The 18 Best Farmers Markets In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you want a farmers market moment straight out of a Visit California ad, head to Topanga Canyon. After a six-year hiatus, the Topanga Farmers Market is back with 40+ vendors selling produce, artisanal goods, and prepared foods in the Santa Monica mountains. Several of them are Topanga locals, too, like Eli’s Bee Co.’s locally sourced honey, Topanga Mother’s organic sourdough, and Sweet Raw Life’s vegan cheeses and yogurts. Well-known farms like Cuyama Orchards and Weiser Family Farms are also on hand, plus stalls selling tamales, yerba mate, and açai bowls. Open Friday, 9am-1pm." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder

This market is such a gem! Especially for those with kids! You have an incredible cross section of organic produce, food options, baked goods, unique craft stands all set amongst the beautiful mountains. Not to mention the playground is perfect for little ones and I love their activities such as kids music class under the oak tree and outdoor dance!

Beautiful market ! It’s in the heart of the mountains and it’s a breathtaking view and feel atmosphere. The vendors are epic and need all the support they can get … it’s imperative that we support local small organic and top of the mountain vendors .theres all kinds of beauty from

I absolutely love this market! It offers the best produce, a distinctive artisan market, free parking, delicious food, and hands down, the best view of any market around. What truly makes this market stand out is its strong sense of community. They actively seek feedback on what to offer, plan kid-friendly events, and even host an adorable holiday market during the winter months. I can’t wait to bring my friends from the Westside to experience it.

Topanga Farmers Market is pricey, so if you are looking for a deal, there is none to be had. Parking can be a bear and it is only open 9-1 on Friday. I think the dates are subject to change. Once at the market they have great vegetables and fruits, anything you can think of they have. They also sell clothes and some are really nice and hard to find elsewhere. We love the stalls with pickles, so so good. They have some really cool stalls with all sorts of things, from honey to perfume and things for the home. It is very nice and the vendors are great. The service is wonderful from all of the vendors. Have fun.

Google
Literally when you say community, this Farmers Market delivers bringing together the best local farmers and vendors to have community dance on the lawn, denim repairs, knife sharpening, and even a local mama breastfeeding connection in the community house. Fun kids activities and music class are also there depending on schedule and the most delicious bread ever from Hasí and Moulin Rouge yogurt is to die for plus local honey and micro greens and the best nuts I’ve ever had! Plus weekly piggy buns for my toddler from the Bao vendor. And the produce, gorgeous!!

The Topanga Farmers Market is a beautiful reflection of our little community… small and a little funky in the most perfect way. It is a staple of our community and my favorite place to go on Fridays. The vendors are all so sweet and friendly too.

Google
The most beautiful setting, a place to be in community and of course most importantly access to delicious healthy produce, flowers and food. My kids love to play on the playground there too. Check the site and insta page bc there are often really great programs.

Yelp
Had a great time today at the Farmer's Market. All the vendors are so nice and helpful. Such a great variety of goods. Really fun atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Only problem is parking unless you opt to pay $5 or $3 for senior's. If you park on Topanga be prepared to walk up a steep hill to the the market.

Yelp
Well curated of the essentials + inspired items. Notables include re-grocery for refill pantry items + kokomoomilks. Our new Friday morning ritual. It's a vibe. Great community gathering.

Yelp
Love this market! You cannot beat the location of this spot - nestled in the mountains of Topanga. The booths are all on point / love the lavender lattes, the coconut milk, tamales and shrimp dumplings, the bread, yogurt, and the flower arrangements. All are amazing and I leave with a full basket each time.

Yelp
So grateful to have this amazing farmer's market to look forward to every week. My husband and I have made a date day out of it! Some our our favorite Vendors of all time here. Highlights include Topanga Mother for the best bread I've ever had and Mahealani Farms for the prettiest and tastiest mushrooms. Not to mention the gorgeous setting. 10/10 recommend

Yelp
This market is amazing. Probably the best farmers market in and surrounding LA with beautiful canyon views in Topanga. The vendors are carefully curated and they have sustainability in mind. Food is delicious. The artisan section is composed of artists, vintage and small brands. The organization is +++

Yelp
As a lifelong topanga local, and someone who loves farmers markets but not enough to leave the canyon, I am soooo excited we have this market in our canyon. It is so beautifully run and put together, in the most beautiful setting at our community center with gorgeous canyon views. Al the vendors are amazing and so friendly. It's also the new social gathering every Friday and a great place to people watch. Fun to volunteer as well. Everyone is so great there. Obsessed with the yogurt... and the artisan vendors as well. They rotate weekly so there are always new items to peruse.

Love love love this farmers market! Such a special one. Beautiful location, nestled in the mountains. Even has a playground and ball field for kids to play at. Clean restrooms. Great vendors. Delicious produce and prepared foods. Joyful people. Everyone is so kind. You can tell so much heart has been put into making this market come to life. Thank you!

Yelp
The most charming Farmers Market! The comeback of the Topanga Farmers Market has made getting fresh local food every week so easy! You can tell every vendor was handpicked and to offer something for everyone. They have the most delicious breads, coconut milk, yoghurt stand, Indian food and so much more! The most glorious flowers. The parking is easy and I will be going every week!

Yelp
Literally my favorite farmers market of all time. And I am not just saying that because of the STUNNING setting sitting surrounded by mountains on a hill, but its because of the vibe, the vendors (best flowers), the incredible prepared food and there is an entire rotating artisan section with killer vintage, ceramics, flowers, candles, etc. I now plan my week around Friday mornings trying make sure no meetings are scheduled between 9 and 1 pm!

Yelp
An absolute gem! Not only has the revival of the Topanga Farmers Market brought our favorite produce vendors from the Santa Monica Wednesday Market much closer to home but its gone beyond that to include stellar florals, incredible prepared foods and a beautifully curated section of rotating weekly artisans from vintage & housewares to crystals and pottery and more! The size is perfect at 40+ vendors - it's easy to get in & out if you are crunched for time or stay to hang & enjoy the community that's blossoming each week. There isn't a more beautiful place to spend Friday mornings, we love to make it a date & meet friends there while we peruse the offerings, knowing we're supporting local farmers and vendors in the process. Hot cinnamon rolls & pickles are not to be missed! It's our new favorite weekly ritual!
