"Family Night at Tournament of Kings Tournament of Kings encompasses all the perfect ingredients for a fun family night out: Action and adventure, horses and knights, cheering and booing, and, best of all, eating dinner with your hands! This medieval-themed arena production has been around for several years, and every night, it's packed with people excited to cheer on a slew of horsemen as they joust, race their horses and battle each other with swords. Everyone is assigned a specific knight to cheer for based on the section you sit in, but the most important thing is that you don't cheer for the bad guys! Tournament of Kings is action packed and fast as performers and their horses move from one stunt to the next. Meanwhile, audience members are treated to a medieval-themed meal -- chicken, bread and other assorted sides -- but they have to eat with their fingers. After all, there was no silverware back in the good ol' days! By AFAR Traveler , AFAR Local Expert"

Dinner and a show with live entertainment is making a comeback in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"Over at the Excalibur, fans can eat tomato soup and Cornish game hen with their hands during Tournament of Kings when it returns on Wednesday, July 14. The show six nights a week brings the tale of King Arthur as knights riding horses joust, ladies in waiting dance, and a fire wizard Mordred brings a dash of drama. Fun fact, since 1990, the show purchased 6.7 million game hens. The show on Monday and Friday at 6 p.m. as well as Wednesday through Thursday and Saturday through Sunday at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. starts at $41.87 online." - Susan Stapleton

Can't beat a dinner and a show! Tournament of Kings was highly entertaining with an easy to follow storyline. Crowd participation is encouraged as knights from different countries engage in feats of strength and skill. Sword fighting, jousting, and horse riding skills are on display as you cheer on the knight from your assigned country. We had a lot of fun. The meal was excellent as well as the service provided. Would highly recommend!

Google
Fantastic medieval fun for the whole family! Our two sons absolutely loved the jousting and special effects. The food, though simple (roasted chicken, potatoes, corn), was surprisingly delicious and perfect for eating "knight-style" without utensils. A truly entertaining dinner show!

Google
Loved it first time ever attending one of these types of dinnerrs and shows. Highly recommend that if you're bringing your kid to vegas, which is wish you people would not, this is a show kids will love. That being said it's just around 1 hour 45 min show and the food is pretty good I suggested u eat it as soon as u get it cause it's made probably within the hour befor the show kinda like if you went to KFC and got a bucket of chiken. Anyways, Dragon seats are the villains, and the louder your group is the most likely your king will win. Enjoy the show, yall!!!

Google
Loved this! I booked it for my husbands birthday as we were in vegas to get married! This is a totally unique experience and we highly recommend it to anyone. This ain’t just for families it’s for all ages! The dinner was also great, I didn’t expect much but was pleasantly surprised 😮 you get a small chicken, potatoes, corn and then you get an apple pastry for afters all of which came lovely and hot! You get a choice of Pepsi or water included or you can buy other drinks if you wish from the bar menu. The horses are beautiful and very well groomed and cared for. The actors were brilliantly entertaining and kept the show going throughout. Great atmosphere here with some chants and table banging and lots to enjoy like a panto with a bad guy! I pre booked this show in advance as it was for a special occasion but you could book on the day and combine with other shows to get them cheaper

Google
What a fun dinner/show! Really big portions of chicken, potatoes and corn accompanied by a roll and apple turnover. Bar service was prompt and attentive throughout the show without being distracting. Show itself was interactive and engaging. Had been once before about 15 years ago and was glad to see it hadn't lost its charm. Go Normandy!

Google
Definitely a fun, entertaining thing to do in Vegas. The performance & performers were fantastic! The plot was fun & it was quite interactive, especially sitting in Dragon where you get to Boo! everyone the whole time & root for the bad guys! The food was good, nothing special but I expected that with how much they make of it. If you haven't ever done something like this, I would recommend it, it's definitely something you should do one time in your like.

Google
We had tons of at the dinner threatre, I lost my voice the next day. It was very interactive we had just as much as the kids. I found the food very bland. So I would recommend walking with some ketchup or some hot sauce.

Google
Such a FANTASTIC experience! Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful! The food was tasty and fun! The show was phenomenal!!! Merlin announcing my grandsons birthday before the show was so fun! Highly recommend this show!

Yelp
For my friend's birthday this year, he requested we attend the Tournament of Kings. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, but nothing could have prepared me for this show's sheer energy and spectacle. I'm not usually one for over-the-top entertainment, but I found myself completely swept up in the action. The jousting, the acrobatics, the music - it was all incredibly impressive. I even found myself raising my glass and yelling "HUZZAH!" along with the crowd. The food was decent (I snuck in some hot sauce packets for my Cornish hen, which definitely improved it!), but the entertainment truly stole the show. If you're looking for a truly unique and exciting night out in Vegas, I highly recommend Tournament of Kings. It's a must-see for anyone visiting the city.

Yelp
Never been to a show like this so I went in with zero expectations. We happened to watch it during Christmas week, so they had a special holiday show with themed songs and costumes. Can I just say that this show has something for everyone, all ages! Eye candy, action, songs and dancing, pyrotechnics, horses!! Loved it all! The food was a Cornish hen, undercooked sweet potatoes (they seemed raw, so I didn't eat), corn on the cob and a bread roll. Cornish hen and corn were good. We sat in the France section, back row by the stairs next to the dragon section. It was perfect! Could see everything! Knocking stars down for the service tho. We did not get any water/cola or whatever the free drink was supposed to be. We waited and waited, but hey we at least got food. Our server was oddly curt too, she gave us the check (my party ordered some alcoholic drinks) while we were still eating she just stood there. My hands are full and greasy from eating the Cornish hen. I asked if she could wait and she said no ! We were the only table she did this to, so weird. And our water glasses were still empty. Le sigh. Despite the service mishaps, I would still suggest going to see this at least once. The performers did an outstanding job!

Yelp
This medieval themed dinner-theater-style experience with beautiful horses and jousting was eventful! This is definitely one of those kid friendly family things to do in Vegas with Merlin giving birthday shoutouts at the beginning of the show. The Excalibur parking garage is a long walk so be sure to accommodate walking time and standing in line time, for about 30min early before show time. Booked the 8:30 showing which started promptly. We arrived early about 8:10 and stood in a long line with others to get in and seated and order some drinks. They've got wine, beer, and speciality cocktails like Merlin's Margarita and Every King's Mojito. I wish they had jazzed up the drinks to be more festive like a sword pick in the lime wedges. Food came out timely with half a corn cob, potatoes, biscuit, and tiny chicken Cornish hen looking bird. Plastic utensils can be requested but it did take forever like 10min. Wet wipe provided for after the meal but def wash your hands before or bring sanitizer before you eat. The tournament had King Knights from each Kingdom you're assigned to that competed in various medieval events like jousting, sword fighting, and hand to hand combat. There also was a villain dragon knight with cool fire pyrotechnics. Overall the ambiance was knight-tastic with costumes, horses, and fighting. While the food may not win any culinary awards as I'm sure this is how it tasted hundreds of years ago, this was an entertaining kid friendly experience. Note: the sound/audio was very loud with a couple explosions and fireworks so do not take a baby here...even we jumped a few times!

Yelp
I have not been here since I was a kid and some things never change. Excalibur itself could use a facelift. It just feels run down with the dark lightning and old decor. The secondhand smoke is super heavy inside. The show itself is downstairs next to the kids arcade area. You are seated in the section that you chose when you made your purchase online. I picked the dragon section for my children and I, since a low of reviewers commented on how rowdy and fun this section tended to be. The servers come around to all us lords and ladies and fill the steins with water or soda. You can pay extra for alcoholic drinks. They come back around with platters of chicken, corn, potatoes, and a bun. It was a little cold and bland but decent otherwise. Could have use a side of butter. When we had finished our dinner, an apple turnover was served. It was also all right. The apple to dough ratio was off and the flakiness factor was not there. The show itself was super entertaining though. It was based on the premise of King Arthur celebrating his son with a tournament. Various knights from different countries compete but Mordred tries to sabotage everything and ends up killing his father. Prince Christopher rises to the challenge and defeats Mordred becoming to next rightful king. The performers were very energetic and interacted with the crowd often. There was a great amount of lights, smoke, and fire. They knew how to work every angle with the pyrotechnics. The kids absolutely loved it. And I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. For the show alone, it's may be worth the $60 depending on your opinions. Don't expect a fancy hotel or Michelin quality food by any means. But you set your expectations right and you will still have a grand time.

Yelp
Wonderful dinner and show for entire family. I remember enjoying this as a child and my children loved the show too. The food consists of a Cornish hen, potatoes, corn, bread, pastry, and soft drinks. The food is somewhat hit and miss in that the hen could be dry or juicy based upon how cooked it is. If with allergies, can request substitutions and we got pasta instead of the hen. The holiday show was pretty entertaining with dancing, singing, and fighting.

Yelp
Went with family members - no kids. We still had a blast, fun and engaging. Food was basic (replicating medieval times after all) - chicken, bread roll, corn, and small potatoes. Comes with water or soda, other drinks cost extra. Photographer comes by, they offer the photos (for a cost) at the end. They get the crowd involved (hear hear!)...if you have kids, they most likely would enjoy it. I had a 2 for 1 coupon and even with that, it was a bit pricey. But fun nonetheless.

Yelp
My husband and I LOVE this show! It's our Thanksgiving tradition to go see the first performance of 'Twas the Knight. It's a perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Last year, we were in Austria, but we knew we wanted to be in Dragon this year. It's SO much fun to sit in the section of the antagonist of the show. The entire cast really seems to love interacting with the audience and the show itself is incredible. It's funny, exciting, beautiful and just so full of talented people and horses. The food is only okay, but you're not there for that. Cornish hen, corn, potatoes and a roll are served that you eat with your hands. No utensils in site! Soft drinks and water are included, but they do serve alcohol and the drinks seemed to be huge (we didn't order any but the people next to us did). There are pyrotechnics that can be super loud at times (think explosions and fireworks) so keep that in mind. I would recommend ear plugs for kids (which I'm pretty sure they supply). I highly recommend buying the professional photos they take to commentate your awesome evening. $40 for 2 photos in a commemorative folder, but I find it to be worth it. Can't wait for next Thanksgiving!! We will be returning to the kingdom of Dragon every year!

Yelp
We hadn't seen a show like this in Las Vegas or Orlando in probably over a decade or two when our kids were small so we decided to check it out. The overall dinner and show were great. I notice you can just attend the show without dinner, but the roasted chicken, potatoes, roll, corn on cobb, and dessert were all great. They do have an additional drink menu you can order from if you want more than the water and soda that comes with your dinner. The show definately has evolved over the years since we last remember. The knight event competitions are pretty exciting. In addition, the storyline and good versus evil fight was great. Things that I don't remember from previous shows long ago was the dancers, use of amazing pyrotechnics, and use of other special effects (e.g, flames, fog, lights, etc.). The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The view from all seats are good since they use the entire arena. Next time we plan on dressing up for the period of time and getting a seat in different area a new perspective of the show (probably on arena end in Spain or Austria). Overall, we had a great experience cheering on our Knight and King of Ireland!

Yelp
It was entertaining! As if you are in a movie but it's live! I enjoyed it a lot! Together with a friend. They got the menu already packaged on your convenience it's a whole chicken with potato droplets and the bread, i might say it will be best if there's a butter with it. And oh! I loved the apple pie after the feast food, they also give you refills on your drink ( water/soft drinks only). It's pure fun and entertainment!

Yelp
Atmosphere was great! Kids really enjoyed the show. Fireworks are a little loud for younger ones. The food was ok. Corn was over cooked, potatoes needed seasoning. Chicken was good. Wish they had lemonade and ice tea for drinks. Your choices are soda or water or alcohol.
google avatar

Melody N.

Yelp
This was my first time for this type of show. I think if you are a big fan of medieval themed things, this place was pretty fun. There is a lot of crowd involvement and cheering. Food was okay: cornish game hen, dinner roll, potatoes, and corn. The breast was dry but the thighs were tasty. It also comes with choice of water, soda(pepsi or sprite). Other drinks are an additional cost. My kids are around 7 and 8 and the loud noises(fire, fireworks type sound, loud villain sounds) were a lot for them. It might also have to do where we were sitting as we were seated closer to the "castle" stage part. So I think an older age group or if your kids like loud pyrotechnics this is a good one.

Yelp
Tournament of Kings at Excalibur Review I took my kids to the Tournament of Kings, and they had an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we entered the arena, the excitement was contagious. The show is action-packed, with knights battling on horseback, thrilling stunts, and plenty of fire effects to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. My kids couldn't stop cheering for our knight, and they loved being part of the action. As for the food, the experience of eating with your hands is a fun touch that adds to the medieval theme. However, I ordered the vegetarian meal, and I was a bit disappointed. It lacked flavor and didn't feel as thoughtfully prepared as the rest of the experience. My kids, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed their meals and didn't leave a crumb behind! Overall, the show was unforgettable, and seeing how much fun my kids had made it all worth it. I'd recommend it for families looking for a unique night out--just don't expect too much from the vegetarian option.

Yelp
The tournament of kings show is really all about the show. The atmosphere upon arrival was of an old school show, an European medieval jousting tournament. It's an entertaining show all in all as you cheer for your side of a jouster depending on where in the arena you are. The food was average at best, but the service staff and atmosphere were great. They were attentive and even allowed our group to take photos after the show. The cast and people involved really made the show and place what it is and kudos to them. Interactivity is awesome as they regularly hype the crowd and get participation. All in all you would go there for the great show, the food really is just subpar compared to that and the interactivity is awesome. I recommend this show to anyone who loves interactivity and if cheering for a medieval jouster excites you!

Yelp
On my seventh trip to Vegas I finally made it to see the tournament of kings show inside the Excalibur. Wow this what a great show. From the moment you walk in and sit down til you get up and leave you will have fun. We got to see the Christmas version of the show "twas the knight before Christmas". I had a great time drinking, eating and cheering on the performance! I would definitely recommend this for everyone and for all ages. The food came out about twenty minutes into the show and they gave us sweet potatoes, bread and a Cornish hen. No utensils you have to eat with your hands. Totally barbaric in here! Love it. For dessert they gave us a roll filled with pumpkin and it was ok. Two thumbs up from me!!!
google avatar

Meya B.

Yelp
The show here really is special. The actors and horses are so talented !! The only reason I give 4 stars is the food is pretty bad. The chicken breast is okay but everything else I don't want to eat . The show is awesome and the chicken breast really is the star anyways so I'd gladly return!
google avatar

Marjorie H.

Yelp
The show was incredibly entertaining from start to finish. The actors are all amazing, and I love the horses. Dinner was very good, and we definitely didn't leave hungry! Be sure to check out this show next time you are in town.

Ella T.

Yelp
I highly recommend this show for all ages! I remember coming here as a kid and finally came back to it as an adult and was very impressed. The show is entertaining and interactive, it has everyone cheering and booing along for the country they're seated in. The food was actually really good, we had Cornish game hens, potatoes, a bread roll, and corn on the cob. A beverage of either water, coke, or sprite is also included. We did get a few alcoholic beverages but those aren't included. Overall, we had a great time.
google avatar

Alan D.

Yelp
I always go to at least one show when I am at Vegas and this time it was the Tournament of Kings. My party say in the "Dragon" section and boy was it a lot of fun. It is very interactive, with you cheering for your "king". Our section was the best and the loudest, and I felt the camaraderie amongst my section. I won't spoil the show too much, but it was a lot of fun to experience. Miami Vice: Similar to a Lava Flow, a Pina Colada with strawberry puree. They were very liberal with the alcohol and it was still fruity and delicious. A nice little addition to my meal. ToK Meal: Consists of corn on the cob, potatoes, bread and a Cornish Game Hen. All of it was pretty filling for a meal. The star was the Hen and it was roasted perfectly for me. Though there were small bones that were annoying, I throughly enjoyed the meal. The corn and potatoes were also cooked well and the bread was just bread. Overall, had a great time here and looking forward to many more shows next time at Vegas. I recommend this show for anyone, as long as you enjoy cheering and being interactive.
google avatar

Yelp
The Tournament Of Kings is located on the floor arcade level of the Excalibur Hotel. The show far exceeded expectations. The cast are all interactive with the audience which helps get everyone engaged. Food- Roasted Cornish hen, potatoes, corn, bread, and baked apple pie for dessert.. Drinks are complimentary and you get free refills. You can purchase alcohol. The staff all did a wonderful job getting the meals out, refilling drinks, and taking plates. The pyrotechnics are absolutely amazing with flame throwers and explosives. All in all , this was a lot of fun. We both enjoyed the energy of the actors and had fun supporting our Knight.
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
This is place for the whole family, groups or just to have a mom and daughter night together. Their main menu is a Cornish hen, small potatoes, corn on the cob and a mini bread loaf. The Cornish hen and potatoes were cooked to perfection and so much fun to pull apart with your hands. The corn on the cob tasted and looked old. I will suggest you order 2 drinks from the bar ahead of time because trying to get another drink once the show starts it's going to be difficult to get the sprites server attention. If you are a vegetarian/vegan/kids menu you do need to call ahead so their food is ready for them once you get settled in for the show. Show and a meal one price can't bet that.
google avatar

KevinCindy M.

Yelp
I have heard of this show with a meal that is fit for a king and was a little skeptical, but boy was I wrong. The show was amazing and kept my 4 year old grandson in an entertaining trance. The food was delicious and was worth the price its self. It comes with a cornish hen, potatoes, corn, a bread and apple dessert. Took all I could to finish. But beware you are eating it with your hands as though you're sitting at the kings table with King Arthur himself. If you have diet restrictions no worries you just email four hours in advance as my wife did and ask for the vegetarian plate with had pasta in a marinara sauce, potatoes, corn, bread, And yes they will give you dining utensils for that plate. My grandson opted for the kids plate of chicken nuggets and fries. All plates come with standard drink and free refills but the alcohol is extra. All in all it was an amazing time and food well worth the money and gave us a new wholesome experience.
google avatar

Janell M.

Yelp
If you are looking for something different to do but is fun, this is definitely something to check out. We brought the kids here, but honestly it's fun for all ages with or without kids. The food is suppose to be just like in medieval time so chicken is seasoned just basic so I recommend taking a little bbq sauce or whatever you need some additional flavor. We didn't and still enjoyed it though. They also don't give you utensils so you just have to go into savage mode. The husband and kids loved that part lol. I would say it is worth checking out. If you pay for a kids ticket just know that you will receive a kids plate so they will not have the chicken with the potatoes and corn and roll instead they will get chicken strips and fries.
google avatar

Roxy W.

Yelp
My family had an amazing time at this dinner show. The show is around an hour and 15 minutes. They serve you food within the first 15 minutes. Alcoholic drinks are extra cost. The performers were great. I love how interactive they were with the crowd. I enjoyed the music and dancing. The food was decent as well. We ate bread, corn on the cob, potatoes and Cornish hen. The hen was tasty and the meat was moist. The corn was good as well. One less star for the craziness when you first tried to check in. The line was past the escalator and snaked around the arcade. You didn't even know where the line ended. I recommend going around 5:45pm. The crazy line dissipated once the doors opened at 5:30pm
google avatar

Kinga B.

Yelp
I rated this experience solely on entertainment value rather than food. I absolutely loved the story line, the horses and special effects. Super fun! Must do at least once. Food on the other hand is barely edible . The Cornish hen was dry as a bone and flavorless. Sweet potatoes were ok. The Apple pie dessert was horrid . Don't go for the food because you'll be disappointed. I would go again for the entertainment part.
google avatar

Felicity C.

Yelp
Definitely a good entertainment for kids, especially boys. Or if you experience depression, book this show and scream all your stress out. A bit short and out of the story lines. But it's a real steal with local discount to get the show and dinner.

Yelp
Honestly, I thought the Tournament of Kings was just going to be a meal of mediocre food and a ridiculous show. I won the tickets so there was no reason not to give it a shot. I couldn't have been more wrong. The tickets are marked with your "country". We were Norway. This is important because it determines where you sit and most importantly, who you cheer for. We weren't seated more than 5 minutes before we were greeted and offered water, tea and soda. The cups were big to begin with and the refills kept coming. In the meantime, a jester came out to entertain the crowd and mainly to teach us how to cheer and jeer. To be truthful, the younger kids were a lot more into it than those over 20 but as the evening went on, even us uhm, over 60ish people really got into it too. This is your time to dork out!! As the wizard and the king began the show with soliloquy's s, the crowd was served a plate consisting of a Cornish hen, a few boiled potatoes, half an ear of corn and a roll. Maybe it wasn't fun for everyone (like the guy next to me) but you eat with your hands - just like the knights would have back then. It's a little messy - don't wear your best clothes tonight. I admit, I'm a little weird about meat but eating the hen was not much different than cleaning a Costco chicken. And it was delicious. The rest of the meal was pretty meh. While we ate, the tournament began. The knights came galloping out on strong, beautiful horses. And ladies, the knights were pretty strong and beautiful too! The knights interacted with the crowd as each tried to win the king's tournament. I don't remember who won, not Norway's knight, but it was quite a spectacle with all of the racing horses, strong knights (I think I may have already mentioned beautiful) and the crowds cheering at the top of their voices. The evening was so much fun! If we're back in Vegas, I'll be back (even if I have to buy my tickets)!

Yelp
What a time! I've never seen this show before, and I was pleasantly surprised how amazing it was. From the food to the friendly staff to the exhilarating show this is a must see! I honestly wish it was longer, it was that good. The cast did an amazing job. I truly felt like I was back in the Renaissance era. I even loved that we ate with our hands lol. Also the food was delicious! This is great for all ages. I honestly cannot wait to go back. This is definitely going to be on a monthly rotation for me. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Hazzahhhh!!! I FINALLY experienced Tournament of Kings and I'm so glad it finally happened after yearsssss of being a local here in Vegas. My sister in laws friends all wanted to go, and we decided to even rent a party bus and dress in the theme! Such a random Saturday night, but it was honestly SO much fun! We arrived and were easily able to find our seats. It's basically stadium seating where you are part of a certain kingdom. We were Norway, which was super fun, considering my husband decided to dress in a Vikings costume for the show haha. The show in itself is super entertaining, and they give you a meal that you eat with your HANDS! Literally, no utensils are available, so get ready to eat just like they did back in the day. They give you chicken, potatoes, corn and bread. The food itself was eh, but honestly, who cares. It's all part of the experience! You also get a nonalcoholic drink included with your meal, but of course we all ordered drinks, too. I got a G&T and the drink was HUGE! I was pleasantly surprised. Our group also got a bucket of beer, too. The show itself is SO entertaining. It's literally battle after battle of each kingdom, from jousting to sword fights... it really is super entertaining! We had such a fun time hooting and hollering in our seats! I believe we also got a nice locals discount for the tickets, too, so if you're local, highly recommend. There are some loud bangs and flashes of light here and there that definitely surprised me, but it honestly is such a great show. I would definitely recommend this experience. It was so much fun!

Yelp
Great Show! My Husband, Me and our 3 kids (ages 17,9,3) loved it! the food was good, ambiance took us right back to medieval times! Definitely a great family experience while in Las Vegas

Yelp
We got there right as the show was beginning and couldn't find our seats. No staff helped. Bad food. Bad acting. Horses are treated as objects.

Angela F.

Yelp
Wow! This show was a lot better than I had expected it to be. There was a lot more action than I thought there would be. We sat in the "Dragon" section, and it was really fun to cheer for the bad guy. All of the kings did great in their acting, fighting, riding, etc. All of the "extras" (like the maidens, etc) also did a good job at setting the mood. I thought the meal was very good also: Cornish game hen, corn, potatoes, and a roll, as well as an apple turnover for dessert. My kid didn't eat anything (no surprise there). If I was more on top of it, I would have requested a kids meal in advance. Alas, I couldn't get through on the phone with enough time to request it day-of. I strongly recommend this if you're coming to Vegas with your kid(s), but would even be fun for a group of grownups who don't want to do all the "drunk" stuff Vegas has to offer. This was good, clean, honest fun.

Not worth it. Food is dry and hard to swallow . Poor horses seem as if they pull away from the handlers . They are obviously not handled nicely. They DO NOT celebrate the horses . Fat middle aged men larping. You are forced to participate and if you don't man calls you out.

Yelp
Aurgh, the food was just beyond terrible and not edible. Service was non-existent. I couldn't ask for a vegetarian or kosher meal since our server was just dropping off plates of chicken and would run off before you can ask them anything else. The show was kind of like when you see a bad comedian, and they just try to get you to cheer for your own city. It was a lot of that. It was an interactive for the kids at all, and the storyline and games didn't make sense. $19 discount for locals, but you have to buy tickets at the box office in person which is only open after 4 PM. Even with the locals discount it came out to $66 a person, with no discount for kids even though they were five and six years old. To be honest, the kids enjoyed the arcade outside more than they enjoyed the show and dinner.

Yelp
Show and food was amazing until the end. I ordered two cocktail drinks for 21 a pop. Gave the server 100 dollar cash. He took it upon himself to tip himself and gave me back the incorrect change. Shame on you. Thought I wasn't gonna catch that was I? We sat in the Hungary section. I hope he doesn't do this to other tourists.

Yelp
Man, what a fun show! I don't think I can even watch the joust at my local ren faire again because this blew it out of the water. The service was excellent. I had misunderstood the directions on how to get dietary-specific food, but my waiter was very kind and was able to make it right. The one kind of downfall is that I would NOT reccomend this show to anyone who suffers PTSD and can be triggered by random gunshot-like noises as they use fireworks several times throughout the show. Other than that, super fun. Dragon knight if you see this hit me up ;-)

Yelp
Cool atmosphere as you check in. This is just simply a fun old-school show, that really takes you back to the 90s "family friendly" Vegas, before EDM and clubs took over. The casino still pretty grimy, there is still smoke in the air. The property is dated, carpet is caked with dirt and dust. But this is not what you are here for. We spent some time in the surrounding video arcade, which was pretty nice, although notably cramped. The show itself was campy, charming, and simply fun in its innocence. We went with the kids, who enjoyed the show with such enthusiasm, it makes me think that experiences like this are just universal. Food could've been better, but you aren't here for food. Service was punctual, almost robotic and highly efficient. You ate and had plates cleared before the final third act even started. The overall middling story deal with the knights of the round table battling a dark wizard, who brings his own champion to their tournament. The horseplay and dancing, and overall sense of "revelry" goes a long way. Just looking around, I believe at least 25 to 30% of the crowd was fairly well inebriated before the start of the show, but by the end of the show hundred percent were rowdy and excitable. The cast also spent extra time acknowledging peoples' birthdays and special occasions, and taking pictures with them afterwards. Overall, highly professional production, Vegas at its weird best, although reminiscent of a bygone era. Kids, experience this show before this also closes one day soon and we all mourn.

Yelp
This show was amazing! The cast did an incredible job making it fun and immersive! It helped get into the show more to have a simple meal to eat with our hands! I appreciated that they still provided tankards of soft drink to go with our Cornish game hen lol. The special effects were extremely impressive and the horses were so well trained and obviously cared for! I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
This was a really fun show with men riding on horses and women dancing like the medieval times. We cheered for France and our section won! It was really great atmosphere and very lively. I appreciate how they kept refilling the non alcoholic drinks. It was 100 degrees outside so I got Diet Pepsi even though I don't normally drink soda. I drank like around 3 mugs of it out of thirst. We ate the dinner with our hands, which had a hen, 3 pieces of potatoes, corn, bread, and apple pie. I couldn't eat 2 pieces of potatoes and the bread after drinking so much soda. They need to add salt and seasoning to the hen cause it tasted plain even eating the skin, but I still finished it. The apple pie and corn were really yummy. The show itself was fantastic since we had front row seats. My friend who booked it said it didn't cost extra for it. We should've bought it directly through the Excalibur website though, cause Vegas.com charged more. We felt the heat from the special effects of the fire and the show itself is exciting even though you can tell that the fighting is staged. I docked 1 star cause the hen/chicken should've tasted better for the cost $83.65 (Labor Day weekend on Friday night) through Vegas.com. Book it through this website instead to save a few dollars. https://excalibur.mgmresorts.com/en/entertainment.html

Yelp
Fun, interactive group of performers! Great for kids too! Food was good, and served hot.

Yelp
I had never come here before despite going to Vegas before. It was mostly about the entertainment and not the food. The food itself is fairly plain, drinks are given in plentiful, and the show is fun to watch. I don't know that I'd go again, but it was a fun thing to do.

Yelp
Looking for a kid friendly show and dinner while you stay in Vegas? You've found it. Affordable dinner and a show event for the whole family, the normal meal is a Cornish hen, think "small whole chicken", a small buttered corn on the cob, roasted potatoes, and a dinner roll, dessert is a apple pastry, and fountain soda is included in the cost. you're supposed to eat it with just your hands, be sure to come with cleaned hands. The restroom is in the arcade (where you enter the arena, only one way in and one way out). The reason for knocking off a star is because I didn't know you needed to call ahead to ask for a kids meal option or even a special dietary meal option. When purchasing tickets there's no indicator that you need to call ahead for the request. that really needs to be updated for every site used to book tickets that calling ahead for meal options is necessary. I was very thankful that our waitress was very kind to ask the kitchen if my toddler could get the kids meal option and he was able to. People definitely come here for the show, if you've been to medieval times before elsewhere, this show is a similar concept of having a different person to root for in a jousting style competition. I won't spoil the show but I'll say that kids and adults alike will enjoy this! I would consider this to be a yearly thing as a family when in Vegas.

Yelp
My family and I decided to go see the Tournament of Kings for Christmas. It was so much fun. Food was not bad a lot of people said eat before. I would recommend this show to anyone. At the end of the show it snowed. So fun!

Yelp
I have been going to Medieval Times since my teen years. But with the strike, I've opted to not visit. Having heard rave reviews from family members, I decided to give this show a try. Located in Excalibur, after you enter hotel, you go downstairs and cut through a kid's arcade. We had great seats, ringside of the arena. Waiter brought drinks quickly, well before the show started. So why 3? Food was worse than I expected. I mean, I know you eat with your hands some Cornish hen, corn and potato, but the hen was greasy and dry at the same time, while the corn and potato were unseasoned and dry. So I did not eat much. Note: Its a long way through the arcade if you need to use the bathroom. Show Merlin was a fun addition and even dragged us into the show a bit. But I found the microphones were at times difficult to hear, so I would miss what was happening. Also, I felt the stunts were not as impressive as Medieval Times. The dance numbers were new. And I can't complain that the men had less clothes than the women. Ha. This show had more pyrotechnics than Medieval, so that was a plus. Overall, if looking for a show you can take the kids, this works, but needs some creative thinkers to distinguish it from Medieval Times.

Yelp
Went to the tournament of kings Xmas special show last night at the Excalibur hotel. Overall a fun experience. As other reviews had mentioned the food is very bland and badly needs some salt. Knowing this I took a couple packets of salt with me. Made it much better. We sat in the dragon section which is basically the "bad" guy. A lot of fun. Some good pyro and firework effects. Differently recommended the show if you've never seen it.

Yelp
Avoid at all costs. After fees we all paid around $80 per person to go. The first part of the show is more like a musical, but it was really hard to understand what they were saying. This was the Walmart version of medieval times. The food was horrible. The driest meat I've ever had, the corn went bad days ago, the roll had no butter, no flavor or salt. Our drinks were absolutely foul. How you mess up a vodka lemonade that badly is wild. Wish we never came. Please save your money! This place is not cheap! We would have had much more fun in the arcade for half the cost!

Yelp
Love how the characters interact with all of us, especially Merlin " the wizard" ‍ the food was very fulfilling... I really like the Hen it was really good. But the complete entertainment was amazing. I don't normally participate when it comes to entertainment in Vegas. I normally just sit and watch. but this makes everybody all hype up I like it!!! Kids are very welcome!!! I would come here again!!! I did sit in France

Yelp
A pretty entertaining show. The meal came with chicken, potatoes, bread, and apple pie. No utensils, but I brought my own gloves so that my hands don't get messy. We had a good time with our group!

Yelp
We had a good time at this show. Lots of action and suspense while enjoying a nice little meal. We sat in Romania, Row A, seats 6, 7, & 8. I would recommend anything in that area. We were close enough you could feel the heat during special effects. That was pretty cool. I paid about $80 each for those seats. That's a great deal for dinner and a show. The only thing I noticed was the guy taking our orders was rude. I think he was annoyed to refill our soft drinks as there's surely more money in waiting on drinking customers. The show went well and was fun and interactive. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good show on a budget. I only gave 4 stars because of the service, and let's face it, no matter how good this show is it's no Cirque Du Soleil.
