Torch Oakland Rooftop Bar

How could it be! We are in at an upscale roof top bar in Downtown Oakland and the only music that is played is Disco pop, No R&B No Jazz two thumbs down for the prices we pay to come to the roof top. 90% of the patriots are African American. This place does not play any R&B WOW WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I went to a private party here, it was such a nice space!! Drinks were great and bartenders were lovely.

Love ya Torch. Just please tell the bartenders my $20 Cadillac margarita should have a shot of tequila or grand Marnier on the side .. in addition to the tequila in my cup. Im they got it right tonight after I said somethin.. besides that, I love Oweee catering, the music , the rooftop vibe! LOVE IT

The owner is very understanding of his surroundings and implementing the changes needed as heard by his community. I love to see it and the growth! I truly appreciate this from a new venue in Oakland. Beautiful landscape and upscale vibes. The view is my favorite part as well as the aesthetic. Torch offers a different take on Oakland nightlife that is much needed and well received by me. Keep going Torch! I love it here. The owner is also very respectful, has integrity and is very humble.

Overpriced drinks that felt water downed. The entrance fee of $25 was not worth it, and the music was not on point. I don't think I will be going back. I expected better and more. BORING vibe. The money is not a problem for me, but to pay $42 for a drink that was water down was not ok. The rooftop itself is nice, but I have been to better. Your response is nasty because you did not like my honest review of the experience I had at your location. And yes, I did pay $25 at the door and the lady keyed us to the rooftop. It was a Saturday night through a PROMOTER that usually throws good events. Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me. Your location is so exclusive that I never even heard of it until this event, this is why I usually attend events in SF which are more upscale and dress code enforced. Do your due diligence before responding rudely to a review. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Love love love Torch! What a hidden gem in Oakland! Everything in this place is on point! The owner Romy and his wife Anderia are some of the nicest people I've ever met! Our group of girls had the best time at Torch that we considered missing the concert that we went to Oakland for lol! Can't wait to go back or possibly even host an event there! What a vibe!

If you're looking for a cool spot to hang out with friends and enjoy the city view, you should definitely check out the Torch Lounge. The rooftop area is super dope with plenty of sitting areas. Whether you want to sit at a table, lounge on a couch, or stand at the bar, there's a spot for everyone. The view from the rooftop is fantastic and really adds to the ambiance of the place. It's a great spot to take some photos and capture the city skyline. Overall, the Torch Lounge is a great spot to chill with friends and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooftop seating is definitely the highlight of this lounge, and I highly recommend checking it out.

They get 5 stars because they delivered for a halloween party I recently attended. It's a really nice place, plenty of space & it was secure/problem free in Oakland. This place is spacious, organized and a good time overall. The Rooftop/outdoor space is beautiful and also spacious. I'd recommend this spot for a good time.

Stopped in on a friday evening for happy hour and it eas quite busy, so I waited for a bit before ordering a drink. Bartender was super nice though, so couldn't complain too much. Drinks were okay. Vibe was fun. And i couldnt really enjoy it being a rooftop bar beacuse there were too many people outside. I'm not sure I would come back, but it's definitely worth a visit.

The place was stunning, the staff was super friendly, the ambience absolutely awesome. Oakland Tech Bulldogs Class of 1985 had our 40th Reunion party there and they had RJ's Catering Loaded Baked Potatoes omg ! Everything was amazing!

So, we went to chill, have a drink and watch the sunset go down on a Friday when they opened at 5pm. And we did just that. We a met some many nice people! The vibe was really nice. Music was great. Happy Hour was working for us. There was also a nice couple selling hearty bar food like Philly cheesesteaks. I would like to go back later in the evening to dance. The views are great and the staff and bartenders were really nice.

well, Vacation in San Francisco we purchased our tickets on Eventbrite for $39. We were told to wear black. It totally wasn't necessary you can come in for free. We arrived at happy hour so drinks are eight dollars so we overpaid by $32.99. They had a guy there making tacos and they were delicious. The drinks were good and the music and ambience was hip-hop and fantastic. The only regret was buying our ticket off event other than that it was a great night and a great place to go to I will return.

The vibes here are amazing I'll most certainly be back it was packed full of fun vibes the parking is a little complicated because the area it's in is a possibility that your car will be broken into so don't leave anything valuable or non-valuable inside the drinks are affordable and really good , the food was good , and the DJ was such a vibe loved the music they have inside seating and outside seating with fire lit I had a great time can't wait to return !

Been here twice. The first time was ok to say the least. The second time... sigh. It felt like the girl at the door tonight was pressed and was looking to start a problem. We didn't give in. We had to deal with security who went out of his way to "humble" us so that he can assert his own perceived superiority. The energy was just bad tonight. Like a previous post stated, "we won't be back." Protect your energy by staying away from this place.

I didn't really like the vibes here and the owner was rude to my friends and I. I won't be back.

We came super early and the owner let my friends and I in and he served us drinks and let us sit and take pictures on the beautiful rooftop! He was so nice and welcoming, his wife came shortly after and she was so nice and fun! We had a great time having drinks and we will definitely come back for some dancing! I felt like I was on a rooftop bar in New York!

The view from this place is outstanding. The DJ was on point and the owner, happened to be there the night we were there, is very welcoming. Definitely will go back.
