A visit to Tous Les Jours a restaurant in Paris, is a culinary delight. With a wide selection of authentically French pastries and dishes, you'll find exactly what you're craving. The Croissant stands out as particularly remarkable. Each warm, lightly crisp and buttery bite melts in the mouth like a delicate beauty. It's no wonder why the Croissant is among the restaurant’s most popular menu items. The atmosphere at Tous Les Jours is just as wonderful as the food. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the décor is contemporary and thoughtful. Diners can enjoy their meals in comfort and appreciate the ambiance with its cozy setting and beautiful sights of the cityscape.

This place is my absolute go-to for desserts! They serve one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I’m also a huge fan of their chocolate cream donuts, though they’ve been sold out the last few times I visited (hopefully they restock them more often!). Their milk cream cake is another standout — light, moist, and full of flavor. Whether it’s a casual dessert craving or a special occasion, this spot never disappoints. It’s also become my default choice for birthday cakes for friends — always a hit!

Google
Cakes are very good but too creamy and not much of the cake itself which makes it feel imbalanced when trying to enjoy the creamy part with a bid of the solid cake taste! It can be very crowded so be aware if that. If you are looking for A quiet place to relax the Chinatown branch is definitely not the one you’re looking for 😉

Google
Beautiful and modern and very busy bc the dessert and coffee and bread and drinks are yummy and pretty! Right in the heart of Chinatown on the first level. Artistic and well done desserts and it’s very clean here.

Cakes are great—I just wish people were a bit kinder. One of my friends ordered a lavender latte, which turned out to be much sweeter than the ones she’s had at other coffee shops. She kindly asked if they could replace it, but they responded rather rudely, saying she had already paid for it.

Google
Quite pricey so only go on special occasions. It’s always very crowded and can be challenging to find a seat. The place is really nice tho, and the baked goods are great. I had a matcha croissant and it can be bitter if you’re not used to the taste of matcha, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something really sweet. I like my desserts not too sweet so it was perfect for me, if you’re like that too and also enjoy matcha I would highly recommend it. Other than that my friend had this thing with berries and cream on it and that was really good, but a bit too sweet for me. I can’t wait to visit this bakery again, it had a lot of other things that picked my interest that I would love to try.

Craving a sweet, headed to China town! The milk cream bread hit the spot! Quick service. We were there near closing, so selection was pretty spars. But the banana soft and milk soft bread were just what we needed! Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time! Explore everything!

Google
I’m here for cakes and bakeries. My all time favorite is mocha cream bread. However, they change their recipe, instead of mocha cream filling, they just use regular white cream. Pretty upset with the changes. But overall, cake is pretty and decent.

Wide Range of Pastries in Chinatown – Tous Les Jours is A Must-Visit for Dessert Lovers! Food: Tous Les Jours is a paradise for pastry enthusiasts, and this bakery is a hidden gem that truly stands out. Their selection is vast, ranging from traditional Chinese pastries like egg tarts and pineapple buns to fusion-inspired creations that cater to modern tastes. After a savory and spicy lunch at a nearby restaurant, their sweet treats were the perfect way to balance the meal. The cream bread is a must-try – imagine pillowy-soft bread filled with a rich, velvety cream that’s neither too sweet nor too heavy. Every bite feels indulgent yet satisfying. The pastries are freshly baked throughout the day, so you’re always guaranteed something warm and delicious. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or eager to try something new, this bakery has something to delight every palate. Ambience: The bakery strikes the perfect balance between cozy and functional. It’s not overly large, but there’s enough seating to comfortably enjoy your treats. The decor is simple yet thoughtful, with subtle cultural touches and warm lighting that create a welcoming vibe. It’s an ideal spot to relax with a cup of coffee or tea while savoring your pastries. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack on the go or settling in for a leisurely break, the ambiance makes it a pleasant and memorable experience. Price: One of the best things about this bakery is its affordability. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. For example, their cream bread and egg tarts are priced lower than what you’d find at high-end bakeries downtown, yet the taste and freshness are on par (if not better). You can easily fill a box with an assortment of pastries without worrying about overspending. Compared to other bakeries in Chinatown, this place offers exceptional value for money, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Parking: Parking in Chinatown can be tricky, but this bakery is conveniently located near affordable paid parking options. Rates are significantly lower than downtown, and there are usually spots available within a short walking distance. If you’re relying on public transportation, it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the Red Line station and several bus stops, making it an accessible destination for everyone. Pro tip: If you’re visiting on a weekend, try to arrive early to avoid the midday rush. Overall Experience: This bakery is a must-visit for anyone exploring Chinatown. The combination of a wide variety of high-quality pastries, a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re a local looking for your next go-to spot or a tourist eager to experience the best of Chinatown’s dessert scene, this bakery won’t disappoint. Highly recommended for dessert lovers and anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience.

Yelp
I always enjoy stopping by Tous les Jours--it's such a calming space with a great variety of baked goods and drinks. Their lavender honey matcha latte is smooth and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, which I love. I tried their macarons, and they were so good--light, delicate, and full of flavor. Also obsessed with their curry croquette--crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful inside. It's savory, satisfying, and makes a perfect snack or quick lunch bite. I am biased to the pistachio flavored one! Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to, whether it's to grab something to-go or sit for a bit with a latte and a pastry.

Yelp
We stopped in on a very busy Sunday while visiting Chinatown. This is conveniently located in the pedestrian mall and was very packed. We liked the presentation and had some delicious pastry items, and some refreshing strawberry lemonade. I understand this is a chain. Overall we had a nice visit but I would caution anyone with claustrophobia to try to avoid the busy weekends! The place was jammed in the middle of the afternoon!
google avatar

Thanh T.

Yelp
It's fine. Not a fan of the cheesecake either. They were closing in the last hour so cleanup relegates everyone to dine in front area. This is an overpriced, hyped up chain, right?
google avatar

karina k.

Yelp
Beautiful and modern and very busy bc the dessert and coffee and bread and drinks are yummy and pretty! Right in the heart of new Chinatown on the first level. Artistic and well done desserts and it's very clean here. But cakes for any occasion and the taste is amazing and light. You use tongs to add items to your tray and then pay it to the cashier at the end. You can sit and dine w your coffee and bread or dessert inside or take out. You also have a bathroom you can use for free. Comfortable and nice seating. It's clean inside.

Yelp
Bought a few treats and had tea with a colleague. Cute space with lots of kids doing college homework. Nice addition to the neighborhood

Yelp
--Location/Parking-- Located in a strip mall inside Chinatown. Since I took the L train to get there. I am unsure on the parking situation, but there was plenty of foot traffic. --Ambiance-- Bakery was full of pastries where it was difficult just to walk by one another because the row are super tight, but there was a lot of choice in pastries. There was seating in the rear if you want to sit and relax and enjoy your food. --Service/Staff-- The staff are friendly and quickly checked you out or placed your coffee order. Without the staff, the place can turn quickly into chaos. --Food/Products-- Huge range of pastries you would normally find at an Asian bakery. I thought this chain was exclusive to Chicago but surprised to find it here in Atlanta. --Capacity-- I remember plenty of seats in the rear, but rows to look at pastries and order were narrow and thin. --Overall-- Recommended if you are in the area for Asian pastries, but the space is packed and limited.

Yelp
We had hot Ube Lattes with Oat Milk substitutions. We enjoyed them. It's unfortunate that there is an up-charge for non-dairy alternatives; it's $1.50 extra which is steep for the up-charge compared to many cafes. You don't find Ube everywhere, so this was definitely a treat, but I don't see myself returning due to the non-dairy up-charge.

Yelp
The place is cute and modern. It was quiet for middle of the day and on a Monday. Lots of variety and choices to choose from. I placed an order for a cake. I liked that there are different sizes. However each location offers different size cakes. This place did not offer the 6", so I ordered the 7" Mango cake. The cake was good and the cream had a sweet mango taste. However disappointed at the lack of mango in the cake. Although it was good the lack of mango was worth the price.

Yelp

Yelp
Bakery right in the middle of Chinatown with a lot of pastry options. It's hard to just pick out a few when there's so many options! We ended up getting the apple and cream cheese puff, honey toast, choux pastry and an almond pastry puff. We enjoyed everything and it was not overwhelmingly sweet.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to study here while we were in the area and were pleasantly satisfied. Although I did not get any pictures of the entire seating area, it was a decent place to study. It can get a little loud since it can get crowded and busy, but it is not unbearable. The drinks were enjoyable and very flavorful. We did not get any bread or pastries since we were going to eat dinner after this, but they all looked amazing and many caught our eye. One important thing to mention: we tried getting into the wifi using the code on the receipt but it was not working so be prepared to use your hotspot. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice drink, a sweet treat, and a yap session. But if you're looking to have a focused study session you might have a difficult time doing so here.

Yelp
A friend took me here for the first time a few weeks ago and I cannot believe I haven't been here before. This may be the best bakery in all of Chicago. I got the croissant, a curry croquette and some sort of mushroom onion slice and every single thing was amazing!! The new location on Taylor was very cute and vibrant. Bunch of tables and good lighting! Could totally work from here too.
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
Tried the coffee delight cake from Tous Les Jours -- it was okay. Very soft texture, which was nice, but a bit on the pricier side at $9. The real highlight was the butter pecan latte at $6, it was delicious and worth going back for!
google avatar

Belkys C.

Yelp
OMG this place!!!!! have the best flat croissant I have ever tasted! the place is cute and at very entrance of the chinatown market, is a mall bakery that offers pastries and coffee, I recommend the Tiramisu cold late so yummy. It is pricey $$ but worth it. I will come back and try something different. The staff were not very approachable ........ kinda 2 Asian rude males behind the counter. To use the bathroom you will need a code provided in the receipt when you pay for your order other wise you will not be allowed to use.
google avatar

Inna Y.

Yelp
Had a vanilla latte -- okay for the price, average-tasting I wanted to comment, however, because of this male cashier who was very rude to me. He was curt when I ordered which I didn't mind because I get that everyone has his days. But when I asked for the bathroom code, he told me very rudely and loudly that the code was on the receipt. I asked him if he could just give me the code since I threw the receipt already and I just ordered minutes ago. He mumbled something then proceeded to give me the code. I did not get his name nor was I interested in it because I didn't want to drag anyone. Will not come back.

Yelp
We stopped in on a Monday afternoon. The place was very busy but things were moving relatively quickly. We did picked our treats, checked out, and found a cute seat by the window for our big group. I had an almond croissant. Delicious!
google avatar

Ashley K.

Yelp
Randomly came across this place while wondering around Chinatown. They have so many unique food items in here. I decided to opt for the mango donut & custard bun. The flavor on the mango donut tastes just like a fresh mango. It doesn't taste artificial at all. The custard bun had a lovely sweet taste to it. You can definitely tell these items are made often with quality ingredients & tons of mastery behind them. They had so many different flavors that next time I will definitely be trying more. Overall it was a great experience between looking at what they all had, the quick service at checkout, and the taste of the food. If you want a unique sweet treat definitely stop in.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
We grabbed everything to go, as we wanted to explore Chinatown more. You literally can't go wrong with any option you choose. We had to reach a point to slow ourselves down or else we would have purchased the whole store. 10/10 on whatever you decide to eat, there are no bad choices!
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
So happy I was able to try this place out! Great selection of Bakery products ranging from sweet to savory. I took to go and everything was still soft and fresh the day after. It's self serve where you pick out what you want to get. There is also seating as well if you wanted to eat there as well as have a cup of coffee or tea. Recommend checking out this lovely little bakery!
google avatar

Brad C.

Yelp
Good - drinks - ambiance. Highly recommend-try everything once, especially the cakes as you first enter the cafe
google avatar

Yelp
Well well well you guys did it again. Phenomenal. I got the milk bread, just unreal. Like something I've never had before but now I can't live without. The mocha frappachino hunny? TO DIE FOR. And mama? Those chocolate and hazelnut croissants will have you on ur knees begging for more daddy!! I just can't with yall, idk how you do it 10/10 every time. Yelp
We have been to Tour Les Jour in Las Vegas city and like the bakery a lot. Therefore stopping by at this Tour Les Jours bakery when we saw it while walking around was a no-brainer. I was looking for the custard fill bread, however it was sold out since it was around 9 pm when we stopped by here last night. We did brought other breads to eat. They were good. The red beans filled bread has the perfect amount of beans and sweetness inside. The cream filled bread has a fluffy and airy texture. The checkout area has no line when we were here. The checkout process was quick.
google avatar

Isha T.

Yelp
Crowded. I took ToGo. Thid place has freshly baked items. Pastries. They are tasty. I even took crossiant. Thry have iced tea, breads, etc. Thr only thing I feel id it is so crowded, they can expand and make space for peoppe to sit and eat else all good. You can aleays take a Togo like I always do

Yelp
I love coming to this bakery during my trips to Chicago. I normally stay near china town and love visiting here for coffee early in the morning. The fresh pastries are great for breakfast, many of which are Asian inspired. The guava pastry is a favorite! I also like that it's easy to grab something quick to go, or stay and enjoy my coffee if there's time. I'll keep coming back!
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
This Tous Les Jours location is great! They had a steady busy stream of customers and they had a huge variety of breads, pastries, decorated cakes, savories and super fresh coffee! Service was fast and friendly. Shop was kept clean and easy to navigate. They had plenty of places to sit in the back to relax and enjoy your drinks too!
google avatar

Chelsey V.

Yelp
The atmosphere is amazing, all the goodies right up front, sanitary rings and platters to but your goodies into and take to the register. So many options and lots of cakes and drink options! Would definitely get a cake here for any occasion. The kimchi croquette and bulgogi sausage rolls were the top picks for savory but nothing compared to the mango cream filled sugar donut. Fresh mango, delicate mango cream and the donut was chewy and sweet with the sugar rub. Could have eaten 15 more! Will definitely come back when we visit Chicago again
google avatar

Lan N.

Yelp
Sometimes it can be super busy in here and other times you're also in and out. It had a little bit of traffic at the time I stopped in, but everything was pretty well stocked. They actually had the mango donut I've been looking for to try. The other locations I've been to didn't have them or might have sold out by the time I got there. The mango donut was okay. The outer sugar coating is nice because their desserts aren't too sweet. The mango cream filling was a miss for me. I felt like there were too much mango extract and it low key tasted a little bitter bcos of that. Overall, wasn't a fan of the mango donut. My staple go-to is always the milk buns. I also like the apple pastries as well and also anything red bean filled is good. Also, I wanted to use the restroom while my husband was in line but I didn't know there's a code. Then I asked the employee nicely and he was just abruptly said the code is on the receipt. So yea, if you reallly need to go, better hope the line isn't too long haha
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
This is definitely one of the worst Tous Les Jours I've been to - it was super cramped, there was only an abundance of items that were 'unpopular', and the rest of the selection was pitiful. Staff were super unhelpful and seemed uninterested to assist any patrons that walked in. I understand that space can be somewhat of a premium in the Chinatown plaza, but with just better planning, the layout could have been much better. We were so put off by the whole experience that we were in and out within a minute. Avoid, and your best bet is to go to another TLJ or a whole another bakery somewhere else! +unhelpful staff +extremely limited selection +poor layout
google avatar

Rohan D.

Yelp
I don't like the description, it's post-colonial. "French-Asian?" Why not, "Euro-Asian," or maybe "French-Vietnamese?" There are actually a number of different Asian influences on what is still basically French style bakery. The one good thing the French brought to Southeast Asia and by extension, to the Far East. At first I thought the prices were excessive, but one extravagant almond croissant later I changed my mind. I brought home an ube-bread half loaf which reminded me of a bakery in Honolulu, which made me realize that in addition to Vietnamese, Laotian, Chinese, and Japanese influences, some of the good baked goods have Filipino influences. Okay, maybe "French-Asian" is more appropriate than not. I got a very competent cappuccino to accompany my croissant and advanced my diabetes.
google avatar

Min Z.

Yelp
It was popular and crowded with customers on weekends. The prices were a bit higher than most bakeries. There were a variety of drinks, pastries, cakes, and breads. Everything looked really good. We wanted to try them all if not for our full stomach from lunch. It's basically self help service here. Pick your own and pay at the counter. It can be noisy when there's a big crowd. We ordered 4*Ice coffee: strong and good 3*Chestnut Pan bread: it was fresh and good, but not much chestnuts in it. 5*Petite Tiramisu: the portion was small for paying $11, yet it tasted so good and I would say almost perfect. The container was hard to open.

Yelp
(Mango Cake 75% | C) - I found the cake to be high quality, but very expensive for the minimal amount of mango and overload of cream that does not evoke a harmonic balance. (Mocha Cake: 60% | D) - This cake was dry and lacking in flavor. Very disappointing and would not recommend. (Almond Croissant: 80% | B) - This almond croissant is rather crispy but unfortunately lacking in almond flavor, which is quite tragic given the name of the pastry. (Overall: 72% | C) - I found the pastries to be overall pretty mediocre with significant room for improvement, and there are better options elsewhere.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
This is my go-to meetup spot with my girls. I only get like the sausage danishes/bites here because I like savory. But their cakes are actually so adorable here. But my only qualm is that they're always so packed/crowded. And you need a code to get to the bathroom. It's a clean & cute place but severely packed so keep that in mind when visiting.
google avatar

Doug H.

Yelp
First visit to the Oxford cafe. Great looking selections. Recommend the mascarpone bread. That didn't last.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Cute bakery in the heart of chinatown but I felt the cake I got was pretty but not worth it. It was lacking flavor except for the fresh fruit on the bottom and the cake was dry. I am not sure if this is because I came late in the evening but at $8.00 a slice please do better in the taste and value department. I got the strawberry cream cake. The staff were pleasant.
google avatar

Abhishek M.

Yelp
I don't believe I've written a review for this amazing bakery and cake shop yet. I think enough has been written about their fresh and huge baked good selection so I'll focus on their cakes. Our twin boys turned recently and for the past year we've celebrated their birthday every month and on almost every other month we've ordered a cake from here. As a result we've now had their Taro (my personal favorite, strawberry cloud, mango cloud, chocolate mousse, and matcha green tea cakes... some multiple times. The cakes and the cream is always fresh and the cloud cakes feel light and airy, and perhaps a little less guilty? Lol. All cakes come boxed very nicely with candles, matches and a knife. I do recommend calling the day before because their daily selection does vary.
google avatar

Heather J.

Yelp
The staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoy both tiramisu options but felt they needed more esspresso flavor in the regular one and more strawberry flavor in the strawberry one. The chocolate cloud cake was light and airy with a great chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. The shop is small and hard to navigate when busy but worth the stop.

Yelp
Treat yourself while studying Treated myself to some tasty treat while studying for my recertification for aviation and made it enjoyable :)

Yelp
Family favorite and a MUST have when we are eating in China Town. We love everything here, but of course our go to is the custard filled buns, macaroons, and don't you dare leave without having a slice of CLOUD CAKE!!!
google avatar

Jed H.

Yelp
Love coming here when in the area. We were in Chinatown getting dim sum so had to stop and get a few goodies to take home. Did not disappoint!
google avatar

Jordan L.

Yelp
I went into the Tous Les Jours as my sister recommended the Curry Buns. And they did not disappoint. The second I took a bite, I quickly bought 6 more. While it was the only thing I bought, the bakery was packed, and consistent. With a packed bakery, the service was very quick and efficient. I was able to grab my product and purchase them within 5 minutes which is good for someone on the go. All the workers also have a smile which is great for business and friendliness. The bakery was consistently restocking their products which made it easy to find what you were looking for. Overall, it was a very homey atmosphere as they have many couches for customers to sit and enjoy their pastries. This bakery accepts cash, credit, and Apple Pay. Highly recommend for some modern styled Chinese pastries.
google avatar

Annie W.

Yelp
Love the ube latte here. It's got intense and creamy flavor. My kids enjoyed the pastries as well, really fresh and soft. Nice place to rest your feet after Chinatown shopping.

Yelp
My friends and I were in Chinatown for my Birthday. They got me this Mango Cloud Cake which was absolutely delicious. The cake itself was moist and fluffy. Inside of the cake had pieces of Mangos with little of cream. The cake came with candle, matches, and a plastic cake cutter. The staff was so friend and helpful when I was trying to pick between which cake. The interior was very cute. They had a few sitting area. Perfect for catching up with friend or having afternoon tea.
google avatar

Eva T.

Yelp
It's a pretty nice bakery shop. Tous Les Jours has upgraded the decoration and it gives me a Halloween feeling, which is super nice. Got the matcha bread for my breakfast. Super friendly employees here as well. It is also a nice place to hang out with friends.

Yelp
Love their danishes and buns with cheese cream and raspberry. Place is beautiful and the smells are enticing. The workers are very friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
Cheap ass charged me 2 Bulgogi but I only order one. I called back they knew what they doing and refunded my money.

Yelp
Love this bakery. Vietnamese and French inspired baked goods. So fresh and delicious. Service is very prompt. I give it 4 stars because it's pretty expensive. But I do keep going back despite it's price.

Yelp
I've anted to visit Tous Les Jours before and when strolling through Chinatown and stumbling upon this location--plus my friend steering us inside--I got my wish. But unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. I got a mousse cake or something and it was good, but not something I'd bother to go out of my way for (or really, probably not something I'd stop in for even if I was walking by). I don't like the way the layout of the whole system is; maybe I'm not getting it or maybe because my friend has visited here plenty of times she knew what she wanted but since we got in line waiting to get to the front, I couldn't see what was in the pastry case and that meant that I only felt comfortable choosing from the very few items I saw as I was walking in. Since the line was so long, I didn't want to hold everyone up by going to look at the case again when my time came to go to the register. None of the stuff that they had for sale on the way to the front called my name, so it was just the items from the pastry case. This place is a miss for me.
google avatar

Tabitha W.

Yelp
This was the first location of Tour Les Jours that I visited, which helped cement it as my favorite Chicago bakery. We stopped here on a whim while exploring Chinatown and absolutely fell in love. I love the unique take on pastries with their French-Asian influence. It can get a bit busy when you walk in, and I felt a bit pressured to make quick selections as more patrons filled in the store behind us. I would love to see this space opened up a bit more so you can take your time to more casually browse.

Yelp
0 stars!!!!!!!!! MOLD CAKE, NOT FRESH! I ordered a cake on Wednesday in the store for my daughter's 2nd birthday and picked up the cake on Sunday. I think the clerk just put away the cake that was already on display on Wednesday and gave me the same cake on Sunday instead of making a fresh one. The freaking strawberry had mold on it! The macaroon was soggy as hell, definitely not fresh. And other fruits didn't have mold but were all soft like definitely not fresh fruits. I reached out to the store and no one bothered to reply regarding this issue. I've gone to this store so many times and so disappointed about their customer service. It's disgusting to think that the cakes aren't fresh and to get a molded cake for my daughter's birthday while they don't care to respond.
