Topgolf Houston - Katy

Food quality is mediocre. Golf accommodation is excellent (I am no golf expert - so take my comment with a grain of salt). Restroom is clean. Service could use some improvement (need to be more prompt). Atmosphere is excellent for group outing, e.g. birthday.

Today was the first time I have been to top golf. I took my nephews and also it was their first time. Our server Ryan was very wonderful. We are planning to go back soon.

So much fun. Good prices, great ambiance. Lots of bays available. Food was really good, specially the asian boneless wings. Service was top notch

We had a fantastic time at this Topgolf location! The food and drinks were excellent, making the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the great atmosphere. Despite being a popular spot, the wait time was surprisingly reasonable. Overall, it’s a great place for a fun outing with friends or family.

Thank you all staff for making my son birthday special and more special for their attention and being so helpful in every aspect! Big shout out to Danielle I did have a wonderful communication working with her to insure everything when how i planned! Thank you thank you !!

Do not make a reservation! Trying to plan ahead for my son and his friends and get 20 min off play time for being 15 past reservation time. We could have just joined the wait list and been fine with no penalty. They say there is a grace period but only for them. You are still getting charged from your reservation time. That is ridiculous since it takes time for them to take you to the bay and check you in. We used to have my son’s birthday parties here for years and it was great. Now if you try to plan ahead it is stressful and they penalize you. But if they are running behind schedule you just have to wait and no penalty for them. This will be our last visit unfortunately. I also called twice to try to communicate that we were running a “few” minutes late. Horrible reservation system. You are better just walking in and waiting. At least you don’t get deducted time at $62 per hour.

My family and I came to this location 6/14/2025 and my and one other vehicle was broken into. The drive around security guard found my belongings on the ground outside my car after the vandalism took place. No one informed me but waited for me to walk up to my car after the fact. The store manager wasn’t very helpful other than saying the cameras don’t work well and all they could see were people walking around with flashlights. I was told to have a great rest of my evening (seriously) and never offered any water or a broom to sweep up my car so glass does t go flying around when I leave.

Visited for a works event, great fun! There is a wide variety of golf games to suit any player. Everything from smashing it as far as you can or chipping it less that 50 yards. We have a buffet dinner provided at the back of the bays we hired. The food was OK but nit great. There could do with replacing the balls more often, many had been hit so often the dimples were worn away.

Met up with friends here on Saturday and we had a blast. Place is clean, spacious with elevators and multiple floors. I was told there is a pool table downstairs, but never went to check for myself. We reserved our Bay for 6:30 pm. Check in was easy and we were immediately greeted by our waitress. She explained how everything worked and took our drink orders. She was extremely attentive and came around often to see if we needed anything. Bay rental: Bays are rented by the hr and accompany 4-6ppl comfortably. We ordered food... Flatbread: Chicken Ranch, Hot honey pepperoni Wings: Buffalo, BBQ & Lemon Pepper Dip: Buffalo chicken w/tortilla chips Best bite would have to be the Chicken Ranch flatbread w/ Cauliflower crust. I couldn't tell the difference in the crust, so I'm wondering how much cauliflower is actually in it and if the difference in calories matters. Hot honey was very hot, so if you like spicy, try it. Wings were average, nothing to write home about. Buffalo chicken dip was also average and their chips look cheap, but tasted okay. All in all, we had a blast and will definitely add them to the rotation going forward. Enter freely, they've been approved.

The old bait and switch. Website states half on early morning game play and list the locations that are not available for such discounts (this location not listed for specific pricing). Just terrible place anymore.

One of our favorite day date spots! Love all the games you can choose to play to make it even more competitive :) The food and drinks are always amazing. The White Claw bucket and steak nachos are always our go-to choices. We also tried the Golfbag cocktail. It was a little too sweet for me but my girlfriend loved it (plus you get to keep the cup)! Food and drinks came out fast and they even brought us left-handed clubs to play with too. Can't wait for another day date!

I haven't been to Top Golf is YEARS. I forgot how fun it was. We came here around noon on a Thursday and luckily they had a deal going on (week days 1/2 off) so we decided to play for 1 hour $20.00. In my opinion, 1 hour is a lot for 2 people. After 30 minutes we got bored and regretted not choosing to play for 30 minutes instead. I'm taking a star off because of the location of the dock they booked us for. There were so many docks open but the employee decided to put us at the far right where it was impossible for to actually hit a target. Other than that, this a cool place to hang out at.

Really nice staff, but the inside area for eating was pretty filthy. None of the tables had been cleaned off. There were crumbs everywhere and there were even puddles of water and some of the various booths. We went there around dinner time at 7 PM and our food was OK But not worth what we paid for it.

A smidge on the pricier side for golfing. Adding an additional name also charges another $5? Very kind service, but the golfing in itself was a bit of a letdown. The tee height is a bit too low, the clubs were a little worn and torn, and touch screen was a bit tough to respond to. Food: the chicken nachos were great though! Cheers!

This place was clean, fun and amazing. Great food and a great time. We purchased 2 hours and my gosh time went soooo slow, lol my arms started to hurt. But the good thing is it was well worth it! It my first time visiting this location, will be back again. Friendly staff, great food, great desert. The wings were sooo good!

We did the two bay party pack and while expensive, it came with a $200 food requirement/stipend that when calculated, ended up being cheaper pp than if we opted another event and food after! This topgolf is very beautiful in design with multiple levels and great food and service! We tried almost everything on the menu and my personal favorites were the buffalo chicken with fries and their tater tots. The coughing itself was very fun and two hours seem to fly by. Service was also great. We had brought a birthday cake and didn't bring a lighter and so one of the servers hunted down a lighter for us. My only complaint was waiting for food. It did take a long time. We placed an order for food 30 minutes into our playtime and didn't receive it until almost an hour later and so by then we only had a little over 30 minutes left of play time to enjoy our food.

The ambiance was great, only issue was the service. I asked the server if they offer any birthday treats as I was celebrating a birthday with my party and they said they would bring the treats right over. Well that never happened. We were waiting and they never arrived. Once we closed the tab the server was no where to be found. Overall I would like to give this establishment another try

We have been coming here at top golf for over 3 yrs now! We always have so much fun. The service use to be great and we always had managers check in if everything was good! Good stuff- We came here on Friday around 5p and we were sat right on the top floor. The check in was not crowded nor busy! Upstairs literally was just 3-4 parties were seated. Me and my sister we ended up spending over $200 for 2 hrs pretty expensive! We ordered drinks and food. The service was fast and the food was warm and good! Bad stuff - Need to have hand wipes and sanitizer on every table! It was so disgusting and annoying for me to keep running to the bathroom to wash my hands in between the game. If I knew they didn't have hand wipes I wouldn't have ordered the food or the drinks! I asked for hand wipes and the guy never came back and I walked to the bar and they said they don't have any! The other thing was we were sat right in-front of the sun and it was hot and we were sweating already. Since so many place was empty so we asked to be moved and they said they were full with reservations. I mean half of the place upstairs was still empty when we left after 2 hrs! We somehow felt so rushed this time by the server she kept coming and asking if we were done to which I said we still had 15 mins left. We felt like we were on a ticking bomb.

Went with a group of friends, and I had a good time as always. We initially sat at the bar waiting on our bay. We ordered so much food. Pizza, wings, burger, nacho. All the food was good. I had the burger, and it was juicy cooked to perfection and seasoned well. It was pretty hot out, but the fans were a nice touch and much appreciated.

The company hosted it meeting there. The lunch was fantastic.. for meeting. Space was nice as well with all of the technology working. The young gentleman that was helping us was quick and helpful..

I visited Topgolf for the first time ever a few weeks ago for my mom's 60th birthday. We had some friends come out to visit and had a mini reunion and thought going to Topgolf would be fun. We have something very similar back at home in NC and we're fairly familiar with the concept. We were able to get a bay immediately but no one had told us about the "membership" until it was time to put our names into the system. Now, times are tough financially so this seemed like such a scam to not mention this at the front desk. It costs $5 each for a lifetime membership at Topgolf JUST TO PUT YOUR NAME ON THE SCREEN and play games! That's on top of already paying for the bay by the hour. The company we visit back at home does not charge a "membership" fee in order to play with other people. That's like going to the bowling alley and paying to put your name on the screen. It's so ridiculous. So that's why I gave it 3 stars because the front desk needs to explain this up front to people who have never been before. The real kicker? I was forced to pay $5 for my membership in order to be able to start playing. Unfortunately, no one played under their own names so we didn't get to play together, we were just hitting balls for an hour. If there was no membership fee, we would have easily paid for 2 hours instead of 1. After that, I had no desire to put in more money at this place, so I didn't order any drinks or food. The whole hidden fee ended up losing them money in the long run (at least, with our large group). Now, if the membership fee doesn't bother you, then you'll be totally fine. Topgolf is nice, don't get me wrong. Their systems are updated and the ball tracker was consistent and never glitched out, the bay was nice, the grounds and facility are well-kept, and we did end up having fun despite the hidden fees. Our waitress was super nice and helpful, however, my friend asked for left handed golf clubs and it took a good 10-15 minutes for them to get them after he asked three times (asked multiple people). Our visit left a poor taste in my mouth and I have zero desire to ever visit a Topgolf again.

A few colleagues and I decided to meet at TopGolf for our "get to know you" event and setup a two lane package in advance. TopGolf was very easy to work with and made it a simple experience. Upon arrival, they were very detailed in explaining things and about getting our preferences. The place itself is well maintained and fun overall. The food and service were also fantastic as they were quick to grab whatever we needed. We will definitely be back!

First time visiting and will definitely return! We chose Top Golf for our holiday gathering for our team and we did not regret it. Queso was sooo good. So were the drinks. We really enjoyed playing & will book again. Only thing is it was super hot. If they had fans, they weren't on.

This was so much fun! Expensive, but fun!!! The angry birds game is a good warm-up (short distance), but the block party was the best cuz you get to drive it out there a ways. The food was all good! I recommend the Nachos!!! We got beef. And the boneless buffalo wings were good. Great fries!!! The flatbread was ok - had a decent amount of small pepperoni but the sauce was kinda sweet and odd. But it was decent. The skinny marg is awful - like water. The reg marg was not a hit. The Paloma was good and the sunset marg was my favorite. They also made a good Ranch Water at the bar (Kevin is a great bartender btw!) We booked a bay online for 2 hours, it was so easy to check in! Go early! We went at 5:30 and it was nice, it gets quite packed later on and parking fills up. At night it is cool tho cuz the course lights up but i actually enjoyed it a lot during the early evening. We had 6 in our party and I would say thats prob the most you wanna have. It's can take awhile to get through some of the games with too many people and table space was perfect with 6. We ended up adding on another hour we were having so much fun. Our waitress/host was fantastic! Its easier to call her from the monitor if you need to order, but she also came by plenty. They kept our table cleaned off of used cups/plates very well. Theres a tv in each bay you pick ur sport if u wanna keep up with the Astros or bull riding.

Been to a few different top golf for corporate events and wanted to go on a fun date. They try to make booking easy with a slick app, but it actually makes things a lot harder I booked a bay on Saturday at 3:30PM. Looked to see if there are different times available (e.g. 3PM), but the app won't let you saying you already have time booked. Great, let me cancel my time to look, and see, worse comes to worse I can rebook it. Nope, 5 seconds later and the original time I booked can't be booked again and now the timeslots are even worse (this was at 4AM in the morning so no one else is booking). Call top golf - all reservations booked through app. We can't help you and we don't care about customer service... everything routed to a central call center. Long story short - typical corporate cost cutting measures, terrible app design, and low level of service.

I enjoyed this experience a lot! There were seven of us so me and one of my friends split one of the turns since you can only have six players. Between six people it turns out to only be around $5 per person for an hour which is fantastic! I thought it would be way more expensive. It also didn't take very long at all for a bay to open up. We waited maybe ten minutes before one was ready. Would come again!

Family fun at Top Golf is always great especially on birthdays! Came to our favorite one in the Houston area for my husband's birthday! Injectable Donuts & Golfbag Drinks!

Love this place! A good place for birthday party or gathering event! :) I prefer second or third floor! I got to do it on first floor and it was a bit less exciting. The worker seemed to be a bit stressed but she did her best for us! They gave us a nice gift for birthday friend and that was very thoughtful of them! We had a good time! :)

Came here for the first time yesterday, and I had a great time. Definitely pack your wallet. The service was superb, food and drink were delicious as well. They could of had better music in my opinion but it is a family friendly place. This place a good for a date, family time or a new experience.

As expected from top golf, decent food, decent drinks. Great place to watch the game and hit some balls. I come here often , service is better than most top golfs so I appreciate that a lot. The people who come here are often well put together and friendly so if you go alone you can make friends

Came here for a family outing last Friday around 7 pm. We go up to the counter to pay and asked if we could at least be on the 2nd or 3rd level but apparently there are unwritten rules stating "only reservations can have the second or third floor". It was kind of laughable and a silly "rule" as I've been to top golf in the past including other locations and NEVER heard of this. We didn't mind waiting for a bay, but they didn't even give us the option and just said that we would have to reserve online do so. Why would we have to go through that if we were already there? When I checked online the soonest we could reserve for at that point was 2 hours later. Food/drinks: we ordered the nachos and the fried Mac and cheese. It took over 45 minutes for the food to come out, although it was busy, that is just too long. After waiting almost an hour for appetizers that could have taken 10 minutes to make, everything was cold!! We sent the nachos back and after waiting for another 30 minutes we told them to forget it. It was just nachos, it didn't even have any meat so what was taking so long? The customer service really lacked here because if something was sent back it should've been made on the fly. This ruined the experience and we did not order anything else because of this. Overall experience: 3/5 - We had a great time despite the poor service. The prices are pretty steep so you would think the service and management should reflect what customers are paying.

Half price Tuesdays! Rain or shine the show will go on! The joke is it was raining the day we came to Topgolf. Even though it was a little on the chilly side they have heaters lined up for comfort. So if you are a newbie like myself, you can hit all the golf balls to your heart desires or when your arm starts to hurt. You can purchase based on time frame and you are provided unlimited balls within that time frame. They provide golf clubs both men and women. QR codes provided for food and beverage services. Nachos were more a light snack. I was expecting more of basket of chips compared to the 6 chips we got but it was tasty. Reservations are available online on their website. Each bay accommodates up to 6 players. There is a $5 registration fee for all new members. Parking is plentiful. They have a gift shop. Fun place to try golfing for the first time!

We hadn't been to Topgolf in awhile and I forgot how much fun it is. Came on a Saturday night after making reservations for around 9:00pm. A couple of us played and also got tons of food. Chips, Macaroni bites, fries and a bunch of other foods. We also got the donut holes which WE LOVE. Service was great and we'd definitely go back!

Came for a team building work event. Food was okay. Sliders. Chicken. Charcuterie. Chocolate chip cookies. Open bar. Although there was no instruction for what to do, there was something so rewarding about hitting balls after a long day at work. Our bay was a group of five women, none of us golfers, but it was still fun and quite an experience in team building trying to figure out how to play and score. Bonus: as it rained right before our event, there was a beautiful rainbow.

This place is awesome! We went on a Tuesday to take advantage of the half price Tuesdays promo. We went around 11am and it was around $15 per person I believe. It was a good experience and our server was accommodating. We had fun, but you might want to bring an extra shirt coz it's hot outside and you'll definitely break a sweat!

I had a blast at this location. I went with some work buddies, and it's a great time to bond and play golf. There are a wide variety of drinks to choose from, and the food menu, while not as substantive, has enough diversity that you'll find something you like.

I went here January 31st. I really liked the food I didn't like that they forgot my cheese but they took full responsibility and made me another burger no problem so I appreciate that. I don't remember the name of the pizza it was okay. The staff was pretty friendly and they do check on you to make sure you are doing okay. I enjoyed golfing it was my first time at top golf it can be intimidating when there is a bunch of people from other groups watching you but overall I had fun. Some pros to top gulf The booths had heat fans above you which was awesome because it was a little chilly. The inside was very clean including the restrooms.

So I'm a big fan of Topgolf and tend to try to visit one in every city I go to so Houston wasn't different. We played on the first floor which isn't my favorite floor him but it worked. We got a good 3 games in for our hour and had tons of fun. We were assigned a server but she was pretty much MIA the whole time we were there. Overall a good time at Topgolf

Places that overcharge or overlook staff that overcharge really need to review their best practices. Prices online were not honored in store. I had a good time in my bay. I'd go back if only for a receipt and my change, otherwise not worth the drive or the complaint.

Perfect first experience. We didn't plan ahead for a bay reservation but the 1 hour wait was perfectly timed to eat dinner. The playlist was fire and the food was excellent. The meatalian flatbread was perfectly meat balanced to bread cheese ratio and the Heatwhich was NO JOKE! Queso was and drinks were great as well. This was our first time but the games were a lot of fun and will require some practice but it was a lot of fun and we will definitely be back soon.

Had steak nachos and fries, got a free Ice cream for my birthday! Joey the boss man and Tuan was attentive. Had a good time. Our fries was cold but Joey got us a new hot one. No doubt it was fun. Food was pretty fire too. Thanks Joey!

Great place for food, drinks, and play. Parking is plentiful. The service is honestly a hit or miss. I've been on days where it takes forever to get our food or drink orders then some days it's pretty quick. The food is ok. I did notice that their pretzel bites looks and taste exactly like the ones at Costco. The drinks are not very strong unless you get a martini. I like that they have a bar upstairs with connect four games so you can play and drink while you wait for a bay. My biggest complaint is that you can't reserve a specific bay. We got one on the first level in the corner and it was so difficult to play.

Sara and Joel are fantastic. Always going above and beyond. I've had a work party catered and visited with friends and they always make everyone feel so welcomed and taken care of. We love golf, but we really come back for their service. Thank you! We love you and hope corporate recognizes how amazing y'all are! You deserve the best

Topgolf was a really fun experience for my family and I! My mom went with coworkers before and decided she enjoyed it enough to want to take us, too! We were all pretty much beginners, and we decided to play the angry birds game. It was really fun for my family and I to compete! You get unlimited balls within a certain time frame that you pay for. Note: there is a one-time new member fee of $5 on top of this For food, we got Asian sesame wings, injectable donut holes (not pictured), guac & chips, queso blanco & chips, tres tacos (both chicken & steak), meatalian flatbread. The Asian sesame wings were not bad, but not super memorable. Same goes for the guac & chips but there really isn't anything too fancy to do with this anyways. The injectable donut holes were pretty interesting, super sweet of course, but can get pretty messy with kids! I do remember the queso blanco being pretty good, though! It was nice and warm, especially good on a chillier day. The tacos were pretty good, too, and the meatalian flatbread was also pretty good. Overall, the food was pretty good, working as some solid snacks to eat while golfing! The workers were all really nice and attentive! We only had a slight issue regarding gift cards and a bit of miscommunication there, but regardless, service was still great!

Ordered all the apps all good, not great but good. Sean our server and Alex the manager were very attentive and friendly the full 2 hours. Although Texas is hell RN the fans made it very bearable in the evening. Drinks were good as well! Setting up the party was where the staff was the friendliest and very responsive.

It's such a great place to relax and enjoy yourself, had such a great time, the food was delicious and the drinks were kicking, the clubs were a perk, didn't need to use mine.

My wife and I met some good friends in Katy for an evening of Topgolf, dinner, and drinks. I'd been to this Topgolf a couple of other times in the past, but not since COVID, when they had barriers set up between bays. Thankfully, those were gone. The experience playing Topgolf was a lot of fun. The food was good - only a minor mishap in the kitchen regarding avocado - the lack thereof - on a hamburger, but once our waitress told the manager, he made sure we weren't charged for it. It was apparently amateur hour behind the bar, though. Several dry Martinis that had been ordered with well gin were made instead with Hendrick's - a top shelf gin - with the associated charge for it. Also at one point what was supposed to be a dry Martini was sent out as a very dirty Martini, while another was entirely missing the olive. The last one was erroneously made as a vodka Martini. Through all of this chaos our waitress, Savannah, was very patient and helpful and made sure that the manager understood our problems and everything was made right in the end. I'll definitely be going back!

Top Golf is always a good time. You don't have to be a professional or even that good to enjoy your time. just come out and swing away. We came out as a big group. The staff was very accommodating and helped us get started and were readily available when we had some minor issues. Overall it was a fun time. The facility was very clean and the staff did a great job.

it was amazing the fries were so buss and good and perfectly cooked! the woman helping my family and i was the sweetest she complemented me cause i got 117 mph, they ended moving us up cause we wanted to stay longer and it was so good. it is so nice seeing here it has perfect temperature, the girl mikayla was so nice peace give her a raise she is amazing.

We had such a great time at this Topgolf! The games were fun, and the service was great. We were here for my partner's birthday, and we had so much fun. Our server was very kind, and the front desk person who checked us in was so friendly. My only complaint is that the portions were small. The food itself was good, but it was a little frustrating how little food you got for the price.

Great experience. Love our time here as family. Great food, great ambience, great service , great entertainment. No experience required. Great for families with kids. They have clubs for kids, so they are accommodated as well. Great entertainment spot. Only thing is you should have a reservation in place a few days in advance for the weekend esp. otherwise the wait could be 1.5-2 hours long. Staff is very nice and courteous. The manager was seen walking around to most of the tables to explain the deals that they run during the week. Which was nice.

Great place to bring the family, service is nice. I only put 3 stars because as a foodie not much selection and ahhh it's not that great. Little pricey but we had a great time! Wait time is tooooooo long so plan ahead

Got a bay, staff/server were great. Server was getting off and wanted to close out my tab so she could get her tip (understandable). After the server change I was completely ignored by the staff(because I closed out the majority of the bill and the new server assumed they weren't going to get a significant amount in a tip). I had to leave my bay, walk to the bar and get drinks multiple times. There was a server in an empty bay next to me hitting balls for about a 1/2 hour. He finally came over, said he was my server and asked if I needed anything. I explained to him that I needed nothing from him since I had been getting my own drinks for the past 1/2 hour. I'm not above getting my own drinks, but it eats time from my play. I've had many great experiences here, this was a complete disgrace. I guess the takeaway is that you should not close out your tab to help out the previous server, if you do you can forget about any further service.

This place is a lot of fun. The food quality is great when it's hot, but when it takes a while to get, it feels like they let it sit at the counter and then take it to the patrons when they have time. Most of our pizza flatbreads were all old and the cheese was hard. The taste was good however. The Mac and Cheese bites were the kids' favorite! Guacamole, Queso and hummus were very good too. A great outing with the family for sure. $200 for 1.5hours if golf, some cocktails and good food!

Came on a Saturday evening without a reservation for four and we were immediately placed in a bay. This was my very first time and I had a blast! Make sure to bring good company and have fun! We chose angry birds and it was a good choice! Clubs are provided and food/drink is yummy! Take advantage of the Teacher discounts!

Experienced a very awkward and rude encounter with the staff. My friends and I booked a bay for two hours of fun, food and drinks. At the conclusion of our two hours we received our check and within second the manager came over and told the bay was booked by new customer and we had to leave. We explained that we were leaving but had just received her check. Her response, "That's fine but you'll need to exit the bay for new customers and you can pay your check at a table in the bar." Despite many open bays for new customers we were shocked by how we were no longer welcome there to simply pay our bill.
