During my recent visit to Total Wine, Nathan went above and beyond to help me discover my new favorite whiskey. I’ve always been a loyal Maker’s Mark drinker, but Nathan took the time to really understand what I enjoyed about it — the smoothness, the subtle sweetness, and the balanced finish. Instead of simply suggesting another bottle, he asked thoughtful questions about my taste preferences and what I liked in a good pour. His approach immediately stood out as genuine and knowledgeable. Nathan didn’t just point me toward a shelf; he guided me through the different flavor profiles of bourbons and whiskeys, explaining how variations in grains, barrel aging, and proof can influence taste. He broke down the process in a way that was easy to understand, helping me connect what I enjoyed about Maker’s Mark to similar qualities in other whiskeys. His passion for what he does and commitment to helping me learn made my visit both enjoyable and memorable — and I’ll definitely be coming back to Total Wine because of it.

Can't recommend Susan Bordeaux enough. She is so nice and helped me and my wife find the best bourbon to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. She is very knowledgeable and it's apparent she loves what she does! Thanks, Susan!

Absolutely terrible!!! Will not be returning to this location. Nice staff around the store who are helpful, but VERY rude staff at checkout. I used to come in here every week with my dad and get a fun soda (the &more part of the name) while he got his wine. I also would come in with my boyfriend and get the same delightful sodas. Today, I come in with my cousins who get alcohol and I get another soda as always and they ask to see IDs at checkout and I say well, I'm underage so I'm just getting the soda. Then they say that I should not even be in the store and that it's not allowed! No ID check at the door, no signage or anything!! They were absolutely rude and kicked us out without letting them buy anything. I understand trying to follow age restrictions on drinking, but if you are going to do that, then don't sell non alcoholic beverages like the delightful sodas and also, check IDs at the door so that customers don't shop around just to get rudely denied the ability to checkout. Have an actual set in stone policy, not whatever the heck this is. An absolute waste of time and unnecessary aggravation. Terrible experience and absolutely ruined our night as a family.

Do you ever go to those tasting booths and get great personal service, enjoy the taster and buy the product? Nine times out of ten I get ignored! 3:20pm Thanksgiving eve A bit busy, yet got through the line with my 2 bottles quickly. I was trapped in a parking spot up front for a while as I was trying to leave. Finally escaped the parking lot.

Brandon, the store manager at this location, and his team are awesome! Their commitment to customer service is always evident. Every time I have been to this location, I have been impressed, and today my dad went in and called me after his visit to talk about how great his experience was! Thank you!

Love this place. Incredible selection. Decent prices. Amazing helpful staff. You’re not going to find allocated bottles just sitting around but they have a dizzying array of whiskey and wine.

Jim is truly an amazing soul—and those are words I rarely use. I’ve been coming here for over five years, and he’s the reason I’m finally writing a review today. His consistency, kindness, and genuine care make every visit a great experience. People like Jim are hard to come by.

I never been to a that stocks just about every brand Liquor, beer , and wine. Myself I'm not a big drinker but once I'm awhile I like imported beer from Peru and other countries. Because they have everything.

This location is my go to for my personal (non-existent) bar and the best place to pick up something for a friend or party. They stock a huge variety of wine at different price points. They often have samples, especially on the weekends. The staff is always friendly and will walk you over to the item you can't seem to find but is definitely on the shelf. If you're looking for a recommendation there are staff members throughout the store you can ask any of them. They also have an area where you can pick up singles if you want to try something new without committing to a case and their mini- bar bottle game is on point. I usually come in during the holidays and pick up something seasonal, mini bar bottles make perfect stocking stuffers. Plenty of parking and they open early.

You have got to love total wine! Not only is their staff, very professional and knowledgeable, but they have about everything you would ever want at a fair price.

I had such a great time in here!!! I'm not much of a drinker unless I'm on vacation or on special occasions but being sought after and having sips from station to station provided me a celebration of my own. HA I even met a few youthful ladies doing the same as myself which was, to stop in for a bottle of something for someone but, to find yourself sip sip sipping. Who knew that, the time to come in here, are during the holidays when the samples are amazing and sampling are also helpful with choices in wine and hard core whiskey options for those special events. This lovely humid in front sought me out, even after I sampled her items and shared a potion of her lovely sweet cocktail with me.. of course, I'm always the life of the party and before you knew it... the party was on and popping in this corner jk ( partially true) There was a couple who looked at me as if I were from another planet and then they joined me . I walked away but then (the presenter) came to find me. This is my new spot during the holidays or if I need a bottle for a dinner party. Thanks for the fun time guys and honestly why is this spot cheaper than other places? Curious! There's plenty of parking on site

Came in for some whisky for a Christmas gift, and they had exactly what I was looking for. The Total Wine and More app makes it really easy to find things in the store by giving you the exact location. I also picked up some beer to try. I love how they let you do single cans so you can try things! The cashier was nice and there weren't long lines (and it was a Saturday night). Good experience. Will come back.

I found a staff member standing behind the tasting counter by the name of Joe and he noticed I was peering at a bourbon. He eventually offered to give me a sample of a Spirits Direct aged bourbon which was fantastic. I didn't plan on it but I took the bottle home with me.

Total Wine is my favorite place to replenish my liquor cabinet. It is a very rare sale when Fry's or Safeway has a lower price. However, last I checked, Total Wine will match any local competitors ad price. It has the greatest selection of shelters, beers, and liquors in the entire Valley. When I stopped in the other day, reps were doing a free sampling of a bourbon distilled in Austin, Texas. I have found employees to be very educated on their products.

The staff here are very helpful, friendly and well informed. I have not been to too many Total Wine and this location offered tastings so you can have an informed decision on what to buy. This place is also pretty huge and has an extensive selection of different types of alcohol from beer to wine to whiskey, tequila and much more.

Total Wine & More in Camelback was exactly what I was looking for, a wine shop with serious variety and helpful options. I walked in expecting the usual, but was impressed by the breadth of labels (everywhere from local Arizona bottles to global classics). The wine wall and tasting station gave me a chance to sample new wines before committing. The store feels well organized and spacious, with clear signage and comfortable layout. Whether I was browsing midweek or visiting on a weekend, the experience was seamless, good selection, consistent quality, and a wine shop where I want to return again.

I'm just happy they had soju. That's all I need lol. Wish they had the yogurt flavored one though. :/

This is a awesome place to go and purchase liquors and wine. Everytime I go to Arizona, I feel sometimes compelled to drink some good alcohol. This place is FIRE. One of the best places in Arizona to purchase drinks and all. They have all the popular stuff you desire from beer to wine, wine to liquor, etc. Owners and employees here are real nice people. I will be back.

This is the worst place I have ever been at in my whole life, this lady not saying black plays an issue but... she was very rude to my father and I but she acted very rudely and racist towards Mexicans! Did not ID the white family in front of us but stopped us and called the manager over who's a joke, never coming back here again worst place of my life.

A beautiful store with beautiful displays. Very helpful staff as excited about ringing you up as you are about drinking your purchase. Clean, well stocked and a great atmosphere. The nicest Total Wine in the valley. Great selection and perfectly presented.

My guy Brad is the real deal. Super nice and helpful. Helps what he's also from Virginia too. Ask for him by name and try the tequila

Since returning from a recent trip to Europe, I discovered that Total Wine and more has a great selection of European wines at very reasonable prices. Their selection of Italian wines is awesome. We normally shop at the Rancho Cucamonga and San Dimas store

Short Security guard (or worker cause he didn't have a security shirt so maybe but imma say security) with sun glasses and little mustache was so rude to me. I'm a door dasher and my driver didn't know not to park in the curbside pickup. And he comes up to me fast talking rudely to me saying "Are you DoorDash or something? On DoorDash it literally says not to park there! so you have to move cause I have other people coming!" I said "okay I'll let him know" so I let him know but my driver ended up telling me he didn't hear me that well since he has a hearing problem in one ear. I walked in the store to get the order and the security guard came running after me two seconds after I went inside and said my driver didn't move yet so he was gonna ban me from other orders from the store! So I just walked out and as I walked out he was speed walking right behind me the whole time until I got to my car. The thing is he could have walked up to my driver who had the window down but I have a feeling that since him and I are both Mexican that he was racially profiling us since we were Mexicans in the Scotsdale area. It's so rude and unprofessional. I understand it's his job to inform but it really felt like a power trip and that he just wanted to yell at a girl. Cause why not just go up to my male driver who was In the car in the spot with his window down to let him know yourself instead of yelling at the person who's not even driving? It doesn't make sense. It's a nice store and I've gone in there before no problems so to be threatened of being banned from doing my job just cause of a mistake in parking is so upsetting. I do DoorDash full time to make up for bills so it's upsetting losing out on money which that worker made me lose out on cause of a parking mistake. Giving a call to the manager and getting cooperates number cause I shouldn't have to feel like I'm a target cause of my race or anything at that, didn't even get a hello when I walked into the store. Please avoid this place if you're a door dasher, Mexican, or a woman. He doesn't like our people there.

Seems to me that everyone caught attitude the last 5 months at this location in Tempe Emerald Center. Rude cashiers, staff ignores you now when you walk in, you ask for help only to tell you that they'll be back but never do and most of all a few employees doesn't even know their own field.

Great selection, prices are expected. Jennifer is lovely, glad to have had a chance to speak with her about their offerings

I can truly say I am so deeply upset and prefer BevMo over total wine all 6 times I have visited total wines specifically this location I've had the worst experience ever I paid for a 184$ bottle today and I still received shitty customer service the cashier that helped me today was Jocelyn 95422 I couldn't even shop I still had 40 mins and was in and out all the staff was waiting in the front to kick us out and looking at us horribly when I asked if I could leave the cart in a certain location I was approached rudely and told not it's blocking my way out from employee eager to leave when asking for a high end bottle and help from a worker I was approached with negative attitude I will definitely not be returning and will be reaching out to corporate as well

Purchased a keg but had an issue with the tap so was not able to use much of it. Brandon at customer service helped us out and we are very grateful to them for making the situation right. Will definitely return.

This has been my main location to pick up drinks after a long day at work prior to heading home (seeing as I work so close by). Unfortunately today will be my last day stopping at this store due to how I was treated. Staff members Annie and Max behaved in a completely unprofessional way and it may be helpful if Max received some coaching on how to properly handle customer service issues. Using words to escalate a situation, act extremely aggressive towards a customer and attempt to rudely talk over someone when we were asking questions in confusion after Annie, the cashier, just left the line, is extremely unprofessional. I get someone may be unhappy they have to work on Easter.. but bringing that attitude to work is never acceptable. This interaction completely ruined my day and the impression which the store and its employees created of the surrounding Phoenix area (and people who are here) for her - as she is visiting from out of state was beyond frustrating. I'm so ashamed at how that was handled and expect TotalWine to make corrections in how their staff is trained and who is employed at the location as I talked this store up so highly before we stopped in. I deal with sales and sales training on a daily basis and if a worker EVER treated a client in such a manor in any of the companies I consult with, said employee would no longer to have a job as that would be looked at as a cancerous individual who will potentially smear the reputation of the company.

Brad is the best! Everything we were looking for, Brad knew where it was and he recommended something that was better. Both items he recommended were in fact better than what we usually get. If you need anything at total wine I would definitely seek out Brad!

I really love this camelback location, you can't beat their customer service, selection, and samples of wine tastings, and usually a good whiskey or two! We usually have our dog Luna with us, and the staff is always so friendly and goes out of their way, to make sure she feels as welcomed, as we do! As for any questions you might have regarding the products, the staff is so knowledgeable, and is always ready to give a recommendation, or point you in the right direction! Prices are good as well! If your a member, which is free to join, you'll also earn rewards! Today I received $5 off my purchase!

We are fortunate to live very close to Total Wine. It's our go-to ethanol establishment. Generous selection of craft beers, and very knowledgeable staff about all kinds of spirits and liquors. They can help you find just about any drink you want, and if it's not in the store they can order it. Bonus- they're usually always doing a tasting on something. Accessories (cups, glasses, mixers) are marked way up, but at least it's one stop shopping if you're in a bind. Cheers!

I wish we had large wine superstores like this in Western NY. We have one or two in Rochester that's comparable in size, but they are definitely not the norm. I found the layout to be very user friendly. Signs were legible and it was easy to fine your particular type of wine. They also have a good selection of beer and liquor. I found the selection of Californian wine to be better than what we can find in NY. There were a lot of select / reserve bottles from wineries that I cannot find in NY. A lot of choices in the $20 range. This is not too surprising, due to geography. As a result, the bottles I usually get in NY were $2-3 cheaper in Arizona. Overall, an impressive store.

This location is not a good place to get your wine. The bins have been mined and it is difficult to impossible to find wine shop quality products. The worst part of shopping here is that the cash register is programmed to cheat and FRAUD. Simply put, my total came to 241. My coupon was good for a 40 dollar discount. New total, 224. WTF! Manager tried telling me it was correct. I left. This place should be closed down.

Brad was hands down an angel in disguise. My boyfriend and I had such an amazing experience getting education on wine from him. Please go to his private events he is such a sweetheart and a blessing. We love you Brad

Bought a $6000 of scotch from this awful establishment and got delivered an empty box and they blamed the delivery driver who just recovered from cancer for stealing the bottle despite him emptying his entire car to show it wasn't in there, they brought him to tears yelling at him calling him a liar. Claimed the bottle was sealing in 3 different ways despite no seals or residue. Denied us the footage of them packing bottle as well. Fraud on the highest levels. Never order from them

This is an excellent store with friendly employees and a huge selection of wines, beers, and spirits. It is my first stop when I want to find something that might not be in a regular store. I have rarely been disappointed in their selection. Back in the day when they could do tastings, there were often options for local companies as well as curated offerings by the employees. I miss those days, and I know they'll be back! In the meantime, I love how easy to use their curbside pickup is! You can still get the 6-pack discount on the website, and you have the option to browse from your home. They make the pickup very easy - you park in a reserved spot, text your info to the number on the sign, and out comes your beverages to go right in your trunk. I have even noticed that they have started to label some items as vegan, which is a big plus. It can be hard to figure out which wines are vegan, so little extras by the company go a long way.

I have been to multiple Total Wines in both Wisconsin and Arizona and this is the only one I've had issues with. The service is absolutely disgusting. I feel like a nuisance every time I'm there. I've given the workers grace because everyone has a bad day. But this has been consistent for the last year. I don't expect changes because it's obvious the arrogance comes from management.

We have supported and used Total Wine for years. Never had problems until today. Our order was incorrect and bottles broken. But the worst part was the store manager at Camelback, Eric. He was very rude and unprofessional. We ordered $2800 from this store over the past year for parties and such. They just lost a good customer! And we have to eat a $210.00 order because we can't get a refund. I will not spend time fighting with stupid, I will just take my business elsewhere.

This is my go to place for Wine. I'm so glad I could find one here in Phoenix. They have a huge variety of wines to chose from. I always can find what I'm looking for here.

Aiden really made this visit special, I was in a rush and he assisted by having the order ready in the front. He even assisted with some last minute changes and suggestions. I was really blown away with the service he provided. He was polite, well mannered, accommodating, and very professional. This is the best store to buy toasters from! They have a variety of different kinds and provide you with the best service including toasting your genitalia. It feels great and worshipping booty is amazing too.

Awesome selection and store! Friendly staff members. It is a lollaBOOZola when one walks into this store. This location is one of the best, organized, and well stocked and staffed. Free samples are always appreciated and fun too. The one star reviews are odd. It is the law to check id's or risk losing their Liquor license. If in doubt they will check. By the way, that is not the store's rule but the law. And yeah wear a mask. I would up a star for a place that cared that much for their customers health and life.

This review is specifically for Sue. My wife and I visited Saturday night looking for some wine. We had an offer for $10 off $50 and were trying to decide what wines to select. Sue saw us looking a bit lost and came over to ask us if we needed help. Not only did she help us select a wine, she walked us through our entire shopping experience. Sue was patient enough to stay with us while I tried to remember what type of wines I was looking for. She walked us to each type and even provided multiple recommendations per type. It was the best experience I've had at a Total Wine. We left with three amazing wines (we've only tried the Mischievous Lodi Zenfandel she recommended but it is amazing) and will be returning again soon for more wine. I definitely recommend this location over others that I have visited. If you are in the area and looking for wine, make sure to ask for Sue.

Ask yourself this. Who doesn't love Total Wine & More? This store has fascinated me for years since moving to the valley. The selection is amazing and the variety is mind numbing. Plus the prices are very reasonable. So why haven't I reviewed a single store that I've shopped at? It wasn't until I attended one of their in-store classes that I realized how much I appreciate Total Wine. This wasn't a class about wine or beer. It was about the "More" part of their name. A friend who shares my love of gin gifted this experience for my birthday. And it was all about my favorite gin, Hendricks! Total Wine hosted Mark Stoddard who is the US brand embassador for Hendricks Gin. The history of gin and the brand were presented, along with an excellent cocktail named for the brains behind the brand. Lesley Gracie is the master distiller and now I want to visit Scotland to shake her hand! That's besides the point. Total Wine hosted a wonderful event and I wanted to give props to the staff and management who made this class possible. Salud!

Terrible. Fraudulent con artists. Their website is a joke. When you type in any product, they double it or triple it. Beware!!!

3 stars for this visit to Total Wine. This was my favorite store until a couple of days ago when the checker in number 5 decided to be Uber friendly to the two customers before me, but when it came to me and my purchase she wouldn't make way contact she checked the box I brought to the register as if I was was a potential thief and refused to hand me my change directly she set it down on the stand for me to pick up. Don't worry honey my husband who this actually happened two is almost 70 he's never stolen anything and the color of his skin doesn't rub off. Get some training in customer service. He's there every week. Your customers are who allows you to have your job. Next time put my receipt in the bag too! Like everyone else does.

Was discriminated by age and I'm sure race as well, walked in with another gentleman whom I have no idea who he was. Was told she needed his ID, and when I told her I had no idea who he was she then says " bro I seen you walk in with him" very unprofessional and when I tell her to do a better job nicely, they become aggressive saying it's there policy and don't come back then if I didn't like policy. Very unprofessional and staff needs to learn better customer service. Telling a customer not to come back shouldn't ever come out of a managers mouth. "ANNIE" and whoever the manager is both need training asap.

wish I could leave less than one star, I had a TERRIBLE experience here. I NEVER write reviews but I strongly felt compelled to after what i experienced today. I came in with my boyfriend & my friends (who all showed up later on their own). everyone is clearly over 21 if you had asked for IDs, and my boyfriend had to leave the store to take care of something (the employees saw him leave & never asked to check his ID BTW). while I was being rung up, the store manager proceeded to come up to my friends behind me who were checking out, and deny them to purchase their items. He claimed he needed to see my boyfriend's ID, who had left the store, in order to complete their purchases. He said my friends came in with my boyfriend (WRONG. because I entered the store with just me & him and we walked around for 20 minutes waiting for my friends to show up and nobody said anything). My friends ended up leaving without buying anything because the cashiers wouldn't let them. Meanwhile they let me buy my stuff (??? make it make sense. I was the one who originally came in with my bf so at least ask me but they never once did). My friends left with nothing, upset of course. This manager had glasses and seemed to make it his mission to catch us doing something wrong. He followed us from the get go so it was obvious, despite us browsing for half an hour for drinks. They also didn't check IDs when handing out free samples of alcohol. They probably should if they're going to be so uptight about IDs in general.

I came into the store with and old friend, and when it came time to check out my buddy just so happened to forget his wallet in the truck, and both the gentleman and whoever the bosses name was were clearly being prejudice towards him because of his skin tone. While walking out of the store as well we both noticed a mother with her daughter who was clearly underage walking out with multiple bottles of alcohol. I don't ever see myself shopping here again if people are going to be visibly prejudice towards people like that, and to add that I was the one purchasing with a valid ID and whatever the managers name was refused to sell to me and tried accusing my ID as being fake. Great Job total wine, you guys are genuinely terrible

We really like this place. If you like the 99 brand of liqueurs, this is the place to go. They have all the flavors. We couldn't find another Total Wine & More with the selection they have. The employees were really friendly and helpful. We'll be back.

They have just about everything related to alcohol. They should name it something to show that like: all the wine and them some, or, lots of wine and alcohol related products. This is total wine. TOTAL. WINE. -csi opening tune plays- yeaaaaaaah Ok seriously, great shopping experience. Lots of help available. Love it all!

Some of the best deals in the valley while also having some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff that you could even expect. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to give recognition to Michael at this location. Currently visiting from CA, and after a nearly 7 hour drive didn't feel like going out and picking through their beer section so I called in to ask what their freshest IPA was. Michael took the time to go and check for me as I was DoorDashing my order, and even gave me a great local recommendation. Great service, thoroughly appreciated.

It's always nice when you find your favorite whiskey, which you can not buy in good ole Southern CA. Well there was only 1 thing to do, which was BUY THEM OUT!!!
