Toscano Review - Beacon Hill - Boston - The Infatuation

"Toscano has been open for over 40 years, and having dinner at this Italian restaurant is a Beacon Hill right of passage (and a much better one than tripping over all the uneven sidewalks). Like most spots in the neighborhood, there’s wood, bricks, and leather everywhere. The menu leans Tuscan with great charcoal-grilled dishes like crispy brick-pressed cornish hen, along with great classics like caesar salad, linguine with pesto, and pepper-crusted tenderloin. We also love the Neapolitan-style pizzas—the speck and quattro formaggi bianco in particular are both slam dunks. Always start or end your meal with the four Italian cheese tasting with truffle honey." - Tanya Edwards

Came here for Mothers Day lunch. Every restaurant was PACKED and couldn’t get us in. Luckily we walked into this place and they seated us right away inside. Which was nice and cool inside. Fast and friendly service and the food is delicious! We ordered 4 things of bruschetta appetizer’s because we loved them so much. I ordered the ravioli and they were fresh and deliciously stuffed with cheese, the sauce was delicious. Definitely will be back !

Started our meal off with Dungeness crab cakes with a delicious lemon sauce. For the main course decided on the chicken parmesan. The Chicken is So tender & so moist with the perfect parmesan crusted outer layer. It seriously melts in your mouth. The lemon cream cake was so soft and airy. It was light and not overly sweet.Just when we thought we’ve found our new food spot we find another one in Murpheys just as great. The prices match the quality of food that met our expectations! Will definitely be back soon

Great little restaurant . The menu is quite good. With excellent Italian cuisine and if you want a hamburger. Something for everyone . Kids menu too.

Possible the best steak in the county. Everything was very good. Sara has always demonstrated that she runs the best restaurant in the county. Seating right on the street that lets you be part of the vibe that is Murphys. I had the ribeye. We also enjoyed the calamari & caprese salad.

Came by for dinner. Sat outside. Why 2 stars? Our server didn't offer dinner specials. He also did not check up on us throughout our dinner. Not a great dining experience.

We had dinner here. Unfortunately, we couldn't sit inside. The outside was lovely as well, but not as much. The Tiramisu, while looking awesome, wasn't my favorite. The pesto salmon penne was excellent, though.
