The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. Highly recommend the Chicken Shrimp Bento. The food is fresh and tasty although the portion could have a bit more shrimp. I come here regularly and I’m generally very satisfied with the quality and service. Overall it’s a place I enjoy visiting and would recommend.

I love this place! It may not be super authentic Japanese food, but it's delicious! I came here with a friend and I got the Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki while she got different varieties of sushi. I'm not much of a sushi girl, but we both really enjoyed our food! I think we both spent around $14 for our food and a soda from their drink selection.

Sushi rolls and teriyaki are delicious. Sushi is served warm. Good size and tastes very fresh. Location is not nice, use for to go. Price is on the high side for the ambiance/vibe for specialty rolls

Great place for a quick place to satisfy your teriyaki and sushi cravings. We were impressed with the quality and price for the chicken teriyaki and the Yellowtail sushi combo. The food is freshly prepared. The sushi combo satisfied my craving for Yellowtail sushi. Don't let the typo on the operating hours listed at the door fool you! On weekends, they open at noon (instead of 2PM) :-) Enjoy your visit!

Sushi was fast and fresh, not sure if their knives were dull or it was just a quick send out, but the sashimi was a little jagged. Definitely not a deal breaker, but a smooth and accurate cut of the fish is a big part of taste so I knocked off a star. But good prices and quick service with an in store terminal for easy ordering and payment if you know exactly what you want. Heads up, of you'd like to make any changes to a roll, you can't do so at the machine so you'll have to place your order at the counter.

Came here while headed to a concert. The place is very clean and bright. The food was out quick and tasted amazing. The sushi was great. The teriyaki beef and chicken was out of this world. You get a lot for what you pay for so it is well worth it. Highly recommend anyone to stop in and try it.

Tori Japan is a great place to pick up lunch if you are in the area! The atmosphere is great and inviting. Music can be a little loud at times though. The staff is super friendly and will make sure you get what you need. The food is amazing as well! The Beef and Shrimp Teriyaki dish is my personal favorite! Definitely will be coming back!

You get a good amount of food for your money. If you're looking for a quick and relatively cheap bite to eat, this place is a good option. Very minimal interactions with the workers. The space is a bit tight but it works.

Good service & food came out fast. It's a small space so there wasn't much seating but we managed to squeeze in at the window. I got two rolls - sweet potato tempura roll & shrimp tempura roll. Both were good but I didn't like that the shrimp still had the tail on when fried. The end piece was kinda pointless once the tail was removed. My husband got a chicken bento box and he enjoyed it. The dumplings were just okay but it was a good price for the meal. Overall, it was a quick & easy place to go before a concert.

" Japanese Excellence on a Budget" The Japanese excel at almost everything they touch . They have the golden touch . I love Japanese food . However I like most Americans live on a budget . However " Tori Japan " is tasty , delicious, fresh Japanese and " budget friendly ". The vibe is warm and welcoming. I love your food . I love your budget friendly prices .

Sidewalk seating is availab when the weather allows. If you are familiar with food court staple Sarku Japan, this is in the same wheelhouse and about the same quality. Nothing earth-shattering but solid and well priced - bentos are $12-14 for a filling meal. Can't speak to the sushi other than the California Roll in the Bento box. It was ok - it's not gonna make you dream of sushi like Jiro, but it's perfectly fine.

Ordered the teriyaki chicken, teriyaki chicken bento and chicken/shrimp bento. All was good. Ordered through food delivery service and it would have been nice if the restaurant had provided soy sauce for our sushi in our bag. Overall good dinner

Tori Japan is one of the more affordable eats around the area! Their bento boxes are under $15 and come with California rolls, fried gyoza, rice, vegetables, and your choice of protein. It's not a fancy place, but it is perfect for students and food comes out fast! Service was excellent. I feel like I'll probably end up eating here a lot for lunch!

Ordered on grubhub! No chop sticks barely any soy sauce but most importantly the rice was hard and overcooked. I don't write bad, or any reviews for that matter but I was very disappointed. Won't order again.

If you're a fan of Bento Boxes, you have to give Tori Japan a try- you won't be disappointed! They offer incredible value and portions. A perfect place for an affordable lunch or dinner. I typically go with the teriyaki chicken bento box. It's a very generous portion, so expect to get two meals out of it. The bento box includes tender and flavorful teriyaki chicken, rice or noodles, three pieces of gyoza, and four pieces of California roll. I highly recommend substituting the rice for noodles. I'm not a big fan of their white rice. The fried rice is good though. Fried rice or noodles is a small up charge. Otherwise, you just get plain white rice. The sushi quality is so-so. I'd say it's on-par to an all-you-can-eat sushi spot or grocery store sushi. It's nothing to write home about. This is an area where things could be improved upon. I typically order delivery. Everything is always packed securely and it always arrives fresh and hot. My only complaint is the quality of the sushi. It could be improved upon. Aside from that, you get a big portion for the money. I'd certainly recommend it to those who enjoy Bento Boxes! A regular spot for me in Boston.

Probably one of the worst foods ever Beef bento tasted like I'm chewing on rubber I threw away most of them and felt sorry for all the bugs that will eat this shit. Boston needs food revolution Why are these people okay with eating this kinda trash

THEY LIE ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS! I've been ordering from this place multiple times via UberEats and I have consistently been delivered my order with wrong ingredients. I usually order Philadelphia roll, and according to their menu it has Salmon, Avocado, and Cream Cheese. I can count and produce more than 5 pictures and uber eats support chats where I've had to complain and get my money back because they always decide to substitute the avocado for cucumbers, and provide no warning or compensation at all. This is terrible business practice. Who knows how many other items on the menu they exercise this malicious practice on, and god forbid they provoke someone's allergies by lying to them about ingredients. Tori Japan abides by a insidious casino business model in that you pay for your food and then find out what mystery ingredient they wanted to use, whereas conventionally you should know what you're paying to eat. Stay Away.

Its not my first time buying from this place but I always find hair in my food and its absolutely disgusting

I got the teriyaki chicken and it was delicious! Although the sushi and dumplings weren't authentic, the chicken was and they were both very good. The steamed vegetables were a little bland but not a huge problem especially considering the price. The portions were huge for me and I was very satisfied with the price, quality, and size of the dish!

The sushi is ok but here's the issue: I just ordered three rolls to go and got back to my hotel room. Not only are there no chopsticks in the bag - there isn't even a napkin to wipe off the fingers I'll apparently be eating these with.

Very disappointing. ordered online and received low quality food and lousy sushi. Rice was not fully cooked and the Redbull sushi roll construction was amateur. The beef bento was not good either.

(TAKE OUT) Absolutely atrocious, took forever to make my food, and when I finally got it they didn't give me any utensils or soy sauce cups... just packets shoved into the sushi containers. There was also a small black hair on 1 piece of sushi. The sushi was extremely soft (way more than normal) and was extremely fishy (way more than normal), as well as random black flecks of god knows what scattered on random pieces, also the rice was some how hard as hell. I will definitely never get food from this place ever again. 0/10 one of the worst food experiences I have ever had.

Sushi was pretty good, nice service, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING.. i dont think they have ever been cleaned...
