Charming little place. I walked a few minutes up a steep hill and it was very well worth it. I ordered the strawberry mochi soufflé pancake with an ice americano. It was so delicious I practically inhaled it. The staff were very nice and sweet people. The interior is also beautiful.
Keep in mind the soufflé takes approx 20 minutes to cook after ordering

I visited this café yesterday and had to come back again today – it’s that amazing. I tried the tiramisu pancake and a double espresso, and I can honestly say the pancakes were the best I’ve ever had in my life. Huge compliments and respect to the team for their craftsmanship – every bite was a masterpiece. The coffee was excellent as well, finally a coffe that was not sour. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seoul. It’s an absolute must!

Café Tortoise in Seoul is a charming spot, especially for mochi soufflé pancakes. The pancakes were freshly made, incredibly fluffy, and filled with delicious strawberry filling. The mochi dough added a unique texture that made them stand out.
A fun touch was the order buzzer hidden inside a turtle—such a cute and thoughtful detail. The café offers more seating upstairs, and each table has its own unique decoration, adding to the cozy and whimsical atmosphere.
Be aware that if you choose to walk there, it’s a bit of an uphill trek—think of it as a good pre-workout that makes the dessert feel even more well-deserved!
Beyond the delicious pancakes, it’s also a great spot for coffee and tea lovers, with a selection of drinks that perfectly complement the sweet treats. Overall, it’s a fantastic café for anyone looking for a cozy and memorable experience in Seoul.

The strawberry souffle pancake was hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever tried. I like strawberry shortcakes a lot, and having it turned into a light, bouncy souffle texture, with fluffy and milky cream, fresh strawberrys and wrapped in stretchy mochi skin - I will think back on this experience for a long time. It was irritatingly crowded on a weekday afternoon when I went, I had to wait 40mins to get a table and then another 20min to get the food, but it was worth it to me.
If i had to go back again I’d switch out the hot chocolate for some other drink since it was too sweet.
Reservations are made with a korean number but if you don’t have it then you need to provide your instagram handle.

I tried the strawberry mochi soufflé pancake and their signature ice cream latte and it was delicious! This place is so popular on weekends so plan accordingly, you’ll need a Korean number for a reservation but the barista was able to add me and contact me on instagram

Absolutely delicious! Soft, not too sweet! Great soufflé and presentation! Upstairs had a fair amount of seating. I came at 330pm on a Monday and it was fully occupied but found one open table. Food arrived by cute Tortoise bell in 15min. My wife said the guy at the register was really cute so that was also a plus! Highly recommend!

A dessert cafe with a well-known souffle pancake has many crowds around 5 PM,
My score on Peach Souffle is 8/10. ₩15,000 is a bit pricey to the taste and interior ambience. I still recommend this for a first timer only.
They give a turtle doll as a pager when the order ia ready.
Order is taken on the 1st floor, and the dining ia on the 2nd floor. They have a few seatings on the 1st floor.

I don’t normally like souffle pancakes because they tend to taste too eggy, but the ones here are good. The matcha cream is concentrated and not overly sweet, unlike many desserts in seoul. The strawberry latte was alright, basically just tasted like strawberry milk.
