Had a great experience at Top Shelf. The pricing was reasonable and Heather was super responsive and helpful in the ordering process. Smooth pick up, and the cookies themselves came out beautiful and were delicious! They were perfect for a bridal shower - huge hit.

I recently worked with Top Shelf Cookies for a large trade show, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the initial request to the final product, everything was so easy, professional, and - most importantly - delicious!! Our branded cookies were not only individually packaged and beautifully designed with our logo, but they also tasted amazing. Our booth traffic was the hit of the day, with everyone on the lookout (top favorite flavor was the HBD2U!!). If you're looking for a unique and high-impact giveaway, i can't recommend this place enough. They're responsive, creative and clearly passionate about what they do. Can't wait to partner with them again for future events!

Great cookies! I ordered the monthly subscription for my parents and they love them. Good variety, high quality, and the hold up in shipping (coming from Boston to Portland OR). I had a small billing issue with the company and they jumped on it immediately and took care of it. Great customer service. Love what they’re doing and how they’re doing it!

I love Top Shelf Cookies so much that I had them cater my wedding! Our 4 flavors – Boston lager chocolate chip, lemon coriander, s'mores, and rainbow sprinkles – were a hit with our guests. It was easy to communicate with Heather about our order of 300 cookies. She was friendly and responsive. We paid online and picked up the order the morning of our wedding. I'm a school social worker who promised homemade cookies to some students...some stuff happened, yada yada yada, and I never got around to baking. TopShelf Cookies saved my life! I called to ask some questions, and after speaking with the nicest person ever (Marla I think!), the owner Heather sent me a code for $10 off my order. A few hours later, I had my chosen variety of gigantic, gorgeous, DELICIOUS cookies delivered to the front desk at my school! Thoroughly enjoyed by students and staff alike. Just tried Top Shelf for the first time and it was a lovely experience from beginning to end. I got a dozen cookies, a mix of their chocolate chip and holiday options. Just had a chocolate chip and will absolutely be back. It's a nice size - indulgent but not overwhelming, chewy and just delicious. I was also blown away by my experience in the store. I walked in and it smelled SO good, and I had one of the best customer service experiences ever. I regret not getting her name, but this young woman asked if it was my first visit and when I said yes, she gave me a thorough yet concise lay of the land. She was so patient, warm and kind and it truly made my day. Thank you!

Love Top Shelf cookies especially their "signature" Black and Gold cookies. Simply delicious - the perfect amount of chewy, chocolatey (cocoa vs milk chocolate) crunchy goodness. Just a hint of sweetness making you feel like they're truly good for your body as well as your soul! So even without caloric content info on their packaging , you didn't mind not knowing because they taste like they're made from the purest ingredients. Top Shelf Cookies staff was at a farmers market in Quincy MA. Very friendly and enthusiastic about their great cookies. Truly believe in their product. She was ready to tell us the top 3 sellers.

We always have to stop by Top Shelf Cookies when we pass by! The staff is very kind and attentive, and patient while we choose our cookie flavors. Their flavors are unique (see photos) and tasty without being too overbearing. We like their softness (and sometimes warm them up a bit for more gooeyness). Their storefront is clean and tidy, and it's fun to see some behind-the-scenes work with the ovens. Whether you like the classic Hazel's Chocolate Chip or a more adventurous Raspberry Lime Rickey, there's a flavor (or 10) for you here!

Unfortunately a very negative experience on my one visit, which ended with me being ordered out of the bakery. Not worth getting into, but one for the books. This is my neighborhood and I was excited to try this business. My family spent enjoyable time on their website looking at the many options and placed a large order online for an event. The upside: the cookies were decent and packaged nicely. Also the owner reached out to me afterwards and made an effort to rectify the encounter and I appreciated that. However, the outrageous and frankly unhinged customer service that I experienced was unacceptable.

Support local neighborhood businesses in the community Stopped by around 11:56am wanted to get the Bruins black & gold cookie and got a box of 6 cookies for work today and got the ice cream cookie, I saw on there instagram page posted! The staff is friendly was greeting when I entered the store. The young lady helped with choice off cookies. The place smelled so good from the baking of cookies!! Clean store, excellent customer service from the staff. The cost was very affordable $19.69. The taste of the cookies delicious a nice crunch on the outside moist inside not over baked fresh and made with love I was overwhelmed with delight so so good! Heather wasn't working but her staff as awesome!

I am a sucker for niche dessert places! This store has 12 kinds of cookies, 6 that stay and 6 that rotate. The 6 that stay all year round are are mostly Boston themed with Boston ingredients which I absolutely loved. We couldn't decide which ones to try so we got all 12 and did a little sampling of each of them when we got home. My favorites were the black and gold (chocolate peanut butter, reference to the bruins) and the chocolate strawberry for Valentine's Day! The staff was lovely and talked us through all of the questions we had. The flavors were so creative, definitely worth stopping by!

These cookies are pretty good. I happen to be quite a cookie snob which stems from childhood. Trying to seek out homemade-style cookies is not always easy but I have searched high & low. Some may be better than others though depending on what strikes your fancy. There are some great flavor combinations which is nice. I do wish they had vegan cookies though. I was not a fan of their fluffernutter which was like a sugar bomb in my mouth & did not taste like peanut butter at all. I wish the cookies were softer though as I am not a fan of crunchy style cookies. It's kind of great they are in my neighborhood which is also dangerous. I am not a fan of corn syrup being used in cookies though.

My bf and I stopped in before heading to the city and wow! This place is delicious. The cookies were soft and crunchy. The variety of flavors was amazing and the cookies weren't overly huge. The cookies weren't overly sweet and I really appreciated that because crumbl cookie, for example, is just way too much. The service was great and the shop was clean! I do with the cookies were stored a little different because 2 of the cookies were a little hard but I think it's more because of the storage. Overall, amazing!!

Heather and Top Shelf are the actual best. The Cookie subscription is such a fun way to give a unique gift that keeps on giving. Creative and delicious recipes with extra love baked in! Outstanding customer service - highly recommend!

I ordered a dozen cookies. Chocolate chip and walnut chocolate chunk. I was excited to eat the walnut chocolate chunk and give the chocolate chip cookies to my children. We didn't wait to get home. My expectations of the cookies where high. I was a bit disappointed in the inconsistent texture of the walnut chocolate chunk. It was quiet hard on the outer edges and moist in the inside. I also expected to crunch down on walnut here and there but the were none in sight. I did taste hints of walnut (maybe it had some type of walnut flavoring added and not the actual nut it's self). Without even asking my 8 year old said the chocolate chip cookies where salty. And my 4 year old refused to finish his which was a surprise. What 4 year old doesn't finish a cookie? I quickly found out via tasting myself that yes the cookie had a salty after taste and could of been a tinge bit sweeter. Even my teenage son tasted them and he didn't finish them off. Which is super weird because he eats us out a house and home. Needless to say we didn't finish the dozen of cookies. $16.00 down the drain.

Good, really really good! Soft cookies! Lots of flavors too! If you are a quirky oatmeal raisin lover like me, just get it!

Tasty Cookies and Amazing Service I got some cookies as a birthday gift and they got rave reviews on tastiness. Heather also was so kind and helpful when something went wrong with my order -- she helped correct the issue and even got my order out that same morning.

Got a 6 cookies and a frappe that came out to $17. Would expect fresh cookies and a good shake--nope. Cookies were clearly not fresh. They're hard and cold. They're pretty good--except for the chocolate fluff, which was tasted blegh--but not worth the price. I'm more annoyed about the shake. It came in a 8oz cup, so it was already really small for $6.50, but it was barely 3/4 full. When I asked about is employee just said that that's the recipe, which is a little hard to believe, because it was also watery as hell and tasted flavorless. Mad bummed; i don't mind a high price if it's worth the money, but it really wasn't.

I wish I could give this business a 10 star. Heather the owner went above and beyond. I reached out to order over the weekend and although they didn't have delivery drivers available to deliver this weekend. Heather personally went to Children's hospital to deliver. Not only did she go above and beyond for me but she brought a huge smile to a girls face knowing she is being thought of and loved!! Thank you Heather and Top Shelf Cookies!!!

We were gifted their Cookie of the Month subscription for Christmas 2020 and it has been such a treat! We live in CA and the shipment always arrives fresh and on time. Such an awesome idea for holiday gifts!

These cookies are amazing! I first tried them at the SOWA Winter Festival, and I got these amazing peppermint cookies. Then I ordered some sugar cookies with a decorating kit for Valentine's Day. They were delicious! Recently I ordered even more cookies, the Red Line (the red velvet cookies) and the Flood (molasses and ginger, if you like gingerbread cookies, this is your thing). So good! The ladies who work here are also very nice. I really love supporting a local woman-owned business that also makes great products. Some of the best cookies I've had! But I do wish you would open a shop in Somerville/Medford :)

Heather runs a terrific business. I was not 100 % satisfied with cookies sent to my home in California - a long shipment time- she sent me another shipment that I did not pay for to impress me with their taste and freshness and has won me over. All chocolate and sugar cookies were moist and tasty. Individually wrapped (2) they are delicious. I totally recommend this business and their care in their products. Michele

These are the best cookies I've ever had, and I consider myself a cookie snob and expert(in cookie eating that is!). I ordered several different kinds, and each was better than the next. My order was delayed a day due to waiting on an ingredient for one of the cookies I ordered. When I expressed to Heather, the owner, that I would like to add a new flavor to my order that just came on the site since they weren't sent out yet, she threw them in on the house! BTW, they are carrot cake cookies, and quite amazing! The service is superb and Heather is as responsive as you can get :). If you are a cookie person, do yourself a favor and try Top Shelf Cookies... they really are the best :)

I love Top Shelf Cookies! I placed an order online to have delivered to my girlfriend's apartment on Valentine's day and they were perfect! The customer service was amazing too, I called the shop to confirm my order and they were extremely nice and reassuring my order would be delivered on time. Highly recommend if you want delicious and cute cookies.

Preface this with I am generally not a fan of a shop that just sells cookies or just sells cupcakes. I usually find them overly hyped and just ok. BUT, stopped in for 2 dozen cookies at Top Shelf. They were awesome and the women inside were super friendly hand helpful. Got a dozen chocolate chip. And then got a mixed dozen that included the green monster (chocolate cookie with a mint flavor), oatmeal raisin, some marshmallow duff cookie that was AMAZING and a toffee kinda cookie. All were awesome. I brought them as a hostess gift to a party and they were well received. Will definitely be back again!

These are really good cookies. Complex but unpretentious, with flavors like Boston Lager Chocolate Chip (the classic w/ hints of ginger? or cinnamon maybe) and Lemon Coriander (tastes like fruity pebbles!) Very reasonably priced and fresh even when I stopped in right before closing. The owner, Heather, is hard working, customer-oriented and really sweet. Topshelf is a welcomed addition to Adams Village!

I've tried the raspberry, spicy chocolate and green tea ginger. They were good, but waaaaay overpriced. I justified it this time because I felt like I was supporting local. But I would much rather grab a gourmet cookie from Wegmans or whole foods.

I called at the last minute. The owner suggested something that was in stock, 617 Samplah. Then hand delivered it to the hotel in Boston. My niece and nephew were delighted. I heard that the cookies were awesome. Thank you and I will definitely send gifts from here again.

YUM! The cookies are SO good!! My favorite is Hazel's Chocolate Chip and Black & Gold! Heather and her team are passionate about what they do and are always coming up with new, awesome cookie ideas! I love how involved in the community they are. You can find them at farmers markets, local breweries, shops around the Boston area and on topshelfcookies.com. An easy way to found out where they are is by checking their social channels (ie. Instagram and Facebook). These cookies are great as a gift or for yourself!

There is not a single cookie from Top Shelf Cookies that I don't enjoy eating. That said, this fan of chocolate adores eating Cocoverdose. I am so excited that I can now pop into their store as well as order online.

The best in Boston. My sister found them at the SOWA market and suggested them for our wedding as we wanted something different than a cake. Heather was super nice and personable. We went in for a tasting and it was so hard just to pick a few. My favorite is the Sam Adams Chocolate Chip (which was completely gone at end of night) and m husbands is the black and gold, unreal and stay fresh for days. We also got a castle island whiskey cookie to go with our St Patrick's Day theme, delicious and different. They delivered to our venue and provided flavor cards with allergy info. Can't wait to try more!!

Ok, I'm not supposed to eat many but I love Top Shelf Cookies! You can taste the love and care that goes into developing the recipes, testing, and producing every batch. I have my favorites...the Vermonter is my all time, as I'm a big fan of a cookie with nuts or other chewy things embedded (raisins are good too), but I know that all of their cookies are delicious and many are really unusual. We ordered cookies as wedding favors for my daughter's wedding and everyone was pleased. Those were favors that were not left behind.... Check them out if you have the chance! There are lots of options and the cookie of the month club delivers a box of delicious stuff to your doorstep.

As a long time consumer of everything that comes out of Top Shelf Cookies oven, I felt compelled to write a review after Heather (the owner) did a fantastic job on a cookie buffet for our wedding. We only needed to meet with Heather once for her to capture all of the details we wanted included in our cookie buffet. We could not have been any happier with the service we received; it was the only thing better than the cookies themselves.

We had a cookie bar buffett for our wedding from Top Shelf and it was the best decision we made in wedding party planning. Guests were raving all night about how good the cookies were and everyone was asking me who made them and where could get more. Working with Top Shelf to make sure we had the right number of cookies, flavor variety and all the other logistics was great. We did a cookie tasting where they bake everything and we were in a food coma after (as a chocolate fan, I am not complaining!). I would highly recommend Top Shelf to anyone who is looking to go non-traditional at their next event and go off the map of ordering any old sheet cake.

I bought some cookies at the Dewey Square Farmers Market .. the idea of a cookie sounded really good at the time. The woman running the booth was a bit rude but I had already decided to buy so I made the purchase. What a mistake. I ate one of the cookies which tasted ok at first, but had a strange metallic aftertaste .. almost like the taste of liver. I ate 1 full cookie and a small bite of a second and threw the rest out. About an hour later I was very sick, and had diarrhea.. needless to say it was not fun. I have no idea what was in those cookies, but I plan to go back next week to find out. I don't normally write reviews like this.. but I thought it was a good idea in this case given my experience. Beware what you are eating!
