Tous Les Jours Bakery means "Everyday Bakery."
Baked fresh everyday in the traditional French method just with traditional Korean flavors & flair.
It's the same with a French-Japanese bakery. It's all baked in the traditional French method but with Japanese flavors & flair.
Unlike French-American bakery's that make everything very sweet, this bakery is more like a European bakery, the pastries here are less sweet.
I'm not a fan of sweets. I LOVE the Japanese & Korean bakeries bc they are less sweet. I also love the Asian inspired flavors they use, like green tea, red bean, Mochi, & fruit filled cakes. Also their presentations are immaculately flawless perfection. A work of culinary art.
Not being a sweet eater my faves here are the super simple things like the croissant, the baguette, the turkey croissant sandwich & the multi grain bread with the pumpkin seeds.
The turkey croissant Sammy is freakin amazballs perfect little Sammy. It has turkey, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickles & mayo on a super light perfectly baked croissant.
The baguette's come in two sizes. I like the small one. It's just like the baguettes they serve in Paris. Super crispy & flakey on the outside & light, airy, & fluffy on the inside. Must eat the whole thing within 24 hours of purchase or it gets too dry.
The multigrain bread is the star here. It's a very small loaf like 8-10 slices of bread loaded with pumpkin seeds.
Unfortunately I don't have any pics to load of the multi grain bread bc I slow roasted a pork shoulder yesterday & made cinnamon apple jam last night. This morning hubby decided to make toast with it, then peanut butter & apple jam sandwiches AND pulled pork sandwiches for his extra long day stuck in his office.
You will just have to take my word for it. Lol
Better still, next time your in Super H mart get some & try it for yourself c'est vraiment magnifique.
Bon appétit!
