Torno Subito

My lunch at Torno subito was such an enjoyable one. Any restaurant at Dempsey would have emit a good vibe from the start- No brainer. The restaurant have a high ceiling which elevated the dining atmosphere. There were many insta-worthy photo spots in the restaurant as well. Food wise, the star of the show got to be the prochetta with compote. It was so amazing and if I were to head back again, I would definitely order it again. (In fact, I will really head back again). As for the tortellini, I find it a tad too salty? If it was less saltier, I might have rate this dish 10/10. Tagliatelle ragu was just amazing and the chunks of wagyu were so fresh. Please don’t sleep on their pizza too. This was definitely a green tick on my food list and I highly recommend to anyone who want to have a special meal or to celebrate any events.

When you first entered into the space, you were presented by colonial and an eclectic interior room design. Menu was simple with a choice of a set menu that featured seasonal produce and some a la carte menu. Then they also have a good selection of appetizers, main dishes, desserts etc. Food were mostly great. Love the tagliatelle pasta with ragu and the mozzarella with tomato salad. The tiramizu was the highlight though. We ended up ordering another order of tiramizu because it was that good. The margherita pizza was also amazing. Simple yet authentic and love the pizza dough. Service was great. Staffs were friendly and very attemtive. They have a backyard which is adjascent to a nicely decorated private dining area that could hold around 10 pax.

Conceptualised by legendary chef Massimo Bottura, Torno Subito at Dempsey delivers refined and comforting Italian food in a vibrant and relaxed setting. The whimsical pop of colours that fills the lofty dining space (contrasting the minimalist exteriors) adds to the excitement of enjoying each dish that comes to the table. Service was wonderfully and thoughtfully provided by Giulia, Mush and Khairul. The kitchen team also nailed every plate that came out with precision and attention to flavour, texture, and temperature - from starters right up to desserts. The gnocco with mussels in lemon saffron sauce and pork collar with apricot were uniquely delicious. We had a memorably pleasant time and hope to be back again to try some other classics. 😋 🇮🇹 🇸🇬 🍋

Great space , cheerfully designed and with awesome service. Celebrated my friend’s birthday and the team arranged for a nice candle and writing on one of the desserts we ordered. Food was good but not well thought out. We had the f1 set meal. It was nicely served with sourdough breads and anchovies butter, then starter was crudo, basically a small sized pizza, then pasta. This combi, have loads of carbs. I have no idea what a crudo is, ordered it as i do not want salad or fritters But a pizza right after bread is just too much. Should not be a starter option at all. Suggest to change to a soup. The pesto pasta was unusual. Not much pesto basil taste though, but somehow delicious. Overall, i would go back and try the other dishes and for the great service.

A very nice space that Torno has~ spacious dinning room with tables not so near each other that provides a more fluid space for each guest. I love how the setting of the opened kitchen with front bar section is about , it became the center stage of the restaurant. The menu served seasonal chef tasting menu & a lar cart menu. The server with good knowledge of the menu recommended the black truffle with white base pizza for my family of 3 as an appetizer was really good. The main course we have chosen : TAGLIATELLA AL RAGÙ , Coppa pork collar & tenderloin with Foie gras, were delicious, flavorful 😋😋😋 Very nice new year dinner for us, I’ll go back again for the tasting menu :)

We spent a romantic evening at Torno Subito Singapore, and right from the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be a special night. My wife and I love sitting at the bar because it gives us the chance to interact with the team, ask questions, and get a better sense of a restaurant’s philosophy and Torno Subito made that experience absolutely perfect. The staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and attention, guiding us through the menu and helping us choose dishes that matched exactly what we enjoy. A special shoutout to Mosh (hope we spelled that right!) who curated a superb, personalised wine pairing for both of us. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to match flavours made the whole experience feel even more unique. We truly loved it. We chose the seasonal degustation menu, and dish after dish left us stunned. Every creation by Chef Alessio was beautifully balanced, rich in flavour, and showcased the exceptional quality of each ingredient. You can feel the thought, care, and creativity behind every plate. We also tried the pizza and wow! the taste was incredibly good, easily one of the best we’ve had in Singapore. Overall, Torno Subito delivered a night full of wonderful flavours, warm hospitality, and memorable moments. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special dining experience.

Dropped by for a couple of tipples last Fri and love the sailor look and feel of the place and counter. We were warmly served by a friendly bartender who gave us some recommendations and a couple of snacks to go with our drinks. The cocktails were great and the alcohol content in them were not skimped on. The Cooler Than A Bellini cocktail was refreshing and Fichissimo ended up being my favourite as it was light but had some tang to it. Pizza looked simple but it was fantastic. It was airy, light and flavourful with a perfect crispy crust and nicely charred. The "boat" of cured fish were savoury and salty and best paired with the flat bread.

Visited for the festive lunch set and overall it was a pleasant experience. The scallops starter was outstanding; perfectly cooked, beautifully balanced, and easily the highlight of the meal. My partner’s tortellini, however, was somewhat underwhelming in flavour and did not quite meet expectations. That said, the service was excellent throughout; attentive, warm, and well-timed, which elevated the overall dining experience.
