Fellow veterans and those with a service dog BEWARE! We have eaten here twice in the past and the food was amazing! When we walked in tonight the MANAGER (of all people) rolled his eyes and stated "follow me". He took us to a booth and proceeded to read me the riot act about strict rules that the dog needed to stay completely under the table and could "touch nothing", he further stated "cannot come out, cannot touch table, cannot touch plate, cannot not touch fork, or anything". I was completely speechless, but only for a short time. I asked if he thought the dog was going to jump up on the table and eat off a plate, I said "It's all good, we are clearly not welcome here." As we were walking away he stated, "these are the rules". I appreciate your rules, however the previous time I was there with my service dog, it was no issue at all and we were not treated any differently than if we did not have a service dog. Look at my other reviews, of the many I have done, I have only done positive reviews to help out great businesses. I did notify him as we were leaving that I would be writing this in a review to warn others. He stated "Don't care, I told you rules". Message received, we were an annoyance and not welcome. I added a picture of my service dog laying under the table at the Asian restaurant right down the street where we were treated very kindly and didn't have to be lectured to about rules. I wonder if rules exist for other things at this restaurant and if patrons are subjected to hearing and agreeing before we they can be served? 🤔
