Love this place - just a field of hops, tables, chairs, and taps of delicious beers, ciders, and wine. Four food trucks on this day serving Indian, American, Mexican and the international favorite, ice cream. You are surrounded by 40 feet high rows of hops. Tables are spread out so you aren’t bumping up next to anyone. Totally kid and dog friendly if your dogs and kids are friendly. The draft selection is excellent and these Crosby hops are in all the beer they serve, you can see how many breweries use these hops from Top Wire. Highly recommend visit if you want outdoors.

Great cold beers. Super friendly staff. It’s a huge lot with shade and tables and chairs and corn hole and grass to lay out on. Water and clean bathrooms. They have food trucks, the I dian truck had tons of veggie options, veggie tacos were sub par(rice and beans), falafel wrap was stellar. Fries are good. The ice cream looked so good but we didn’t get to try it.

Google
Very cool setting to grab a drink and spend a few hours outside! There was a selection of about 10 beers on top, plus lots of snacks and N/A drink options. A few food carts to choose from, though I personally found the food to be a bit underwhelming. I liked the beer and overall experience enough though to highly recommend!

One of the most unique beer experiences in Oregon! TopWire Hop Project is a hidden gem tucked right into the middle of Crosby Hop Farm in Woodburn. The setting is unreal — you’re literally sipping craft beer in an open-air beer garden surrounded by rows of hops. It’s peaceful, scenic, and feels totally immersed in the land where the beer begins. The rotating tap list is always top-tier, with brews from Oregon’s best like pFriem, Breakside, and other regional favorites. The vibe is relaxed with plenty of shaded tables, fresh air, and space to kick back with a pint. And the best part? It’s dog-friendly! Our pup loved lounging in the grass and soaking up the good energy. Crosby Hop Farm is a fifth-generation, family-run operation dating back to 1900 — and you can feel the history and heart behind everything they do. Whether you’re a craft beer lover or just looking for a unique spot to spend the afternoon, TopWire is absolutely worth the stop.

Google
This place is so unique and beautiful! Came here after a hike and was very impressed. There's a few food trucks (I got some chicken Tikka) and of course beer. The IPA was very fresh! I will absolutely be back.

Yelp
Top Wire is awesome. It's a taproom in the middle of a hop field!!! The beers they have on tap are from breweries that use their hops. There are usually 8-10 taps going. Occasionally they'll have a guest brewery take over for the day. Russian River was the guest taps last Saturday. They also have food trucks on site. Personally I think the food is just ok. You're also allowed to bring in your own food. The seating is abundant with some of the tables under heaters for the cold days. We've been back 2x already. I would definitely recommend Top Wire.

Yelp
I'm giving 4 stars because this place is super cool but the food carts could use some revamping. My husband went to the "Real Mexican Food" cart and they sell a quesadilla for $14. He asked if they could make a kids quesadilla for our toddler and they said yes. Please see the photo for what they charged us $10 for!!! Are you serious? Such a joke. There is no meat and it wasn't even good. I'll never order from that food carts again.

Yelp
isolated, huge outdoor hangout. Friendly staff. Didn't get food but there was a food cart.

Yelp
Went for the first time last night with a few friends and we had a blast. The vibe it was so chill and the staff is friendly, funny and welcoming. There was a few kids and I mean why were they even there, don't kids have bedtimes? lol no but as a mom I guess it's cool there's a place parents can go and have a sip while their kids play? Keyword I guess haha.. ok so they have IPAs and cider. I had a couple of ciders (wish they had more of a selection for ciders) and also had something called jungle juice from a can I forgot the name of the brewers but it's so good... try it, thank me later. I totally would totally go back. Maybe the get more fire pits since there's only one now and the weather is getting colder. Also there was a few food trucks they definitely need more. I ordered from the Indian food truck and they took forever they were backed up and kind of rude. The food was ok but I wouldn't order again I think. Anywho that's nothing to do with top wire, so go check them out.

Yelp
Great place in the Hop fields!! Great beer selection! Casual fun hang out! Added additional food trucks as well! Such a great place to hang and relax with some awesome beverages!

Yelp
Great spot, good beer, loved having yoga class there!!! Smells fantastic on hop-harvesting days!!!

Kristin H.

Yelp
Love this place. Nice people work there. They rotate the beers, but have some regular stuff in the cooler (ciders). It is so relaxing and casual. The BEST place to meet up with friends or family..and it's in a hop field..can't get more Portland-beer-culture than that

Yelp
Great beer! Amazing tacos from "Real Mexican Food", make sure to get the dessert. IF it hasn't already sold out. Very personable people.

Yelp
Great place. Very relaxing!!! Nice breeze even on very warm day. So unique. Cold delicious beer and great and speedy food trucks.

Yelp
Came here with family and friends very cool place for sure. And lots of good beer. The staff could be a little nicer. They could bring in more than one food truck. When we came it was the hotdog people which were nice but way over priced for what it was. They really need to add more restrooms the line was more full the where you order beer. So with all that said I would gladly come back here. These are just something that I noticed. The place is so pretty and chill, they had some band start playing about the time we were heading out. The awesomeness out weights the negative.

Yelp
What a beautiful brewery! This place is so cute and cozy in its own way. Not only to they brew their own beer but they have created a place for people to come and enjoy it. This place is not just for adults. It's kid and pet friendly which is also a bonus in my books! I love local businesses supporting other local businesses. They allow other businesses to come and sell different kinds of foods. It alternates every so often. They also have a great beer selection that fits everyones needs who are beer lovers. All the tables were very spread which is very much appreciated too! Can't wait to come back again!

Yelp
Wonderful setting, nice people, great beer!!! A little hard to find the first time but well worth it. Will definitely go again.

Yelp
I found hop heaven!! What a cool place to visit and hang out with a beer and a buddy. Or your dog and your kids. We visited during the hop harvest and not only got fresh hop beers but also got to watch the harvest in progress.

Yelp
Cool spot to chill out and have some tasty beers. I imagine the hop fields would have been more impressive earlier in the season but seeing it all definitely made me grateful for all the hard work that goes into getting beer from farm to the table. I liked that their tap list has a nice curated set of beers highlighting their hops. I appreciate the broad spread of seating, good service, and clean bathrooms. Hope to come back next year!

Yelp
Such a great place!! There are plenty of tables with umbrellas and there were people with kids and dogs. Just a comfortable, laid back vibe. You can bring your own food or get something from a food truck. Pleasant staff and I can't wait to go back when the hops are more grown. It will be beautiful and give off a secluded feel. Also, I would love to come back at night with what looks like string lights all over!!

Yelp
Been back multiple times since they opened after winter. So amazing. The guys working are wonderful. Just wonderful. I always look forward to going back again.

Karen V.

Yelp
Why this place has only 8 reviews is beyond me unless people are trying to keep it a secret! Beer in the hops, shaded by umbrellas and overhead shade cloth. Good selection of tap. OMG get the tacos with tinga de pollo if that's offered on the food cart. Only advice is it's a quarter mile or so drive on gravel road so bring your preferred vehicle for that.

Yelp
This is a very cool place to hang out in the mostly agricultural Willamette Valley between Salem and the Portland metro area. They have a great set of beers on tap. It's a *beautiful,* relaxed setting very comfortable for families, kids, and dogs. There is snack food available from the main bar, and also often a food cart or truck (or bus) on site. N.B. The pizza bus ran out of pizza by 5 PM on the Sunday I was there.

Yelp
This is a cool place to enjoy a beer. Didn't try the food but it looked and smelled good. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great spot! Loved the Buoy Czech Pilsner. Nice staff. The charcuterie plate was great, pre-made from Columbus . Food truck was closed when we came but look forward to trying to next time. Distanced tables, some shade, lots of space.

Yelp
Great outdoor place to just chill! Grab your drink, sit at a table (spaced apart due to covid), and enjoy the scent of hops!

Yelp
What an experience, a tap house without the walls! Great people (well it depends on who you bring with you) great outdoors, surrounded by hop poles (and growing hops during growing season)

Yelp
A unique venue to celebrate beer and friends. It's a little out of the way in Woodburn, but well worth the trip. It situated right in the Crosby Hop Farms and every brew offered there contains their hops. Multiple breweries, cideries are represented-there are only 12 or so taps, so not too overwhelming. The GPS google maps took us right there and Topwire has very clear signage to find your way to the drinking area. Lots of parking on gravel lot right next to the biergarden. We arrived around 2:40pm on a Friday, not packed, but a decent amount of folks scattered about with their pets, friends, a couple small children about. Right at entry is the counter to order and the servers can give you an idea on what to order or offer a sample. I enjoyed one IPA from Grains of Wrath and later an Extra Pale Ale from Ruse. The grounds are a lush grass and the hops were abundant and maze like. You may order from the only food vendor that will deliver direct to TopWire or a cart later appears around 5pm. The Mexican food cart, Luisa's was exceptional - they offer a small fare, but I was very satisfied with my pork tacos. Prices are from $3.50 - 8.50. Perfect afternoon with weather, the grounds and atmosphere itself, and friendly folks. Nice music overhead. Clean bathrooms with full plumbing available as well. Think it's seasonal so closes around October. Also, fun gear to purchase and some canned options as well as an Non-Alcoholic brew on draft. Beers are $7.

Yelp
Great spot! Plenty of space and an awesome selection of brew. Will be back when the hops are in bloom

Gayla S.

Yelp
Just a comment, we drove down to check you out today. Yelp, Facebook, and Google all said open. It is Friday... 4pm. Sadly, you r closed! Tried to call... even stated open Friday. Next time we will call b4 we drive all the way down.

Janell B.

Yelp
Fun place! We have enjoyed my visits. It's also nice having a nice place that super close to Woodburn.

Lauren B.

Yelp
Felt lucky to find this gem! Great beer, paired with the Latin food from an awesome food truck parked on site. The kids had plenty of room to run and play while we sat back and enjoyed every sip and bite!

Wendy M.

Yelp
We really like the outside seating, the atmosphere & the area. What a great place. We just wish you would have had more dark beer offerings. There were none when we were there. Great place!
