We returned from dinner at Tostadas Prime and were surprised to receive an email from OpenTable stating that the restaurant marked us as a no-show, which was clearly incorrect. This has never happened to me before, as I’ve never missed or been late for a reservation. I hope they resolve this issue. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the service provided by Jay, who was professional, courteous, and displayed stellar communication skills. The food was generally above average, with our favorite dish being the skirt steak. I ordered the Enchiladas by the Sea, which I found a bit bland and could have used more seasoning, though the addition of carrots on the side was a nice touch. We also had guacamole, which we thought needed more salt, and the bread pudding, which was generously sized—so much so that we took most of it home. We appreciated the service, the ambiance, and the parking, which wasn’t too difficult since the restaurant is located in a large plaza. There was a big birthday party happening during our visit, but overall, the restaurant was half-empty—likely because it was just after New Year’s and many people might have been resting.

This place was fantastic to celebrate a birthday, the portions were good, the drinks phenomenal and our waiter very attentive. But beware, you will spend some Mula here. Sides are charge separately, which is a first to me. Drinks are tasty not as pricy as the actual food. Which again. It's a first. I spent 300 just for me and my wife. Be ready to spend anywhere between 60 to 150 per person. Other than the price this place was great. I have to come back to try different things.

Overall food and drinks were good, the only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the shrimp tacos they were burnt. We did let our server know and they graciously removed from our bill. Aside from the Ensenada shrimp tacos, we had the aguachile steak and bone marrow tacos which were delicious. The food wait time was little to none, very fast efficient and well executed by the chefs. Cocktails we had the cantarito and BBL, very great! Unfortunately service was lacking, kinda wild how long it took to get attended/greeted/ordered mind you we had reservations and it was not overfilled with guests. Front desk host could be a little warmer a bit dry. Obviously we are all allowed one off days. I’ll have to go again some other time and see if it’s better. Currently rating a 3.5 overall. Food and drinks are good, so I recommend but service is key to have a great experience hope this feedback helps!

It’s my first experience to dine here. To be honest i didn't get good vibe in this place. Ordered salmon taste is really not up to. It’s salty and veggie are sautéed with lots of oil. I request to change it & opt for steamed one. Still i feel taste is not good. This is expensive but not worth it.

Massive portions! We loved the seafood tower and cocktails. Tacos were fine - very loaded with toppings. We preferred the octopus to the fish taco. Service was awesome.

Went on a Sunday night, not busy. Servers were very attentive. Good place to eat for special occasions

OMG! I was NOT expecting such a beautiful atmosphere, amazing music, and delicious food. My waiter was informative and extremely kind! The wine list met my high standards, and the oysters were especially sweet and creamy. It's definitely an adult atmosphere, but I'm not mad about that at all (date night or dinner with the ladies for sure)! The hall of mirrors en route to the restroom was a fantastic touch. Con: Music was a little too loud but kept me dancing in my seat all throughout my dining experience. 2/20/2023 UPDATE Went for my birthday and was the perfect end to my day! Happy birthday to me!!

Came here last weekend and left feeling incredibly underwhelmed. Most of the food was bad. Even our server agreed. The bone marrow was chewy and they did comp that. We couldn’t keep complaining but honestly, the octopus was also chewy and went home in a to go box. The steak was thin and has lots of fat/grissle (spelling?). We were 5 adults and a teen. To spend $1100 on a dinner and have the food be that mediocre is not acceptable. The only food we did enjoy was the ribeye agua chile and the queso fundido (pretty hard to mess that up). Drinks were also just “ok”. Their tequila lockers are filled with some of the worst tequila money can buy. You’re basically lying for the belly dancer. Our server was great though. Very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Yelp
Food is excellent Bone Marrow tacos were a hit! Drinks are boujie just like a like them!! Highly recommend.

Yelp
The food is expensive, but I think part of it is paying for the ambiance. They have a full bar against one wall, exposed kitchen area, and overall kind of a clubby lounge loud kind of restaurant. Inside is a cool looking modern Latin vibe restaurant with decorations on the walls. They have fire dancers on Friday and Saturday nights, which adds an extra element of entertainment to the dinner. For birthdays they bring out a sign and make noise to your table to make you feel special. Overall it was a good experience at least once.

Yelp
Making a reservation was super easy and highly recommended! I didn't realize how popular this place would be on a Friday night. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the employees were pleasant. The suede booths and table chairs with the dim lighting and neon signage gave a very modern and sexy ambiance. The food was actually really decent! Albeit in my opinion overpriced for what it is. I was shocked to see how diverse and vast the menu options were that had things like steak, pasta, tacos, and sushi! Our favorites were the birria tacos and the burrata and steak bites. Bursting with flavor and a good amount of food to share. Two things I took a star away for: the music became really loud at one point which isn't necessarily a bad thing because it adds to the fun environment but something to keep in mind if you actually enjoy talking during your meal. The larger thing I thought was odd was when I ordered a casamigos and soda they ended up charging me $2 for soda water with each drink. I thought that was strange... usually you get soda added in at no cost when you order premium liquor. So I probably won't be doing that again here. Vibes were definitely on point and our server was really good about checking in on us frequently. Honestly, this place is really fun and worth a visit.

Yelp
Review for July 19 (Sorry I'm late) Came here with a bunch of my colleagues and this place did not disappoint! The fire dancer and bottle service made everything so fun. I forgot to take a picture, but I got the 14oz Outside Skirt and it was very flavorful and tender. I was surprised when I saw sushi on the menu so I have to try that for another day. The food came out in a timely manner for our big party and I can speak for all of us that we had a good time at Tostadas Prime. The ambiance was pretty chill with loud music, it felt just like being at a night club, but with better food. As for drinks, I recommend their Guava-Yaba-Doo and Pasion Traicionera! It gets pricey when you start ordering bottle service, but you're mostly paying for the experience.

Cyndi C.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience and great vibe. The presentation of the food was excellent. The taste is above your average eats. The lady at the front appeared to be unaware of happy hour. We got the feeling either they did not welcome it or she was just irritated which made us feel uncomfortable. Our server was very cool and professional. He told us about the fire dancing and gave us a great experience.

Yelp
We've only went to the tostadas on Santa Clara street and we've had tostadas prime on our list for quite some time. We had amazing service - almost too attentive lol we were asked multiple times if we were getting what we needed. It was awesome. We ordered oysters on the half shell for an appetizer. Everyone automatically gets chips and bean dip on their table - the dip is ok, but would prefer a spicier salsa. The wagyu sushi was amazing- my only complaint was that it was too big to fit in my mouth lol. If you're not into spicy, do note they have fresh jalapeños on them- it was fine for me but not so much for my husband (he took them off). The Cesar salad was good- do note that they don't do any side salads so you will have to order entre size. The steak was amazing! I had a few bites of my husbands and it was heavenly. The ambiance was like a nightclub - and it looks like they do a whole big thing for birthdays - not sure if that costs extra but was very cool. They had a fire dancer - not sure if that is every day or just Saturdays. All- in - all can't wait to go back!

Sean M.

Yelp
At the bar: all the drinks are a little higher priced than normal but come with a presentation. Video is of the Mexican Old Fashioned Restaurant: The food is like upscale Mexican fusion. Don't trust the steak will be the quality matching the high price but maybe another time. Octopus - 4 stars Shrimp Enchiladas - 4 stars Ceviche - 5 stars Service was good but that increased to excellent when they came out to sing happy birthday to our 21 year old on her first night out with family of legal age. They have an awesome birthday sign they bring out and shots in a De Los Muertos skull as a serving tray. She had a great birthday and we all had a great time.

Yelp
Would've never thought the most amazing dinner would come from a restaurant called tostadas and they don't have tostadas lol but seriously the oyster Rockefeller's were the best thing I have ever tasted. their Wagyu beef platter with the large shrimp and lobster Mac and asparagus was amazing. The drinks were good. The dessert was OK. The service was exceptional. I love the fact that they have a purse holder for you that sits at your table so you don't have to put your expensive handbag on the floor or in a seat! very classy.

Jackie B.

Yelp
First I'll start with the positive. Our server Juan was really nice, friendly . It was a lady taking pictures she was nice great for birthday celebration, they give you a great cupcake and come out singing . The negative, DINNER, we ordered 2 NY steaks one med well one med rare , both tough meat. Very expensive at $59 a steak! Tallow potatoes no flavor I needed ketchup to eat. The best thing was the Brussel sprouts. Meal over $233 food only . I'll never go back! I threw up later last night. Maybe the good reviews I read before I should have got what they ordered. This place is awful , dirty bathroom. Roof was leaking from the rain took a while to seat us. I just want to forget I ever came here. I'm sick all day today ! 1/2 star

Erica K.

Yelp
Overpriced and not good. The food was mediocre and underwhelming. The ambiance was nice.

Eric B.

Yelp
Went here with some coworkers. The ambiance is that of the, Day of the Dead. We started out with 12 oysters, calamari and guacamole. Everything was tasty. We all ordered the 20oz wagyu ribeye. Before the steak comes out the sever brings a box of steak knives for us to choose our own knife. The steak had rosemary on top and butter. The steak cut so easy and was so soft when it hit my mouth. The only downside was there was a lot of fat. They also had a lady walking around with fire sticks and putting the fire sticks in her mouth. I also noticed another couple ordering the largest steak and they brought the steak out on the cutting board and let the cutting board on fire. This place has a lot of great theatrics. Since it was someone's birthday, the server brought out four shots served in a glass bull. What a fun night. I will be back.

Maleiha S.

Yelp
Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside has a very nice atmosphere to it. The decorations on the wall and lighting are very nice. The food was alright for the price, I got the wagyu wellinton burger for $37, nice experience but not $37 nice. If anything my table was just very upset with the lack of attention from the server, at one point someone tried to flag him down, but on his way over he got distracted with another table. The drinks they have at the bar are pretty cute though, the cups are adorable.

Yelp

Yelp
Love this place! A group of us met for lunch today and want to try a new place other than the usual restaurant we always go to. Tostadas Prime gave us exactly what we looked for. All the food was very tasty. Love the steak and egg, oysters were very fresh, try the Mexican coffee for the first time and really enjoyed it. The service was superb. We had a great time there. Most of us don't drink alcohol but we saw the table behind us ordered some pretty interesting drinks, will come back with more friends!

Kina M.

Yelp
Came to celebrate my Sister's birthday. Ambiance and atmosphere was very pleasant. Services were great and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our entrees and drinks. Overall great experience and will definitely be back!!

Dee H.

Yelp
Came here randomly on a Friday evening- we were able to find a table in the bar section fortunately. Would recommend making reservations for the weekend as they were fully booked for normal tables. Anyways, the bartender was great, food was fantastic, I am looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes. We had: aguachile (nice spice, large portion, large shrimp, great flavor), birria tacos (got 3 of them, fantastic flavor, packed with yummy birria- pretty filling portion), ahi tostadas (fresh, piled high, yummy mild flavor), and fish tacos (you get one per order, pretty large, great flavor). All delicious and highly recommended. Loved the ambiance, music- fun date night or place for a birthday! They also had a fire performer which was awesome! *make sure to reserve a table unless you wanna sit in the bar section* we tried doing this via yelp but it wasn't working and the hostess said it was bc they were fully booked and no longer took walk ins or reservations.

Jazmin S.

Yelp
Tried out this restaurant. The host was very friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant is very fun and trendy. Our waiter was super informative and helpful. We tried the steak bites for appetizer, they were so good. I ordered the ceviche and that was so good, super citrus flavor. My boyfriend ordered the tamarind pork chop, it was over cooked which made it tough. The mashed potatoes were not salted but tasted well with the tamarind sauce from the pork chop. Would we go back? Not really, it's a bit pricey for what you get. But a fun place for cocktails and apps.

Elisa L.

Yelp
Tostadas Prime is definitely a place to eat at if you want the atmosphere, vibes, good food, and drinks! I would rate this restaurant 4.5/5! Everything was picture worthy, with the design of the restaurant, the painted murals on the walls, the drinks and food. It's definitely a great option to celebrate a birthday/special celebration while also getting that club vibe in a restaurant if that makes sense. Lol. Around the area, the restaurant is located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. I made reservations through OpenTable for a Sunday night and we were seated right away. I definitely recommend making reservations in advance if you were thinking on coming on a Friday/Saturday night. I did enjoy the music they were playing, however I wish they stuck to the latin theme and played popular latin/reggaeton hits instead of normal club mixes. I feel like that would have really made the whole experience feel complete. Besides that, when it came to the food and drinks, everything we ordered was delicious. The portions are good for their price and totally shareable! Our waiter was really good as well! Being that it was our first time, he was able to help us with his recommendations. We really appreciated that! The guava daba doo drink was my favorite! The steak bites were super buttery, and melted in your mouth! The calamari and fries came out hot and were nice and crunchy. I normally wouldn't order seafood enchiladas, but it was actually delicious! I did not get to try the birria tacos, filet, or mini street tacos being that I was so full with everything else, but I know they all had great flavor and everyone were satisfied with everything. Overall, great experience, would definitely come back!

Michelle V.

Yelp
It's a fancy Mexican restaurant. Very cool murals all around. It's pricey , so I only had 1 drink. They do not have a happy hour, so that's a huge bummer. Luckily across the parking lot is a place that has HH until 7pm! I can't justify paying 3x the price of a cocktail. But if it's a date night & you are prepared to pay, it's a nice place.

Michael L.

Yelp
We don't really have too many restaurants like this in the South Bay. It feels like a nightclub: people are dressed like they're going to a club, the music is loud, they have fire dancers on some nights. They go all out with the birthday celebration. This is a great spot to celebrate a birthday or maybe bachelorette party. This could be an alternative if you don't really want to hit the club. I got the tomahawk steak, Mac & cheese and broccolini. The steak is big enough to share with 2 or 3 and the quality was high. The Mac and cheese was thick and tasted great although a bit salty. I got the blue drink with a picture of Bad Bunny on it and it was good. The service was really slow. Even the drinks took a long time to come out. Don't come here expecting Mexican restaurant prices. Think "Steakhouse" prices where you pay separately for the meat and the sides: Will definitely be back when the looking for this vibe.

Magda G.

Yelp
We were headed to a concert at the Shoreline amphitheater and I've wanted to check this place out so we made a special stop. I made reservations for 5:30 and it wasn't that busy which was great for us. The aesthetics of the place is beautiful. As you walk in you'll see the host at the podium, the bar to the left and the restaurant to the right. They have amazing murals along the walls of popular artists including Selena, Vicente Fernandez and Canelo. Our server was very welcoming and informative of the menu since this was our first time. He was willing to answer any questions and offered recommendations on drinks. I've been seeing the Pasión Traicionera get high reviews so I went for it. The presentation and the taste was amazing. He warned me to wait a little before sipping on the straw because it is metal and it does get hot with the flaming lemon. The Mexican old fashion came in a smoke box, a cool presentation as well. He brought out some tostadas with bean dip and salsa. The salsa had a creamy and different taste to it with a bit of heat which I enjoyed. The beans are pretty good too. I ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was really good. It's a nice big portion! For dinner, I ordered the bone marrow taco which was amazing. You scrape out the marrow from the bone to top off the meat. It adds a distinct flavor that you must try. Our server recommended to add guacamole and that made a huge difference. It added another layer of flavor. So goooood! The fish taco was a fillet and it was tasty with all the layers on top. The same for the octopus! I must say, the presentation satisfied my eyes and the taste satisfied my tummy! It's definitely a food experience. The server made the experience that much better. Oh, and you must take a walk to the bathroom. It is a cool walk-through with the house of mirrors. There's even a photo op. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Last night, my family and I decided to celebrate Mother's Day at the Prime location of Tostadas restaurant. We were expecting a delightful evening filled with delicious food and great service. Regrettably, our experience was a complete disappointment. Upon arriving, we were informed that the burrata steak bites, which we had been looking forward to, were unavailable. Our waiter, Juan Pablo, suggested a "premium" steak tasting as an alternative without disclosing the exorbitant price difference. Trusting his recommendation, we inquired about the cost and were told it was $100. However, to our shock and confusion, the "premium" tasting turned out to be their wagyu tasting, priced at a staggering $600. To make matters worse, our bill exceeded $800 due to additional items we ordered, including birria tacos, seafood pasta, and a prime burger. Not once did Juan Pablo warn us about the substantial price difference or clarify the true nature of the tasting menu. Furthermore, we were charged for a birthday dessert we never requested nor received. As loyal patrons of Tostadas, having enjoyed wonderful experiences at other locations, our expectations were high. However, our visit to the Prime location left us deeply disappointed and stressed, tarnishing what was meant to be a joyous celebration. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone I care about.

Adriana T.

Yelp
Entertainment on point! Ambiance is fun. Lots of photo ops! They recently hired a fire dancer!! Check my videos. I love their chairs and decor all around. Service was ok, we had to flag down our server a couple times. The bartender walked around with an alcohol cart lol food was ok, but presentation was great! Drinks were served creatively.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
My first time here, I already love this place. The vibes are incredible and the decorations are sooooo beautiful. The servers was astounding and cordial. All the foods that me and my girlfriends ordered were delicious and very tasteful. Everything was well cooked and all the flavors were well balanced. The drinks were strong and sweet, that's how I like my drinks heheh. During dinner, we enjoy a fire show which surprised us, so the best time to see the fire show is between 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. If your planning to check out the restaurant, please make sure your make reservations because it gets super crowded. I'm ready to come back next month to celebrate my anniversary.

Biancaestela B.

Yelp
Overall great experience and vibes when we go !! Food is amazing!!! Perfect for date night

Thao V.

Yelp
We had a very entertaining date night here. The music, the show, and the atmosphere was like a club. There were shots with sparkler and happy f' birthday signs. Our main show was a fire show. The food however was lacking flavor for me. But the atmosphere made it all worth it.

Dong Wook C.

Yelp
Fun place for dinner. I can see the younger crowd who are into night club music enjoying this atmosphere. Definitely a club vibe. The food is solid and well presented. Enjoyed everything we tried. The meat in the street tacos were slightly dry but tasty overall, especially with the guacamole and sauce. The Birria tacos were excellent! I enjoyed the complimentary tostadas and dip. Ceviche was tasty but needs to be eaten with the tostadas; too salty if eaten alone. The bone marrow was delicious topped with the sauce it came with. Don't mind coming back for the food alone. Really want to try their drinks the next time I visit. Wait staff are very friendly. The restaurant is well decorated inside.

Michael D.

Yelp
Where to begin. My company travels to San Jose for about 16 weeks out of the year. No exaggeration, this is our favorite place in town. The quality of the food, utterly spectacular. And the staff; above and beyond. Personable, knowledgeable, informative, and friendly as can be... We have always felt at home here, and has become our regular stomping ground. I have the surf and turf, truly a treat. But I have had almost every item on the menu... The Pork chop, immaculate... the street tacos were some of my favorite carne asada on this side of the border! The pork chop, was my father's favorite pork chop since his mother's recipe, no joke. if you get here, ask for Tony, or Mike... The staff is beyond accommodating, and I certainly suggest taking their suggestions! Tostadas Prime is the best in town!

Becky Z.

Yelp
The drinks and food were amazing! They have a variety, staring with sushi to ceviche to steak and pasta.

Wika T.

Yelp
2nd time coming here. We've had their tomahawk they bring it out along with the chef and then the ribeye was delicious too. All there drinks were pretty and handcrafted

Sandra L.

Yelp
A nice trendy hidden gem in the AMC theater complex. My friends and I enjoyed the signature drinks. Mine was the smoked old fashioned. The pork chops, tacos, octopus and one other dish which I can't remember was delicious. Everything was SO flavorful!

Channy B.

Yelp
This place was amazing , the staff are great & Jaun was the best & made sure my friends accomplishment was complete with a special celebration, & whoever said Juan was the One they didn't lie , we'll be back again thank you !

Tray S.

Yelp
Man o man had a great time for my bday in June. From the ladies eating to fire to the great service. To the bull after bull and skull after skull. We had a great time. That's how they bring out shots of you order multiple. We were bringing 10 plus at a time. Needles s today we were feeling good but nevertheless the food was amazing everyone in my party was satisfied. I had the skirt steak which was cooked perfect. Other people had the ribeye, birria tacos, steak tacos can't remember what else but all food was delicious. All drinks with alcohol were pretty good as well. I definitely recommend coming here it has a Vegas feel and vibe

Shamina W.

Yelp
The staff provided the most outstanding customer service. This place is definitely a dress cute so you can take pictures type of restaurant. It is so beautiful inside and the Drinks!!! My goodness the WOW factor is totally there. This place is amazing but I must come back on Fridays, they have fire dancers.

Nelson Z.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday with the family on Saturday night. The decor, art and music give the restaurant a good vibe and they also have fire dancers that go around the restaurant floor giving a show. You almost feel like you are at a night club. Parking is easy since it's at a big shopping center. They give you beans and salsa with some tostadas on the house when you get seated. We ordered a few appetizers: - Ahi tuna, guacamole tostada (2/5) this tasted very fishy, I normally like ahi tuna a lot but I didn't like this tostada that much. - mixed ceviche (4/5) this was really good, would recommend getting this. - queso fundido 3/5, this was ok, we ran out of tortillas and asked for more. They forgot about them and had to remind the server about them.. once they came the queso and chorizo were already cold. Mains (shared) - rainbow roll (1/5) didn't have much flavor, but should've known not to order sushi at a Mexican restaurant. - Birria tacos (5/5) these were really good! They give a side of consommé with them, we had actually had them at the location in downtown SJ and really liked them there and which was why we ordered them here. - fish tacos (2/5) the tacos were ok, they add a lot of things so by the time we got them the breading on the fish was soggy. - Spanish octopus (3/5) this was very chewy like they over cooked it... also $52 (they sell it at market price) but its a big portion. - trompo de al pastor (5/5) this was my favorite.. $80 and they bring you a mini trompo of al pastor meat to your table with tortillas, quesadillas, grilled pineapple and guacamole. Wish we would've asked how many tacos/persons it fed because it was a big portion and we had left overs. We could've skipped on some of the other dishes and gotten just this. Dessert - Bailey's bread pudding (5/5) - Dulce de Leche flan (4/5) Both desserts were really good but couldn't eat much since I was already really full from all the things we ordered. I recommend this spot for cocktails and maybe al pastor/birria tacos, everything else was ok.

Yelp
I rarely write average or below average reviews but I can't stop thinking what a disappointed this place was. All four patrons and the guests to our right and left agreed. We all were looking forward to a nice huger end experience. The establishment was absolutely IG worthy from entrance to the bathroom. Service was super lacking ! From the moment we sat down we kept on getting dishes delivered to us that we didn't order. Mind u we didn't order anything yet lol. Food looked great but from complimentary tortilla dipping sauces to the 24k tomahawk meal was luckluster . Overcooked a medium rare . The crab rigatoni tasted super funky. Heavily truffled oiled fries that seemed to be dibble fried? Maybe an old Order? Barrio tacos were meh. Weird thing was the Brussel sprouts tasted good ahah. The el toxico drink tasted like robutussin. The Paloma was tasty though . Two things that stuck out to me was the waitress had us clean up the drink she spilled . And no one packed our leftovers to go. For this price I'd take ur money and experience elsewhere. I dotn think I'll ever come to this location again. NOW the downtown Tostadas has it going on and a great place to go instead for sure . Not this location

Ria M.

Yelp
Anthony was the most attentive server ever. We had a great time. He took care of our group (20 of us) and we will definitely be back soon

Tony A.

Yelp
Drinks, appetizers, and experience were amazing. Eric provided great service and I'll definitely be coming back!

Anvita A.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant and the vibe is superb! Loved the experience! Our server was ANTHONY and he recommended us great drinks to try! Highly recommend him if its your first visit The music is very lively and sets the right mood. We tried the fried calamari, enchiladas and bread pudding

Raquel K.

Yelp
Oo La La! We happened across Tostados Prime on our way to the Mission College AMC Mercado theaters. Outside there are comfortable couches on one side and small tables on the other side, separated by a red carpet entrance. The interior has a dark, Hollywood at night feeling with an outdoor Cuban feel. Multiple levels allow comfort in the upholstered chairs or the booths or the high counter level chairs by the window. We were there for brunch. We enjoyed a Reposada Margarita with a homemade bean, bacon and sausage sauce, homemade blue tortilla rounds, and a little spicy cheese/bean sauce. The appetizers were sausage, bacon and egg sliders with ketchup on soft buns. Every flavor we encountered was better and better. My husband loved the bean sauce so much, they gave him extra and then were kind enough to give him a container full to take home. His burger was huge, with avocado and jalapeño on the side. The large patty, lettuce, egg, and the bacon filled the large bun. He was only able to eat 1/3 of it. My tacos were birria (chunks of shredded beef) were so tasty! They filled the cooked taco shells and then the cheese was so yummy. With the avocados and the two sauces and a lime wedge, it was so delicious! I couldn't eat it all either. We were given to-go boxes (pictures shown) and we plan to go back to try the Mexican coffee and bring our family and friends for Waygu or steak dinner. They have tons of seafood dishes also, including oysters on the half-shell. The perfect spot for brunch or a date night dinner sure to impress!! Our pictures do not do justice - they are takeout ones. Wish we could give smell and taste - so good!!

Yelp
We've been wanting to check out this restaurant since it opened but never found the time until last night. I wasn't too sure what to expect but we ended up having a great time and the restaurant is so cute! Our server (I wish I remembered his name but unfortunately I really can't remember it) was amazing. Super knowledgeable and made great drink recommendations. For our drinks we got the two drinks that get lit on fire! They were both super tasty and refreshing. We shared a Caesar salad to start, the dressing was super tasty along with the croutons! For our entrees, I originally planned on getting the outside skirt steak but at the last minute decided to order the steak pasta and I am so happy I did. The steak was so tender and flavorful and the sauce was like a creamy salsa pasta sauce which had a nice spice and was so yummy. My husband got the fish tacos, I don't like fish so I didn't try them but he had nothing but good things to say about them. They looked like they were fried perfectly with the perfect amount of toppings. Overall great experience and I can't wait to come back with friends!

Yelp
One of the best things about this place is the space. It's a beautiful modern fun space with lots of cozy booths. I had delayed coming here since we had read reviews that it was super loud, and it's true- it's not even the crowd/acoustics. They play their music deafeningly loud- I felt like I was at a day club. One of the best things about our meal was the free bean dip and chips (for better or worse...). It comes with 2 bean dips, one spicier than the other, and blue tortilla chips. I loved that they kept refilling it as well! (possibly to placate us from the loud music and long wait times...) They have a nice cocktail menu, and I enjoyed my glass of wine, though the pour seemed stingier than average. Food was mediocre. The presentation of each dish was beautiful. I was excited to receive each dish, but somehow dishes seemed over-sauces and under-flavored at the same time. There's starters, sushis, sea fishes, steaks and other entrees Kale Caesar Salad- where was the Kale?? If you see my pic, it was mainly lettuce. I'd just call it a Caesar.. Tuna, Guacamole Tostata- thanks for the awful recommendation waiter! I thought this was wayyyy overdressed. The tuna poke is like swimming in the mayo and I literally rinsed it off to not waste the fish Octopus Taco- again, I thought the dressing here was overwhelming again when it didn't need to be, but my husband thought it lacked substantial flavor. Rainbow Roll- usually not a good idea to get sushi at a non-Japanese restaurant and unfortunately this was no exception. presentation was lovely, but the sushi was bland and didn't taste fresh Birria Tacos- stuffed with birria, the three tacos were very juicy but this is definitely a heavy dish as usual. Overall it's such a beautiful space, I would dine here more if they toned things down, as in turned down the club music and minimized the reliance on heavy sauces

Yelp
I rarely leave reviews. Haven't in years but Tostadas Prime deserves a review. Everything is perfect about this place. Great food, great atmosphere, amazing service from the top being the manager to all the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make my friends birthday special. Without having to ask! Drinks were super cute and yummy. I recommend the Bichota, so good. Loved the spicy steak pasta but I could not stop eating the complimentary beans and salsa with tostadas. Out of a party of six, we were all happy and satisfied. Gracias to Rafa for taking care of us. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. And the belly dancer was goals! So beautiful. Thank you tostadas Prime.

Yelp
Went in with a large group of friends. Wait time was a little longer than expected, but despite that, we had a great and exquisite experience thanks to the amazing Anthony. His thorough understanding of menu items and his tailored recommendations to every guest's preferences led us to an awesome time. The items I really enjoyed were the birrias, octopus, and enchilada, and my friends loved the steak pasta and ribeye. Note that you can't leave without trying their beautifully presented and deliciously mixed drinks. Anthony and Ivan even offered our group some complimentary drinks to compensate for the longer wait time. Finally, the entire staff came to celebrate our friend's birthday. Overall, it was a 5 star experience, and I am coming again soon, and if I'm lucky it'll be during Anthony's shift.

Yelp
There wasn't a single thing that was bad and that is really hard to find! The service was amazing but they were not very on this Thursday night. We were celebrating a birthday and they even brought out a sign with sparklers. The steak and bone marrow taco was the best taco I've ever had. It was expensive at $15 for one taco but was a huge portion and so worth it. Other honorable mentions were the fish taco and the calamari! Highly recommend this place, especially if you guys are celebrating something

Yelp
SeaFood was average, Music was too loud. Service was great. price was a bit high but that's because this is the fancy Tostadas (Segun) I like the other NONE prime "Tostadas Midtown" Seafood is way better & looks & tastes authentic. Tostadas_Prime has smaller portions at a fancy restaurant. I wouldn't go back, I just wanted to visit to see if my experience would be worth spending more money.

Yelp
Ask for Anthony as your server. First time coming for my birthday and he took total care of us. Great food and great service we will be back.

Yelp
I celebrated a birthday for loved ones, and Anthony was an all-star. I highly recommend asking for Anthony when celebrating any large event. The service was incredible, and the few issues we had were resolved quickly.
