"It’s been a successful day at the beach, and you and your friends don’t want it to be over yet. You aren’t getting into Bungalow with those flip flops on, so go to Tower 12 in Hermosa Beach instead. In fact, just spend the whole day there. The sand is cleaner, the water is nicer, and Tower 12 is the perfect post-beach drinking spot. On the second floor on the Hermosa Pier, this bar/restaurant pulls in crowds for cold drinks and good burgers, and that’s all that really matters to you at this point. Stick around at night when the DJ appears and things get a bit wild." - brant cox
"Come Fridays and Saturdays, the Hermosa pier and surrounding downtown area turn into a Moscow Mule-soaked paradise. If you’re looking for the heart of the action, get a reservation at Tower 12. The nautical-themed restaurant and bar is located right on the pier and has a solid menu of burgers, pizza, and other things people want to eat while drinking. If you stick around late enough, the space itself will turn into a full party, but for a change of scenery, you’re steps away from every other kind of nightlife as well." - sylvio martins
"Every Thanksgiving you and your friends come home and go to the same lame South Bay bars and act like you’re 21. Take your tradition into adulthood at Tower 12, the bar and restaurant right on the Hermosa Pier that’s quickly become our go-to drinking spot in an area with no shortage of drinking spots. The difference at Tower 12 is it’s actually a pretty solid restaurant in its own right, with a Hamptons-y aesthetic that isn’t nearly as irritating as it sounds." - brant cox
"Very few neighborhoods in LA know how to party like Hermosa Beach knows how to party. Come Fridays and Saturdays, the Hermosa pier and surrounding downtown area turn into a vodka-soaked paradise, and if you’re looking to head into the heart of the action, get a reservation at Tower 12. The nautical-themed restaurant/bar is located right on the pier and has a very solid menu of burgers and pizza and other things everybody likes eating. If you stick around late enough, the space itself will turn into a full-on party, but if you’re looking a change of scenery, you’re steps away from every other kind of nightlife you could want." - brant cox
"At first glance, Tower 12 seems like it would be too nice to roll in with flip flops and swimsuits, but then you remember you’re deep in the South Bay and pants are just weird cover-ups used only for weddings and funerals. This two-story bar/restaurant right on the Hermosa Beach is one of the newer spots around, and has the nightlife crowds to prove it. But head here right after the beach and you’ll find a cool crowd, solid food, and drinks that’ll definitely keep the good vibes going. Their signature is a “Mai Mule” served in a 90-ounce punch bowl with a volcano in the middle. Hello from the other side." - brant cox
