I came because I heard this place made great oyakodon. They offer 2 options: normal, and small oyakodon.
Simple but elegant oyaku don. I came at a unique time because either influencers or a TV crew were filming trying out their shabu-shabu sets (they're called Ramen Mister? I dunno). Although the menu outside is only in Japanese, they do have an English menu. I was immediately seated in the bar seating.
They offered an upgrade to a small set (so ¥1800 to ¥2000), and their soup is clear with spring onions, reminding me of a Hainanese chicken rice soup: clear and simple, and not too salty but good to cleanse your palette, and a small assortment of picked vegetables.
The head chef cooked the chicken in a big oven which was super cool, it looked like he was baking a pizza. Then when the oyakodon arrived, I regretted not ordering the regular sized oyakodon because it looked and smelled really good. The chicken was tender with a hint of roast.
Would come again if I'm craving for oyakodon
