Location is downtown, they have Indoor outdoor seating. Nice booths or smaller tables. Food is tapas. Nice variety of cooked meats like duck, New York strip, pork. They have hand rolls which are awesome ! Loved the tuna & avocado and spicy tuna. The scallop carpaccio with caviar and truffle was exceptional. Miso cod was great and drinks are handcrafted. The Lychee martini and mezcal watermelon drink are a must. Nice place, good atmosphere, smaller venue with a city vibe.

It’s interesting to come across a “tapas” style restaurant that serves Japanese food. Not used to the shareable portions. I went solo at happy hour and the small bites offered a light of variety and a perfect amount for portion control. The food was great and plated and presented well for what it is. The vibe felt scale and being next to the college felt like it was a cool “in the know” type of place for someone who is from out of town. It was packed for a Wednesday night. I got attentive service too! The one complaint they can’t change is the bathroom situation is super awkward. Because they rent space in a shared office/mixed use building, the bathrooms you have to leave the space go across to a different part of the building through an outdoor area to use the bathroom. Wasn’t sure if the doors would lock on me or if I was even headed the right way. There WAS some signage but there are a few gaps where additional signage would be helpful for us non-locals.

I am a quiet picky when it comes to food yet this Japanese restaurant truly impressed me and exceeded my expectations, every dish I’ve tried or my friends tried has been really so good, fresh and beautiful presented . The quality is consistent and you can tell they really put care into their cooking , I been there three times so far and every time I try something new from the menu , it’s rare for me to find a place that makes me want to eat there regularly , but this restaurant definitely does. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic, delicious Japanese food ! Every time anyone asks me where to go to eat really delicious authentic Japanese food, I immediately recommend this place to try, I also bring with me new friends every time I want to eat there. The only thing that I don’t like there is the AC because it is very cold so make sure to bring a jacket or you can ask them to provide you with a blanket as they offer that for their customers. This place is really nice and beautiful , the elegant décor and the serene atmosphere creates a warm and inviting dining experience that perfectly complements the cuisine. The staff are amazing especially Zack and Jaime . Make sure to try their (Burrata Caprese, Sashimi Salad (raw), Fresh Salmon Crudo (raw) and from TEMAKI list I tried (Tuna and Avocado, Salmon and avocado hand rolls ) and from Sashimi list: (Salmon, tuna) , from the hot plates (Chicken Karaage which is really fresh, hot and delicious 😋) and Rib Eye Steak is really great too.

As someone who lives and breathes the cocktail industry, I'm not easily impressed. But I need to be clear: Tori Bar is a bold standout in Tampa. They are doing something genuinely special, and it’s an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is immaculate. They've curated a vibe that is incredibly intelligent and intimate, yet still has a fresh, electric energy. It’s the perfect backdrop for what they’re offering. I'm all about an authentic happy hour that doesn't sacrifice quality, and theirs is one of the best in the bay. The specials are fantastic and thoughtfully priced, giving you a perfect introduction to their high-quality menu without compromise. But the real highlight for me was the team. The bartenders are true professionals. You can immediately tell they are not just knowledgeable, but that they genuinely enjoy the craft of hospitality. They are attentive, engaging, and clearly passionate about taking care of their guests. That’s the kind of service that makes a great bar a destination. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I did not take many photos as I was too busy feasting. We came as a party of four on a busy weekend night. The wait was substantial, but we were able to snag a couple bar stools and get started with drinks and our first dish. Later we found our table and enjoyed a steady drip of skewers, small plates, and sushi. Service was stellar, speed of food to table was impressive, and overall we had a great night with friends. Would absolutely dine here again.

Delicous hand rolls (we liked the crab and spicy octopus), chicken karaage and AMAZING UBE CHEESECAKE. It was one of the specials and they should most definitely put that on the regular menu because it was our favorite item there and probably the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Will be back! Yesterday was my first time visiting Tori Bar, and I had an amazing experience! My friend Brooke and Emily with the great smile, who works here, recommended I stop by, and I’m so glad I did. I was truly impressed by the artistry behind the cocktails and the ambiance of the space. I tried the Shishito Spicy Margarita and the Hamacha Martini; both were phenomenal! I absolutely loved the vibe and will definitely Be back :).

My favorite is the truffle scallop rice, so rich and delicious. The wagyu and sea bass skewers are seasoned just right. They expanded their cocktails menu so we tried some, such a good place for late night bites.

The Tori Bar is a literal GEM! I came with a girlfriend for dinner and fell in love. The vibe was intoxicating. The place is more intimate and cozier, but it's perfect for the place. If you're looking for more of an open space, they also have outdoor seating, which in my opinion may be a more popular setting than the indoor. I tried a little bit of everything. Call me greedy, but the food was outstanding. The Mentaiko Fries, I've never had fries with mayo, mainly because I don't like mayo, but this was fantastic. I also had the Truffle Scallop Rice Pot; this was the star of the show. Comes served in a little metal pot, and the server stirs with precision, mixing all the ingredients to perfection (And YESSS they are supposed to stir it for you). We also ordered a few of the skewers; I'm pescatarian, so I had the Hokkaido Scallop, Shrimp, and Chilean Sea Bass, all delicious. My only note is that I wish we had some dipping sauces to elevate the flavors a bit! The Spicy Garlic Edamame was special, no one presented it this way, the spice and garlic aromas, Chef's kiss! Let's chit chat about the drink. NOW these are crafted drinks; if you aren't into experiencing new flavors, go for what you know. Everything sounded great, so I had a few cocktails: I had the Ume French 75, the Lychee Martini, and the Fujisan Margarita (with both the French 75 and the Martini, I switched the spirit to tequila), and they were still delightful.

Came here for Happy Hour on a Wednesday, and it was pretty busy. Opted to sit outside, as it was November. The Happy Hour isn't a huge discount from the regular prices, but still a deal. The fries are absolutely delicious, the lychee speciality drink is a bit sweet but still yummy (as long as you like sweet), and the rolls were good not great... I tried the crab one, since the server told us it is real crab, and it probably is, but just not super flavorful? The pork belly skewers were crispy and yummy as well! Service was fast and helpful!

The hand rolls and lychee martinis are fantastic. There's no parking lot so hope you find a paid street parking spot or uber here. On a Monday night there was no problem finding a spot, but I can't speak to Friday or Saturday. We got lychee martinis which they are known for. It is as amazing as people say. I highly recommend. For four of us we got the cucumbers, burrata, eggplant skewers (two orders), chicken karaage, and edamame to share. Then two hand rolls each. This was the perfect amount for dinner. My favorite was the burrata, but it was honestly all good. The hand rolls were my favorite though. I got scallops (and although it says spicy, it's not that spicy and I can't handle spice) and the salmon/avocado. Both are 10/10 I'd do it again. The restaurant is beautiful. We sat outside because we wanted to hear each other to talk. I didn't get bit by a single mosquito (what magic is that?!) I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back.

This place is a 10/10, especially for their unbeatable late-night happy hour. I try to go there at least once a week because the food is consistently amazing, the skewers and hand rolls are always the best part! It's the perfect spot if you want light bites or the chance to try a little bit of everything. The vibes and music are always on point, though it does get loud and feel a bit like a club on the weekends, so keep that in mind. Service is always welcoming, and I'm impressed everyone time by how quick everything comes out of the kitchen. The only downside is they don't take reservations, but the quality and atmosphere make the wait totally worth it!

I finally made it here on a busy Saturday night to try the infamous Matcha martini! The room was packed from wall-to-wall. I didn't even know where they were going to see us until I saw this small high top table tucked into the corner. They had a great mix of music playing, but at the perfect volume where I could still enjoy our conversation when we're .They don't accept reservations for parties under six so luckily we were able to walk in and get seated right away. We had dinner somewhere else so we only stopped by for a cocktail. Our waiter Andres was a cool chill guy, but threw in a few jokes that kept us laughing. While, I did love the matcha martini, I would love to try it with vodka instead of gin. I'll definitely be back to try out their menu since a few things caught my eye

Was able to stop in for late night happy hour with the squad. Service was very accommodating as always and super friendly. The Japanese smash cucumber is a very good gluten free/veggie dish that was my highlight of the night. Other items I tried were avocado & cucumber hand roll, chicken wings (salt) and tomatoes. Overall my second trip to Tori Bar was yet again amazing. The ambiance is really nice, the lighting truly sets the mood for awesome nights in Tampa Bay!

This review was somewhere in between a 3/5 and 4/5. It easily could've been a four with some minor differences. There was just something about Tori Bar that didn't meet the high expectations others have thrown on to them. First off, plan to pay for parking (~$3/hr). It was a busy Friday night when we came so we understood it would be busy. We just missed happy hour by a minute or two due to a 40 minute wait. We ordered the tuna handroll and the yellowtail handroll. Both were adequate but I'm not a fan of the handroll style. Just give me sushi. It was the same cost as a normal sushi roll but with less value. The quality was fine just the concept is meh. We also ordered the Duck Skewer and the Chicken Thigh Skewer. Chicken Thigh Skewer was definitely worth it. Tasty and a decent portion for a 'single serving' while the Duck needed seasoned a bit more and was much less generous for the serving signs despite being already well more expensive than the Chicken Thigh. We also ordered the fries, which needed a bit more sauce which they were happy to bring. Nothing special but helped filled us up. We also ordered the Kaarage chicken which was ok but nothing special, not worth getting. The best part about Tori Bar is the vibe on the patio with some beautiful weather. The service was ok, but it took about ten minutes to get helped after seating and what felt like another ten to get our check at the end. The biggest qualm I have with Tori Bar are the 'single serving style' menu. It feels like you have to order the exact right amount of food to not be hungry or you could also then waste money. Psychologically it isn't the best feeling to mentally swipe a card to order more food just to fill up a 'normal dinner portion'. All the drinks looked good but we didn't order any. Will I be back anytime soon? Probably not. It's the perfect place to come when someone else like work or a company is picking up the check, just not on my own dime. I'd rather just get Sushi somewhere else or just gets Korean food somewhere else.

Happy hour 4-6 is an awesome way to try a lot of stuff. Sushi, skewers, salads, cocktails, drinks all a couple of bucks off. Skewers and sushi come in fast. Hand rolls are top notch, yellow tail jalapeno is very nice. Lots of great choices. Skewers are all fire! Pork chicken thigh and wing, mushroom and even the gizzards are salty and tasty. Staff is excellent and helpful. It is in a cool part of town next to U Tampa and a few other good things around. I'll be back.

My friend chose this place for drinks and small bites for her birthday. This place has a cute and intimate vibe. The servers were very attentive and it is live and busy so make sure to make reservations! Everything I tasted was delicious. This place does not disappoint! Keep in mind that this place only does small bites everything is typically is a one person serving. If you need something a bit more filling or a side dish that can be shared between two people, I highly suggest the mentaiko fries or the truffle scallop rice pot which in insanely delicious and comes in a larger portion size than everything else. Also hot tip...you can order from the happy hour menu after 10pm so some things are as low as $3, and you can taste more for less $.

Tori Bar was so good! I went for happy hour! The service, vibe, and the food were great! I will be back! I got the Peaches and Cream cocktail which I enjoyed. I ordered the Spicy Octopus and Inari and Cucumber handhelds which were a good sized portion. I also ordered the Garlic Butter Soy Wild Mushroom which was a shareable portion and tasted good. If you have not checked out Tori Bar definitely go especially for happy hour! The one thing I didn't like is that they had octopus for for the Spicy Octopus dish but they said they did not have octopus for the Idako Kara Age. That did not make sense to me.

A must visit restaurant in Tampa! Street parking was easy to find, which made arriving stress free. The moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful interior decor and how clean and inviting the place felt. We had a reservation for a large party, and despite how busy it was, the staff made sure everyone felt well taken care of. Our server, Monica, was absolutely phenomenal. She anticipated our needs, ensured no one waited long for anything, and gave fantastic recommendations that really enhanced our experience. The food was outstanding. Every single dish we tried blew us away. Since everything is served tapas style (small plates), we loved being able to sample a wide variety of flavors. We can't wait to go back!

We went on a weekday to eat here. This place is honestly amazing! We've lived in Tampa for over three years now and I have passed this literally daily and I see all the cute pictures. Everybody post here. The atmosphere is such a vine. But the food is honestly phenomenal! They have a lot bigger menu than I expected. You definitely have to love raw fish to eat here. However, I would definitely recommend going on there. Happy hour because 80% of the menu is on their happy hour and their prices are great! They always have a special drink of the week or the month and it's honestly the best drink on the menu. Try it out! You can't go wrong going here at all.

It was my first time visiting Tori Bar and I have to say, I'm officially obsessed after just one visit. The food was so incredibly fresh, the drinks were amazing, the service was top notch and the vibe of the place was immaculate. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and their happy hour is the best! They have both a "daytime" happy hour and a late night happy hour from 11-close. All the food options were recommended by the server and she really didn't miss! The fries portion was enormous for being a happy hour portion and we shared it between three people and it was perfect. All the skewers options were so fresh, well seasoned and the sauces were great. I truly can't wait to go back and try more stuff!

Great Place. As Izakaya Tori regulars this was a "must try."We were impressed for sure. Staff was professional, timely, and dialed in. Prices on happy hour were great. The seasonal cocktail was excellent! The ambiance is urban professional and trendy. Very busy during happy hour. They have outside patio seating.

So delicious the first time, I had to bring some "out of towners" to check it out. We had ate not too long ago so I told my parents we'd just stop by so they can taste a roll or two. We ended up ordering ALOT of different items off the happy hour. I knew my dad would like that type of restaurant because he loves trying new things & they haven't experienced sushi like that. Everything from the drinks, food, & service was top tier. We sat outside. It was slightly busy but not too busy especially for it to be a Thursday evening during HH. I'm glad they got to try it.

What used to be fly bar is now Tori bar and I absolutely love what they did with the place. It's undeniable that Tori bar has an amazing late night happy hour however I was really disappointed with their service. I arrived at about 10:15 PM sat at the bar waited over 30 minutes to be served. They finally were able to take my order and when that time came, they told me that their kitchen was already closed due to them closing at 11. I was actually baffled considering I had been waiting at the bar to be served for 30 minutes. I will say they did end up serving me after I expressed my concerns However it really did take away from the experience. I really want to enjoy the ambience and the food, but the whole thing was kinda ruined after the service issue. I will absolutely give Tori bar another chance despite the service because the food and drinks were actually that good.

We had such a great experience at Tori Bar! Definitely hit up their happy hour for some good food and drink deals. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu but the highlight for us was the garlic butter soy wild mushrooms. Service was prompt and they have a cute outside area!

I wouldn't come back for the food, but I would definitely check out more drinks here. The $15 matcha martini was out of this world yummy and typically I don't even like matcha. The bad news. I came here on a Friday night at 6:32pm. I was told a 35 minute wait. However, the actual wait time was 1 hour and 1 minute. Off by a lot. The tables here are super close together unless you get a booth or a high top table. The bar area is big and maybe I'd just sit there next time. Now, back to the food. The only food item that was above average was the $9 chicken karaage. I would probably just get multiple orders of this. Also, the $13 Garlic butter wild mushroom was pretty good too. Both the chicken and rib eye steak skewers were terrible. No flavor, and just bad. The spicy edamame wasn't spicy, and didn't taste right. Lastly, I tried a $14 green day drink and it was good too, but the matcha drink was the star of the night. I like all the Japanese ambiance, but once again, I'd only come here for drinks and karaaage.

What a beautiful restaurant! They have one of the best happy hours in the Tampa Bay area. The only issue we had is that our waitress instead of taking our order for the last call she decided to go in the kitchen. Check on something come back. tell us happy hour was over. It stops us from being glutenous for sure but it also limits what her tip would be since it's based on a percentage of what we spend the food was great better than I expected. Definitely will be back. Also, they asked us if we were there for an event. We advised it was for friend's birthday and was completely ignored.

Nice vibe & good spot to chill. The music was a smooth vibe & the ambiance really sets the mood. A little misleading when they hand you the happy hour menu & all the items aren't at a happy hour price then they shouldn't be on the happy hour menu.

Came here w my bestie before a concert and we loved the vibes so much. Reminded us a bit of Tori Tori back home in Orlando expect less hectic and more chill with a lot of space. Fell in love with the chicken tare and brussels. We had more food which wasn't pictured and I was pleased with the flavor, speediness it came out, and the temperature. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were extremely attentive, responsive, and quick which was appreciated. Would love to come back w my girls

I am obsessed with this place! We came here for happy hour on a Saturday and I think we about ordered one of everything. It's super fun to try different things, and they bring the food out as it's ready. I also really enjoyed the lychee cocktail and the matcha creme brulee for dessert. Great patio and great vibes!

Met up with a friend for dinner, they sat us at a high top table outside. Spot was super cute and very crowded. Love the small plates menu because I can try a lot of different items. I ordered the Hamachi Crudo, Hokkaido Scallop Skewer, Rib Eye Steak Chimichurri Skewer and a Spicy Tuna Hand Roll for my dinner. Everything was delicious.

What an amazing place! This restaurant is incredible this was my second visit and I'll definitely keep coming back. I always order the lychee martini, and it never disappoints (absolutely divine) From the menu, I've tried the miso soup, eel & avocado roll, chicken and shrimp gyozas, and the truffle scallops rice pot, everything has been outstanding. My favorites are definitely the eel & avocado roll and the rice pot, so fresh and flavorful. They also offer outdoor seating, and the overall vibe is great. The ambiance, music, and energy of the place are all on point. One thing to note, parking is on the street and it's paid. Also, the restrooms are located outside the restaurant, which isn't the most convenient, but honestly, it's a minor detail considering everything else is a solid 5/5.

Been here 3 times now and service + food quality is always 5/5. Fries are SO crispy and perfect. Pork belly is good. Gizzard salted was just ok (can probably get similar quality at a fast food place but my gizzard standard is low) Hand rolls are great. Rice is always perfect texture and flavor. Not too soggy or smushed. Fish seems fresh and tasty. They always put plenty on the roll. Love coming here. Great vibes and decor. Happy hour 4-6 and late night is a plus!

I finally made it to Tori Bar, my daughter's favorite spot, and I'm so glad I went with her last Saturday. I loved the ambiance, the vibes, and the food. My server Michela T was nice. I'm not sure if it's because it was happy hour, but It's a tapas-style experience where we ordered several dishes. The chicken heart skewers were surprisingly delicious, and the Mentaiki fries quickly became my favorite. Everything was great, and I can't wait to go back again with my daughter.

Tori Bar is an absolute standout restaurant in Tampa! I don't know how their sushi is so fresh and good every single time we go. Me and my husband or me and my friends will always go during happy hour because it might be the best deal in Tampa. We always get a variety of hand rolls and drinks. My favorite hand rolls are the spicy tuna, regular tuna, yellowtail&jalapeño, and spicy salmon. But they are all good. I also really like their lychee highball that's on the happy hour menu as well. Every time we come, the service is efficient and friendly. I'm already planning my next Tori bar outing!

so many options & quick service!! the perfect girls or date night spot. the appetizers were so good especially the fried & the cucumber salad. You can also pick and choose what you want to eat one bite at a time which makes it even better.

I have been to tori bar many times at this point and every single time I have a wonderful experience. This should be your tapas go to!From the amazing service (I recommend a reservation!) to the cool, modern ambiance & of course.... The food. Everything on the menu (aside from a few of the chicken choices) is delicious! Specifically the hamachi crudo, steak tataki, & smashed cucumbers! Beware, on the weekends the bar area can get very crowded & it is close to the university.

My first time at Tori Bar was a great one! I'm a huge Izakaya Tori fan and I can't believe it took me this long to try this spot. It was pretty packed at 7pm on a Saturday, but my friend and I were still able to get seated off the waitlist fairly quickly. It was pretty loud the whole time, which is something to consider. But the food was fantastic. I got the strawberry high ball (delicious and refreshing) and split an 8oz hot sake with my friend. We split the cucumber app, which was larger and much more exciting than we'd anticipated. It was so good and we both wanted to lick the bowl, haha. For my hand rolls, I ordered the spicy octopus, spicy tuna, and the eel. The octopus was my favorite, by far. The hand rolls were a good size and jam packed inside. My one note is that I found the seaweed to be very chewy whereas at other places I've gotten high quality hand rolls it has more so melted in my mouth. Regardless, I thought they were so good! I would definitely return to Tori Bar. The bar inside and all the decor are SO BEAUTIFUL, and the outdoor patio seems like a lovely place to sit and eat if you're looking for a quieter experience!

Best happy hour! Great to order a variety of dishes to share by 6 and hang on to the menu for more. Everything is fresh and tasty. Service was swift. Our server, Monica, was friendly and gave great recommendations. My friend and I dove into our dishes before we could take a before photo. Smashed cucumber salad, karage, teriyaki chicken, pork belly, salmon/avocado roll, sausage, and eggplant *were* on these plates. The salad complimented all the dishes. That and the eggplant were my faves. The yuzu pana cotta was a great finish to the meal. If you haven't been to Tori, you've probably passed it this gem. Also, there's street parking, plus diners get a table for 2 hours in a funky, cozy setting.

This spot was pretty good. A couple of neighbors and I decided to try this spot for their happy hour. There's not a lot, but street parking is available. I'm not from the area, but it looked like it could be hard to find parking at certain times, but not impossible. We had the opportunity to sit on the patio. This particular night, it was a little chilly, but with the outdoor heaters on, it was really nice. We tried a few different things on the menu. The service was a little slower than I would have liked, but it was very busy then. The patio had a live band that came around 6:30 or 7pm. I enjoyed my time and will return.

I finally got to check out this place for a friend's dinner, and we had a great time! They only do reservations for parties of 6 or greater, which is important to know. We had a delicious round of cocktails, including the lychee martini and cosmo. We split a bunch of food including the meat skewers, hand rolls, and fried rice. Everything was very delicious, hot, and fresh. The ambiance is upscale and perfect for birthday dinners. I definitely want to go back and check out their happy hour menu. They have one during the day, as well as late night. Can't wait to come back!

Tori bar is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in Tampa! Whether it's for a date night or happy hour, it's such a fun spot to go to. You might have to wait a little for a seat/table but once you're sat, their servers are fast and attentive. Their Wagyu and truffle scallop rice are my top 2 favorites. All their food is so delicious, you really can't go wrong! Definitely a spot I highly recommend and love to go to

So I'm low key mad none of my friends told me about this but that's okay because this place ROCKS! The happy hour is insane because the variety of things you can get is pretty much unmatched. The price the value is great since you're paying 3-7 bucks per. The king oyster mushroom is not super flavorful so I'd recommend dipping it in sauce, perhaps it was done so to let the mushroom flavor stand out. Japanese sausage - it's essentially a grilled hotdog with a thin layer of sweet glaze. Sweet and savory it's pretty good. Blue crab handroll - now this was absolute perfection , the crab was fresh and the roll Had some heft to it. A must try in my opinion As for the ambience - the setting is darker with dim lighting. It's a pretty upscale looking place that gives off night life vibes. Service was excellent just what I'd expect from the sister restaurant of izakaya tori. Fantastic overall would come again When's our sushi date ?

Another late review. We hope the restaurant survived the hurricane. We came here for dinner while visiting Tampa before the hurricane. Brook was our waitress, and she was very attentive. We dined with our friends. The four of us sat at the very end of the glass window in the back. It was a nice corner table. The place is beautiful inside and out. It was busy when we came in, but I made a reservation beforehand, so we were good. We had a few plates. The food was delicious! We had yellowtail, tuna, and eel. They prepared a bit like presenting tacos but using the seaweed sheet instead. We had fried octopus karaage, shishito pepper, gyoza, chicken, duck, beef skewers, and lamb chops. It sounded like a lot of food, but they were tiny. Everything came on a small plate. Everything we had was so delicious! Their marination and homemade dipping sauce were phenomenal! They go well together. I enjoyed both ways, with or without the sauce, and it was still excellent. We loved this place and definitely will return if we come back to Tampa. Excellent service and phenomenal food!

Me & my friends LOVE Tori Bar. I have been many times now and it never misses. Our favorites are definitely the braised pork belly skewers, wagyu skewers, spicy tuna handroll, & shiso rangoons. We've tried nearly the whole menu and everything is always wonderful and we get great service. We love the up and social ambiance, and the cocktails are great. Ask for the off menu Ube Cheesacake if you get the chance!

Went for Weekday HH Beautiful restaurant Gluten free clearly marked on menu Very attentive service (ordering, bringing food and constantly clearing plates) My favorite were the skewers Our gluten free order: Edamame salt Hot sake Steak chimi Duck (found I'm not a fan, just personal preference) Chicken thigh salt Lamb Shrimp Fried chicken (yum!) Also ordered many other non gluten free items for the table The Rangoon was raved about along with the braised pork belly and the sea bass (some items do not have HH pricing) Would definitely go back (Restrooms not in restaurant Pay by plate street parking)

The drinks, food, and ambiance with the live music was everything! I'm glad my cousin and I sat outside because it was extremely loud inside but still an amazing dinner. Can't wait to go back soon!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. It would be recommended to get a reservation, however, they do accept walk ups. We were immediately seated as we requested outdoor seating. We ordered a truffle scallop and mushroom rice bowl that was enough to share, and two skewers each. I orders the ribeye with chimichurri sauce and the wagyu beef, salted. I also ordered salmon and toro hand rolls. The rice was delicious and creamy. The truffle wasn't overpowering. The wagyu beef melts in your mouth, as does the toro hand rolls.

Sooo, Tori Bar was a nice dinner with a unique twist on how I usually have my sushi. The atmosphere was lively, though the bass in the music was so loud you could barely hear the actual song. The sushi is served in what I'd describe as a taco style with dried seaweed, which makes it a bit tricky to share if you're with someone you like to share plates with, like me and my sister. I'd recommend it as a fun spot to try, but I'm not sure I'd revisit. What was ordered: Shiso Rangoon: Creative and tasty Chicken Gyoza: Yummy Duck Breast: Can't go wrong Sashimi: Interesting

Great place for some evening drinks. The ambiance is great and so are the cocktails. They have happy hour from 10:00 pm - 12:00 am , which I think that is amazing. The service in the bar was quick and efficient. They do have a food menu which I saw some sushi ext. Go check it out it's a great place for a cocktail... parking available. Tori Bar in Tampa has quickly become my favorite restaurant in the city. This Japanese tapas spot has such a unique vibe, but be prepared for a wait if you're dining with fewer than six people. I went on a Friday around 8 p.m. and waited an hour for a table for two. Thankfully, you can grab a drink at nearby Edison Food Lab to make the time go by faster. The wait, though long, was absolutely worth it. The concept of Japanese tapas is done so well here, and every dish we tried impressed us with its quality and flavor. It was also my first time trying uni, and I could immediately tell it was fresh and expertly prepared. As for the drinks, the lychee martini was hands down my favorite, though the espresso martini was also fantastic. The spicy tuna hand roll was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor, but my favorite dish had to be the truffle scallop rice--it was so good I forgot to take a picture! Tori Bar left me wanting more, and I'm already looking forward to going back, especially to check out their late-night happy hour and explore more of the Japanese tapas and desserts on their menu. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that parking can be a bit tricky around the area, so plan accordingly. All in all, Tori Bar is an amazing addition to Tampa's dining scene!
