Torry’s Ice Cream – A Sweet Slice of Heaven in Old Town Phuket Tucked away in the colourful lanes of Old Town Phuket, Torry’s Ice Cream isn’t just a dessert shop—it’s an experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted by four incredibly warm, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming women, all with radiant smiles that instantly made us feel like family rather than just customers. Their energy was infectious—happy, proud, and clearly passionate about the place they represent. Without hesitation, they recommended their signature creation: the Bi Co Moi, a stunning dessert made with blue glutinous rice and topped with rich, creamy coconut ice cream. Not only is it gluten-free (a huge bonus), but it also looked like something out of a dessert dream—delicately presented in a beautiful golden service bowl. The flavours? Absolutely divine. The chewy, slightly sweet blue rice perfectly balanced the cool, silky coconut ice cream. It was light yet indulgent, refreshing in the Phuket heat, and unlike anything we’d tried before. A true celebration of Thai tradition with a modern twist. What truly blew us away was the attention to detail and kindness of the staff. When they saw how much we loved the dessert, they graciously offered to let us keep the elegant gold bowl it was served in—a small gesture that meant a lot and showed just how much they care about creating lasting memories for their guests. The shop itself is charming and beautifully styled, mixing old-world heritage with a playful, modern touch. It’s the perfect stop to cool down, indulge in something extraordinary, and soak in the warm, welcoming spirit that makes Phuket Old Town so special. Whether you’re a dessert lover, an explorer of local culture, or just in need of a sweet pick-me-up, Torry’s Ice Cream is an absolute must-visit. It’s rare to find a place where the service is as memorable as the dessert—but Torry’s delivers both, and then some. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable flavours, heartfelt hospitality, and smiles that stay with you long after you leave.

We only tried their best-selling dessert, the Bi Co Moi, and it was absolutely unforgettable. It features coconut ice cream served over slightly savory red glutinous rice with a drizzle of coconut milk. The combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors was perfectly balanced and very umami. The warm rice and the cold ice cream created an unforgettable experience in my mouth and they even gave us the free bowl from the dessert as a souvenir. It’s easily one of the most unique—and best—desserts I’ve had in Phuket!

If you're in Phuket Town, make it a point to get ice cream at Torry's - a very quaint shop with quirky classic illustrations, and likely the best ice cream you'll have in Thailand. The staff are super friendly and will provide you tasters for the flavours you want to try. Their best selling dessert is the "Bi Co Moi" which is coconut ice cream on a bed of slightly savoury red glutinous rice and coconut milk. It's very very good! Try it!

We visited here 3 times and got different menu everytime. Their ice creams are quite good. They also serve other traditional local dessert. It’s a bit pricey compared to other shop, and the space considered small and could be packed at times. I love how they provide designated trash bins and compartment to put all the bowls, wooden spoon and other trashes into different categories.

Stumbled upon Torry’s Ice Cream while walking around Phuket Old Town and decided to give it a try. The place is super cute with vintage decor, and the vibe inside is really cozy. I tried their ice cream and it was really good—creamy and just the right amount of sweetness.

The staff recommended their bestseller, Bi Co Moi—a delightful coconut ice cream paired with sweet and salty black glutinous rice, beautifully presented in a golden bowl. The dessert was delicious, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and highly recommended. The venue itself is charming, with a tasteful Sino-Portuguese design. However, seating is limited, and it's a self-service establishment, so plan accordingly!

Don't understand the hype about this place, felt like a tourist trap. We tried the kaya toasted and cookies and cream flavours - pretty airy taste, not a strong smell or flavour to it. Plus it was kinda expensive compared to other ice cream/gelato shops in the area. We paid 170baht for 2 scoops. The staff were patient and friendly, but did not like the interior design of the seating area. Too many people.

An ice-cream shop that utilized local ingredients and served in a contemporary styled printed paper bowls. The golden mini pot can be taken home!! you can ask the staff to clean it after you are done with the ice-cream! Recommended for ice-cream lovers out there who love to try unique flavors that can't be found elsewhere. Pretty pricey though.
