Torno Subito

We had dinner with a couple of friends at Torno Subito this evening, and the experience definitely left an impression. The design of the space is quite interesting. Modern and classy with really high ceilings! The service staff were very prompt and took the time to explain every dish and even the cocktails, which were very tasty, by the way. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. Refined, flavorful, delicious, and sophisticated without trying too hard, if you know what I mean. They managed to nail fancy without being stiff. What an awesome dinner, and we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic service, All the staff was very friendly. So I had their Valentines menu, some of the dishes were really good. Their Crudo with marinated tuna and caviar was excellent! Just like the pasta Lungomare! And the dessert with Hazelnut ganache, strawberries and Fior di Latte ice cream was a perfect ending. The interior is super Italian, colourful and fun! I like that the kitchen is visible.

Service was impeccable. Staff were attentive and prompt and very considerate too. They split the pasta into two plates for us without us even having to request. Food was on point too and we enjoyed everything from appetisers to desserts (tiramisu and lemon meringue tart). Would definitely return to try the other dishes.

Fantastic food and service. Tortellini with the seasonal winter truffle add on was simple but satisfying. Giardino siciliano was refreshing and not too sweet, perfect for the hot weather. The restaurant's complimentary starters and dessert were also well crafted, complimenting well with the food. Even the simple triple fried bread sticks were a gem. The staff were extremely hospitable and warm. I was attended to by Deborah who was very friendly and takes great pride in her work. I will definitely come again!

Late post Had the chance to dine here without reservation ahead. As such we were given bar counter seating. Fun and vibrant space with that homey vibe setting. Great food and drinks. Semi professional server. Easy dining with mostly expats frequenting place. Unfortunately, (maybe due to being at the bar counter area) we have fruit flies issue flying over our drink, menu and food. Killed one while having my drink.

Very surprising Italian restaurant. The decor is very special, the dishes are fantastic，especially the chef's grandma recipe. We met a lovely girl Ruby with high EQ, she let us feel warm and welcoming. She gave us a detailed introduction to the dishes and beverages as well as the special features of the restaurant. Great experience, definitely going back.

Service was great, atmosphere was neither lively nor formal. It sat in the middle which gave it a casual feel but lacked the fun element it was trying hard to give with the beach decor. The food was a let down. Everything was underwhelming, ok maybe a tad strong there but nothing memorable enough for me to go back again. Not the best pizza, not the best pasta, simply nothing was good enough to excite anyone at the table. With the $50 price tag for pasta, there is a certain level of expectation and definitely was disappointing. To make it edible, I had to put chilli flakes and olive oil in the pasta to give it that much needed oomph. We spent $200/pax with a bottle of wine and a few glasses of cocktails. Overall, an overpriced menu for a mediocre modern Italian wanna be. Pizza - good dough, pomodoro sauce was ok, 7.5/10 Pasta - tagliatelle was al dente but the ragu was not flavourful enough 6/10 Steak - Well cooked and was served with a lovely mash and jus 9/10 Suckling pig - A bit fatty but was not bad 7.5/10 Fritto platter - BORING, the sauces were an odd companion too 6/10 Tiramisu - nothing exciting except for how it looked 7/10 Complementary amuse bouche - Smoked bread - Everyone at the table agreed that our mouths smelt like a dirty astray. Way too heavily smoked. 0/10 Chicken pate bite - best thing we had 9.5/10 Foamy cheese tart - boring and a little tasteless 6/10

The whole experience at Torno was nothing short of amazing! It was one of the prettiest restaurants I’ve been to and from the moment we walked in, all the staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was perfect—relaxed yet elegant. The menu had a great variety of options, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious with interesting flavours. The service from Chef Jason was prompt, attentive, and friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect, providing excellent recommendations and checking in regularly. His attitude truly made us feel welcome and valued. We also had the pleasure to meet the head chef, Alessio, and it added such a personal touch to our dining experience, making it memorable. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into every detail here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Can’t wait to return!
