Superb fusion food existing executed. Great value for money and excellent for groups. Loved the Crack Broccoli (had to order seconds!) And the hot chicken and pork belly bao. Karaage wasn't crispy, but still tasty with mint, pear and jalapeños. Definitely worth a visit. Ambience and service both top knot-ch.

Came to Top Knot for their Uncommon Ramen series on 7/31 and really enjoyed the special Ramen and Japadog entries. I've been to almost all of the other Uncommon Ramen series and have really enjoyed the experience and food at everyone! This series featured guest Chef John Tesar, who created the Kinoko Iwana Ramen (mushroom based) and the Oi-Muchin Japadog. The series also included a beer special with Deep Ellum's Playdate which is a sour pale ale. I really like sours and the Playdate was no exception, I will definitely which I really enjoyed and will get again when out. We tried all of the specials plus their excellent Yucca Chips. The Yucca Chips were thin and crispy with a little bit of spice and went well with the edamame hummus. Next we each got a Japadog, which was very interesting. The Vietnamese sausage tasted okay by itself, but when mixed with the rest of the Japadog the flavors were outstanding! I would definitely order the Japadog again if it was offered. The ramen was primarily mushroom based and included shiitake mushrooms, pickled mushrooms, a piece of artic char, tofu, a sous vide egg, whole wheat noodles, and a packet of dried seaweed. The ramen series can be a great opportunity to try a ramen that you might not normally order and the Kinoko Iwana Ramen definitely fit in that category. I wouldn't have ordered this ramen off of a regular menu, but I am very happy I got to try it! The broth was very tasty and the flavors of the mushrooms with the artic char were outstanding! The noodles were expertly cooked and the dried seaweed added additional flavors to the ramen. Top Knot has an excellent regular dinner menu and their Ramen Series are really something special. I will definitely be back for the next Ramen Series in a month!

Only have had a drink at this place before dinner at Uchi but seems like a great place to have a good cocktail before heading for dinner. I will update my review when I eat here. I didn't give it a 5 star since I felt their cocktail menu was a bit short. I would really give them a 4.5 since I feel it's not that big of a deal.

The food is amazing! Portion size has you wanting more, but the taste totally makes up for it. I would whole heartily recommend this place for any person wanting to try sushi or other Asian cuisine. At first glance the place looks like a high end bar since it seemed like only alcohol and water was served to drink, I'm birdie if anything else is served we went on Sunday and only alcohol was on the menu, we stuck with the complementary water. Wait staff is really amicable, and down to earth. I would totally recommend this place.

Great food and service! We were late for our reservation (oops!), but the staff was accommodating and got us seated immediately. The food was delicious and wait times short. Great atmosphere if you're looking for a quick dinner or happy hour in downtown. 10/10 would recommend.

I enjoyed my brunch experience at Top Knot. The crowd is comprised of young, cool professional folks. All attractive and fashion forward. Good people watching. The food is different and good. I sampled a few items to get a feel for the tastes. Eggs were buttery and perfectly scrambled. Potato hash... Really not a hash, more like mini whole parties tossed in a twangy sauce. Good but not my favorite. Avocado toast was very salty and you only get one very narrow slice - not worth $14. And then came the Chicken Bun- this was highlight! Soo good. The taste is sweet and spicy and the bun will absolutely melt in your mouth. Overall good brunch. I would return for sure.

Dallas has no shortage of wonderful cuisine. Top Knot is up there as one of my favorites. It's like an Asian tapas. They serve excellent hand rolls as well as favorites like salt and pepper squid. If buns are your thing, they have a healthy selection of that as well. Other oddities like yucca chips with hummus is unexpected but delicious and fitting. They have a respectable Japanese whiskey list. Price is as spectacular though. I think Yamazaki 12 year was $25 for 2oz. :-/ If you're reading this and on your way, ask for Brianna when you get there. She provided excellent service and recommendations for both food and sake.

Good food and staff were kind. But, messed our order up and had forgot things and had things coming out even after we had settled the bill. Had a party of 10, and was definitely NOT a good place for a large party. Platters were way too small. Better as a date-night place.
