I have no idea what Nina Ramirez is going on about! I'm Hispanic/Latino and I've been to this shop several times; NOT ONCE has anyone running this shop ever greeted me in any manner other than friendly and respectful. This shop has had events and the store has been packed with a diverse group of people, all being treated and attended to with respect by the owner and people assisting her. It sounds like Nina has a few hang-ups she should get over, otherwise, she may continue to jump to the wrong conclusion and besmirch people who are genuinely kind and welcoming. I mean, when the owner is willing to walk in the back room, leaving the whole store attendant with (dare I say) a Hispanic man and his black friend, I don't think she's too worries about whether or not we're going to shoplift (not shop lyft... unless you're talking about shopping for a ride home).

On June 28 I stopped by Top Knot Vintage for a gift for my girlfriend. I gotta say I was so happy i did. The lady at the counter was very helpful. I described what kind of stuff my gf is into and showed me the perfect dress for her. I wasn't sure if it'd fit so I ended up taking a pic of it and got a gift certificate instead. My girl went back yesterday and grabbed the dress plus a Veluspa candle because there was a 20% off sale too! She loved the place. Thank you Top Knot! Definitely returning soon!

I walked in to look around and thought I'd give this shop a chance . I love looking for new fashion peaces . I of Mexican American decent . When I walked in the owner looked at me like I was bothering her . Like really ?!!! I'm in here trying to support your business and your giving me dirty looks .... I felt her looking at me then she turns to her associate and whispers something to him and he looks at me . I was out that place. I can't stand racist people. Mind you I was dressed cute and did not look like a ghetto girl trying to shop Lift. I will never shop in there again. The owner is I felt like was a racist . Lesson to the owner greet your customer , smile and ask if they need assistance . Terrible service even if you don't like people of other races ... we are why you stay in business .... Response to the owner : I'm not sure Who was there that day .. but I'm not a lier !! That was my experience who ever was there was racist did not assist me , did not greet me . So when you say you have no idea why I would feel that way then stop and think! Could that have been ? For the owner I did retract the Carrie comment because I was mad and that's mean to say . I apologize for hurting your feelings if I did . . I still will never shop there again and that's my choice .. you made me feel like I was about to steal . So Please stop with the act. You have bad customer service so take it as constructive criticism and train your employees to be better associates . And to whom ever does not agree with me and trying to correct my grammar I don't care !!! Get a life !!! I was mad that day and started to write this as it was fresh on my mind so I was pissed... and there is such a thing as making a mistake . And it's funny people try to comment saying ohhh this never happens . But hello it happened to me and I was voicing my experience. So if you people have a different experience then good for you ... maybe you got treated different due to looking like a weirdo . So stop trying to justify bad customer service !!! This is why we get bad customer service . And to that guy responding to my experience ..... the Latino Hispanic lol!!!! In a white boy voice Ok Latino .... shut your ass up acting tough on Internet you weirdo !!! Get a life and mind your business.... go beat it lol

Cons: Small selection of clothing in limited sizes and an even smaller selection of accessories. Street parking only, will have to park in a residential area. Pros: Clean, good music, friendly employees.

Really cool owner with a great eye for stylish vintage clothing. She's part of the indie artist community. Check it out!

One of the best thrift stores in LA. Great selection of men's and women's vintage.

Hours have changed they are Mon through Saturday 11-7pm and Sunday 12-6pm.
