All the Best Things to Drink at Disneyland - Eater LA

"Out of all of Tortilla Jo’s margaritas, the blended spicy mango margarita is the crowd favorite. It’s made with mezcal and spiced with chamoy, and its glass is rimmed with tajin for kick." - Caroline Pardilla

First-make a reservation. The wait can be long and honestly I don't know why. The service was really good- I have no complaints about that at all. Our server was great with handling diary/gluten allergies for my wife. The table side guacamole was very nice-see video! The chips being gluten free my wife could enjoy them! As far as the food- the rice was a tad dry and the chicken in my enchilada was also dry. Would I call this Americanized Mexican- very much so. Was it the best Mexican I've ever had, no not close.... Was it the worst??... No, it wasn't. You are downtown Disney, everything is just priced higher. However, you can potentially be happier eating here than other places in that area.

Google
This is one of the few restaurants in the area open for breakfast. Our food was delicious and Cece was an excellent server! The breakfast burrito was very good and filling. They also serve 2 salsas (green and red) with chips. Kids pancakes were also very good. Hubby had the loaded Bloody Mary and enjoyed it. It was a quick walk from our Disneyland hotel. Great spot for breakfast.

The Curious Critique - TOP 5% GOOGLE REVIEWER

Google
The food was pretty good. No wait. My guest went to the ladies room and said it was filthy, so that’s a hard NO on receiving 5 stars. The service was on point and fantastic. The prices high, but it’s Disney territory and a tourist trap so there’s that. The drinks could have a heavier hand on the pour, a bit light on the alcohol ratio. The streak fajitas were above average and the side of rice and beans were decent. The shredded chicken in the enchiladas was great and flavorful. The chicken in the tacos were not as shredded so provided a tougher bite than necessary. Overall, really good meal with 2 margaritas. One was the coconut and pineapple and the other the Saint Patrick’s Day marshmallow goodness. So, besides the female restroom, it was clean and decretive. Did I mention Zlata was awesome! Don’t forget to hit up their outside express version which is amazing on the go with little time to wait!

Munchica

Google
Tried the holiday tamale trio which was $39.00 for 3 tamales. It’s not cheap, but when they arrived, the tamales were fresh and the portion was huge. These tamales are really big and it was more than enough to feed 2 people so it was worth the price as it also came with a side of rice and beans. The taste of each tamale was good and they fill you up.

Google
Have been here quite a bit. First time writing review. This place is really good, nothing i have tried has have tasted bad, every thing has always been delicious. The tequila flights are great, and margaritas are strong. The service is always on point, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drink options. Definitely recommend this place if your in downtown Disney.

Google
Cece (Cecelia) was our waitress and she was fantastic!! They were very busy, which we expected since it is located in downtown Disney. She came around to our table and apologized for the wait and brought us waters. We ordered chips and salsa and 3 entrees. Chips were warm and fresh! Salsa was delicious and fresh. I ordered the street fish tacos and they were perfect! Great portion size and so yummy!! Came with a side of street corn and I could have honestly eaten an entire bucket of that. It was so good!!! Overall, great experience and service!

Google
We recently went after they opened back up and we’re honestly blown away by how good the food was. We though it would be very Americanized but we’re surprised how good it was. The guacamole was a hit with us, a little spicy for the wife but she still enjoyed it. Or drinks were really good! We each got a margarita and they were great. We enjoyed everything about our food except the rice. It was lacking in flavor. Everything else was delicious though.

Google
Norma and Maria deliver absolute great service! Our table was checked on constantly and we were pleased with how friendly and kind our servers were. The food here is amazing. Tasty, flavorful, filling, and for a pretty good price too! Considering we spent hundreds in the Disney parks for smaller portioned meals. Easy 5 stars!

Yelp
We went the Friday before they closed. This review won't mean much because they aren't open anymore, but we had great service and a great time eating there. I really loved the strawberry smoothie though. Thank you for the memories!

Yelp
adios tortilla jo, and no, i don't mean hasta luego. this place should've been closed a long time ago but instead it was hanging on to its last thread. cleanliness is a huge issue with dirty utensils and dust collecting furniture. on top of that there was a busser tray just sitting at the entrance with dirty floor mats. the express "chipotle" side isn't any better. drinks and food were both terrible. doesn't live up to the disney food offerings at all, and i can see why they're closing their doors for good.

Yelp
One last feast at Toetilla Joe's!! We will miss this place! Delicious food and friendly staff! Avelino is the man!! He was so kind and helpful! Warmest regards, TJ's staff!
google avatar

Joy B.

Yelp
Service was good, but the food was not. Ordered 2 enchiladas with rice and beans. My order didn't even taste hot, it was warm! The chicken was bland but the green sauce was flavorful. The beans and rice had zero flavor. Wet burrito was a nice portion but whoever is rolling the burritos does NOT know how to roll lol. The carnitas were also flavorless. The chicken tenders looked horrible, my son didn't even want to eat them. The margaritas, chips and salsa were the best thing we had.
google avatar

Cristina S.

Yelp
The table side guacamole is such a treat to watch and you can taste it before they serve it to you. So if you want it spicy, salty, or extra sour than this is experience is for you. The service from beginning to end was amazing. We had a stroller and were told politely that we had parked it on the wrong side. Even though it was raining and stressful with a baby the servers did their best to accommodate us.

Yelp
I've had many lunches and dinners here over the years on my trips to Disneyland. When I heard they were closing up, I had to make one more stop. Tortilla Jo's has been serving up Mexican cuisine for 20 years at Downtown Disney. They are part of the Patina Restaurant Group that owns next door Naples Ristorante and a couple restaurants at Florida's Disney Springs. I have always loved Tortilla Jo's facade and how beautiful it is. The restaurant is pretty spacious with indoor/ourdoor seating. Tortilla Jo's is known for their margaritas with over a hundred types of tequila to choose from. I was running the Disney 5K the next day and order their delicious Jo's Baja Salad Bowl for my final meal. I will miss their big bowl of fresh guacamole and chips that I used to order before my meal. Tortilla Jo's final day is March 31, 2024.

Yelp
Super bummed to find out this place will be closing permanently at the end of March.. This place has given delicious meals every time I'm in the area! The tableside guacamole is absolutely worth it and you get a friendly lady to come and make the guacamole just how you like it! After asking how spicy you want your guac to be, she gets right onto making it! She was so quick with it and the end-result of her skills was amazing. We loved it so much, when she asked if we needed anything more in the guac I wanted to say.. "Yes.. more guac!" We also tried out their lunar new year special dish, called the Sweet and Sour Ribs. It had Asian elements in the sauce and the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. The cabbage colslaw was also remarkable and the rice was dry but good to pair with the rest of the dish. Thank you Tortilla Jo's for the wonderful experiences each time I've come here!
google avatar

Eliseo R.

Yelp
Walking in I saw another table had the tableside guacamole, which made me want to order for myself. It did not disappoint!! As the lady made it fresh right in front of us on her guacamole cart. You can customize it any way you like, and we chose to go without any tomatoes in our guacamole. It tasted so lemon-y and creamy with the avacados. Just like that. It was gone in the blink of an eye. Next, we ate the Sweet & Sour Ribs. It was very delicious and it had great flavor. The staff was very nice. I'm sad to hear that this place is closing on March 31st and I hope to come back soon with my girlfriend, hopefully before they close!

Yelp
I've been here a few times over the years, and it's sad to say that TJ's is closing for good in the next month or so. I've always enjoyed the food and the service. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, with a nice bar on the patio. Overall, TJ's is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal, especially during great weather. Heated lamps outside warm those evening visits. We started our order with drinks, a margarita, sparkling water, and an agua de jamaica. We then ordered the popular, tableside guacamole, which we had the server make with medium heat. My order was the two-item combo with chicken enchilada and beef taco. Both items were great, and the beans and rice were also flavorful. I haven't been disappointed with anything I ordered. The flautas plate looked just as tasty, too. Our recent dine-in experience was pleasant, and everything went well. Cynthia, our server, was excellent. It may be our last time visiting TJs, but we look forward to what comes along. Thank you for all the years at Downtown Disney.

Yelp
Heard the news that this restaurant will be closed on March, 2024 so I thought I should pay a visit before they do so. I have came to this restaurant numerous times but it is my first (and last) time reviewing it. The front desk was very prompt and got our seat in 15minutes like they have told me. Our server took awhile to get to us and finally when she did she asked if we wanted chips and salsa or table side guacamole, which was interesting because that was my first time being asked that way. Also, she didn't ask what drinks we would like to have so we had to tell her what other drinks we would like than water. Both my husband and I ordered the combination plate and like always we were satisfied with the generous size portion of the meal and their quality. We had a late lunch around 2pm and there were still many people in line waiting. It still has that energetic vibe and it is sad to see this restaurant closing. Thank you for the great service and memeories!

Yelp
Food was great, mimosas were better! Cece was so fun and understood the assignment with bottomless mimosas! Great time, music and fun! Make sure you make reservations if you can!

Yelp
I was excited to try Tortilla Jo to celebrate my daughters 1st birthday. However it took 40 minutes to wait in line before they put our name down without a reservation. After we were seated we requested a highchair but I had to ask 3 different staff passing by our table to get one since they said one would be given to us when we seated. Then another 15 minutes passed as we waited for a server to come to our table. We requested a rush order with our food from PePe. The Carnitas plate had soft meat but the beans and tomatoes were mushier than expected. Overall a good portion considering the twenty dollar price range of most dishes on the menu but the Pescado tacos were dry and needed more flavor even with lime added to it. I saw a woman pressing tortillas in a press downstairs in the kitchen which made me expect that the tortillas would be freshly made but I did not get the sense after trying them. They were very chewy and un even as if they steamed older ones and placed them in the plastic warmer. I could see the expression of disappointment on my mother in laws face when she took the first bite that something was amiss especially since she knows how to make fresh masa tortillas by hand. Ambiance:There was a small bar on the top floor with rectangular brown tables and old fashion circular chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Bottom floor had an open grill kitchen with booth style seating. I believe if the service were better and the front of the house staff were a bit more organized about seating guests more promptly then my families experience would have been better. The servers were polite but I believe they were stretched thin between waiting on so many tables. After we finished our meal and came downstairs one of the floor managers in the black pinstripe suit asked if we had been seated which demonstrates their attention to detail after he had walked pass us several times before being seated. There is a jazz kitchen across the way that I would consider for our next visit. Sadly Tortilla Jos will be a no for next time.

Yelp
Have been coming here for years as I used to work in downtown disney. Sad how they will be closing down end of this month to make room for a new sushi place I hear. Many memories here and good food.

Yelp
I'm not sure why I'm writing a review since they will be closing this restaurant soon. The food was just okay and the drinks were okay, not great, as well. We were excited about ordering the guacamole that they make at your table and were prepared to tip the lady $10. Well she came to our table with guacamole and put in the condiments that were in the small bowls which took all of 5 seconds.

Yelp
Had the greatest time with Jessica last night. I'm sorry we made her run back and forth so much for extra salsa, tortillas, etc but she shouldered it so amazingly. We really just appreciate the stellar service. Had the usual fajitas de tres and only the shrimp was a little overcooked. Everything else was perfect including the table side guacamole made by Millani. Perfectly balanced and we almost finished it before the rest of the food arrived. Large portions and plenty of leftovers. Took some salsa and chips to enjoy as well. Love the chips and salsa.
google avatar

Claire P.

Yelp
Howdy! Our server was a 10/10, Avelino was a gem and was very fun and knowledgeable with the menu! The chicken taco was a little bit dry and was a bit hard to chew, but was overall pretty good. Large portions for a decent Disney price. The service was a bit chaotic in the beginning and the hosts were confused and bumping around. Our party of 6 had tasty food and exceptional service from Avelino. 1 star for the host service. 5 stars for Avelino.

Alexa G.

Yelp
I heard this place is closing soon, and I can tell. Everything was just "meh" for a Disney property restaurant. I went with friends who go here a lot and they were even disappointed. We had an issue with one of our drinks, the food was just okay, and the bathrooms were really dirty. The blood orange mocktail I got was probably the best thing.
google avatar

Jordan F.

Yelp
Downtown Disney prices- so expect your meal to be expensive, especially if you're feeding your family. Service was absolutely awful. We were seated and waited 20 minutes to even get water and our order in. Other tables were being seated and served prior to us. Octopus tacos were okay, too much sauce for my preference. Chips and salsa $4, so they're not included or free.

Yelp
Yo, dudes and dudettes! Captain 619 here, ready to drop some knowledge on Tortilla Jo's in Downtown Disney. Now, let me tell you, this joint was a total wipeout when it came to the main course. I mean, we're talking about a cold enchilada with cheese, rice, and refried beans. Not cool, bro. And to top it off, the wait was gnarly long. We had to raise our voices and finally got a new plate that was actually hot. But even then, the flavor was a major bummer, like a 2 out of 10, man. But hold up, there was one shining star in this sea of mediocrity - Alexis. This chick was a true rockstar, whipping up some fresh guacamole right at our table. She saved the night, no doubt. I gotta give her props, she earned a hard-fought 3 stars out of 5. But here's the deal, my dudes, will I be coming back? Nah, this is what Captain 619 calls a one and done, baby. Time to find a new spot to satisfy my taste buds. These waves are flat here, no good surf. Catch you on the flip side!

Yelp
Came here on a whim because we were hungry! We come go to Disney twice a year and always say we are going to try this spot, but never do. We'll this time we did. No reservation, waited only a few minutes and we were a ke to snag outside seating. The outside environment was nice and didn't feel like we were at Downtown, which was. Ordered the endless chips and salsa and I thought all the salsas were delicious and the chips were fresh as well. Def need to get! The guac was a little underwhelming, I felt it was a little bland and a little too much like juice added, but that's something that cane be fixed. Also maybe a tiny bit of salt. I do like that they come to your table and make it fresh. Ordered the fajitas trio with steak, shrimp and chicken all the meats were really good, but the black beans I got were mashed, I don't think I've veer been to a restaurant wher9yoi order black beans and they come mashed. No biggie. Overall the experience was fun and I will for sure be back to TJ's in the future.

Yelp
We ate here for dinner during a work trip on a week night. It was a pleasant experience for the most part. It didn't seem as busy but I had just noticed that we must have waited 20-30mins for our food to come out. We were on our 2nd basket of chips and salsa. The quality of the salsas were good, not too salty; a great balance to offset the chips. My colleagues ordered the skinny margaritas and they said it tasted good. The 2 and 3 item combos were pretty tasty too. I ordered one chicken crispy taco with one beef enchilada for $23. I liked the rice and beans that came with it. Our server was Ricardo and I felt bad for him bc he just seemed very busy to the point where we didn't see where he was for awhile. I think this restaurant needs more servers especially due to its location where even on a week night there were many visitors! I hadn't been to this part of Disney in years so I didn't realize how busy it gets. The ambiance wasn't bad, again it was just very packed. But it was nice to see the colors and decor and also the brightness of the place. As we left, Jordan one of the hostesses helped with getting as bags for the to-go. Overall, this was delicious Mexican food and I think I'll be back in the future.
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
So glad this place is closing down. Aside from the rude front of house staff the food does not make up for it. Who deep fries a relleno? If that's how it's done then this place has failed over the years. Super watery beef taco without flavor that just falls apart when you lift up from the plate. A chicken enchilada made with rotisserie chicken is just not a Mexican dish. For anyone that says this place is good I'm sorry but you don't know what good food actually is. Bye Jo's you will not be missed
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is located in downtown Disney. Make sure to get your parking ticket validated so you only have to pay $10. If you do not get validation you pay $66. We didn't make a reservation but they have plenty of seats. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. It was five people in my party and the bill came out to $205. The chicken enchiladas were pretty good. I wish it was just maybe a little more spicy. The street tacos were delicious and made well. I just wish we had limes. The enchilada Delmar was amazing! Came with fresh avocado! And the guacamole was stellar. It was super fresh and made right in front of us, the perfect amount of lime and salt. I loved it. And they ask you if it tastes OK and if not, they will add more Either onion, tomato, salt, lime, etc. Our server Alex N. is a very hard worker. He took care of us and had a big smile on his face. You could tell the employees work very hard here, and work, doubles, and we appreciate their service!

Yelp
Guys. I dragged my husband across LA so we could eat here. The table side guac changed my life a decade ago and i dream about it. The entrees, 1 star. My husband had the carne asada tacos. They were dripping with grease and tasted like they were coated del monte taco seasoning. I had a beef taco and cheese enchilada- not horrible, but also not the delicious perfection you expect from Disney. The guac- 10 stars. It's still perfect. We were seated within 10 minutes without a reservation, and were upstairs. Didn't seem to be too busy, our server was there right away and I swear our food was out less than two minutes after we ordered. We had great service, just underwhelmed by the food.
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
If you haven't had the chance to dine here, time is running out! Sadly, after two decades of operation, Tortilla Jo's is closing its doors at the end of March 2024. I had a great experience here with a great selection of Mexican foods to choose from. They have a great kids menu as well with carne asada, quesadillas and more. The enchiladas and tacos were so delicious it's worth coming back for again! But you won't be disappointed by anything else on this menu. I suggest making reservations as it may be difficult to guarantee a spot for stand by parties. Great service and tons of seating indoors and outdoors with heat lamps for the peeps outdoors.

Yelp
Great food and great service. All the staff were so kind and welcoming. Architecture and decor is great. Bummer they are closing but look forward to reviewing the new restaurants in the Downtown Disney District.

Yelp
Sad to hear this place close. Definitely worth trying while they are still open. Table side guacamole is a must. They do reservations on the Disneyland app. Highly recommend making a reservation before they close in March 2024.
google avatar

Stephany C.

Yelp
Fast service. Delicious food and mimosas Xochilt was so sweet and ready to help us with our drinks and order. Bottomless mimosas before going into Disneyland... yes please! We got here at 11am and were seated quickly for a Saturday. Not too noisy, very chill. Will definitely comeback.

Yelp
This review is much overdue, but wanted to make sure to compliment Cece for being a great server to our party of 4. Cece was kind, attentive, and an overall sweet person. She is 5/5 stars! The table side guacamole was delicious. We were happy that we could adjust the flavor to our liking. Highly recommend. However, the rest of the main entrees lacked a lot of flavor (i.e., the beans, rice, enchiladas) and the steak fajitas were covered in oil and onions. The flour tortillas were so dry; we couldn't eat these. We're probably not returning, but happy to have tried it out at least once.
google avatar

Erick W.

Yelp
The food was marginal and not hot. The service was slow, though the location was convenient. It was a bit run down on the inside. I would not go back unless there was not another option - and even then, I would likely choose quick service.

Yelp
This 5 star review is almost all thanks to the bartender/our server Wendy! First off, I met my group at the bar yesterday around 4:30pm, and I said I wanted the white sangria. Wendy told me it's not premade so the red one is more traditional/flavorful, but I can't really drink red wine! I also don't do hard alcohol much. So she said no worries I got you, and she made me a special white sangria that was really tasty! She proceeded to take care of our table the rest of the night, even changing my order for me when I changed my mind, oops! Food is good, of course I think chips and salsa should be free but it's Disney after all. Thank you Wendy for taking care of us last night!
google avatar

Cara H.

Yelp
Place was just ok for me, nothing great. We were sat outside, tables were cold metal and packed together tightly. Our server was very friendly , food came out quickly. Our drinks and food were pretty bland, not worth the price in my opinion. For the money we enjoy the fast casual Mexican place right by this restaurant.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
We were in downtown Disney and decided to try this place out and I'll have to say for the price of the food it was really just mediocre so I can definitely say I won't be coming back here but we were seated really fast and they gave us 10% off for being a D23 member . Also the lady who waited on us was nice and prompt with all the orders it was just bland would much rather prefer a little hole in the wall , although the interior was nice and had a good authentic Mexican feel . I ended up ordering a Asada burrito which was ok but just bland, we had also ordered the carnitas nachos and there was so much cheese on them they were just not edible. The kids did like the two taco plate and the flautas plate, you have to pay for the chips and salsa but they are unlimited refills.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Downtown Disney! The dinner menu is excellent and all the food I've had is delicious. Baja salad bowl - highly recommend; very fresh, lots of flavor and I loved the crunchy chip strips in it. So satisfying. Enchiladas suizas are solid, as are the crunchy tacos. I was unsure about the tortilla soup, but ended up loving that, too. Creamy, just a little spicy, and lots of good flavor there too. For breakfast, the skillet plate and the rancheros were standouts. I ordered a side of bacon with the rancheros, which added a bit of extra protein. Bacon was crispy but not burnt - just how I like it. The breakfast burrito was bland and dry. Opt for one of the plates instead. The kids breakfast burrito was great for my son though because it wasn't spicy at all and he loved how cheesy it was. Drinks were amazing! The Ultimante bloody mary had an amazing skewer of goodies on it and the last petal drink (with the smoke top) is fun to order for the "show". Mimosas are only bottomless and are pretty weak, but when we let our server know, he put a lot more champagne in the next one! Service is slow here like all Downtown Disney restaurants, but I found the servers to be very friendly and willing to accommodate requests.
google avatar

Deb G.

Yelp
I would say once we got seated it was good service, but the hosts were a little confused on everything. First we were going to sit outside, but had to wait until the whole party arrived, then we were going inside, but had to wait again for another host to seat us from there. The service at the table was great, especially the lady making the guacamole FABULOUS. She let us try the spicy one before she left to see if we wanted to add any more spice to it. For a touristy place it was good once seated and at the table
google avatar

Harpreet S.

Yelp
When we arrived there wasn't a hostess around so we waited around for a few minutes. The restaurant seemed a bit outdated as well- could use some updating. Our server wasn't very quick- we waited for our drinks and had decided what we wanted before anyone came to check. We ordered table side guac and they came to make it- which was delicious, but they didn't give us any chips and we had to wait several minutes before anyone came around. The food was very meh. I was really bummed because we left the Disney park to come here- I would've recommended eating at the park even if it was a little more.

Yelp
When I was getting ready to order, one of the first things that I asked the waiter was if the burrito was big or small. He told me that it was about average. I was hungry and wanted to make sure that I got full at the price that I was going to pay. It ended up being more than enough to fill me up and also tasted fantastic! My wife ordered a combination platter. Beans, rice, a beef taco, and a green chicken enchilada. Her chicken enchilada was ok, but her beef taco, which I assume used the same beef that was in my burrito, tasted very bland. Lacked any flavor whatsoever. Must have meant that the red sauce is what made my burrito taste so delicious. The service was pretty decent, the place was very busy, but our waiter (Ozzie) was friendly and still made an effort to make sure that we were taken care of.

Yelp
Tortilla Jo's only even gets a star bc of our server, Cece, who was attentive and addressed our concerns very professionally. If this review was based just on her service, a solid 5 stars. However, minus one star for the rude hostess who was MIA from the hostess stand for 5 mins and then when she comes back seats 2 parties ahead of us- one party who showed up afterwards but we're standing in the right spot- the external hostess stand vs the internal hostess stand where we were standing. The restaurant is not busy as it's 11 am on 12/24. Minus one star for the really gross table that they sat us at inside. The crack between the table and the wall was really really dirty w what literally looks like decades of grime. Minus one star for the ceviche my son ordered that had easily 1/3 cup of soy sauce as the sauce. We sent that back as it was inedible and a very poor excuse for a ceviche. Minus one star for the $20 nachos that had maybe 20 chips and barely any cheese but 1/3 cup of sour cream and guacamole. Minus one star for the tasteless Baja salad bowl where the only flavor profile was salt. Oh wait, I am out of stars. Yea gross. Don't go here. Taco Bell is literally better.

Yelp
The drinks are really good here, you can't go wrong with any of the margaritas! The service is pretty fast and the food is decent too. The ambiance is average, but they do have outdoor seating, which is nicer in my opinion. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Overall: 4/5

Yelp
We came to Tortilla Jo's after a long day at Disneyland, mainly because they had space available for reservations and I had solid memories there in the past. This time however we were thoroughly underwhelmed: -The table was a mess when we arrived and we had to ask for all the food on the floor to be cleaned up. -All of our entrees were bland for the most part, except... -my wife's ceviche, which was wildly salty and left her feeling nauseous within 10 minutes of finishing eating. After trying it we're pretty skeptical about whether there was bad fish. The only redemptive part was the table side guacamole, which was very delicious and homey. The server who made the Guac was super friendly and accommodating and it was honestly the best thing we ate at the meal. Our server was also helpful and did her best to handle our various special needs (we had a toddler and a 97 year old grandparent with us). But it seemed like she was handling too many big parties and had to split her attention. Our tips were given explicitly with these two women in mind. It is unlikely we would come back, especially at this price point. The cost:benefit ratio is too low, and the risk of food poisoning is too high.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience here! It was much more fun of a vibe than Jazz Kitchen across the street. Me and my friends got one of these margarita bowls & the chips & salsa, let me tell you... such a fun time! Our sever was extremely nice as well! 10/10

Yelp
Located in the downtown Disney District, my husband and I each got a breakfast before heading into the park in February. Pleasantly surprised the portions were big. He had the Chilaquiles and I got a burrito. Each meal was about $10-12. Staff was friendly. On our next Disney trip in November, we dined here twice as the prices were very reasonable, the portions were plenty and the food was good. You do have to sit outside which is not bad at all as long as it's not raining.

Yelp
Tortilla Jo's is a great choice for Mexican food in downtown Disney. They have a lady who comes around and prepares guacamole tableside. Our lady was so nice and had us taste test our guacamole to make sure it was perfect before she left. We ordered a shredded beef burrito, chicken street tacos (pro tip, add the beans and rice for $2 more if you're super hungry), guacamole, and two horchatas. The horchata was the best I've ever had in my life! My husband really enjoyed his burrito, and I loved my tacos. It was a lot of food so we weren't able to finish but totally worth it. The restaurant was clean and they had indoor and outdoor seating available when we arrived. By the time we left, the restaurant was starting to fill up, and there was a line outside, so make a reservation if you plan to come during dinner hours.

Yelp
I was staying at the Disneyland Hotel and was on the search for breakfast in Downtown Disney early in the morning. Tortillas Jos was able to do take out orders at the bar. As I had only eaten brown/fried foods the day prior at Disney, I knew I was craving something wholesome. I read about the Breakfast Burrito and was TEMPTED to order that. But I used my logic on this decision (instead of my gut haha) and opted for the Avocado Toast. AND I AM SO GLAD I DID because it was delicious! Wow! What a unique avocado toast! IT WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED. First off, the dish as a whole was both sweet and savory. The bread was SO THICK and had a sweet taste to it, which was offset by the flavor of shallots and the savory avocado. Also the salad on the side was nothing special, but it tasted SO DANG GOOD (must've been the fried foods from the day prior) haha The dressing was tasty and I enjoyed the thinly sliced red onions on the salad. And the serving was MASSIVE! I ate half for breakfast and ate the other half the next day for breakfast. A very delicious avocado toast that was both filling and tasty. AND WHOLESOME! A great breakfast option!

Yelp
We visited for breakfast before our day in Disney Land. There was ten of us, four being children, and there was stroller parking outside. It wasn't very busy at 0800 but it was starting to get busy in the downtown area so if you plan on eating here, be prepared to wait. There was a ton of seating and outdoor dining but was great was that we were easily seated in one large table. Our waiter was quick to take our order however we never got our coffees that we ordered. Their plates are huge. I'm talking that breakfast burrito can easily be cut in half and would make a good portion for two people. I was able to order one kid's breakfast meal and split it between my two toddlers and I ate whatever they didn't eat (cause we all know they're too excited for Micky). One of us ordered one of those "make your own breakfast" with just the basic breakfast essentials but I think he could of gotten away with it by ordering a kids meal for a fraction less. Overall, we were fueled for our day but they forgot our coffees.

Yelp
Went to Disneyland just before Halloween, Decided to go to downtown Disney for dinner. Very busy on a Saturday night, but was able to get seated outside. Mexican themed restaurant seem like the would authenticate food. Service was warm and friendly, my flautas were only ok. I sent the same picture to my sister. She thought they were egg rolls, lol. Next time gonna try another restaurant in downtown Disney

Yelp
10/10 would recommend!! Super spacious restaurant and very family orientated! Even if you didn't make a reservation, their walk-in line goes by very quick and the servers make it so. A ton of variety when it comes to their food! Absolutely get the table side guacamole, comes out great every time!! In my opinion, a bit pricey for Mexican food, especially after just having street tacos/etc. but for a restaurant operation AND for being in Downtown Disney, I can understand the price point.

Yelp
Been coming here for over 10 years and there is news that what used to be UVA bar is going to be replaced by a new concept that will probably be too expensive and will cause the demise of this jewel of a restaurant (competing with Ding Tai Fung for who can be more expensive). Yes the restaurants last month is next March... Hope it doesn't happen.... But doesn't change the fact the food here is still amazing although way too expensive for Mexican food (but I still keep going back weekly).... The fajitas are amazing served on a sizzling plate with a plate of refried beans, sour cream, rice, and guacamole. It no longer includes shredded lettuce but request it. The chips and salsa are no longer free but are included in the price of the amazing fresh tasting table side made guacamole. Blame the mouse for making everything even more expensive. Overall the food in my opinion is still worth it. The atmosphere and the service is amazing good and worth every dime. Favorite servers Jessica (amazing fun and fast), Ricardo, Alejandro, Lelanni, And Alexis. Amazing staff keeps me returning along with amazing food. I highly recommend this restaurant!
