"Taro cream bread, green tea cloud cake, and sesame doughnuts are some of the unique goodies one will find at the Allston outpost of this French-Asian bakery chain, which originated in South Korea. Its desserts and pastries look like pieces of art — but they taste good too. Tous les Jours is open for takeout and delivery." - Karen Wilber

"Tous les Jours is a chain of bakeries that started in South Korea over 20 years ago and now exists in eight countries, including China and the United States. Its products are a fusion of Korean and continental European stylings. The Danish pan bread is compulsory. (The croissants are also quite good.)" - Terrence Doyle

Had a great gathering here. I've never heard of 'strawberry latte' so tried that and it was like strawberry milk with real strawberry. It was real strawberry flavor not chemical, not too sweet, and very refreshing and pleasant. Other drinks were from my friends for reference. Tried the cloud cake and it was amazing. Very soft sponge cake and well-whipped cream. It went very well with the strawberry latte. Again, not so sweet so I felt like I could have multiple pieces in one sitting. It was yummy. Also tried salt bread: it tasted like soft, slightly salty baguette. Had a nice buttery and just-baked type of taste. Soboru bread was also soft and not too buttery or sweet. I don't like too sweet bakery so it was a pleasure dining here. Nice sitting areas to chitchat. I will be visiting here again!!

This was my first to taste Lavender macchiato, ngl it was great !! And my friend got strawberry latte, he loved it too. I also had Mango cloud cake - it was good.

Google
All pastry and dessert are delicious, it looks like a fancy store and price of cause a little higher. Try Sharkato ice coffee... so good 👍

Google
We tried almond and matcha croissants, tiramisu, Portuguese tart, and lattes (vanilla and mocha). We absolutely loved everything! The croissants were incredibly flaky and flavorful, while the tiramisu was rich and indulgent. The Portuguese tart had a perfect balance of sweetness, and the lattes were a creamy delight. I highly recommend this place if you're craving delicious pastries and coffee!

Google
Phenomenal cake shop with some of the best tasting cakes & small desert plates. Everything looked really good & was pretty tough to decide on what to eat. I ended up getting the gnache mousse cake which was so good very rich in flavor and wasn’t disappointed at all. They have plenty & I mean plenty to choose from I would recommend trying more than one of the many deserts they have available.

Google
Certified yummy moment! Tous les Jours has a varied selection of self-serve pastries that delight the eyes as you walk in. Plus: they have cookies, cakes, and other sweets too! The pastries are consistent in quality and bursting with flavor. Today I chose the twin egg bread and took it home, heated in it my toaster oven, and enjoyed it with an episode of The Great British Baking Show’s pastry week! The two were a great pair. Don’t just focus on the pastries and sweets, however. Tous les Jours has fantastic coffee, too. The lavender latte is a staple; trust me, you don’t want to miss this one. Thanks Tous les Jours for another wonderful morning and thank you to the kind staff who helped us today!

I think this is not only one of the best but actually the best bakery in Boston. Everything here is just amazing. For any type of function me and all my family and friends get cake from here. I love there fresh cream cake and there chocolate fresh cream cake. Simply the best place for fresh cakes.

Always so good, doesn’t matter what time of the day I go here. Normally I stop by for breakfast and there’s always parking. If you’re trying to go here in the evenings, good luck finding a parking spot. These pastries are always fresh and the drinks are made to order. I’m never disappointed with anything here. I’m always going back for more.

Yelp
this french/korean fusion chain bakery is a must-visit in allston! they have a lot of options that are unique to the chain, so take your time looking around to pick the best one for you! there's the pastry cases and a table with prepackaged breads. they also have a cohesive drink menu that pair well with their pastry selections. give ube latte a try!! id also recommend the matcha cream croissant and the sausage bun! we arrived around 10:05am and it was almost empty but it started picking up around 11am. try to get their in the morning as their most popular offers sell out fast!

Yelp
If you're looking for yummy French-Asian inspired desserts, you must check out tous les jous! The one I went to is located on Harvard Ave in Allston, which is easily accessible by the 57 bus or green line. There's also street parking and a parking lot near by! Tous Les Jous has cakes, baked goods, breads and lots more. I stopped by to get the glazed lemon bread - it was delicious. Their prices are reasonable and the employees are nice. I wish they had a seating area available, but it has been closed off for a while. Whether you want a quick bite for breakfast or dessert after dinner, check out Tous Les Jous! Overall rating: 7/10

Yelp
We've ordered cakes and pastries from here and other locations before...but quick shout out on the taro cream bun we bought. Its about $4 but its so freaking good. Its very dense and thick. So creamy and so good!

Johnnie C.

Yelp
Having a sweet tooth after a long miserable day of shopping with my wife, I determined it was payback time for a treat. On my way home I drove by Tours Les Jours and decided to give it a try. The shop front was nothing exceptional but there was easy to find street parking. When I walked in expecting simple, I was met with a huge, modern shop with eat-in tables and loads of hot, cold and counter options. My takeaway turn into a now and later as the choices were many and all of them tempting. My wife, daughter and I sample several pastries such as a form of cream puff with fresh strawberries, vanilla creme doughnut, milk cream bun, coffees all around. Yummy... to take home we took macarons, almond croissant, blueberry milk bread, and more. Basically I am now an expert at the menus and can highly recommend this place. I'll be going back!

Yelp
A must for morning coffee and pastries!! I love coming in here and picking out new items to try. Last visit we ordered the Honey Lavender Macchiato, a feta spinach pastry, a blueberry and sweet cheese danish and then we grabbed a roll of soft milk bread to take home. You can choose to get everything wrapped up to go, or throw it on a tray and ask them to heat up your food to sit and enjoy in the bakery.

Yelp
Ever since moving to the Brighton/Allston area in 2019 I have made efforts towards exploring the different bakeries but didn't discover this spot/try it until a few months ago when I went in and had one of the red bean donuts (delicious!!!). I have also had cakes from here at events and they are always decadent. Recently I took a good friend in and we got drinks/pastries and enjoyed it so much hat we grabbed more to go on our way out! We had the yuzu pie, red bean donut, a twist donut, and a Croque Monsieur. We also had a warm milk tea latte and iced matcha-I'm not usually a matcha person but love theirs! Some of my other favs are the sweet cheese and blueberry pies, taro cream bread, honeydew melon soft bread, honey cheese mochi pancakes (we also got these to go and ate them the following morning SO GOOD), and the croissants :)

Ashley A.

Yelp
Nice variety of bread, pastries, and savory foods, go for the pastries for sure, like the milk cream bread, the coffee cake, the twisted donut. As far as drinks, haven't had many, but can say the lavender latte was not great, might be more of a personal preference thing though. I wish they had a working bathroom and opened up the tables so you could hang out and enjoy your pastry on the stop.

Young K.

Yelp
If there is one Tous Les Jours around, always stop by to see the pastry choices. It is so worth spending $20 on 4 different pastries, and getting coffee or a juice here because all of it is SO GOOD. They have all the regular choices that sell in every other Tous Les Jours, and sometimes add their own special menu as well.

Jungho S.

Yelp
Nice store. Nice Brad. Nice cake. Nice coffee. and Nice service.....................

Yelp
I would give 4 stars for the breads, and 2 stars for their drinks. Food I've tried: - MATCHA ESPRESSO ($5.25): definitely very sweet. The matcha flavor was weak, and it was hidden by the milk and espresso. The espresso itself was also not as strong as I would have liked. Overall, it tasted more like overly syrup-sweet milk than anything else. - SWEET POTATO MOUSSE CAKE ($6.95): the cake is creamy, and has a strong sweet potato flavor. Very standard mousse cake, on the sweeter side. To my knowledge, this is the only place in Boston that sells Korean mousse cake (I have spent many months searching!) - SOBORO ($3.25): standard soboro, which is bread with sweetened peanut butter flavor crust. - MILK BREAD ($7.50): standard Korean milk bread with a pillowy dough. If you have not tried Korean bakery bread loaf, I highly recommend. Atmosphere: - After COVID, they have closed off all of the seating areas and it is to go only. Service: - Bread area is self serve. For those that have never been to these self serve bakeries: take a tray at the entrance, line it with parchment paper, grab a pair of tongs to pick out the breads you want. You can hand the entire tray over to the cashier, and they will package it for you. - I've visited multiple times, and I have noticed checkout to be a bit slow. Usually they have one person working, who calculates your purchases, bags your bread, and makes any drinks. Given the same person is making the drinks, it can take some time. Overall: - Standard Korean bakery, flavors on the sweeter side.

Yelp
Got delivery of macaroons for my birthday. Such a sweet gift. I loved 5/6 of them but one was not good at all. Tasted like essential oils. I think it was the rose or grapefruit one. I couldn't tell.

Niharika G.

Yelp
You know when you have the late night craving for dessert and it's 9:30pm? That's how we found Tous Les mango cake and macaroons on door dash. The place is overall okay! Door dash delivery came fast and everything was satisfactory, but wasn't mind blowing! The mango crepe cake was the right texture, but flavors seemed not as organic. Loved the rose macaroons, had a delicate essence to it!

Nikki N.

Yelp
They have amazing Asian influence pastries (e.g. green tea matcha and red bean). I can't wait to go back and try other items. My favorites were definitely the green tea matcha donut and almond croissant. I also like that they have tongs for customers to grab items for COVID safety reasons and general food hygiene. I tried the iced coffee and matcha latte- I would pass on ordering beverages.

Hubert H.

Yelp
Some of the breads I got at the end of the day were already not too fresh. The melon bun didn't have much melon flavor (why would it be called a melon bun?). The chocolate croissant's chocolate wasn't delicate enough, and some of the crust was too tough. Some of the breads are also too plain. Overall a bit disappointed, especially given the price points.

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times before and great experience each time! The interior design is so cute, and I love the displays of pastries and desserts. Everything is individually packaged, which is convenient for people to grab and go. I love coming here for dessert after eating lunch/dinner around the area and then also grabbing a few pastries to go as well. I can never just get one thing from here!

Monica L.

Yelp
This was an amazing and delicious cake! We ordered it for my roommates birthday and it was so worth it. The icing had a soft and smooth texture. The cake was not overly sweet as most cakes are, yet it was so good. The blueberries were also fresh. The cake came nicely packaged in a fine box with a cake cutter and candles. The cutter had four matches inside, we were unable to figure out how to take the matches out. This bakery has become my new Boston favorite. This weekend I sent my friend a cake from Tous les jeours for her birthday through Uber eats.

Leiyanne R.

Yelp
Food: The variety of breads, cakes, and pastries at Tous Les Jours is the best I've seen at any Asian bakery! I got a dozen macarons (each was around $3) and the flavors were so unique. I appreciated how the colors weren't so bright and loud :) They also have a pretty wide menu of drink. - Earl Grey Macaron - Hazelnut Macaron - Cookies and Cream Macaron - Rose Macaron - Raspberry Macaron - Vanilla Macaron - Blueberry Lavender Macaron - Green Tea Macaron Ambiance: The layout of the bakery is really efficient and allows for easy browsing. Love the cake and macaron display!

Susan N.

Yelp
I've been to a few locations in NYC but unfortunately, I don't think this place is really worth it. I think the pastries and cakes are cute but they're alright. It is also rather pricey too. I was visiting the area and got a slice of green tea cake. It was pretty good and not too sweet but overall, not worth it for $8!

Ajith J.

Yelp
My goodness!!!! We had such an amazing experience eating from here. The place itself feels like magic and my mood was elevated from just being in there and looking at all the amazingly baked and crafted to perfection pastries. We tried out a bunch of different slices of cakes. Mango was by far the best and blew us all away. The experience I had from eating here is one I will hold dear.

Marni M.

Yelp
I ordered the strawberry cloud cake #3 since it was the largest size they had. I was caught off guard by the price as it was listed as $36, so I assumed roughly $40 with taxes and such. The total ended up being $48.15 so definitely not your typical bakery store prices. Packaging was incredibly convenient as it came with a knife, 5 beautiful and thin candles, and two long matches! Cake was very moist and not overly sweet. Super addicting to eat and delicious. Will order again and try some of their baked goods next time.

Lina B.

Yelp
Highly recommend, the cakes looks and taste amazing. The high-end and interesting package comes with a candle, matches, a cake server and a cake tray. Also, they have multiple choices, and the cakes look copy from the catalog.

AJ C.

Yelp
Stopped in after dinner last week and oh boy that was nice. I wasn't expecting these French pastries with a Korean flavor profile. The sweet potato cake and the strawberry bun I got were out of this world. Highly recommend.

Erin W.

Yelp
Their cloud cake is my most favorite cake of all time. That being said ... this review is only based on that. I haven't had anything else at this bakery. Ooooops!!! Anywayyyyy, I have gotten this cake TWO birthdays IN A ROW, and I want to continue getting this cake for ALL of my birthdays. It's seriously THAT GOOD!!! A little pricey, but honestly, it's worth it!!! Customer service is pretty good too. Always super accommodating ... even for day-of orders. I've gotten so many friends hooked on this cake. Next to be hooked ... is YOU!!! Wink, wink.

Max G.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Feels so modern and clean. The pastry's are great. There's one like chocolate lovers one w powdered chocolate and it has this crispy layer that's incredible. The savory pastries are good too I like the hot dog cheese one. I reallly love the milk bread and marscapone bread. It toasts up so well and is perfect white bread. My big complaint here is the packaging. You pay 20$+ and they jam it all in little bags... the box for pastries is like an extra 2$? Crazy.

Jo C.

Yelp
Of all the Tous Les Jours locations in Boston this one has the most diverse baked goods. They also have several tables and chairs to eat the pastries which is nice but it's packed with students studying. They have so many French-Asian fusion baked goods including matcha donut and red bean donut that I've tried. I came here to order a birthday cake and luckily I had asked if the cakes were baked fresh daily. Apparently all the cream cakes are shipped from headquarter on Tuesdays while the fresh cream cakes are made daily. Needless to say, for last minute birthday cakes I bought a "premium" chocolate vanilla layered fresh cream cake that was made the day of. They had several options but that was the one I chose. I normally don't like chocolate cake but this cake was so delicious! It wasn't too sweet and the cream was light and fresh. I'll definitely come back for more cakes.

Michelle T.

Yelp
We had rented a house in the area for the week of X's birthday, so I was on the hunt for a birthday cake. If you want to preorder a cake, you have to do it over the phone. I called about a month in advance and they were able to accommodate my order. I paid over the phone. The cake was ready for pick up at the time requested and tasted great. The in-laws were impressed with the cake knife/matchstick combo. I do love that about Tous Les Jours cakes - it comes with all the necessary items you need to celebrate a birthday without having to hunt down a lighter or candles. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this branch o Tous Les Jours for all your cake matters!

Julia M.

Yelp
I got the honey lavender macchiato and the mushroom and cheese pastry -- both were incredible! I'm so excited to go back and try more. The ambiance in there was also wonderful.

Sam D.

Yelp
Clean Asian bakery with French/Parisian vibes. No seating options due to covid, if it is warm, there are benches outside along the street to sit. Come inside and be as clean as possible by grabbing a tray and a personal tong. You will use these to pick up the items you want and once you are done bring your tray and tongs to the cashier. The Asians bakery good selection is awesome! Don't expect super sweet donuts here! Expect fresh cream cake with fruits or chocolate. They also have various savory goods like croissant with ham or sausage. Prices are decent but definitely not cheap. No public bathroom. They have good and polite service here.

David C.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday cake. Parking here is metered street parking. Got the cloud cake with a bunch of fruits on top and one layer of strawberries inside. This cake was very well made. The cream was perfect sweetness, light, and compliments the inside breading very well. The breading is also light and soft and acceptably moist (lol...I know some people don't like this word). There is an acceptable amount of fruits. Cake was very well decorated and easy to cut with the provided plastic serving knife. Simple and elegant. The lightness of the entire cake is just perfect after stuffing our faces from a big birthday meal. Way way better than the supermarket cakes. Overall, I would come back and I do recommend the cake that I got. Hope that helps.

Tinna Y.

Yelp
Love the cake! I'm not a big fan of whipped cream or icing, but I think I can do their cakes. It's not too heavy or too sweet. Perfect balance between the soft sponge cake and the cream. Their pastries are cute and small portion, meaning you can eat more than one in an afternoon, hahaha. However they might be a bit pricy consider the size. The only thing I can't get used to is the attitude from the cashiers. Visited to 2 different location during the trip, and both of them seems to be annoyed and unhappy at work.

Felicia L.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday and was very satisfied with their selection of cute pastries and other bread. I got a couple of milk breads, croissants, berry cream cheese pastries, and croquettes and they were very yummy! It is best to finish the pastries the day of purchase (as they suggest) because putting them in the refrigerator definitely changes the softness and texture of the bread. I also love how fresh everything tastes. I also purchased two slices of cakes (strawberry and mango) and they were each close to $8. However, the cakes themselves were pretty simple and light and in my opinion, there was nothing super special about them. They were overall pretty sweet and had quite a bit of whipped cream too so I would say that the cakes here are not really worth the money. Even though the quality isn't bad, you're much better off going to another bakery like Paris Baguette to get cakes for a more reasonable price. Tous Les Jours is a cute little bakery that will definitely fulfill your bread cravings but certain things on their menu are a bit overpriced. I would check it out if you haven't already! Their social distancing procedure is also very safe and taken seriously by the staff. Would recommend!

Chanh T.

Yelp
I thought Tous Les Jours always carry a good mission in serving their customers but maybe NOT for this store particularly. Most of the staffs here are very rude and this was not the first time I experience their horrible service here, so I have to leave a review. I asked one of the girl at the registry if they still have the cream puffs in store. She did just ignore my question, I asked again then one of the male staff who stood next to her responded in a rude manner, as if he was annoyed with my question so he just said "No we don't" (in a very rude TONE). Will never ever come back to this store again!

Christina C.

Yelp
*This review is regarding a Doordash order, I have never physically been at the location and therefore can't comment on things such as customer service or interior. Taste: A Portion:B Price: B ----------------- I know they are known for their desserts but honestly, I'm not a huge fan of their cakes and pastries. They're not bad, I just don't think they are anything specially and since they come with a pretty hefty price tag, I tend to pass on them. What does keep me coming back are their savory breads. Their Korean sausage bread is *chiefs kiss*. Full disclosure, I've never had Korean sausage bread before, theirs could be completely average but that doesn't change the fact that is is amazing! Just take my word for it, get the sausage bread with one of their iced drinks and skip the dessert and you will be a happy camper!

Savannah B.

Yelp
Such a fan of Tous Les Jours! We took everything to go because of covid and enjoyed it in the car. I tried their Pain au chocolat and sausage and cheese pastries for the first time and loved them! The staff here is always super friendly and welcoming. They seemed to be following all covid-19 guidelines, which was very appreciated by us. My mom had one of their strawberry croissants which she always gets whenever we go to Tous Le Jours. Overall, I recommend this place to everybody who enjoys sweet and savory pastries and cakes. They also have an extensive coffee, tea, and cold drink menu that I would love to try in the future.

Fox E.

Yelp
So I'm into gross restrooms and floors And I'll often get down on all fours And though this ship has sailed Still, when I'm getting railed I feel like a tart at Tous Les Jours Lovely chain bakery which is not my fave but is also pretty good. Service is nice, prices are high, it's definitely one of the better locations of this chain that's literally everywhere (even Syracuse FFS), but it's still not quite 5 stars on some levels for me, unless you're talking about hang out spots in which case it really is. Their little pineapple bread thing was pretty damn delicious so I have to go with 5, despite the reservations. Not to be confused with reserved asians which this place is full of.

Erika G.

Yelp
Amazing eats that'll have you feeling like you're in a Parisian cafe. Reviews on what I ordered below + my delivery experience. Strawberry Cloud Cake Regular hot coffee Milk Cream Donut Curry Croquette Chicken Dumpling Croquette My favorite was the famous cloud cake. Super lightweight fresh cream wonderfully accented by berries and cake. A must get if you ever get anything. Coffee is superior to (popular place that has green stars). The donut was GIGANTIC! Dusted with crystals of sugar and a crème inside much lighter and less sweeter than a dunkin' donuts boston creme donut. It's like going from a sandwich roll to a freshly baked baguette. The chicken dumpling croquette, yum, love the hybrid of cultures and cuisines. Dumplings are already delish, even more in a croquette. The curry one was also outstanding, could use a kick of a spice. The packaging was neat (the coffees had plastic wrap to avoid spills) and beautiful. The name tags on the donut and cake were edible - which I was pleasantly surprised to find out. I see myself returning for a coffee and bite regularly and ordering an entire cloud cake on special occasions like birthdays! Incredible experience and food overall.

Angela C.

Yelp
Was so surprised when I walked in here to find that there was a Korean twist/inspiration to this French-named cafe. I decided to buy a few cakes that were pretty unusual for a white American palate but that I've had often in Asian restaurants, such as the honeydew roll (green pastry pictured) and sweet potato cake. Really liked the light and fluffy texture of the cakes but both flavors tasted very artificial to me. I ate only half the honeydew roll because it was overbearingly sweet. Otherwise a very cute cafe- on the pricier side for sure but if all their goodies are baked fresh daily it makes sense!

Bailee P.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed with this bakery. The twin egg roll was just what I needed for a snack. It tasted like a little breakfast sandwich pastry. It was actually quite filling. The fruit pastry is what blew me away. The cream inside of it was so fresh and not too sweet. The fruit was also fresh. It was such a cute vibe and you get to serve yourself all the goodies.

La P.

Yelp
The cake itself its still good, but inflation excuse me shrinflation has taken over this place. It went from seven bucks and the slices were descent. Now u barely get two spoonfuls and its 9.95. Yeaaa...... cake can stay on display. I got a croissant instead. The matcha tea is good but if prices continue to rise and quantity getting smaller. I'll have to only go there for my birthday. Prices are over the roof.

Melanie W.

Yelp
One of my favorite bakery... their bread and pastries never disappointed me other than the price getting more expensive. This time I went for the drinks only... I purchased the rose mango ade which the mango taste is much stronger than rose. It had few raspberries in it which adds some berries taste to it.

Polly Y.

Yelp
I like this place overall. There's usually not a ton left when you go later in the day, but a big fan of the purple yam bread whenever it's available. The kimchi croquette is also delicious! The cakes here look pretty cute. I've tried some before and just wasn't a fan of the flavors. Just tasted a bit odd. Would recommend for photos but not my cup of tea. The staff here is also okay for the most part. Don't seem super friendly but aren't rude either.

Shirley W.

Yelp
I've never doubted how tasty the pastries here are buy I got a Triple Delight Coffee Cake and I promise you, every penny you put in this cake is WORTH! A friend brought the cake over for dinner and it was definitely the highlight of the night! Ive seen it in the Tous Les Jour ads but I never thought about how amazing it tastes but I finally had my chance to try it. The cream on it was super light, fluffy and the perfect level of sweetness. The cake itself definitely tasted like coffee but the cream, surprisingly has a hint of but perfect level of coffee fragrance to it. I was definitely mind blown but this for each cake that Tous Les Jour sell, they also include candles and a cake cutter. The cake cutter has the logo/name of the business but it also includes 2 matches. You can easily light the matches with the inside of the handle. I was very mind blown by the amount of thought that went into the cake and service. I am so thankful that my friend brought this cake over and 100% would recommend and 100% would get another

Devon K.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Asian bakeries and having been to the Tous Les Jours in Mongolia, I was excited to find a branch had opened up in boston! The place is definitely cute inside with umbrellas in the ceiling and an open layout of pastries. You grab a tray and a pair of tongs, load it up with baked goods, and then head to the register. I decided to try out one of my favorite pastries which was the scallion hot dog. This was one of my favorite pastries when I lived in New York, so I was excited to have it close by. I opted to not get it heated up and it was still delicious. The hot dog tasted meaty and the bread was fluffy and fresh. It was clearly a dish that had been freshly prepared. My only issue was the price. Clearly more expensive than Chinatown, likely due to its location. The pastries are about $2-$4 each so if you're looking to sample a few it will cost you a lot but we split this and had a nice little snack. I will definitely be back to try more of their pastries!

Sharon H.

Yelp
I LOVE Tous Les Jours, and it's probably my favorite korean bakery out of all of them. Their pastries never disappoint, always fresh, they have the best flavors whether you're craving something savory, sweet, light, or heavy (it's all about consistency folks). I moved to Boston during covid so I didn't get a chance to dine in here but the space itself is very small and can imagine it getting packed with people once indoor seating opens back up. But it seemed like they could fit at most 8 tables, so definitely on the smaller end of Tous Les Jours that I have been to. My staples are: + Red Bean Bread (red bean filling) + Milk Bread (a light, milk custard filling) + Custard Bun (classic custard filling) + Soboro Bread (basically peanut crumble with no filling) + Strawberry Croissant (whip cream filling with strawberries) + Sweet Rice Donut (basically a fried mochi with red bean filling) + green tea donut (same as above bu with green tea cream filling) The biggest compliment I can give any pastry shop is saying it's not too sweet but sweet enough and TLJ hits the nail on the head on that one. The french-asian elements are fantastic here and love that things are share-able but also binge-worthy (because like i said, not too sweet). The only thing is, this is definitely the most overpriced TLJ I have been to. I was shocked to see that their pastries are $3-4 each when normally it's $2-3 (max) in other states. But also, I'm coming from Maryland and Virginia where korean bakeries are plenty so maybe it's just a supply and demand situation here... but still, really sad about the hiked up prices - just know it's not like this in other places! Also, they sell out of pastries fast. All their good stuff is available around lunchtime and they seem to be out of most things around 6/7 pm so try to come early if there's something in particular that you're craving. They also sell flavored almonds (ie. honey butter almonds) which are so hard to find, but SO addicting for around $10 a bag!!

Yelp
I really like their pastries. The filling is quite different from the norm and they're less sweet than regular pastries. When you walk in, you see bunch of trays and tongs. Pick one of each cuz soon that tray is going to be full! The wall is lined with shelves of delicious treats. I love their red bean bun. They also have typical flavors like chocolate, hazelnut on different types of pastries. Other goodies include apple pie, cronuts, etc. They also have warm savory snacks, bread, roll cake, cake slices for purchase along with coffee, but I've never tasted it. My absolute favorite here is their fresh cream cake. We've gotten one multiple times and everyone's loved it. Oh so delicious. It is layered with fruit - mix berries on top, sliced strawberry inside. The cake just melts in your mouth - so good. And again, it's not too sweet. The best part is they usually have it available in the window in case you need a cake for an occasion but forgot to place an order. Service is quick and with a smile. The ambiance is also nice - generally quiet, mostly students. Parking is on the street, but it's Harvard Ave, so walking here or taking the T might be better. A great place to grab a nice pastry, maybe read a book by the window kinda cafe.

Yelp
Good bread + DISGUSTING Service = Never Return Would rather drive extra miles to Malden or Burlington to better service. Goodbye Allston Location !

Yelp
Food - pastry is average. Expensive. Some are fresh and some are not. Service - Very slow. Also poor. They only have one person working at the counter, including during the busiest time. The same person bags your bread, boxes your cakes, makes your drink, calculates your purchases, picking up the phones, etc. As some of the pastries are not wrapped, this same person who also accepts money and gives changes, also touches your unwrapped pastries with his bare hands and bags them for you. When I requested him to use gloves, he simply replied be saying "This is how it is. My hands have touched everything and now I am touching your bread". No gloves are provided for the employees in this store.

Yelp
The Chocolate cloud cream cake and the Coconut cake are the best birthday cakes ever made. I did the right decision by getting it from here. Everybody couldn't stop with a bite of those cake. I frequent here to indulge on other stuff too. Their best - Croquette, Ades - Rose Mango ade, Macaroons.

Yelp
Their iced coffee is really decent with a medium-dark roast just a hint of acidity. I tried a lot of coffee all over the place, and both their hot & cold brew rivals some of the higher end coffee/bakery joints around the city. Pastry selection is awesome. I always grab their red bean bun, cheesecake, cinnamon twist & caramel apple pie. You can definitely taste the "made-daily" in all of their selections. I seldom order their fresh strawberry cakes or their selections in the display fridge but when I do, I was never disappointed.
