Toukies Restaurant & Bar

Never really had a bad meal here, and Saturday evening was no different. Was going to have a salad, but mushroom soup was on feature and my bowl was accompanied with a nice warm piece of garlic toast. Lots of mushrooms, good and hot, very tasty. I decided on the liver and onions, with gravy and two nice thick pieces to well cooked bacon. Sides were green beans and buttermilk mashed potatoes. Liver was cooked right for my taste and all in all a good amount for the price. Other dinners were the chicken club and the special sandwich feature roast beef and Swiss on marble rye. Drink refills could have been a bit more regular and fairly quiet even thought it’s quite close to the casino floor. Nice to be able to watch the football game also.

I visited recently and really enjoyed not being greeted for 5 minutes while the Manager on the floor was singing and dancing. When we made eyes with the three clearly not busy servers who were leaning against the wall one of them yelled across the dinning room "YOUR SERVER IS TAKING PAYMENT, SHE WILL BE RIGHT OVER". She then continued her conversation with the others. No need to get us waters or greet us. Amazing team work! That was sad to see, you should do better.

We ordered the beef liver and oven baked pickarel. The vegetables were quite salty, while the fish and the beef liver were bland. The sauces were good, but they don't seem to mix when you eat together with the meat. Presentation of the food were okay. Overall not too good experience.

I felt like my server was trying to rush me and there were empty tables around. I went there to have a leisurely dinner before a show. No refills on coffee or water. Actually I asked for a refill on water and she seemed annoyed. I was finishing my fries which come in a silver container on top of a bigger plate. I wasn’t finished and the server came to take away the bigger plate. I told her I wasn’t done and she said she needed plate because it’s getting busier and they need to wash it. Courtesy would be to wait until I’m done to take anything away, would it not? Bizarre.

Toukie's is very nice place to eat and have some drinks. The food is awsome especially the taco burger! The pizza was awesome too! The bartender Ariah(when she is stationed at the bar) is the best, very beautiful and fast and knows her job very well. She earns her tips very well. Tip her well people! Will I go back to toukie's and the front door bar...for sure, love the food and service and the perfect bartender's.

Had a lovely time out for dinner, however was shocked by how small the menu was and how expensive drinks were! I got a beer and a ceasar at the bar for 20$!!! Despite that our dining experience was still good. The staff were so friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. We ordered nachos and burgers which were super delicious! The nachos were so good and so filling I had to take my burger home! Salad was good as well, I loved the spiralized veggies, it was a nice and tasty touch!

My family from out of town and I were enjoying a night out at the casino. We were greeted by an awesome server last night who gave his 200%. Such positive attitude, he seemed that he loved doing his job to serve people. Too bad we didn't get his name but he was welcoming, friendly, very enthusiastic, and accommodating. They don't have physical menus for the table because of the pandemic, so you'll have to scan a QR code to see what they have or look at the big one on the sign posted outside the restaurant prior to. I mean, a majority of everyone has a phone these days and it's also less work for the people working to have to constantly disinfect each page to wipe down. My husband and I ate at Macca's (McDonald's) prior to since my dad slipped me a chip to get some food while he spent most of the night at the tables. Club Regent was his fave place, we were just along for the ride. Kinda hard to find some of my family playing the VLTs among the sea of Filipinos so we had to grab a bite before trying to find them. My husband and I went splitsies on an apple crumble, and it was hands down the most delicious apple crumble I had in my life. IT WAS DIVINE! The ice cream was super creamy! And everything about it just complemented each other. I'm so having this again for my next birthday! Definitely recommend! My family from out of town was able to order food and the portions were big enough to share. My aunt's hand cut fries were delicious as expected. Taste like any other hand cut fries but served nice and hot. Not overly salted, it was just right. My brother's rack of ribs looked great, I wish I'd ask him for a bite of it. But I'd rather order my own next time! Our server was excellent at his job! It left us a very positive experience in contrast to the negative experience I had several years ago eating at Toukies (prior to all the renovations in Club Regent). That guy is top tier, he makes us want to eat there again! Get that man a raise!

Every single time I dine here. The food is fabulous. Why the reviews are not four to five stars is beyond me. Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner yesterday. My girlfriend's pickerel fish and chips was incredible The fries were lovely and crispy.. My mushroom Swiss burger platter with sweet potato fries and dip was over the top fantabulous 💖 can't wait until next time! Oh let's not forget the service with a smile. So sorry I forgot our wonderful waitress's name. Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience..
