This is my favorite Farmers Market for many reasons. One obvious reason is the high quality of the local organic vegetables, fruit, dairy, and meats! Second is the prepared food that’s ready to eat or take home. It’s a wonderful selection of gourmet, gluten-free, food allergy friendly options, and all types of high-end artisan products—baked goods, vegan options, paleo, snd even the famous grass-fed brisket sandwich.
Beyond that, it’s such a beautiful setting with happy people. I always eat lunch there, and I always feel rejuvenated by connecting with the local community in this environment. At times it feels like time stands still, surrounded by majestic mountains. Honestly, I could write pages and pages praising this market.
There is artwork,, skincare products, and health and wellness items. The list goes on and on. There are activities for toddlers at the music circle at 1030 AM, and even a workout class from 9 to 10 AM on the field. In a world of hustle and bustle, where community connection is so often diminished by deadlines and pressures, you can truly feel the beautiful essence of a tight-knit, traditional small-town community—right here, only minutes from Los Angeles.
