Share details: The food quality was horrible. Each time I bit into the food there were so many hard black burnt pieces that looked like from the pan or grill they were cooking on. It was like biting on rocks and dirt !!! Do they not clean their grill or pans ???? It tasted like dirt and I was very disappointed in the quality and taste of this food. I lost my appetite ! The delivery person was kind even though it arrived a few min late due to traffic. The quality of food is terrible and disgusting ! I would never recommend this place... Yuck!

I got a bento box w/ chicken teriyaki and added extra teriyaki sauce I definitely recommend! It came w/ chicken teriyaki, chicken dumplings, vegetables, California roll definitely worth the 13.50$ I spent ! I recommend this place to you! The portion is definitely fair and they don’t rip you off .

Ordered food for delivery. Edamame was cold and tasted like it was bad. Salmon roll was fishy so definitely old . And raw fish is not good to be old!

I got a chicken bento to-go. Ordered extra meat and fried rice. Did not really get extra meat. And the fried rice was extremely disgusting, had weird hard pieces (from the chicken I think) and it was very salty. Seemed like it was doused in oil, teriyaki or soy sauce. Did not like the fried rice at all. The gyoza and sushi were good although the sushi pieces looked a little stale. The bento was also missing dipping sauce or pickled ginger like in their advertised photo. It’s nothing like how they advertise. Price was no worth it for the quality and quantity received. I would skip and go somewhere else.

The quality of the food was amazing. The huge portions in the Bento box were mind boggling. I started with a sushi roll but then ordered a Bento box to take home.

First time ordering from here and I am super satisfied with my meal! Neatly packaged, so tasty and big portion!

We were very surprised to find that this place had excellent food, we had the salmon teriyaki and the bento shrimp and beef, big portions of proteins and veggies, well cooked and well seasoned. Good service, the guys very friendly, fast and easy, not pricey at all, another surprise, we had a good lunch. It's located in a busy small plaza, and the parking lot is kind of small, lots of cars coming in and out, other than this, it's a good place to eat if you are in the area.

I ordered a sushi roll, and I think it was from the soy sauce that came with it, but there was a very perfume like smell to it and a gross chemical taste. It was not good. I felt like I was eating plastic. Would not recommend.

I got the shrimp tempura and California roll. Got it as takeout and it did not disappoint. The shrimp tempura roll was crispy and went perfect with the hoisin sauce. The California roll was flavorful and melted in your room. I added spicy mayo to the rolls which added a great spiciness. The service was fast

I purchased a chicken/shrimp teriyaki with white rice and vegetables sauce on top. Enjoyed eating the food until literally 2minutes later I vomited the whole plate up. Something was spoiled in that plate. I'll never eat from that location again.

Hardly any soy sauce. Rice was overcooked. What a let down. Everyone knows sushi ain't cheap. And i am not over picky. I'll eat star market sushi. Honestly I would much have preferred star market sushi. Also no chopsticks.

My sister and I were craving sushi and didn't want to leave the house so we decided to try this place. We definitely over ordered for just two of us. We ordered the miso soup, volcano, green dragon, shrimp tempura, chicken teriyaki bento and salmon combo. Miso soup- not terrible B Green dragon - I liked it until I notice the grey slimy fish inside and then I lost my appetite. It didn't taste bad but I get squeamish at fishy grey skin. C+ Volcano - good. A- delicious! Shrimp tempura- A-. Crispy and good. Salmon combo - C-..the texture was off. Chicken teriyaki bento- Cali roll was fine, chicken was decent, veggies were fine, and dumpling was good. B. Overall not bad. Definitely not high-end sushi but it satisfied my craving.

I love this place. The staff & the food are amazing. Finding a family friendly place for lunch during my workday is not easy & this place is a GEM.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I ordered takeout and got a bento with tofu, potstickers, a roll, and a side of vegetables. It was very tasty and I had enough for the following day. Great for takeout sushi and there is nothing like it on this side of JP.

Not mind blowing Japanese food, but for the price it's pretty good, flavorful, and fresh ingredients. Ordered chicken teriyaki and edamame.

How do you manage to make the salmon have no taste? Really like how? what type of hedonistic practices what type of sorcery or sacrificial rituals that you have to practice just for the salmon to lack taste! Waste of money I downloaded Yelp just to right this comment!!!!!

Food is fresh and generous. Price is reasonable. Had chicken bento box and eel combo rolls. Sushi and maki. Very tasty.

We were hesitant to try this new place due to the lack of descriptions and accurate photos on the website. We had a feeling this was a chain, similar to something you might find in a mall. I guess we were right. My husband and I each got a sushi combo (he had tuna, I had salmon) and my daughter had the salmon teriyaki bento. We also got an order of spring rolls--which were absolutely disgusting. They were pure grease, through and through. I was happy the sushi rice wasn't cold and with pre-made maki rolls, until I realized that same rice was totally mushy. My daughter ate her salmon teriyaki but skipped the whole rest of the bento, particularly the mushy rice. Simply inedible. Sad.

Absolutely delicious! Chicken teriyaki and chicken dumplings. If not for a stellar recommendation from a friend, I would never have patronized this establishment. The food was nothing short of amazing! Friendly, professional staff. Very clean. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The rice and vegetables were equally delicious, especially given that the cook upon request topped off the rice with extra teriyaki sauce. The chicken dumplings and sauce were great also! I will definitely be back for meals on a regular basis!!

I was disappointed when I finally tried tori Japan because I've heard good things about this place. I ordered the chicken special; one with white rice and the other with fried rice and also a roll of shrimp tempura. The sushi was ok, not sure how fresh it was. The chicken plates LOOKED amazing but it was very bland, there was no taste! I added soy sauce but didn't really fix anything. In my opinion, sarku japan is a lot better which Is sad since it's mall food! Other than food, the place looked very clean and my takeout was ready in the time frame given.

I went there twice with my mother. Their food is amazingly delicious. Especially the Bento box that kept me full. The staff is very friendly and organized. I will love to go there again!

This is the worst sushi I've ever had. Never had sushi that smelled so fishy but looked like it was out of a can. This is definitely fast food sushi but looks nothing like the pictures. And "world famous" teriyaki chicken is overrated.

Horrible bento box. Wilted greens with no flavor. Tofu rubbery and flavorless. Salmon dry and over cooked. Never again! Bento Box

I ordered Uber eats from this place, delivery was all good and came as expected. I ordered a California roll and the Tori Special roll. The California roll tasted too fishy and almost dirty. The Tori roll wasn't much better, neither roll tasted very fresh. Eventhough the description said the Tori roll came with roe, it definitely did not have roe on on. Overall would not order from here again. I was just starving and didn't want to leave the house.

What could go wrong with a Bento box? Turns out everything. Overcooked fish, odd tasting rice, and greasy dumplings. Don't recommend this place for takeout.

I keep giving this place chances, at least three. Each time I was disappointed. I'm new to the area and was ecstatic when I found out about a teriyaki joint in my neighborhood. The chicken teriyaki was dry, rice was clumpy and inedible and the sushi pieces were so small, I don't know how they can charge full price. Mind you I waited 20 minutes for the "rice" to cook the last time. I think I was waiting for the cooks to arrive, two guys came for their shift while I was waiting.

For fast-casual sushi and teriyaki, this place is great! JP needed a sushi place at this end of the neighborhood. The sushi and sashimi are very fresh. Made to order. The teriyaki is delicious and plentiful. We got a green dragon roll, a salmon sushi/sashimi combo and chicken teriyaki bento box. The vegetables were fresh and still crisp. Everything was excellent. The staff was super friendly, the place is spotless, and the prices are very fair. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Great food, quick service. Definitly a top tier place to stop by for lunch on the way home.

We got lunch to try this place as it's still pretty new. We had pretty low expectations due to the location and menu, but were blown away. We both ordered the salmon bento, and expected it to be dry and drenched in teriyaki sauce like many restaurants. The salmon (three decent sized pieces) was tender and moist, perfectly cooked, with a light complimentary glaze of sweet teriyaki. The rice was great too, not mushy like another review mentioned. The sides were very good; the veggies (containing cabbage, broccoli, and carrots) were cooked but crisp, with a light seasoning of oil, salt and pepper to bring out their natural sweetness. The fried gyoza and California roll were good, not mindblowing but very solid. I didn't have time to take a picture but it looked just as displayed online. For $12.39, the salmon bento is a fantastic deal for Boston and could easily make two meals with the portion of salmon. The food was ready in 15-20 minutes at peak lunchtime and the pickup process was easy. We will absolutely be back!
