"A contemporary restaurant spread across two floors, each of which has its own sushi bar (the one upstairs is a private space). Here, chef José Osuna showcases his contemporary take on Japanese cuisine on an à la carte and a Omakase menu while using Spanish ingredients as the basis for his cooking. An interesting decorative feature is the use of a tiger motif (“tora” in Japanese) on the crockery and uniforms." - Michelin Inspector
We have had such an amazing omasake style dinner at Tora. Every plate was well prepared and delicious, I was looking for authentic experience and amazing quality of food and flavours and I got it. Thank you, chef, for cooking for us, it was awesome. P.S. I am a picky eater and my boyfriend is even worse, but he gave all plates 10/10 which literally means you should give it a try!

I have no words to express how good Tora is.
Every single plate we had it was simply spectacular. The chef took time to explain us what the dish what and how it will "taste".
We decided to have the menu, which has different nigiris and entrances. The dessert, a mochi, was included and it was delicious too.
Everything about this place was perfect. The service was incredible, the ambiance, EVERYTHING!
Just two photos out of the +8 nigiris I had.

What a treat!
If you are looking for an authentic Omakase experience in Madrid, I would really recommend Tora.
The simplicity and amazing flavor of each dish made the visit worthwhile.

We had the lunch menu. Of the 10 dishes we had, I would rate 4 as perfect (in terms of taste, uniqueness, texture, etc), another 5 as excellent, and one as good. Great experience overall. We'll be back!

One of my favorite sushi restaurants on Madrid.
Incredible raw materials at very reasonable price (Omakase for €80-100 / person; a la carte for $60/ person without alcohol).
Chef is excellent and very knowledgeable - Recommend booking the private Omakase experience downstairs.
Only comment would be that last time we went, the manager was very slow and not very attentive despite of only being a handful of people at the restaurant

Loved the dinner!

Very good fish. Three downsides: 1) Very limited sake list (and no knowledge from the server), 2) When ordering sake by the glass they pour 2 tblsps (other tables also complaint) 3) No ambiance. For the price you wouldn’t expect these 3 cons.
