I came here with two other people and we were seated by the fire pit, which was great. Reservations are required on OpenTable and the menu is accessed via a barcode scan. I ordered the bright and beautiful to drink: Cutwater 3 Sheets Rum, Giffard Apricot, lime juice, and simple syrup. I personally wasn't crazy about the drink, but it wasn't bad overall.
I ordered the charcuterie board to share and it was pretty standard. A few pieces of crackers, bread, some almonds, mustard spread, quince paste, two cheeses, and two types of meats. The menu stated there were walnuts, but there were none. I'm assuming the walnuts were replaced by almonds. Who doesn't like a charcuterie board though?
I ordered the Pan Seared Wild Alaskan Salmon that came with summer corn succotash, pancetta, watercress, and heart of palm salad. I was blown away by this salmon. It was perfectly cooked with the most amazing crispy skin. I want to eat this salmon every day of the week. Everything else on the plate gave variety in texture and flavor. Delicious! Plus, it was beautifully presented on the plate. One of my friends asked if it was wild caught (as stated in the title) and our waitress said that it was farmed. I'm not sure which to believe.
After raving like a mad woman about the salmon, two of us decided to order the butterfinger mud pie. The pie was a good sized piece, but for some reason I wasn't expecting it to be all in one. I thought the ice cream was on the side and I tasted a strong coffee flavor throughout. Overall, though, it was still a good piece of dessert. Perfect for sharing.
Our waitress was nice and the jams playing were on point for me. We had to head back downstairs to the second floor to find the bathroom. It was a spacious and clean one, which is always a huge plus. I'd definitely come back here again.
