I have dined at Michelin star restaurants, from 1 all the way up to 3. As other reviewers have said, this restaurant is at that tier and was, in fact, better than the majority of the Michelin restaurants I’ve been to. Every single course in the tasting menu was delicious, presentation was immaculate and artistic, and both entrees were nothing short of sublime (the Iberian pork and Talbot fillet… WOW!!!). The service was impeccable, with great wine recommendations and the sort of service you’d expect at a Michelin restaurant. I will also note, I have been to restaurants where tasting menu service was glacial to the point I considered paying and leaving - this entire experience was timely and, in my opinion, perfect. It seemed that attention was paid to my pace and so I never waited long for the next course, but it was also never before I was ready for it. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and, despite being a pathetic monolingual American, I felt very comfortable and communication was easy.
I’ll also mention, I went to Japan just this year and the broth to the ravioli dish was nothing short of exquisite, on the level of the best broths I had while in Japan.
Overall, one of the best restaurants I have ever dined at and for the quality and quantity of food and wine I thought that the price was incredible, too: 143 euros for the tasting (95), 3 glasses of wine, and a digestif (for one person) IN. PARIS! Do yourself a favor and go here!!
