"Japanese chef Shin Okusa is at the helm of the Towa, close to the bustling Aligre market. A champion of old-school French culinary traditions and a true disciple of Escoffier, he not only whisks up the great classics (French lamb stew, breast of duck in flaky pastry), but also sauces, hot terrines and pies, with superlative skill and flair." - Michelin Inspector

We had the most lovely meal at TOWA! It was our first Michelin experience so we weren’t sure what to expect, but it completely exceeded our expectations. The service was amazing and the food was incredible (we did the tasting menu, I’m still dreaming about the monkfish.) The servers were extremely friendly and attentive; we would definitely come back next time we visit Paris. Merci!

We had a fantastic time at TOWA. The tasting menu was amazing, a real adventure of taste and texture. The service was impeccable. Both of us feel like dining here was the highlight of our weekend in Paris 💕

I have dined at Michelin star restaurants, from 1 all the way up to 3. As other reviewers have said, this restaurant is at that tier and was, in fact, better than the majority of the Michelin restaurants I’ve been to. Every single course in the tasting menu was delicious, presentation was immaculate and artistic, and both entrees were nothing short of sublime (the Iberian pork and Talbot fillet… WOW!!!). The service was impeccable, with great wine recommendations and the sort of service you’d expect at a Michelin restaurant. I will also note, I have been to restaurants where tasting menu service was glacial to the point I considered paying and leaving - this entire experience was timely and, in my opinion, perfect. It seemed that attention was paid to my pace and so I never waited long for the next course, but it was also never before I was ready for it. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and, despite being a pathetic monolingual American, I felt very comfortable and communication was easy. I’ll also mention, I went to Japan just this year and the broth to the ravioli dish was nothing short of exquisite, on the level of the best broths I had while in Japan. Overall, one of the best restaurants I have ever dined at and for the quality and quantity of food and wine I thought that the price was incredible, too: 143 euros for the tasting (95), 3 glasses of wine, and a digestif (for one person) IN. PARIS! Do yourself a favor and go here!!

My second visit to this secret gem in Paris was every bit as special as last year. The cooking is beautifully refined but not timid in flavourings, and the wine list by the glass provides excellent options for a solo diner. I will certainly return again.

Dining at TOWA restaurant is such an exquisite dining experience in Paris. All dishes have the authenticity of French gastronomy with the Japanese touch of the chef who happened to have experiences with French Starred chefs. What strikes me most is we enjoyed our foods from the first dish until desserts as the pastry chef who seems to have experiences with French high cuisine in the palaces serves us with the excellent desserts in all terms. Highly recommend!

Just perfect. Had an amazing dinner here with the 5-course tasting menu and sake. Loved everything, apart from the hot duck fois gras pie (my personal preference). The service was outstanding, never had to ask for anything, the staff were serving excellence without any reminders. Highly recommended !

Worthy of a Michelin star no doubt. The food was incredibly balanced, interesting, and top quality. We did the chefs tasting menu and it exceeded our expectations. With lots of restaurants to choose from in Paris, this one really hits the mark even and above other michellins we’ve been to in the city. 100% plan to come back.

We went here during our trip to Paris for a variation on traditional French food. Totally worth the trip. Everything was delicious, and it was very beautifully done as well. Everything you'd expect from a French-Japanese fusion. The duck and foie gras pie in particular was a treat, though it is so rich I suggest sharing it. The dessert was delicious and gorgeous as well. A couple runs the restaurant, with the husband as main chef and the wife as the pastry chef. They were both lovely and accommodating, and the husband even came out to greet us before we left. This place is punching above its weight class for a small family run restaurant.
