"Italy seems to have converged on this small-capacity, smartly furnished restaurant. The food is an ode to Italian gastronomy, showcasing its meat, olive oil, cheese… Classical at lunchtime, more elaborate, and often inspired, at dinner. The Splendide Royal Hotel (formerly Pierre Cardin’s home) offers swish, elegant suites." - Michelin Inspector

We had a wonderful dining experience here last night. We were a party of 5 and I have celiac disease. The atmosphere, service, and quality of food and wine were absolutely outstanding. Our server and sommelier were incredible and highly attentive. We chose to partake in the fixed tasting menu and they accommodated my plates to be gluten free where necessary. The sommelier was very involved, enthusiastic, and passionate in his explanations of the wine pairings. My only caveat is to fellow celiacs if you dine here: they take gluten free fairly seriously (especially in comparison to the majority of Parisian restaurants) but do confirm gluten free status if you’re suspicious. For example our final course appeared to have some sort of cookie/cake in it and the waiter said it was gluten free. Given my intuition/suspicious I asked if he could check and confirm with 100% certainty. He ended up returning with a different dessert option for me, which was lovely, but had I not questioned further I likely would have gotten sick. This did now however dampen the experience and I was so grateful for his honesty. This place is a must visit if you enjoy fine foods and an impeccable dining experience.

Tosca was a lovely Italian flare with great hospitality. The fish and eggplant dishes were fantastic and staff had several surprises with opening starters and deserts. The dishes were well balanced and had flavors that were not overwhelmed by spices or salt.

Good restaurant, very attentive staff, good sommelier, highly recommend the experience. There was only a confussion regarding the main dish but it was quickly rectified by the staff. No inconvenience created Desserts are wonderful, octopus is very soft

The best dinner we had in Paris ( and honestly, one of the top ones ever.). Amazing service, wine knowledge and attention to details. Do NOT miss it.

This is the restaurant experience we came to Europe for! Amazing courses with excellent wine pairings in an intimate setting with cordial and knowledgeable staff. Pay no attention to the cost (although not terrible for a Michelin guide-listed haunt), an experience you won’t soon forget!

We had a wonderful dinner at Tosca. I had the tasting menu and my wife had the vegetarian tasting menu. We also had the wine pairings. All of the dishes were delicious. I especially enjoyed the lamb dish which was the most tender lamb I have ever had. The service was professional and very friendly. We will certainly return the next time we visit Paris.

Ate breakfast here multiple days as a guest of the adjacent hotel. Limited breakfast menu, constant errors in orders and/or poor food prep, and a really quiet and stuffy atmosphere. Hard boiled eggs still raw. Over hard eggs that are sunny side up. And a portion of egg white scramble that wouldn’t satiate a 3 year old.

I didn’t have a good experience for dinner on Friday. We had stayed at this lovely hotel for a week in Paris and never had an issue with my stated food allergies. On our last visit a few years ago we didn’t try the Tosca restaurant but decided to end our stay with a lovely Italian dinner in the hotel. Unfortunately they didn’t adhere to my request to not be served gluten or citrus. My pasta dish had orange or lemon in it! So very upsetting! I go to great lengths to choose something from any menu that will be safe. I often have few choices. They apologized and then brought lemoncello to our room . I guess they don’t realize lemon 🍋 is in LEMONcello! Eye roll 🙄 Not a note or email. Just this request for a survey. I had a lovely quail appetizer that I shared with my husband. Two bites of food! I left very hungry and disappointed.
