitely have your nose running from the spice. You know when the flavor is so good that you disregard the spice and just keep eating! The server/hostess was awesome and super friendly and prompt to get to the table and refill waters and remove empty plates. Such an enjoyable experience. We went outside to get a photo after dinner and the owner happened to be coming in and he popped in a photo with us. Such a great reflection of the overall feel of Bon Ton

Lucie P.

Yelp
The restaurant was cute. I got the Nashville Hot Po Boy which was ok, but not spicy at all so a bit disappointing. The fries it came with were tasty though. My partner loved the Etoufee bowl he got. The drinks were good and our server was lovely. Overall a decent place for a casual date night.

Renee B.

Yelp
We had a lovely time at this sparkly purple little Cajun spot near downtown. Visiting Atlanta for a few days and decided to try something different... this place was divine. Loved everything about it! Quaint, chic, quirky (furry wall to where?) mellow vibe, great prices. We sampled a few food options and everything was delightful - perfectly seasoned with the right amount of spice, arrived super fast and hot. The cocktails are strong and thoughtfully concocted. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. There were so many more menu items I want to try. I'll definitely be back when I return to ATL!

Dan M.

Yelp
Had a business shindig in the new upstairs room with about 15 people. Mostly a fixed menu but a good variety so I feel I got a good flavor of the food. Very friendly and patient waitress (Mick). Poor lady had a lot to deal with but was so professional and pleasant. Great variety of vegetarian/fish dishes for our family and meat dishes for the rest of the group. Starter salad had some awesome pickled veggies. I had the blackened catfish and the wife had the chickpea etouffee. My dish was very good but hers was outstanding. Good depth of flavor with the right amount of heat for her. Great vibe, great food, great service. Look forward to heading back and trying from the menu.

Helen H.

Yelp
I'm in between a 3 and 4. I'll Lean towards 4 bc there are more thigns I wanted to try. Good- The etouffe bowl was delicious. The catfish bowl was yummy Eh- Bon ton fries- limp and not flavorful Shrimp burger- eh Service was super slow A lot of things were not available and the menu is much smaller than the one online

Gaby B.

Yelp
There are so many bonuses to this spot. Perfect for a date or girls night out, and will not disappoint. Even if you sit at the bar. The parking is limited and tight but not hard to find within their lot. Check in at the table, and be mindful to stand inside as it's a bit tight. However, seating doesn't take super long. The food is incredible, served hot and suuuuper tasty if you enjoy Cajun food. They know seafood!! The staff here is excellent. I have to say they know how to serve with style and grace. My bestie and I enjoyed Christmas drinks and picked at a few things: Fried Oysters Hush puppies Crab cake It was pretty busy for a late-ish dinner. We got reservations for 9PM (strongly recommend) and it was such a great ambiance, from large groups, to small ones, to couples. Grab those peanuts! They are great for picking and compliment everything. Truly superb experience.

Dawn M.

Yelp
My sister raved about the smoked crab legs and I couldn't wait to visit to try them. We had an 8:30pm reservation and were seated once we arrived. Our server Chris was good until we couldn't find him to pay our tab. But otherwise, service was good. Bon Ton is a small, intimate spot with a scrumptious looking menu. My sister ordered the boiled peanuts and hush puppies as an appetizer and we got the smoked crab legs and potatoes as our entrees. The peanuts are so good! Spicy but still have a crunch to them. You can tell they're not sitting in water all day because the texture was not mushy at all. The hush puppies were basic to me and only tasted good if you dipped them in the accompanying sauce. The crab legs are everything! I don't know whose idea it was to smoke crab legs but I thank them! They were cooked perfectly as the meat came right out the shell and the flavor was like a kiss from heaven. The potatoes were good too but I didn't eat many since I was all into the crab legs. I also ordered the lemonade made Bon Ton style and I highly suggest you try it as well. If you have time and are looking for something different, make a reservation for Bon Ton and enjoy!

Anthony W.

Yelp
The food was awesome and delicious. The smoked snow crabs and crab claws we very delicious. The 5 spice broccoli is a must try as well as the others.

Tyron H.

Yelp
Sat at the bar. Don't remember his name, but the bartender guy with long hair provided excellent customer service. He also had a great singing voice. Ambiance was sophisticated-casual with nostalgic classics by various artists playing at a comfortable volume. The employees were friendly and professional. Food prices were affordable for moderate portion sizes. I ordered a seafood boil with asian fusion style boiled peanuts as an appetizer. The flavor was good but don't expect to experience New Orleans in a dish. Enjoyed it though! Overall, It's was a chill vibe. Great place to catch up with friends. Craft cocktails were delectable. I recommend.

Yelp
Food was amazing and reasonable prices for all the incredible seafood. Loved the ambience. The service was a little slow but reasonable considering how busy it was. Great place to fill any seafood craving.

Yelp
I love Bon Ton and can't believe I've never left a review! It's a casual spot that takes away the headache of trying to eat in Atlanta (they take reservations & have a parking lot) and has great seafood. I love bringing friends and family here and they have a small outdoor patio which is cool for a date night in the summertime since inside can get pretty noisy.

Yelp
Pretty solid spot! Definitely hit or miss depending on what you order. For the apps, we ordered the crab claws. A little expensive for the portion I suppose, but they were reallllly tasty. For my main, I had the shrimp burger, and I will be talking about that burger for a long time because it was so good. I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars because my friend's crab cake was sub par in my opinion and service was just ok. I would come back specifically for that shrimp burger though. Seriously, order it!

Yelp
Bon Ton has great cocktails and spicy crawfish. I don't go out to eat a lot but I enjoy sitting at a good bar for drinks and their bar has lots of good options to try out as well as good service and people watching. They decorate for Mardi Gras and Christmas which is fun, and the general decor is cosy and eccelctic.
