I was searching all over the place for a Vegan bakery that had Vegan cakes available literally day of and so many people needed special times and orders days out, NOT top tier I called and Jack who answered the phone was soo kind, thoughtful and professional. They had full size, mini, and cupcakes all vegan ready to rock and roll. They would even be able to right something on the cake within just minutes if I needed. They also serve original non vegan cakes and pastries as well. The place was clean and had corky, beautiful, elegant art all around. Checking out was fast and easy. And all this happened on a Saturday. They have great hours, other places were closing around 2 or 3pm in the afternoon on a Saturday I believe they were open until 4pm. The cakes were absolutely delicious, rich, creamy, moist NO LIE. I’m not a vegan and I couldn’t tell a difference DOWN TO THE ICING. I would 100% recommend this place. Thanking Jack again for being truly amazing. Keep up the beautiful work you all. I pray the business continues to thrive and succeed. In the heart of LA, sawtelle area.

Felt I was really taken advantage of. I was even quoted a higher price the ‘melted’ effect (see chocolate cake on right) as you can see. Nothing like this looks melted and it just looks like the most minimal effort. The actual cake was tiny as well. Did taste good. But I paid a ton for it. I’ve gotten sheet cakes for the same price that could feed an entire room. (That had a major design.) overall just disappointed. My boyfriend was in good spirits about it, but I’ve been around excellence in cakes and I’ve paid for some fantastic designs with time and effort and this was not one of them.

if you need a cake - GO HERE! Top tier made me the most incredible custom vegan cake. This cake was exactly what I asked for and it was delicious and fairly priced. Can’t wait for another occasion for another cake.

We ordered a birthday cake from Top Tier Treats for our daughter’s 3rd birthday and it was absolutely perfect! This is actually the third year in a row we’ve ordered from Top Tier, and they’ve made every one of her birthday cakes. The communication and service have always been phenomenal! Thank you so much for the beautiful cake! You truly outdid yourself! From the adorable Peppa Pig design on the outside to the delicious strawberry and funfetti inside, it was a hit with our whole family! We’re so grateful for the love and care that went into every detail. Highly recommend!

I don't think there is a better cake tasting experience in Los Angeles than the one that Top Tier Treats provides. After sampling the abundance of combinations available, my husband and I decided to book Top Tier Treats for our wedding day. Jamaica, the owner, was so easy and professional to work with. And on the actual day, our wedding cake arrived on schedule and looked just like the reference photos we had provided. But even better, it TASTED DELICIOUS! We can't wait to order it for future anniversary celebrations!!

It’s a rare business with “best” or “top” in its name that actually lives up to that promise. Top Tier Treats is one of them. The kind and responsive staff made a custom birthday cake that improved on a family-favorite flavor combo. My cake turned out so well that I literally wanted to have it and eat it too; the overall decoration, as well as the texture and color-balance of each slice, was perfect. And the flavor was fantastic. Excellent place.

The chocolate cake here is decadent! The lemon bar was delicious. The oatmeal cookie is probably the best oatmeal cookie I've ever had - flavor and texture were on point! My favorite item is probably the carrot cake though - super moist and flavorful. The store is located on a busy street, but you can find street parking. Jamaica is super nice and willing to answer any questions!

I didnt order a cake from here but I tried to and the person who answered the phone was so rude! I am looking for a wedding cake and I had shared that and the woman was rude that I need to do it online. I said that I had already done that and just wanted a range of prices for the cakes. She got short with me and said she didn't do that. Several hours later, I received a passive aggressive email response to my email. It took hours for them to respond and their online form doesnt even work. A company's poor procedures or technology should not impact my experience doing business with a company. Again, unprofessional and unpleasant experience! I ended up getting a quote and beautiful cake from another vendor. Buying a cake shouldnt be a head ache!!

TTT is a very cute dessert place on Pico just west of Sawtelle. There's alot of treats to choose from and I had a slice of berry vanilla cake and a small chocolate cupcake. Service is professional and there's some chairs to sit at outside but no table(should be a few small tables). I drop a star for small size, lack of furnishings and high prices for below average value. Recommended.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Jamaica at Top Tier Treats for our wedding! We went with a small cake for us (chocolate mocha with plain white fondant on the outside) while our guests enjoyed an array of cupcakes. Jamaica made it easy to accomodate our vegan/dairy free family and friends by providing a variety of vegan flavors. I would use Top Tier Treats for a future event in a heartbeat!

Wow, the pecan bar is a butter bomb!! Don't wanna know how much butter they use, don't need to know. Light saltiness balances it somewhat. Totally worth $4.99. Red Velvet Cupcake - Small but good. Cake was moist but kinda chewy. Would not get again Berry cake slice - Light and delicious! Maybe it's the berry mousse and purée. Love the subtle berry frosting. They also sell pies and cheesecake. Several creative, colorful cakes on display inside, look too pretty to eat. They can accommodate dietary requests. For special orders, please give them a week. Cakes are expensive but for a special occasion I would consider Top Tier. Friendly service and their own private parking lot! Hope they sell Chocolate Peanut Butter by the slice. Just wish the one day they're closed wasn't Sunday.

I ordered chocolate and vanilla cupcakes from here. The chocolate cupcakes were very good and moist but the vanilla cupcakes were a bit hard and crumbly. I will say that they were decorated exactly how i asked them to and they were very accommodating when i had to change the date for pick up.

Hooray! I've found my new "go-to" for birthday cakes! I ordered a chocolate cake here last week for my dad's 75th birthday party and it did not disappoint! Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and buttercream fill. And it was beautiful too! Lovely, personalized birthday message on top with fresh flowers. It was such a hit at the party. I will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the cake was from Top Tier Treats. It was hard to find a bakery that specialized in vegan cakes, so for those to whom vegan is important, this is a great find. They personalized the cake and added lovely flowers. I have to admit that I balked at the price, but I suppose that is the price of a specialty item like vegan.

If you need a cake for a special occasion, whether a birthday party, anniversary, or any other celebration, look no further than this place. Over the years, we have ordered several cakes from them and every time they outdo themselves. This year we got two cakes for my daughter and Son's joint three and five year birthday parties, and Top Tier Treats knocked it out of the park. In terms of design, I shared what I was looking for Farm themed, dual cakes, one in a smaller size, with specific animals (including a unicorn on one because that's what my daughter wanted), and it turned out beautifully. Beyond my expectations. But the cakes don't only look good they taste really good too. One of my favorite flavors is their banana bread flavor which is just delicious and not too sweet. The other flavor we got was vanilla with the berry filling. The cakes were so tasty and beautiful that everyone at the party was asking us where we got them from. Another thing I love about them is that they are so responsive over email, always replying within a timely manner, and in a very thorough way. And this time around especially I had a lot of questions and requested the cakes to be specifically a certain way. They accommodated my every need and asked great follow-up questions to make sure the cakes were exactly what I wanted. I don't know why it has taken me this long to write a five star review of this place, but if you're considering ordering from them, do it!

As you can see by my photos, I have been ordering my cakes here for years! Hands down, best bakery in LA. Jamaica and her team deliver fresh, delicious, moist cakes each time. Never overly sweet, you can taste the freshness in them and I honestly can say that the quality and consistency of their work has never altered. After each party, I secretly hope that I ordered more than I needed so I can have the extras to indulge in myself when guest are gone. Placing an order is super easy as well, email the team and they get back to you quickly with so many follow up questions to make sure you get what you are inquiring about. Vegan but doesn't taste vegan, super good and I really like the lady that helps me with the cakes whenever I pick up. She's so friendly and nice, giving me the proper instructions of how to place the cake in the car and when to eat it. 9 round cake for $65. She also makes a bunch of other flavors

I've gone to Top Tier for two cakes now, the most recent being this past Saturday for my nephews 1st birthday. My very first cake with Top Tier was last July and they were wonderful enough to take my order on short notice because my original bakery cancelled on me. Not only are the cakes adorable they also taste so good. For this past weekend I ordered a vanilla cake with mixed berry filling and it was incredible. It was the most perfect cake and I'm so impressed by Top Tier. I can't wait to go back for all my nephews cakes.

Desserts are so good! The staff is so friendly! Very cute place, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a specific cake or to just go for coffee and a couple sweet treats! Im so happy this place is in the neighborhood!

I needed a birthday cake based off a picture I received. It was simple flavors and a simple design. But I wanted it to taste good too so I had to do some research and found this company. Ordering is simple, order via calling the store. They're very friendly, no matter which staff you speak with. Since it was my first time ordering from them, I called the day before to double check everything was still ok and on track for delivery to the bday girl, and it was. They arrived during the window they said they would and everything went smoothly. The birthday girl even said it's the best cake she's had :)

They have the best vegan chocolate cake. The team they have is top tier and does absolutely amazing work you can tell they take pride in it. If you need a custom cake go here! Your going to get something that looks and tastes amazing! I can't recommend them enough. Please plan ahead and give them enough time to work their magic if you want a custom cake you won't regret it.

Jamaica is brilliant and wonderful, and so amazing to work with. I had been researching construction themed cakes for my son's birthday and came across Top Tier Treats. I reached out to Jamaica with all my ideas, and she was able to make sense of it all within the budget that I had. The process was so easy and she took away any stress I may have had about the cake. On the day of the party, I went to pick up the cake from her shop and it was beautiful! Everyone loved how the cake looked, but they were even more obsessed with how delicious it tasted! This my second time ordering from Top Tier Treats and their vegan cakes do not disappoint. I was looking for a non dairy cakes so ordering a vegan cake seemed like a great option. I ordered the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor; it was delicious and my guests couldn't believe it's vegan. The staff is really friendly and professional. Their customized cakes are not cheap but the quality is exceptional.

I'd like to start with, Top Tier Treats saved us! Our original bakery dropped the ball, but the wonderful team at Top Tier Treats took the job and with amazing results! With weeks before our wedding date, Jamaica took on our 4 tier cake with 3 different flavors, and fillings with great energy! I had purchased some edible pressed flowers, and handmade our cake topper, and the end result was just beyond what I could've ever imagined. Every point was executed flawlessly, and I must say, the Lemon cake with lemon curd, and lemon mousse was gone SO FAST! Hahaha!!! my husband and I just loved it! Glad we got so many pictures before it was joyously devoured by our guests Pictures provided by wedding guests, and the wedding photographer. I wanted to share just how many people loved the cake enough to take pictures. Thank you Top Tier Treats, we truly loved how it all turned out!

Thanksgiving 2023. We had already eaten our ham + turkey, salad, stuffing, and gravy. That was followed by a pumpkin pie that my hosts graciously provided. We were stuffed. I had made a fruit sculpture for healthy Karl who eats buckwheat pancakes for breakfast and drinks a homemade smoothie every day, and we were too stuffed to touch it. But we opened the box from Top Tier Treats and the wonderful smell of apple pie wafted out. We could not resist eating it. The 3 of us ended up eating more than half of the 10" pie, lol. Even healthy Karl ate 2 slices. The sweetness was right, the firmness was right (it wasn't drippy), and the streusel topping was perfect. Thank you, Top Tier Treats!

You can't go wrong with Top Tier Treats, trust us. Not only did our cake look stunning (exactly what we wanted) but it tasted amazing and got so many compliments (not always guaranteed with wedding cakes) We did one cake funfetti buttercream and one vegan vanilla buttercream. I'm vegan so I can attest to that one being de-lic-ious. My husband isn't vegan and he and everyone at our ceremony loved the funfetti one. Thank you sooo much for my son's 8th birthday cupcakes! They matched the design I asked for. My kid loves rainbows - the sprinkles were a must! I ordered 1 dozen vanilla & 1 dozen chocolate cupcakes with a flat-top frosting. The cupcakes were delicious and packed up in a bag - easy to transport to the party and not sliding all around in my car. The supersized cupcake we ordered for the birthday kid was just perfect to blow out his candle! Ordering and pickup was a breeze. The birthday candles next to the check-out were very convenient. The display case had so many beautiful cakes and cupcakes - I'll be back again!

It's just OK. My friend highly recommend top tier treats so I stopped by to get a slice of chocolate cake and a red velvet cupcake. Cakes were not moist and flavor wasn't unique, the chocolate was too thick and sweet to my taste.

I'll put it like this: it's been two months since the wedding and we are still eating our wedding cake little by little and it's the best thing we've ever had! My wife has been monitoring the size of my slices to make sure it will continue to last. In all seriousness, we were a difficult case because we wanted a vegan tier AND a vegan + gluten-free tier. We tried so many different cake shops but the vegan cakes just didn't taste quite right, and no one could pull off vegan and gluten-free together... until we found Jamaica and Top Tier Treats. They went above and beyond for us and not only made us what we were looking for, but it was actually the best cake we've ever had in our lives (even compared to non-vegan options made with gluten). And I feel like that's exactly how a wedding cake should be! The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. We took home the top layer and a little bit of the bottom tier. It was such a big hit that there was barely anything left and the whole 2nd tier was completely gone. The design was perfect. We loved it so much. We found out some guests had 3 slices! No one could believe that cake was vegan, and the vegan + gluten free tier ended up being the guests' favorite. So that really says something about how fantastic the recipes are. On top of all that, Jamaica delivered the cake 2 hours outside of Los Angeles, assembled it herself when she arrived, and worked with our florist to make sure it was perfect. Thank you for being such a big part of our wedding, and we'll absolutely keep you in mind for future events. I feel like we're going to need to have that gluten-free vegan chocolate cake again sometime haha!

We chose Top Tier Treats for my friend's baby's first birthday and WOW we could not be happier. The cake and smash cake came out absolutely gorgeous. We got a vanilla with vanilla butter cream and almond whipped filling and it was perfect - not too heavy but full of flavor. Not to mention every person that works here is so friendly, quick and easy to communicate, and really cares about their work! We absolutely will order from them again and again.

This review is for the last time I went and picked up a cake for my friends birthday. It also includes the previous times I've been here and haven't given a rating. I went here and picked up a dulce de leche cake to surprise a friend I haven't seen since before the pandemic. Oh I didn't order in advance and just did a walk in. They always have a good variety of smaller and larger cakes. The folks in the shop are always very helpful and answer my question since I don't buy cakes very often. It's always an easy transaction. For this particular cake, I really appreciated that it had delicious flavor without being overly sweet. He taste of this sweet caramel but with butter cake frosting, which tends to be more rich than just sweet. A great combination. My friend loved the cake and so did our other friend that was with us. In general, I have never had a bad experience coming to the shop. The kids are always delicious and beautiful. They always impressed. I have bought cakes in the past for my girlfriend at the time and for my former boss and again, it was always positive. This place is pretty much my go to when I need a cake especially in a pinch. I should note that I've never special ordered anything, which they do.

High-quality, artisian, and rich cakes. They'll put writing on them with fresh flowers. The chocolate is the bomb. They said Vanilla was their second flavor, but folks were not enamoured - try a different flavor.

I ordered the vegan chocolate cake for my wife's birthday and I must say that it was a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10. Perfectly decorated, delicious, and filling. If it wasn't so good, we might have trashed some. One thin slice and I was satisfied because it was filling. Needless to say, I had one thin slice three days in a row and so did my wife. My grandchildren had a few thin slices as well and I then finished off the last medium sized piece. I would recommend Top Tier Treats if you want delicious cake and I want the same cake for my birthday.

Wow! Everything here was soooooo good! The pb cocoa bomb was a great stand in for reeses cups. The red velvet cupcake was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life. So soft and moist, hard to believe how they could be vegan but makes me so happy. Cake slice was delicious, lemon poppy was good too. All around just super impressed and prices were totally reasonable. Will definitely go back again.

This bakery has amazing treats and cakes. We ordered a chocolate cake for my son's birthday that was delicious and beautifully decorated with his dinosaur theme.

I ordered a graduation cake for a virtual graduation and the whole experience was quick and easy! I called about a week ahead because I wanted a certain flavor (mango champagne) and they said it would be ready for pickup by the following week. I also requested a colored frosting for the writing which they were able to do with no additional charge. I called the day before pick up and they said the cake would be ready and when I came in the next day, it was ready! They also had beautiful custom cakes on display inside. I ordered a 6 in mango champagne cake for $30. Easily cheaper than many comparable places that I was looking into. I received instructions to let the cake sit out for one our prior to eating. The cake was soft and delicious! The mango flavor was great! There was a tad more whipped cream frosting in the center than I normally prefer but it was very light. Would definitely order another cake from here in the future! There is street parking in front of the store. Not busy at all (probably due to quarantine) but can see it being difficult to find parking if the street was busier.

OMG! I needed a custom cake order for my son's 8 yr birthday party. He wanted a Black Panther cake so I started searching the web for any bakeries in Los Angeles that could accommodate. They had an image online of one they'd made for another child so I contacted them without knowing anything's else (besides all the wonderful gallery photos from their website) and all the media coverage they've received. It was a literal last minute ask and they made him a marble cake with vanilla mouse filling and OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The cake was not only beautiful but soooo delicious! I am not a fan of fondant because it never tastes great and the fondant on this cake was black so I was really nervous that it would have an odd aftertaste or bitter. Even the fondant was good!!! You will NOT go wrong using Top Tier! Bravo!

I came into Top Tier Treats about a week before my birthday and tried their cakes. I tried strawberry and chocolate. They were both delicious but I fell in LOVE with the chocolate. I showed them my vision and what I wanted for my birthday. They were attentive, sweet, affordable and I can't wait to order another cake from them! Everyone couldn't believe it was vegan! People even licked the frosting off their plates! The cake was SO moist. I haven't had better. I ordered a chocolate cake with mocha frosting. I highly recommend this place. Street parking is available. Masks are required.
